Kimberly Anne Walker (June 19, 1968-March 6, 2001) was an American actress.
Kim Walker is best known for her acclaimed portrayal of Heather Chandler in the 1988 dark Comedy Heathers, which has become a Cult Classic. She arguably influenced many future mean girls in movies and though largely forgotten, she remains one of the earliest on-screen mean girls, having made her character more than just an 80s mean girl. “Mythic Bitch” Heather Chandler and her glorious hair have been influencing Popular Culture for many years.
While filming Heathers, she was dating her co-star Christian Slater, however he also had feelings for Winona Ryder. Kim was best friends with Jennifer Aniston whom she had known since High school.
Kim dreamed of becoming a Hollywood star one day, however, her career was cut short when Kim died of a Brain Tumor at the age of 32. When Heathers was released, it was a flop and didn’t gain its Major Cult Following or Musical until after Kim died, so tragically she never got to see what the movie came to mean to so many people, or how her character (played by a relatively unknown actress) influenced the world today.
