* EverythingsBetterWithSpinning: Most of her attacks are preceded by her doing a pirouette. Her personal [[LimitBreak Galaxy Advance]] is created by arranging each card from the [=IceSpin=] series in sequence.

* SelectiveMagnetism: Magnes and Coil specialize in magnetism. This is bumped UpToEleven when Magnes is transformed into Spade Magnes.

As Jack Corvus he looks very much like Bass with Treble Boost, only with his normal colors, with elements of Bass.EXE, and has eye markings, like both incarnations of Bass . He also [[spoiler: faked friendship with Geo, like Bass did with Mega Man, in VideoGame/MegaMan7]]. Not to memtion, he's similary disrespectful to Mr. King, as Bass is towards Wily.

* TheBigBad: For the first half of 3 that is, though Mr. King is the overarching antagonist as the GreaterScopeVillain.

* NotSoAboveItAll: Despite her attempts at coming across as aloof and detached from the faculty and students of Echo Ridge Elementary, even she can't resist her curiosity about the forbidden technique of "[[CallBack Boxers]] [[VideoGame/MegaManBattleNetwork5 Off]]".

* BadassMustache: Like a stereotypical villain.

* NotSoDifferent:
** He can be this one to Pat Sprigs as both are transfer students enrolled in Geo's school. Both lost their family at a young age forcing them to live a harsh life. Their FM-ian partners are in sync; one acts as a subordinate to orchestrate planet genocide while the latter is a criminal exiled to perform the same act. Later they turn against Geo with one having the split personality take over while the other gets exposed forcing him to reveal his true identity. They end up getting redemption when Rey exits out of Pat per defeat while Jack comes to terms after Geo knocked sense into him in their final fight.
** Like Solo, they serve as rivals to Geo and share a black and edgy scheme. Their goals involve the expense of humanity while serving their superior with a Wizard at their side as their right hand man. Solo wants to preserve his long deceased civilization and their memory while Jack wants to put all life to 0% for what they did to his country fighting over an advanced EM technology. Solo isolates himself as a way of his philosophy and life while Jack only has sister at his side forming a bond with Geo and his friends forming a conflicting turmoil within him. Solo continues to stay aloof and rivals to Geo while Jack pretends to be a friend then exposes himself as a traitor only to slowly redeem himself. Laplace understands Solo's pain and isolation while Corvus only uses Jack for his selfish reasons by exploiting him in the first place per intentions. They use a sword affinity attack and other movesets based on their original expy Bass.EXE sharing their disdain for humanity and bonds. Solo stays true to his expy while Jack is only partial as well to Classic.
** Losing his family can put him in the same spot as Geo though Jack takes it too far if he had not met friends like Geo did in the first place. His episode when enrolling in the same school as Geo can be a twisted version of Geo as Geo slowly ended up as a hero while Jack is a secret enemy and a member of a criminal organization. Their EM partners have a history in the past putting them at odds as well. Even Mega Man's Black Ace form can parallel to Jack's Wave Change making it an anti thesis where Mega Man took Ace's form who is a former member of Dealer and a Satella Police commando while Jack is an extremist plotting to overthrow Mr. King and usurp the plans for himself and his sister. Where Geo beat Pat then broke down, Jack did the same even with the death of Luna by Joker in front of him. The inversion applies when Jack lost to Mega Man in their final match coming to terms with his friendship and times with Geo. The final level where Jack's quest to eliminate Earth is one to Geo saving the Earth from FM-ians and Cepheus. Jack failed while Geo succeeded but Jack came back while Corvus along with Virgo are deleted by Rogue.

** He also resembles [[VideoGame/MegaManX Sigma]]; both are calm on the outside, but later get much more violent, both pulled a FaceHeelTurn, defecting from their original organizations (the Maverick Hunters/NAXA), and both were admired before that, they (possibly) share a BaldOfEvil, both are of a almost inhuman height, and both want to bring out the full potential of the heroes(Sigma of X and Zero, Joker of Acid and [=MegaMan=]). Joker has connection and bond with Acid, that is similar to that which Sigma and Zero shared.
** His role is reminiscent to that of Baryl and Colonel.EXE; both are ruthless and cunning as they order their subordinates around. However he is considered to be the polar opposite since Colonel has emotions whereas Joker is cold blooded. They are {{Climax Boss}}es later in the series and share the relationship with their twins (Iris and Acid Ace). One can say that Joker is the dark personification of Baryl and what he would become if Baryl were to not have a single act of kindless following their leader.

* MeaningfulName: Laplace is named for Pierre-Simon Laplace, or, rather, his hypothetical, nigh omniscient demon (which would fit with with Solo's Combat Clairvoyance).

* MeaningfulName: One, she's named for the last remaining card suit. Secondly, the name suggests she's distinguished by certain characteristics she ''lacks''. How fitting that King gave her the name, as she teleports him into the insides of Meteor G without remorse. Played with with the reveal that she is a friend of Kevin's and an acquaintance of Hope and she does show genuine concern over Tia and Jack's pain, thinking that their plans of retribution against the world are disproportionate and she all but states that she believes they can be reasoned with.

** His role as a light based UltimateLifeForm, and a very powerful BonusBoss, are very similar to [[VideoGame/MegaManBattleNetwork3WhiteAndBlue Serenade.EXE]]. They're defeat is also part of unlocking the RecurringBoss' upgraded form (Bass GS/Rogue ZZ).

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Walks hand-in-hand with her WhamLine. Bonus points for occurring at the beginning of the final chapter. King has just disabled Jack's and Queen Tia's Wave Change, bringing a screeching halt to their plans of revenge. He demands Heartless dispose of them, only for her to turn her back on him then and there, spend a moment detailing precisely how utterly wrong he's been, and then she dumps him through a portal ''into the heart of Meteor G'']].

* HiddenDepths: Despite all his claims it's all but stated that he did genuinely enjoy Geo and the others' company. Tia even points out when she's going in a mission alone (usually, they go together) that being close to them has mellowed him, as he shuts up inmediatly when she orders him to do so.

* EvenEvilHasStandards: She and Jack are stunned by Joker's brutal murder of Luna, finding it completely uneccesary.

** She's also noted to be similar to [[VideoGame/MegaManBattleNetwork Shuko Kido]]. The two are older than the protagonist, have unpleasant past lives, have little brothers , work as a teacher, and have water element. Althrough Tia is more like a EvilCounterpart of Shuko.
** She's also quite similar to the Anime/MegaManNTWarrior version of Ms. Yuri, as both masquarade as teachers, are members of a crime sidicate that spreads TheCorruption, are adopted daughters of major villians (Lord Wily/Mr. King), and do a HeelFaceTurn.

* TheBigBad: For the first half of 3 that is though Mr. King is the overaching antagonist as the GreaterScopeVillain.

To the world at large, Mr. King is an extremely magnanimous philanthropist whose institution, the King Foundation, funds charity organizations the world over; the Foundation is behind everything from orphanages to ''entire shopping malls'' themed around the entertainment of children. To the characters we know and love, however, King is a malevolent figure whose machinations for world dominion have caused no end of trouble. He is the mastermind behind Wizards going rogue, which release Crimson once defeated, which is harvested with the intention of gaining control of Meteor G, which will allow him to take control of the world. His philantropy is nothing more than a guise to the public; in truth he's a total megalomaniac that couldn't care less about anyone but himself.

* CompositeCharacter: As mentioned below, he has various similarities to previous ''Mega Man'' villains like Lord Wily, Dr. Regal, and Dr. Weil. He also has similarites to ComicBook/LexLuthor.

* DirtyCoward: Loves gloating about how great he is and how nobody has a chance to stop him, but he is always fleeing from danger or sending his subbordinates to do his work. Arrived at one of his bases? Orders Joker to self-destruct and flees unfought. Fused with the core of Meteor G? Absorbs Kelvin to try to goad Geo into not fighting him.

* ScaledUp: The final boss is the Crimson Dragon, a giant Noise beadt that is possessed by King.

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: Again, a gargantous dragon made of Noise.

** His face with his EyesAlwaysShut, [[FauxAffablyEvil general demanor]], and long hair, all recall [[VideoGame/MegaManLegends Mega Man Juno]]. Both also [[FaceDeathWithDignity take their deaths suprisingly well]], and are sure that despite it, they defeated Mega Man in a way.

* TheNecromancer: Like Cepheus, he can restore EM Beings from bits of their data. Unlike Cepheus, he fashions independent entities out of them, rather than simply reviving the originals. (Imagine giving ghost data its own personality)

* GuileHero: She seems cold and EmotionlessGirl at first, but is quite cunning and patient. King learned this the hard way.

* TheSpock: Of the third game's Wizard PowerTrio, with Mega and Taurus.
