Darth Wiki / Moonronpa: Neo Bunker Game

Go To

Moonronpa: Neo Bunker Game is a crossover Danganronpa fan-roleplay run on Discord by a user named Moon.

It features a cast of 17 (later 20) characters from all sorts of media, trapped within an underground bunker with the only way out being the typical Danganronpa method of murder followed by getting away with it. The Doorronpa Trilogy is set after this roleplay, retroactively making it a prequel to that series.

As a general note, all spoilers have been left unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

  • Accidental Murder: Seiko didn't intend to kill Miu with her medicine, but the inventor's body had an extreme reaction to it regardless.
    • An even earlier example is with Big and Bea in chapter one.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Yang attempts to interfere in Ema's execution and loses her right arm for her troubles.
  • Arc Words: Generally, any time the word "Gift" is mentioned, it turns out to be relevant to the plot.
  • Captain Obvious Reveal: "Dr. K" is actually Korekiyo Shinguuji. Most of the players didn't guess this.
  • Driven to Suicide: Kazuichi, after Teruteru's death. Nikei tries to stop him, and gets shot for his troubles.
  • Forced into Evil: Pretty much all of ERROR, except for Yang.
  • Go Out with a Smile: Right before he kills himself, Kazuichi smiles to the rest of the group, and to Dr. K in particular, as he defiantly states that Dr. K has no power over him.
  • Hostile Show Takeover: During Chapter Two's epilogue, Dr. K decides to hijack the Killing Game, forcing Miu, Kazuichi and Teruteru into the Killing Game to further his own ambitions.
  • Idiot Hair: Yang. Yamato also has an ahoge under his hat. Miu has two.
  • The Lost Lenore: Homura and later Nikei to Yamato, and Ema to Yang, among others.
  • My Greatest Failure: Yang's failure to save Ema is generally what she considers hers.
  • Regretful Traitor: Those in ERROR are generally shown as sympathetic.
  • Rickroll: Dr. K turns out to be quite the prankster at the end of chapter 3- this is the "truth" he promised the subjects if they committed murder.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Yamato Kisaragi, who is the final victim of his canon game, ends up surviving the Neo Bunker Game. Nikei's in a gray area here as well.
  • Shipper on Deck: Nikei and Yamato, towards Yang and Ema. They end up being right, even making a bet over when they'll get together. Yamato wins.
  • Tragic Keepsake: Kazuichi gives his hat to Mikan before his death.
  • Wham Episode: Chapter four, big time. Ema- one of the most optimistic and helpful characters in the cast- is revealed to be both an ERROR and the killer of Teruteru, and Yang, her then-girlfriend, loses her arm trying to save her.
