  • In the second volume, Relie sets up a competition where any girl who manages to take a certain document from Lux, within a time limit, will get exclusive access to him for a week. This leads to every girl in the entire school chasing after Lux. They go to every length imaginable to try and catch him, with Lisha resorting to blatant Loophole Abuse (Drag-Rides can't be used, but Lisha remote-controls a special Drag-Ride to catch Lux, arguing that it doesn't count since she's not wearing it). Then Krulcifer makes them all look like idiots by succeeding through an extremely simple tactic: changing the hands of a clock so that Lux thinks the competition is over and willingly lets go of the document.
    • How Lux escapes Lisha is also hilarious: he tells her that, if he lets him go, he'll give him the document. Lisha lets him go - and Lux hightails it out of there, much to Lisha's shock.
  • Celis has a Running Gag of practicing her talking skills by talking to things that aren't people. She does this with a cat in her first appearance, then a doll, then a bird, and then her own reflection in a mirror.
  • When returning to Ymir in Volume 7, Krulcifer deliberately allows Alterize to think that she (Krulcifer) and Lux are officially lovers and having sex all the time (specifically, she says that they spend time together every night). Alterize is stunned and can't believe it, so she asks Lux for confirmation. Since she doesn't explicitly use words related to sex, Lux thinks that she's asking about Krulcifer tutoring him and not only confirms it but says that Krulcifer is very good (at teaching) and that they're doing "it" all over the school.
  • While Lux and Krulcifer are heading to Ymir, the other members of the main cast want to join them as well. Relie refuses, pointing out they make up a significant part of the country's military power and says that she has to do the responsible thing and keep them here, even if they hate her for it. Then Philuffy pouts and says that she hates Relie for this. Relie immediately panics and goes back on her word, allowing Philuffy and the others to leave.
  • Lux's awkward responses to Mel's advances cause Krulcifer to wonder if he has a weakness for little girls. He vehemently denies this, but word of this eventually manages to reach the Academy, with one of Lux's admirers offering to introduce him to her younger sister.
  • During Volume 8, Celis acts strangely around Lux due to being confused about her feelings for him, but he and Lisha aren't sure why. This causes Mel (who's only just met Lisha and Celis, and hasn't known Lux for much longer than that) to complain about how slow they are.
  • As part of an event, Celis receives the "punishment" of having to kiss Lux. She initially runs away in embarrassment but eventually resolves to go through with it. Lux expects that she'll just give him a kiss on the cheek or something, only for Celis to push him down on the sofa, lie on top of him and give him a lengthy French kiss. It's so intense that Lux literally faints. The other girls are so shocked that they don't even interrupt, with the exception of Yoruka, who told Celis that this was the way to kiss someone.
  • In an attempt to raise Lux's opinion of her, Lisha tries to find out his favorite food so that she can cook it for him. She asks their mutual friends while trying to be discreet, but several of them easily figure out her true purpose. Eventually, she settles on a type of stew after seeing Lux making it and goes to great effort to learn to cook this type of stew. She presents said stew to him... and he does the exact same to her. It turns out that he was making it for Lisha, having seen her being busy the past few days and thinking that she might get hungry.
  • Volume 9 revolves around Lux and Philuffy infiltrating the Heiburg Republic with the cover story of being a newlywed couple. Relie is as enthusiastic about this as you might expect, with Lux complaining about how she's mixing a mission of national importance with private matters. Philuffy also takes to the role with gusto, albeit with her own quirks (like "preparing a meal for her husband" by grabbing a pile of food from a buffet and presenting it to him).
  • While Airi and the Triad are having a conversation, Yoruka steps out of a healing pod in front of them, without a stitch of clothing. She speaks without any regard for her state of undress, causing the others to get a case of Stupid Sexy Flanders (and, in Airi's case, envy for her chest size). Yoruka casually says that they don't need to worry, as they are all suitable for being Lux's concubines. Airi naturally has an even stronger reaction to this than the Triad, only for Yoruka to reassure her that marriages among blood-related siblings aren't uncommon among royalty.
  • Aeril, despite being a prisoner at the end of the thirteenth volume, repeatedly and shamelessly hits on Lux, asking him to feed her and change her clothes. This greatly annoys the other girls, who point out that they have a pact not to try and advance their relationships with Lux until the current crisis is over. Aeril brazenly declares that she knows about the pact but doesn't care since she's an outsider. Lisha ends up forcing her to join the pact as well.
  • At the end of Volume 16, Lux is too fixated on the revelation that Alma is Lisha's supposedly dead little sister to remember that he accidentally walked in on two bathing girls. Aeril reminds him by splashing him with hot water.
  • In Volume 17, Lux decides to go through another Baptism in order to get a special ability, but is embarrassed when he's required to take his clothes off. Aeril tells him this is payback for seeing the girls naked in the bath earlier.
  • In Volume 18, Lux is defeated by Lisha but is taken by his allies to a shelter to recover. Rosa's idea of helping him recover is to hug him in his sleep and give him Marshmallow Hell, while both are naked. Even more embarrassingly, most of Lux's allies walk in on this situation, and while some of them are angry, they also remark that they're used to seeing him in these ecchi moments. The best part is that the illustration for this event shows Airi giving a Death Glare.
