A Small Blue Pocket Universe Learns About Herself, Love, Her Friends, And Also Whole Foods
is a A-Force fanfiction by road_trip_girl, which can be read on Archive of Our Own. It consists of three chapters and an epilogue, and was completed in 2022.
Singularity questions her sexuality, and after talking it over with Nico Minoru on a trip to New York City, realizes that she is lesbian while Nico discovers her bisexuality. They start to date, and learn things about themselves and alternate selves that open the pathways to healing.

- Affectionate Nickname: Sometimes the A-Force calls Captain Marvel "Captain", and Nico calls her "Cap".
- Amazon Brigade: As in A-Force, the A-Force are made up of strong and utterly badass female superheroes.
- Amusing Alien: Singularity provides most of the fic's humor because she doesn't understand what men are, and Nico explains it badly.
- Artificial Limbs: As in canon, Nico has a metal arm to replace the one she lost in Murderworld.
- Barbie Doll Anatomy: Justified, deconstructed, and reconstructed. Singularity is noted to have no genitalia or nipples, but she does have breasts probably because she wouldn't have a use for human reproductive organs as a shapeshifting pocket universe. She actually has self-doubt over whether she actually is a girl because Nico describes a girl as someone with a vagina, but comes to the conclusion that there is more to being a girl than your privates, and she feels most comfortable identifying as a girl. She actually tries shifting into Black Bolt, but she is disgusted by her appearance after looking at a picture of herself.
- Being Tortured Makes You Evil: Implied. Nico states what she endured in Murderworld made her do things that she regrets.
- Coming-Out Story: Downplayed. While the fic is more about Singularity understanding herself in human terms, she does come out to the rest of the A-Force, who readily accept her and Nico.
- The End: The third chapter ends with a "Fin", though there is an epilogue afterwards.
- Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Its full title is A Small Blue Pocket Universe Learns About Herself, Love, Her Friends, And Also Whole Foods which is a summary of the entire fic.
- Experienced Protagonist: Justified. Singularity was a superhero in Battleworld as part of the A-Force, so she is an experienced superhero here.
- Hair Memento: Medusa gave Singularity a lock of her hair before she died defending Battleworld.
- Not Under the Parents' Roof: Downplayed. Carol is one of Singularity's mother figures, and she asks her and her girlfriend Nico to not have sex in the apartment while she's there.
- I Don't Like the Sound of That Place: Singularity immediately notes that nothing good could have came from a place called "Murderworld" after Nico mentions it.
- Intimate Hair Brushing: Singularity likes it when Nico braids her hair, and Nico uses the time after to ask Singularity about Battleworld.
- She Is the King: As in A-Force, She-Hulk ruled as the Baron of Arcadia.
- Slash Fic: Justified. Nico is canonically bisexual and Singularity isn't shown having a definite romantic interest in anyone in A-Force, though she does have plenty of Ship Tease with the female characters (which is most of them).
