We're talking about the villains here, but Bet Sykes hasn't forgotten about her boss, Lord Harwood; upon finding him in a really sorry state among hobos in the streets, she saves him by bringing him to her sister's home, helps him walk again, helps him recollect his memories and provides him with clothes and replacement noses. She really considers him as more than just her employer.
John Ripper gets Alfred out of his funk after Esme's death by motivating him to do physical exercises again. Ripper's true motivations to do so are not really commendable, but it works, and Alfred comes back kicking.

Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane eventually realizing they're made for each other. Cue the Big Damn Kiss.
Season 2
Bet Sykes' arc. She starts off the season as a seemingly ruthless State Sec officer who's in charge of interrogating potential enemies of the Raven Union who got rounded up (often meaning that they are declared guilty by default). Then one of them, Katie Browning, pierces her armor by stating that she doesn't truly believe in the Raven Union's ideals and is worth better than this. It hits Bet right in the feels, which motivates her to kill a misogynistic and rapist Raven Union officer, free Katie and bring her to London. Then the two of them fall in love.
Katie makes Bet promise that she will stop her violent ways. It seems like Bet actually listens to what someone has to say about her for the first time in the series and tries to improve herself afterwards.
Once again, the Sykes sisters don't fail to show their Undying Loyalty to their friend Lord Harwood, even though they're unable to change the outcome as John Salt takes over the Raven Union and has Harwood gunned down. Then they show up at his funeral, and later utterly thrash Salt for what he did.
Bet gives a big hug to Alfred after freeing him at the Raven Union's headquarters, still remembering Esme.
Alfred eventually drops his Team Switzerland mindset and fights as a Colonel of the English League in the end.
Thomas and Martha get married by PM Aziz during the Darkest Hour. Then Martha gives birth... to a baby girl.
