"Here he is! Your BORN KING!"

  • The opening scene. Mordred has summoned gigantic War Elephants with Black Magic and tears through the kingdom of Camelot with them. It's seemingly the Darkest Hour... until King Uther Pendragon steps in on his own, just armed with Excalibur. A single strike of the sword inside Mordred's elephant's platform kills everyone inside, Mordred and the summoners included, and it causes all of the summoned elephants to collapse into dust instantly.
    • Perhaps the best part of this scene is the story behind the music. Originally written by composer Gareth Williams for the "We Are ODST" ad for Halo 3: ODST, "The Life" has been sought after by Halo fans for years. Unfortunately, Microsoft owned the license and weren't interested in releasing it to the public, so people had to make do with shoddy edits of the commercial itself. Guy Ritchie loved the song so much that he demanded its use in the movie, and it was finally featured on the film's soundtrack.
  • Whenever Arthur goes One-Man Army with Excalibur, blowing dozens of mooks away in single strikes with it.
    • Particularly the second time, where we get a much clearer view of everything does during the supercharged assault. He takes down most of the Blacklegs coming after him, then gives the rest a look as if to say, "Who wants next?". They lay their swords down.
  • The Mage summons a giant snake to help Arthur gain the upper hand on Vortigern's forces in the throne room.
  • King Uther Pendragon's Dying Moment of Awesome (revealed towards the end in a flashback), denying Vortigern access to Excalibur by turning himself into the stone the sword ends up being stuck in.
  • The Lady of the Lake helping Arthur to harness the powers of Excalibur, something he had real troubles to do before. Then he gives a Mighty Roar when brandishing the sword, as he's now in harmony with it.
  • The final duel between Arthur and Vortigern. While Arthur's supporters storm Camelot and fight off Vortigern's army, he marches into the newly completed mage tower to confront his uncle. The tower is whisked off to a watery cliffside where Vortigern attacks him in his dark magic form. At first Vortigern overcomes Arthur rather easily, and just when it looks like it's game over Arthur is granted one final vision by Excalibur of his father speaking to him, encouraging him to pick up the sword and keep fighting. Cue the Heroic Second Wind and an epic beatdown as Arthur proceeds to demolish Vortigern in a second round before running him through with Excalibur. As his evil uncle expires, Arthur then uses one more burst of power to bring the tower down.
  • If we ignore all the cool sword fighting and a lot of magic usage, we get Arthur's primary weapon seen in extensive action: His brain. Before he even met them, Art was able to figure out exactly what the Barons were going to say, nearly word for word and he is able to figure out his strategy from there on how to lure out Vortigern without a fight.
