• So, we have baby Cindy battling Anonimo's Croconaw. It appears that it'll be a Curb-Stomp Battle in Croconaw's favor... up until Cindy gets angry and produces a Flamethrower so powerful it shoves Croconaw into a thick tree hard enough to make it crack in half and topple to the ground. It was enough to make Croconaw afraid to continue the battle so Anonimo could capture Cindy.
  • After her capture, Cindy wins her first battle, which was against a Venusaur.
• Alyssa decides to take a perpetually angry Pokémon of Mass Destrution/Broken Bird of a Cyndaquil from Professor Elm, and no matter what Cindy dishes out at her, Alyssa just takes it. Bringing Cindy down to Earth with a "Reason You Suck" Speech after the Pokémon's Blue Fire Frenzy injured a Squirtle takes the cake.
• Sammy the Squirtle risks his life to save a random human (who'd later become his trainer) from a murderous Pokémon. Even when he was afraid.
• Alyssa stops Blue Fire Frenzy! Multiple times!
  • Ash's Quilava does it too.
  • Quinn too.
  • No BFF stopping can top Ivy's. Even though she's a Grass Type and knows she'll be killed if she attempts to reason with Blaze, she goes in anyway. Not only does she survive, but she manages to talk Blaze out of it by convincing him that she was telling the truth about Dora.
• When Cindy is held hostage by a Pokemon gang, her friends plus Ash's Pokemon form a hilariously epic rescue mission.
  • On that note, Quilava battling the leader one-on-one.
• The only Gym Battle actually shown in the story.
• Jenna single-handedly rescuing an sick and wounded Cindy and breaking out of the prison base they were in. At a point where she's near the exit, she finds herself surrounded. What does she do? She blows a hole in the wall, and leaps over a canyon. She's still pretty spry for her age.
• Just about every evolution shown in the story.
  • Special mention to Cindy's evolution into Typhlosion and Jamie's evolution into Marsiblaze.
• Anonimo's comeuppance. All the readers were glad when he met his demise.
• Jamie managing to snap Malo!Ty's neck! It's awfully terrifying when he fixes it...
• The fusion of Quinn and Charlie, forming Quirlie. Both times.
  • Bonus points in their second time for outright leading the charge against Malo!Ty in order to stall until the red moon sets.
• Cindy learning Firestorm, and her uses of it afterward.
• Doubles as a Funny Moment: Amber manages to incapacitate Sombra, using stealth and Spray n' Scape.
• Though what happens after is a Tear Jerker, Cindy breaking the rope that tied her to the tree, and subsequently pushing Anonimo out of the way of a lightning strike and taking the bolt herself and surviving! Keep in mind that she's starved, sick, and recovering from an incident where she nearly drowned/froze in ice water, and yet she still manages to pull this off!
• Charlie preventing a fight between Diana and Quinn, and then subsequently telling her not to hurt his friend.
• Joey taking on a crazed Sombra by himself. Just to save his sister. That 'Mon's got guts!
• Amber, and her amazing whip-scarf that can shatter glass!
• Kudos for Copper, who wiped the floor with two Steelix as a Cyndaquil! Sure, he was in Blue Fire Frenzy, but still!
• Celebi, who pulled a Batman Gambit and Xanatos Speed Chess to ensure safety of civilians and the redemption of a Pokémon! She successfully convinced an injured Sombra to apologize to Cindy and Co. in exchange for her healing services. Then, when he demonstrates rudeness toward Trina's daughter, she quickly reworks the plan to him being given "niceness lessons." Once Amber was put to the task, Celebi just sat back and watched Amber successfully induce a Heel–Face Turn in Sombra! The only thing that led to problems was none other than Canela, who pushes Sombra into unleashed his Superpowered Evil Side and harm Amber, thus leading to bitterness on Amber and family's part. As of the most recent chapter, Celebi's working on patching things up, despite the fact that she has been captured. She succeeds.
• Charlie as a Charmander braving Blue Fire Frenzy of all things so he could rescue an unconscious Quinn from the crossfire.
• Joey defeating Emma in a battle. Considering her behavior toward him, her beatdown was well-deserved.
• Hailey effortlessly tossing a Pokémon larger than her to save a stranger. With her mouth.
• Celebi possessing a tree and making it kick the crap out of a Steelix and throw it a good distance. It's also a Funny Moment.
• Alyssa just grabbing Pelee and Dynamite after they roast Charlie's daisy bouquet that was to be given to Diana and then cursing in front of them, and then screaming a "Reason You Suck" Speech in their faces, absolutely terrifying them. What makes it better is that when Cindy comes onto the scene, she doesn't attempt to stop her, instead just asking Charlie what they did to tick her off.
• Willie catching a Bullet Seed in midair, and then flinging it back at the same speed it had been going.
• Joey is thrown into a pool. What does he do? He floats casually, much to the surprise of his opponent, Hasook. Keep in mind that Joe's a Fire Type and yet he just buoys himself like it's nothing!
  • And then when Hasook attacks him in the pool, Joey manages to pwn him underwater.
• Blaze in Blue Fire Frenzy manages to pwn nineteen Pokémon at the same time by launching himself into the air and firing a large Fire Blast at the group. The amazement that Cinnamon displays is not only funny, but quite accurate.
  • And then he just wipes the floor with all of them like it's nothing.
• Patch the Feraligatr's quick beatdown of a Grapunch (Fakemon).
• Ivy rescuing Sombra from drowning by way of Magikarp and Vine Whip.
• Belico the Jigglypuff successfully stabbing Willie and getting away with it.
• Mantle, despite his disadvantage against a Malonixed Rhydon, will not stay down. Even when he's badly injured, he gets up, marches toward Rhydon, and hurdles a Focus Blast and Aura Sphere in succession. Just to protect his Aunt Cindy, who is weak from laying her two eggs. He ends up being rewarded by way of evolution into Smodent.
• Willie showing off his Super-Speed. He was so fast, he was practically invisible.
• Copper showing off his Super-Strength, by way of lifting two uprooted trees (both large enough to crush him) off the ground, and effortlessly tossing one to Trina.
