* TheBrute: A very unconventional example since he doesn't look the type (specially when compared to [[DumbMuscle Attila]]), but he serves this role to the [[spoiler:Hellfire Club, being their physical powerhouse and their trump card against Dracula.]] For bonus points, he also uses [[DropTheHammer a hammer in combat]] and certainly has the [[AxeCrazy personality]] [[BloodKnight to match]].
* DropTheHammer: He wielded a magic hammer originally held by Satan himself.

* DamselOutOfDistress: Her being an DistressedDamsel is understandable since she is a lamia and rather weak compared to other denizens of Résurrection, with that said that doesn't stop her from displaying some badassness.

* WhipItGood: Her weapon of choice.

* MatzoFever: Jewish and very beautiful. Still, its another dark variant since she had a DestructiveRomance with with a ''Nazi'' and she keeps attracting the ''wrong'' [[VillainousCrush sort of attraction]] such as one depraved LesbianVampire and ''Count Dracula himself''.

* CriticalResearchFailure: InUniverse, he claims that his name is Russian for "vampire", except that is not even remotely true. Its either "vampyr" or "vurdalak".

* AffablyEvil: Barring his extremely lecherous attitude and having committed some really horrible atrocities to earn his place in Résurrection as a vampire. He is incredibly friendly towards Requiem at least and may genuinely means it.

* BandageBabe: Her initial outfit is nothing more than bandages.

* MsFanservice: Though not as blatantly and over-the-top like female vampires, Rebecca qualifies as she initially [[BandageBabe wrapped in bandages]] as a lamia, gets ocassionally stuffed in a revealing leather outfit and most of her appearances depict her almost or outright nude - it helps she is a very prominent female character. Its very ironic when you consider she died as a Holocaust victim and looked line one. [[DepravedBisexual Claudia]] lampshades her beauty in Volume 4:

* PoliticalCorrectnessGoneMad: Her speech is as PC as possible. Hookers are "pelvic labourer", dwarves are "vertically challenged", boobs are "fluid containers", girlfriend is "non-paid sex worker" and so forth.

* BeautyMark: Rebecca has a mole over her higher lip from Volume 3 forward.

* BadassMustache: An extremely long one, just like his real-life counterpart.

* EverythingsBetterWithMonkeys: Her favorite form is that of an mandrill. And [[BestialityIsDepraved Sabbat certainly likes her better in this form]].

* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: When told by Heirich to dress in a [[BlatantLies inconspicuous]] [[{{Stripperiffic}} vampire outfit]] (some [[OfCorsetsSexy corsets]], [[ZettaiRyouiki long boots]] and SttockingFiller), she is very embarrassed.

* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: Dracula is not a very well-liked figure to say the least. Its pointed out InUniverse that every nation surrounding his country despises him - the Lamias hate him for oppressing them, the Ghouls and the Dystopians are his political rivals who would like nothing more than replace him as dominant power. His own "son" Black Sabbat is plotting to overthrow him and has the support of a large number of vampires, meaning he is not very popular among his own people. He doesn't necessarily does much to endear himself to possible allies since he drives the Archaeologists away by maiming their high priest in his introductory scene and Requiem, who ironically wants to keep his distance from him, is dragged into the feud after Rebecca is forced to become Dracula's bride.

* EvilOverlord: Top-dog of a hellish world that makes {{Mordor}} look like daycare? Check. [[TinTyrant Clad in a scary and spiky armor?]] Check. Powerful beyond imagining and presented as evil incarnate? Check. Having such a [[ZeroPercentApprovalRating negative reputation]] that nearly every faction wants him dead? If that doesn't make him an textbook dark lord, nothing else will.

* TwentyFourHourArmor: He wears that spiky-red armor all the time, even in special occasions like a celebration ball. To be fair given how [[DeadlyDecadentCourt cutthroat the vampire elite is]], you can't fault him for being ProperlyParanoid.

* KarmaHoudini: A surprising aversion. Rather than becoming a part of Résurrection's DeadlyDecadentCourt, he was locked up in a coffin for all time until the right hour came. And then Dracula kills him.

* {{Adorkable}}: He is the closest thing to a nerd in Résurrection, and he acts the part too.

* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: When told by Heirich to dress in a [[BlatantLies inconspicuous]] [[{{Stripperiffic}} vampire outfit]] (some [[OfCorsetsSexy corsets]], [[ZettaiRyouiki long boots]] and {{stocking filler}}), she is very embarrassed.
* TechnicalVirgin: By Résurrection standards at least; despite having a sexual relationship with Heinrich, she is a "virgin" in the sense she never been bitten by a vampire before, which makes her highly valuable among them, as one ogre in Volume 5 offered to pimp her out to some vampires. The fact she already had sex before doesn't factor her "virginity" at all.

* VampiresHarem: Subverted. He still keeps his brides yes, but they are all "virgin" victims that have no being claimed. None of them are actual vampires.

A lone vampire encountered by Requiem after he decides to desert the vampires and save Rebecca. Becomes an very unlikely ally after running into him a few times and may be the closest thing to TheLancer that Requiem has.

* {{Revenge}}: Even in death, he seeks revenge for the ones responsible for Hiroshima and Nagasaki detonation.

* TokenWholesome: Oddly enough, in a comic where every female character is sexualized to some extent, whether its to provide {{Fanservice}} or FanDisservice, Perfidia stands out among them by the fact she never appeared nude in the story and wears merely a [[WomanInWhite white]] PimpedOutDress instead of fetish-leather outfit or bandages. When you consider that she might have been Elizabeth I, also known as the Virgin Queen, [[FridgeBrilliance it makes sense she would fit this trope]].

* ArchEnemy: To Rebecca, being the one who killed her in life and responsible for her presence in Résurrection, with his expiring being the only thing that would release. Otto certainly returns the sentiment and desires to further torment her.

* AmbiguouslyJewish: He is heavily implied to have been Jewish, since he is an Holocaust survivor, but not outright confirmed. Jews were not the only group persecuted by the Nazis during the Holocaust after all.

* DepravedBisexual: Due to his lover Aiwass having NoBiologicalGender. He has gone on record saying that he prefers her in her [[BestialityIsDepraved male mandrill form]].
* DivineDate: He is in a relationships with the goddess Aiwass.

* FantasyGunControl: He withholds technology from falling into the hands of the lower classes to not threaten the vampires' authority.

* {{Stripperiffic}}: Nero wears nothing more than a corset, a thong, ZettaiRyouki with StockingFiller and his BadassCape.

* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: When told by Heirich to dress in a [[BlatantLies inconspicuous]] [[{{Stripperiffic}} vampire outfit]] (some [[OfCorsetsSexy corsets]], [[ZettaiRyouki long boots]] and {{stocking filler}}), she is very embarrassed.

Once a brutal [[UsefulNotes/TheTeutonicKnights Teutonic knight]] who was secretly a Satanist, he fell into combat against orthodox Russians and ended up in Résurrection as a vampire. He thrived on chaos and conflict until he was expired for challenging Dracula's authority.

* FateWorseThanDeath: As result of getting Dracula's Dark Kiss, he became truly immortal and gained a powerful healing factor. After trying to get dethrone Dracula, he was sentenced to be forever torn apart without truly dying for a long time.

* HolierThanThou: Subverted. His RousingSpeech about crushing the orthodox Russians positively drips with this trope, but he is not truly devout like the werewolves in Résurrection are.

* TheLostLenore: Her death struck a horrendous blown to Heinrich while he was alive.
