- Lethal Lava Land: Volcano Rock City is this in a nutshell. Deconstructed as the lava flow has a negative impact on the farms that the Rock Trolls rely on.
- Liberty Over Prosperity: It's mentioned that the Rock Trolls have the most freedom and following laws ain't their strong suit which has resulted in unfortunate incidents such as the underground university collapse.
- My Hair Came Out Green: At one point before Barb became queen, she dyed her hair green. Subverted as this was intentional.
- Nothing Is Scarier:
- It's mentioned that the Disco Trolls died out at one point before Princess Barbara. Nothing is mentioned about what happened to them.
- It's mentioned by Word of God that the Rock Trolls don't usually leave the volcanoes because of an international incident that resulted in a lot of them dying. What this incident was remains unknown at the moment.
- Saving the World: Barb recaps the Ancient Trolls taking back the Strings as this.Barb: Yeah, yeah, six strings, pop trolls took them all, we saved the world, the end.
- Truly Single Parent: Thrash notes that he's an only parent and never had interest in a partner in Princess Barbara.
