Miles Burton

An arms dealer who fought alongside Frankie in Vietnam. He's sad Frankie lost his way, but wants to avenge his death. His sister, Lou, runs their father's failing dojo, where he keeps the lights on with his gun-running.
- Fire-Forged Friends: He tells Winston that it's not so much that they were friends, but that they saved each others' lives so many times they were bound, forever.
- Guys Smash, Girls Shoot: Inverted. Miles is far more comfortable with guns and doesn't spend much time engaging hand to hand.
- Manly Tears: He weeps while sharing with Yen a memory of peace during the war where he and Frankie got to listen to the Ali-Frazier fight and didn't have to fight.
- Secret-Keeper: He knew his father was a gun for hire and kept it from sister Lou so she wouldn't have her view of her dad ruined.
- Shell-Shocked Veteran: Vietnam was hard on him, though not as hard as with some other veterans. He does what he can to take care of others.
Lou Burton

Miles's little sister, she's determined to keep their father's dojo open and, though she agrees to help with the plot to take down Cormac, she initially declines to join the fight itself.
- Action Girl: Her father trained her extensively in martial arts and she's quite the badass.
- Broken Pedestal: She's heartbroken to learn that her father wasn't actually the principled man he claimed to be, but an assassin for the Continental.
- Daddy's Girl: She adores their father, following his stated philosophy of Does Not Like Guns and struggling to keep his dojo open.
- Does Not Like Guns: Following her father's philosophy, she refuses to use guns. She'll use any other lethal weaponry, but not guns.
- Guys Smash, Girls Shoot: Inverted. Lou Does Not Like Guns until the very end and is the brawler of the pair.
Lemmy

A former veteran, like Miles, he was lost after the war until Miles gave him a home.
- Undying Loyalty: He declares to Lou that he loves Miles for rescuing him and giving him a home and a purpose.
Gene Jenkins
Portrayed By: Ray McKinnon

An old friend of Lou's and Miles's father, he's an aging assassin who used to have a regular suite at the Continental.
- Age Insecurity: He initially refuses to admit that his eyesight is getting worse due to advanced age, until Miles plays him and gets him to join the crew and, among other things, promise to get glasses.
- Glasses of Aging: At first he insists to Miles that there's something wrong with the scope on his rifle, then refuses Miles's quick test to read the serial number on a twenty. He only agrees to get glasses as part of his desperate bid to get in on the crew.
- Honorary Uncle: Lou and Miles refer to him as Uncle Gene, a friend of their father's.
- Jumped at the Call: He's so eager to get back in the game that he falls for Miles Briar Patching him in seconds.
- White-Dwarf Starlet: Once upon a time he was a respected insider at the Continental. Now he's an older man with failing eyesight who hunts random pedophiles as an outlet. Miles plays him to get him on the crew by pretending to refuse to let him join the crew, leading Gene to insist on joining the crew and even promising to go to an optometrist.
Yen Scott
Portrayed By: Nhung Kate
Appearances: The Continental
Frankie's wife, who he met in Vietnam. She's determined to get revenge for his death.
- Tsundere: She kicks a lot of ass and spends a lot of time incredibly angry at Frankie's death. Since she knows how much danger they're in, she introduces herself to Winston by half-lynching him in her and Frankie's movie theater. However, this is mostly due to understandable fear at their predicament and, later, grief. She has a softer side that she reveals to Miles.
- Wartime Wedding: She and Frankie met in Vietnam, got married, and Miles helped get her into the states.
Ronnie
Portrayed By: Chris Ryman

Charlie's right hand man, he was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and now he smuggles goods and people using that skill.
