    The LeafGreen Run
  • A lot of the early parts of the run before Cerebus Syndrome kicks in.
    • All of Part 1, including, no, especially Professor Oak.
    • This exchange, when Locke meets the Shopkeeper.
Shopkeeper: Hey, you look like you're from Pallet Town!
Locke: (wearing a T-shirt and hat that say "PALLET TOWN" and holding two flags that say "I <3 PT" on them) What makes you think that?
    • When Spuds is still a Bulbasaur, Locke calls him "fatty" before going to the Pewter City gym. His response?
      Spuds learned Vine Whip! WAK!
  • Every time Locke defeats a gym leader, she puts on sunglasses, makes a pun, and instantly cuts to an epic sunrise, complete with "YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHH!!"
  • The Celadon City Shopping Montage:
Clerk: Excuse me ma'am, can I interest you in a doll?
Locke: SCREW THAT WOMAN, I'M BUYING TMS!
    • Meanwhile, the male Pokémon are stuck waiting outside for them.
Spuds: We shouldn't have let them go in.
      Broseph: Word.
Rick: (singing) Waitin' on a woman.
  • Rick at one point learns Rollout. Guess which song he sings for an entire battle later on? Pettyartist confirmed that this was the entire point of his nickname.
  • When Locke finds the Dark Glasses...
    • First, she tries to use them for a pun, only for Professor Oak to chime in.
Professor Oak: LOCKE, THIS ISN'T THE TIME TO USE THAT!
      Locke: HOLY MOTHER OF MEW!!
    • Second, she tries to give them to Barb to wear. Except she's too timid to wear them.
Barb: I... I feel silly wearing these...
Locke (offscreen): Just hold onto them then.
  • Lulu letting out her "latent frustration" in the Fighting Dojo...by way of Your Head Asplode.
Lulu: You don't know JACK about Butterfree!
  • When Locke has to get past the thirsty guard, instead of giving him plain water, she gives him "magic tea," in the next panel, he's completely smashed.
  • Part 9 riffs off of Gary quipping "Bonjour!" on the S.S. Anne with a spoof of The Treachery of Images, consisting of a picture of Gary captioned with "Ceci n'est pas une douchebag."

    The HeartGold Run
  • Locke's antics in Violet City.
    • First, she and Quincy enter Sprout Tower, where all the monks only use Bellsprout. They look at each-other, and in the next scene...
      "Well, that was easy."
    • Then, Locke takes on Falkner, who fully expects her to use Electric types on him. Locke then sends out Broseph, resulting in the scene pictured.
  • And then I'll use that money... To buy WEED!
    • Which is an absolutely brilliant Shout-Out to the Team StarKid musical Starship.
    • When asked if he ever got his weed, the grunt explains he was hospitalized, but shows that he got "RX Medical Weed."
  • After the Legendary Beasts awaken, Morty gets a call and informs the person calling him of the situation. It's a serious moment, but it ends with Morty getting flustered when the call ends and having to awkwardly say "I love you too" before blushing after Locke acknowledges him. Even better, it turns out the caller was Eusine, who confirms he and Morty are dating.
  • When Locke sees a Nidoran in HG, a sailor moon Shout-Out (complete in a art-style parody) occurs out of nowhere. Locke then realizes what she's doing, followed by a Smash Cut.
  • Locke discovers Team Rocket's Mahogany Town HQ by pushing a hidden button under a flier, showing Team Rocket hasn't learned a thing.
  • When Lance and Locke send out their Pokémon to fight the Rocket Grunts...
Rocket Grunt 2: It's probably another rattata that's tripped the wire. It's so sensiti-
(They see Lance, Locke, Dragonite, and Diva (Jigglypuff) ready to fight)
    Rocket Grunt 2: Nope.
Rocket Grunt 1: W-Wait! (After seeing the two of them ready to unleash some hell) Y-You guys are so screwed!! W-we're gonna tell Ariana and Petrel about you and they'll kick your butts.
(Rocket Grunt 1 also runs away)
  • The bizarre Voltorb in the Rocket Hideout who's channeling his inner Papyrus.
    • She also catches him by flying over his puzzle, causing him to freak out and accuse her of cheating.
    • When boxed, one of the Unown that Locke caught asks him if he wants to play a word scramble. He replies by saying he prefers crosswords, just like Papyrus.
