* DivingKick: Although Watanuki is not a fighter and never gets in direct battles, this seems to be his signature hand-to-hand attack. The first time he saw Doumeki, he tried to clock him with a flying side kick (yet, perhaps naturally, failing and crashing), and in the ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'' movie, he tried the same move against the spirits summoned by the Collector (with the same results). Considering he is [[spoiler:an alternate version of Syaoran Li, a kung fu practitioner,]] Watanuki's instinctive preference for flying kicks might be a very subtle holdover from it.

Much of the comedy in the series comes from his over-the-top yelling and complaining about the crazy things he encounters or is forced to do against his will. It doesn't help that it some of his peers ''intentionally'' try to do things to set him off for their own amusement. This eventually diminishes as his character mellows out, though he remains easy to put into an irritated mood.
* HateAtFirstSight: The first time he saw Doumeki at school, Watanuki tried to physically attack him. Granted, Doumeki is explicitly said to be the kind of person Watanuki hates, but the exact reason of this reaction even before knowing him is never entirely explained.

While she enjoys making Watanuki's life difficult, she does prove to care about him, especially as she starts to take on more of a mentor role rather than that of a demanding master towards him.

Yuuko Ichihara's aides, two artificial beings who keep Yūko's shop in existence. They guide shop visitors to their mistress, and also perform various other tasks. Because they are soulless bodies, they cannot leave Yuuko’s shop. Their complete names are Marudashi and Morodashi.
