The Thief “Tia”
- Ambiguously Brown: Has dark/olive skin yet is given no indications what her ethnic background could be.
- Badass in a Nice Suit: Diamond thief extraordinaire who pulls off some pretty impressive feats of athleticism in a spiffy suit.
- Bifauxnen: She's a cute young lady with Boyish Short Hair and who spends much of her screentime in a nice suit.
- Butch Lesbian: She was originally going to have a girlfriend in the short film and is a very masculine-presenting woman.
- Determinator: Going by the lyrics, “No I won’t settle down until I’m locked behind bars or I’m kicked out of town!”

- Her appearance is a combination of Osamu Tezuka’s Rock Holmes and Princess Knight.
- She’s essentially a younger female version of Lupin III.
- Genki Girl: She definitely has her moments but Downplayed as she seemed to have a normal conversation at the beginning of the video.
- Good All Along: As shown by the end of the animation.
- No Name Given: Although she’s referred to as “Thief” in the notes
she is never actually referred to as one in the music video or song. “Tia” is her temporary placeholder name given to by the creator. - Playboy Bunny: Wears two different sets in the sketches suggesting she may also be a performer.
- Rollerblade Good: If she wasn’t already a master of agility and quick escape her Heely-skating certainly increases the chance of achieving her goals.
- Samus Is a Girl: A strange example as the thief was always designed to be a girl, however many people in the comment section thought she looked like a guy however her eyelashes and rounder face are rather feminine.
- She Cleans Up Nicely: Looking at the notes it certainly seems like she does! Even when not dressing so femininely she still looks quite dashing in her waitresses’ suit.
- Super-Reflexes: A quick-thinker and fast on her skates, she is not the easiest criminal to catch. She’s even dodged gun bullets being pelted at her!
- Tomboy: She dresses in a suit as a waitress and has a rather short haircut.
- Tomboy with a Girly Streak: In concept art she wears a variety of dresses, high heels and jewelry.
- Villain Protagonist: Subverted when it’s revealed her intentions all along were to stop a bombing.
- Womanchild: She's said to be around 19-21 but has the soul of a 13-year-old.
The Detective
- Expy:
- Has got the looks, occupation, and personality of Inspector Koichi Zenigata from Lupin III.
- Hero Antagonist: Being a detective is seems his only goal is to get the diamond back from the thief not knowing her true intentions.
- The Stoic: Seems that way at first but quickly Averted, he gets angry, tired, and you can even see his stress!
