This also fits into another plan that isn't supposed to happen until a month later.

* NinjaMaid - she's "[[PaperThinDisguise incognito]]" as Hayate's tutor.

* TakeThat: Her username is "ihu2carl". Carl Kimlinger of Website/AnimeNewsNetwork is a reviewer known best for despising all things {{moe}} who wrote a rather [[InternetBackdraft notorious]] review of [[Anime/MagicalGirlLyricalNanoha the first season]] of Nanoha's canon. (You could not even ''mention'' the show on ANN for months afterward.)

* MeaningfulName: His journal name, "king_of_flames," was selected based on a triple meaning. First, [[CaptainObvious he's the]] [[PlayingWithFire Flame Alchemist]]. Second, he's the king in his [[ChessMotifs chess motif]]. And third, it's a play on the name of [[Anime/YuGiOh a certain other king.]]

* SocialDarwinist - of a sort. [[spoiler:Rather than the [[YouFailBiologyForever "everyone will evolve into a Newtype in space"]] plan he had in canon, his endgame goal is a world without laws or structures or civilization that will force humanity to evolve away from weakness and greed, or perish fighting the Rift.]] He is 100% ''against'' killing off people who simply appear to be weak, though. He knows better than that.

As in his canon, Roy is a [[ColonelBadass colonel]] in the Amestrian army. However, in this variant, he's the son of a deceased noble, and as such has learned to conduct himself according to that role. He's also a Master in the Holy Grail War, having summoned [[{{Slayers}} Caster]].

* StraightMan: Becomes this when he interacts with [[{{Slayers}} Caster]].

* {{Tsundere}}: She may not show it, but she still cares for [[Manga/FullmetalAlchemist Roy]] a lot. She nearly attacked [[{{Slayers}} Caster]] when Roy experienced the pain from obtaining his [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Command Spell]], and has recently been using Caster to be her eyes and ears to watch over Roy. But to the man himself, she constantly gives trouble.

* ThePresidentsDaughter: Or in this case the thief/former scientist's. Mainly due to Amestris trying to get a hold of the WMDs Nijuu Mensou developed for them in his former life.
