* TheUnreveal: No cause for how or why they're no longer with us is ever revealed in the show or any other media, though given the target audience of the show, it is understandable why no specifics are made so as not to frighten them.

* PeekABangs: Marble's front bangs are very long and cover the left side of her face. Unlike other ponies [[AmbidextrousSprite whose bangs change positions depending on angle]], the right side of her face is always kept covered by her mane.

* PeekABangs: Has this hairstyle, hence why she tends to blow her hair out of her eyes. Apparently, overcoming this trouble is what finally lead to her gaining her cutie mark, a pair of scissors, which is supposed to signify a talent in mane styling.
