Everything I know now, the ground beneath my feet, the sky above, and this girl by my side... Everything is a lie. But I’m willing to reside in this vanity and pray that it would continue forever.

  • After centuries of torment, the Sakura Samsara story gives Sakura the happy ending she wanted: having a peaceful life in the village with Kallen, even if it's only inside the "Stigmata Space" she's in. Even when it's shaken up by the incident in the Celestial Castlenote , in the end, they get to be together again. She even passes off Kallen's offer to use the Jizo Mitama sword to manifest herself in the real world, saying that being with Kallen here is already enough.
  • As it turns out, Himeko and Theresa knew the whole time that Kiana isn't the real Kiana, but a clone. They don't care anyway—she's their precious friend/student/adopted niece/surrogate daughter and they'll move heaven and earth to make sure she's safe, even if it means betraying Schicksal, joining forces with Anti-Entropy or outright sacrificing their lives to do it.
  • Chapter 9-EX: Theresa, Mei and Bronya arrive in Arc City to obtain Intel on Kiana's whereabouts from the Gray Serpent only for the mission to turn south when they find him murdered by Rita. The one who convinces Theresa to continue the mission is Bronya. Having had her will robbed and forced to fight her friends herself, Bronya is determined to find Kiana and be there for her, irritated as she may often be with her.
Bronya: The Bronya understands the feeling of being manipulated and controlled by others. Subject Kiana is experiencing the same. The Bronya must rescue Subject Kiana at all costs.
  • Bronya and Seele's Big Damn Reunion near the end of Chapter 11-6, complete with hug and happy tears from both Seele andBronya.
  • In Chapter 11-EX, Kiana is at her lowest, and considered committing suicide to prevent herself to become a Herrscher again. Fu Hua's spirit stops her, saying that she regrets having doomed Kiana to this fate (from what happened at the end of Chapter 6). Kiana, who previously was hard on Fu Hua for betraying her, goes to forgive the class president and accept her help in subduing the HOV inside her mind; with their efforts, they eventually succeed. Then, when she finds herself being surrounded by Honkai Beasts, Kiana sees an "image" of Himeko walking past her as Amazing Freaking Grace plays, saying "Kiana, what are you waiting for?" This gives the Kaslana girl her Heroic Resolve to assume partial control of her Herrscher powers with her own mind and trash the beasts with it, as she vows to "turn this imperfect world into what she always dreamed of". Fu Hua is rightfully impressed at her feat.
  • The final cutscene for Chapter 12 has Bronya, Seele, and the Olenyeva twins walking towards the sunrise together, prancing in joy for finally being together after so long, and ready to face the future. It's also symbolized with their clothes changing into the ones they had in the past.
  • In the "Meteoric Salvation" animated short that's tied to Chapter 14's end, as Kiana's body starts breaking down from being overwhelmed by the bomb's Honkai energy, Himeko's ghost appears beside Kiana, making the latter reminisce about her late mentor's final lesson and double down on her efforts to grab the bomb, which culminates in her gaining full control over the Herrscher of the Void's powers.
Kiana: Yeah. I... promised you! I will end this wretched story... [Speaking in unison with Himeko's ghost] the way we've always wanted!
  • Despite the tragedies she has faced through as a young child, Sora still manages to keep a positive attitude and view of the world. She keeps her hopes of going to a better place in the outside world. It helped that Raven saved her and took care of her (and her fellow refugees). Additionally, Sora and the other refugees show that there's still a good side to Raven despite being a member of the World Serpent. And Raven is also grateful at Mei's kind attitude towards the refugee kids, that it helped them to know that kind strangers do exist.
  • At the very end of the "Lament of the Fallen" animated short, Mei, after defeating Kiana in a bitter battle of Herrschers, grabs the latter's hand as she falls, echoing their first meeting where it was Kiana who reached out to a suicidal Mei's hand instead. Despite the circumstances that lead her to join the antagonistic World Serpent organization, Mei still very much cares for Kiana, acknowledging that she'll do anything to save the latter from her fate.
Mei: You reached out your hand to me on that day. You changed my destiny from the moment we touched. You're the most important person in my life. If rescuing you is a sin, then I'll gladly become a sinner. Farewell, Kiana.
  • One of the "Full Feast" stories during the 2021 New Year event has Himeko and Durandal sharing memories of their intensive training under Captain Ragna. When they are interrupted by Rita, mentioning her name actually causes Rita to lose her composure for the briefest of moments (although Himeko does notice), and Himeko and Durandal share a good laugh about their mutual experiences as they leave the training facility to join the other Valkyries for the feast.
  • In the second act of Chapter 23, when Kiana and Seele return to the Salt Lake Base after investigating some strange phenomenons in a city, an unnamed Anti-Entropy staff greets both of them and Kiana gives the staff a strange theater ticket from the mission for further investigation, only for the staff to call Kiana as the Herrscher of the Void. Seele tells the staff that Kiana is her friend and the leader of this mission. The staff then tells Kiana that she always wanted to thank Kiana for her act of heroism back in Chapter 13 and 14. Kiana responds to the staff that she only did what she should have done, but the staff replies that she is the hero of Arc City and the people who saw her heroism won’t forget that. Seele then reassures Kiana that other Anti-Entropy staff also speaks highly of her; while some are still afraid of her, there are some who are willing to understand her situation.
  • Chapter 25: Himeko and Kiana's final conversation, with Himeko comforting Kiana and encouraging her to move forward.
  • Even though it's tinged in bittersweet-ness due to her amnesia, Durandal fighting side by side with Kiana in Chapter 28 is this with the reveal that Durandal is actually the original Kiana, meaning that she's been fighting alongside her younger clone sibling the entire time. Even besides the whole reveal that the two were family all along, them working so well together also shows how considerably the girls' relationship and mutual respect has improved from their first meeting, with them now even sharing a high-five before their final battle with Otto.
The crisp clap spoke loudly of their mutual trust and shared confidence. I'm leaving my back to you. Without even saying this, they understood each other perfectly. Not that they shared the same motivation. Not that they shared the same sentiment either. But these were not important... The important thing was, their paths finally converged on this special day. The important thing was, the stars bearing their fates, were now shining brilliantly together in the heavens.
  • Chapter 32: 2 years after their painful separation in "Lament of the Fallen" first aired, Kiana and Mei finally reunite in the Sea of Quanta when Mei catching Kiana when she was falling, and they embrace each other with gentle smiles on their faces. For a moment, it feels like they went back to their innocent selves before tragedy drove them apart, and the narration even notes that with all their yearning for each other, they were never truly apart.
    Mei: I'm back, Kiana.
    Kiana: Welcome back, Mei.
    • Afterwards, the couple reunites with Bronya, and even the smaller girl momentarily breaks her usual stoic composure when she greets Mei again.
Mei: Long time no see, Bronya.
    Bronya: Mei...it's been a while.
  • Basically the entirety of the animated short "Graduation Trip" is this, given that it is a heartfelt sendoff to Kiana (and the players) as we see the conclusion of her story arc.
    • The Herrschers of Dominance and Corruption and Otto himself briefly appear and congratulate Kiana at reaching the end. Then, all three of them agree that their time has passed and they disappear.
    • Even Sirin makes a brief comeback to compliment Kiana for making it this far.
    • Kiana then spends what little time she has left with Mei, Bronya, Theresa, and Fu Hua exploring an ideal dreamworld where everybody, including Raven, Durandal, Rossweisse, Seele, Anti-Entropy, the Flame-Chasers, Sakura, the Kaslanas, and Sirin are living happy, peaceful lives.
    • Right before she heads off to confront the Cocoon of Finality, Kiana has a brief vision of her friends as they first appeared in St. Freya Academy, as well as Himeko to give her a final send off.
    • Throughout the video, Kiana cycles through the various battlesuits and uniforms she has worn over the course of the game, including Herrscher of Finality, Herrscher of Flamescion, Herrscher of the Void, and White Moonbeam up until she ends up in her original battlesuit, White Comet.
    • Finally, Kiana encounters a younger version of herself who has stumbled in the snow. She helps her younger self back to her feet and wordlessly encourages her to keep moving forward, before forging ahead on her own path towards the Moon to fulfill her destiny.
