To the confident, unshakable, and radiant Amy Rose!

WARNING: Per wiki policy, Spoilers Off applies to Moments pages. All spoilers will be unmarked!

  • The premise of the game is that it's Amy's birthday. And everyone goes out of their way to make sure it's a good day for her as much as possible within reason. Knuckles managed to stay in character until she left though it was clearly uncomfortable for him. Espio wrote really bad poetry, and Vector tried to bring a knife just to sell the act, both breaking character only to give her their present. Blaze came from a separate dimension just to attend. Shadow tried really hard to get her a surprise present though it made him look suspicious and she accused him of being the murderer. And Sonic clearly had to pull some serious favors to get that birthday cake since he'd forgotten his wallet. It's adorable to see them go all out for her. This is especially heartwarming when, for a while, she was one of the most contentious characters in the franchise, some believing that she was poorly written and annoying at her worst. It's nice to see Amy get the respect she deserves.
  • Why was Shadow locking the doors? He realized that he forgot to get Amy a gift, and so he was trying to get tickets for a concert for a band she loves. Granted, he accidentally printed the home page in process and the tickets wouldn't be available until later in the day, but the thought still counts. Amy is evidently very touched, even inviting him to join her.
    • While he tries to claim he went to all that effort because he was "worried about his social status", the reality is he genuinely does care about Amy and how she feels, even if he has trouble showing it. Which especially makes sense, considering she was responsible for his Heel–Face Turn in his debut game.
    • He even agrees to go with her, though he clearly has no interest in the band and was outright offended when the PC suggested he was a fan.
  • Talking to Blaze after the heist has her ask Tails to say hello to Cream for her, a sweet reminder of their friendship.
  • The player character has a Heroic BSoD moment after everything has been revealed, leading them to believe it's all their fault and that playing along with the gang resulted in them being captured by the train, who is a Badnik hell-bent on delivering everyone to Dr. Eggman, and didn't speak up about how Sonic was really injured the whole time. Despite that, Sonic gives the player character a Rousing Speech, insisting that whatever happened wasn't their fault, and to do the best they can in the moment. The upbeat remix of his theme, "It Doesn't Matter" from Sonic Adventure 2, adds to the scene.
Sonic: Hey. I can tell this situation is getting to you. I get it, the road's getting tough. It's easy to question the decisions that got you here. But when negative thoughts hit you, let it pass, and keep living.
  • Tails admits that when he's unsure of what to do, he asks himself what Sonic would do in his situation. When the PC says so to Sonic later, Sonic takes it in stride. No teasing or arrogance. Their relationship will never not be adorable.
  • Once Sonic lands the third hit to free the Flicky, Espio immediately jumps in to save it. Amy is then the one to deal the final blow to the train, which causes it to explode. While Amy falls back from the explosion, Sonic comes in and catches her in a Bridal Carry. He's always going to be her hero.
  • The love the conductor has for his wife is rather sweet, as he is looking forward to spending his retirement with her. Sickeningly Sweethearts he may be, you can tell he's got a very healthy marriage going. The ending scene shows that the feeling goes both ways, where his wife embraces him after being worried for several hours.
  • The ending where everyone gets off the train safely, Amy celebrates her birthday properly, and the Conductor is reunited with his wife and the Flicky that formerly powered the Badnik train. It's a very pleasant scene to end the story on after both a stress-inducing sequence and fight with the train itself.
  • Even the villains get some moments. Sage and Metal Sonic appear right at the end to celebrate Eggman's (presumed) victory is really adorable. The "Let's Go Dad" T-Shirts they wear just adds to it, making them more like a surrogate family. To add to the moment, according to DEEGEEMIN, the T-Shirts were made by Sage.
