** A personal rule of Tagg's is to only fight force with appropriate force when in tournament settings, so he's normally willfully battling handicapped. For instance, he won't use Mega Evolution unless his opponent is also using it, and it's also why he tends to start regions with entirely new teams instead of using his old ones.

Since renouncing his former life, Wolf has fallen in love, been [[GenderBender genderbent]] (twice), caught several new Pokémon, [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking bought a book]], invented a device that allows trainers to communicate with their Pokémon inside their Pokeballs, been [[BodySwap Body Swapped]], and befriended a Latias. Since Wolf is no longer a trainer, preferring a life of adventure to one of challenging Gyms, and is not registered with any Pokémon League, he is not bound by the six Pokémon rule, although he still keeps some Pokémon in a PC Box.

* MixedAncestry: His father is a Togekiss, and as a result Doc has a tuft of hair on his head resembling a Togekiss' head spikes that's normally hidden by his fedora.

* StoneWall: While she can hit hard in the right circumstances, Yew mainly relies on her wool's defenses on top of having Fluffy to lessen damage from physical attacks ,and using Cotton Guard to buff her defenses further.
