Fridge Brilliance
- One might notice that, in "Senpai", the titular character and Boyfriend never actually rap against each other, but they do so in "Roses" and "Thorns". This is because in "Senpai", he's just following his programming, and The Boyfriend winning triggers his Villainous Breakdown.
- During "Hello World" in Hex with Lyrics, when Hex sings about his talk show, the lyrics have him name off Pico and Whitty, but not Tricky, as he's simply referred to as "the clown". This is because he's learned their names from The Boyfriend during the lyrics of "RAM" because The Boyfriend never actually met Tricky.
- During the end credits sequence in "Week 7 (Tankmen) with lyrics", Sgt. John Captain calls RecD a "spineless algorithm gamer". While this might look like a random insult, one has to also consider that Tankman had crushed RecD with his tank - with bone-cracking sounds to add, potentially leaving him "spineless".
- Additionally, Sgt. John Captain might also be referring to the fact that RecD is spineless for hosting this video on Youtube where he could get a greater number of views, despite spending the whole video making Tankman complain how awful Youtube is.
- Week 5 WITH LYRICS spoilers: Carol being a guardian angel who can only visit earth to prevent disaster (and play golf) seems to conflict with several of her appearances throughout Friday Night Funkin mods... until you remember the people she tends to hang out with. Her best friend is the daughter of the comically evil Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest, her ex and housemate is a radical communist (who indeed robs and is implied to have killed several high-class businessmen in the Holiday mod), her boyfriend is quite literally a walking doomsday device, and her best friend's boyfriend is a Weirdness Magnet who can't seem to stay out of conflict.
- Fridge Heartwarming: During Garcello WITH LYRICS, Boyfriend does a complete 180 on his decision not to smoke when he sees that one of Garcello's cigarettes is red. Garcello expresses surprise at this and Boyfriend says that he REALLY likes the color red. Now look at Girlfriend, who has red hair and wears a red dress. Boy friend sure does love red, doesn't he?
- Pointed out by a comment on the original video: when Bob assumes his "Hell Bob" form, he tells Boyfriend (who keeps calling him by the name of his rival OC "Boyfiend") that he'll show him who he really is. During "run" he rapidly quotes his FNF Mod Wiki page and some quotes from his ARG, at a speed Boyfriend says is so fast he has to read the subtitles to understand it. In other words, he's literally showing Boyfriend who he is.
- In the Sonic.EXE meets Tankman
short, when the latter tries to fight the titular demon with his tank, Sonic.EXE easily wrecks it. If one pays close enough attention, he bounces on the tank exactly eight times before it explodes, the exact same amount of hits needed to defeat most bosses in the original Sonic trilogy.
Fridge Horror
- Does Carol remember her best friend pretty much betraying her trust and reseting time when Boyfriend died to the Monster? Or did the Girlfriend just spit in the face of her own friend and Heaven itself and get away with it?
- Similarly, the fact that she covers up the Spirit's horrible fate is very questionable, especially considering Boyfriend was actually going to help him.
- On a similar note, the Boyfriend trying to justify how the Dearests treated Whitty comes off as Victim-Blaming considering that they pushed him to literally blow up and likely kill people. What the Hell, Hero indeed.
- It's never outright said, but Pico's "Saving your bacon or cooking it." line likely means he was still hired to kill the Boyfriend and only stopped when he saw who his target was. The only levity is that he isn't trying to humiliate the Boyfriend here.
- Remember the gag in Week 7 in with the Dearests teleport all the guns to Hating Simulator? Pretty funny, however Mommy Mearest says that they put everything that hurts their daughter into the game. Then this troper suddenly remembers about the Spirit.... and if to take Mommy Mearest's words into consideration, his horrible fate might just be well-earned.
