Genocide Jack will crash through the window of a moving monorail to save Master.

  • A very understated one, but the fact that Komaru managed to stay sane despite spending a year and a half imprisoned in an apartment, with no human interaction beyond food being delivered to her door. She narrates about this while joking around and speculating about how easy it is to adapt, and even says her morning routine includes pounding on the door demanding to be let out. Sure, she's still sad and wants to escape, but the fact that she's kept it together for so long when a lot of other people would've cracked or completely given up is astounding.
  • Komaru opening the elevator in the prologue to reveal Byakuya Togami, who then proceeds to take down the Monokuma robot chasing her. Kind of an improvement from the last game, huh?
  • In Chapter 2, Toko giving a Dare to Be Badass speech to Komaru that doubles as a "The Reason You Suck" Speech to Haiji after learning that the Resistance isn't living up to its name.
  • Komaru is in danger on a rooftop - cue the one, the only, our favourite genocidal nutjob - Toko... or, Genocide Jack, at least, who proceeds to murder many a Monokuma robot. Ultimately it ends with a Flawless Death Count for Genocide Jack and the Monokumas have a body count of zero in this fight.
  • At the end of Chapter 3, Genocide Jack preventing Kotoko's execution. Bear in mind that this is the first time in the franchise that a human being has prevented an execution from happening.note
    • A bit earlier, we have Genocide Jack's rampage through the monorail to rescue Komaru.
  • Komaru standing up to Genocide Jack and convincing her not to kill Nagito, despite everything he did. After all, if Jack does, then Toko will never get to be a full Future Foundation agent, and probably end up jailed... and Toko's her precious friend!
  • Komaru and Toko destroying Big Bang Monokuma together.
  • Izuru punching right through Kurokuma and Shirokuma which are both embedded with a thick layer of steel. His hands even got shocked, but that didn't even phase him. To get Alter Ego Junko to shut up for good, he proceeds to rip out their motherboards, which are covered and held down by thick and strong layer of wires and most likely screws, out and then walked away like it was nothing. This moment is this, and Nightmare Fuel (imagine if that had been a human head instead).
  • Komaru herself goes through quite a transformation. Originally, after spending a year and a half as a prison, she's terrified and confused, with her only goal being to escape the city. Even after meeting Toko and the two of them working together, the situation feels too overwhelming for her since she's just an ordinary girl. As time goes on and the two of them bond, Komaru decides that continually referring to herself as normal is just an excuse. And when given the chance to escape Towa City, she refuses to leave Toko behind, since they're friends. By the end, she's managed to attain her own status as a heroine. Not the same kind of Hope Bringer as her brother, but as her own person. Best exemplified by her last exchange with Monaca.
Monaca: Monaca miscalculated...I overestimated you. Though I guess Monaca was not the only one. You thought too highly of yourself too. Monaca tried to imitate Big Sis Junko, you tried to imitate your brother. But in the end we both failed. Neither of us could live up to expectations.
Komaru: There's no way I could imitate him. And no way I'd want to. I am not my brother. Makoto is Makoto...and I am me.
