openSerial Killer Poet Literature
I remember reading a story in middle school about an American detective who gets called in on a murder mystery in a small English town. Twelve of the town's residents have been murdered, but with different methods. It's later discovered that the killer was a "mad poet" and the victims were killed with something that rhymed with their last names. (Mr. Lord-decapitated with a sword; Miss Bristol-shot with a pistol; Miss Slaughter-drowned in her bathtub, dying from water.) The killer later killed herself because her last victim's name (Silver) didn't rhyme with anything. (This also applied to the killer herself, Miss Orange.) Does this sound familiar to anyone?
openHELP - Animated Kid Show/Movie ?? Western Animation
I sadly cannot remember the name of the show or even the names of the characters. The things I do remember are vague.. It starts in a young boy's home. I think he had shortish brown hair. He's at his grandma's house I think. I distinctly remember a green arm chair in the living room in front of a fire place. He eventually goes on an adventure in space with some buddies. He was either dreaming or was shrunk down because they are his toys. They go to another plant. I remember there was like an issue on the planet and they had to hurry to get back home in time or something? At the end, when he gets home, he sits in the green chair. It also was not traditional animation if I remember correctly.. it looked different. I have never seen it advertised anywhere online or on tv since. It was an odd show and I guess not very popular. I owned this on tape and used to always watch it when I went to my grandma's.. I remember it was before my sister was born in 2005. I was born in 1999 so it had to be someone between there that I was old enough to remember. I have been thinking about it a lot recently. I have never been able to find it.. please help!

An educational cartoon for kids which showed how inventions (and maybe also discoveries) were made that aired in the 90's or early 2000's. I think when the narrator was starting the opening scene the camera used to follow a fly that may have had a yellow streak trailing behind it.
The way the show went about was telling stories like for how stamps were invented there was a boy sending his mother letters and at that time the receiver had to pay for them. As she couldn't afford to pay for them the son drew symbols on the letter on the envelope to convey a short message as soon as the postal delivery guy showed it to her before she had to refuse and the mailman took it back.
Another episode was how hot air balloons were invented when a man discovered his shirt fluttering when he kept it for drying by the fireplace. He then went on the tie knots on is sleeves to see what would happen.
There were also episodes that showed how basketball was invented and also silk, by a lady dropping a cocoon in her tea. There may have been an episode of how monks used to write books and if they messed up had to start all over again. Any help is greatly appreciated.
openAnime on DVD from Childhood Anime
So I remember this one show I watched dubbed in Chinese on DVD when I was like four years old—it was about this girl and boy and the girl could do magic by drawing big magic circles on the ground? And at one point they found a magic circle she could use at the bottom of a teapot, and then at another point she had to play a flute standing on the roof at the highest point of a tower in the middle of the mountains I think? I watched this like a good sixteen years ago at least probably and for the life of me I can't recall the name. Anyone got any ideas?
openTV Show cute moment
The problematic thing is that I only remember one scene from this tv show, and I actually watched it, that's because I saw a GIF of it a few months ago and I wasn't smart enough to save it. it's an American/ British tv show in my opinion. So it goes like this: A woman sits next to a man in a restaurant, she's smoking and I think she had green T-Shirt (she is a grunge style girl I assume). Then she stares at the man while smoking (they weren't strangers) like he's her crush and she's inloved with him. Then he turns his head and she quickly looks away (she was almost got caught staring). when he stares at her she looks away and takes a deep breath from her cigarette. (this dude was inloved with her too if I remember correctly). At first, I thought it was a scene from Skins (Effy Stonem) or Shameless, but I haven't found this scene at all (I tried a little). I tried to describe it as good as possible. If you saw this GIF or you know the scene/ tv show please help me! thanks in advance (I know it's a challenge)!!! any close suggestions can be good! <3

This is a short story I read in Russian perhaps 15 years ago (I believe it was a translation. It might have been a novel, I'm not sure). It was printed in a newspaper in pieces, I only read two or three parts. The story is told by a male narrator who is on the Moon along with a woman. They meet what appears to be the last Christian alive (The narrator states he follows some weird faith the symbol of which is like a + sign with a long vertical bar). The ending has him and his companion together, but, IIRC, both have changed gender. Apparently, the narrator was born as a girl, but it was changed a few hours later.

I read this in Russian 10-15 years ago, not sure. I believe this was a translation, can't remember whether this was a novel or a short story. All I remember is a part where a man orders a female Sex Bot, and says that he wants her to be human looking. The man receiving the order states he is relieved at this one after having too many clients who "prefer having intercourse with jumbles of cones and cubes, or even simply computers".
openCreepy TV criminal who plays mind games then eats paper Live Action TV
I am trying to remember where I saw this character who was in jail and the cops were coming to him for information. And they gave him books to read to make him more cooperative, then he ate the book. He was super creepy and playing mind games I think. Can you tell me the show/episode/character/actor? It was a recent show - in the last few years. Maybe like Castle, Hawaii Five O or something like that.
openchildren's animated show about small woodland people Western Animation
This may have gone right to DVD but I'm not totally sure. It would be from around the late 90s to early 2000s. It was a show about these tiny people (I almost want to say gnomes because they wore pointy hats and all that) who lived in the woods. The show focused on two kids, who I think were brother and sister, and they always wore pink and blue. I remember two distinct moments in the show, the first being a wedding in the village. The kids are supposed to collect flowers for the wedding but something goes wrong and they end up spilling the flowers into the river. However, it all turns out okay because they decide to fill the river with flowers and they all float past the wedding ceremony. The second was a more creepy setting that I think supposed to mimic Halloween. The kids wear sheets, carry lanterns, and go walking around the village with their friends. They wind up going into this hollow tree and I think they encounter some sort of spirit in there. When I brought this show up to my mom she couldn't remember it either but went "wasn't it Canadian?", so that might be another hint. This has been bugging me for over a year now I swear
also- it is NOT David The Gnome
Edited by octavf9openA puzzle I've played before
Bit of a different query, I hope it's allowed.
There was a physical puzzle that my eighth(?) grade teacher had a few years ago. It was 16 pieces, and each piece was about the size of the palm of my hand. They were silvery, rough on one side and sleek on the other. The twist of the puzzle was that it had multiple types of knob/socket shapes on all sides of the piece. A few of them were "edge" pieces, but only maybe two or three of them. It came in a long blue box. The name of the puzzle might have boasted about its difficulty. I've tried to search for it using keywords but I can't find it. Any avid puzzle lovers out there who might know what it's called? I might want to buy a copy of it for myself.
openIt’s a cartoon Film

openplease help Western Animation
I used to watch a show about a brother and sister who live in some weird floating world. The sister has some kind of power (sagen?). I don't really remember anything else except that their mother is either in jail/being held captive. The show from what little I remember revolves around the power the sister has and people trying to get her.
open2017 anime Anime
Okay, now I realize the importance of bookmarking.
At the time I found the show, it was only a few episodes in but when I want to look for it again I forgot the title. The last episode that I saw before I left it to finish has a scene where a girl is getting bullied then the bullied girl proceeds to troll the bullies by acting like a cat and scaring the crap out of them. Ideas?
The faces they make sometimes can be quite distinctive, as well
Edited by Xelixionresolved Animated movie for kids Western Animation
There was this movie that started out with people laughing at their besiegers trying to breach the castle walls, until the besiegers pulled out a really REALLY big cannon. A baby/child was taken away while the castle fell (and was raised by gypsies?). When he was older, at one point he tricked his way past a guard using some sleight of hand with a gold coin. There was a villain who had a tendency to get so ridiculously angry that a cannon's release valve had been fitted to his head, so he could "blow off some steam". I believe at one point he was put to sleep by someone grabbing him and holding the valve open. Anyone remember this?
openDrama Movie Film
Hi guys, So, I saw this movie a long long time ago, somewhere in the middle to late 90's (maybe? I have realized I'm terrible at time). A few years ago I tried searching for it and even asked on another website and couldn't find anything. Now even more time has passed, and my memory of it is....vague, and probably with some of the details incorrect. It was a drama movie about a photographer who goes to visit her best friend/sister who is pregnant and also has a little girl. They are in a bedroom and the little girl is running around in just her panties, and they're are talking about the pregnancy, so the photographer takes pictures of the little girl and her mom, with the girl touching her pregnant belly or something. Then, I don't remember how,(maybe the person that develops the pictures?) but the police gets called and the photographer is accused of child pornography or being a pedophile or something and the rest of the movie is the trial. At the end she's acquitted. I saw in on TV, I have no idea if it was ever in the cinema, or if it went to VHS/DVD. Pretty sure (but I'm not 100%) that they spoke with an American accent. That's it. I don't remember any of the actresses or actors. If you have questions maybe it will jog something in my memory. I'm sure if I see it, I'll recognize it.
openTV one-shot about a stage play gone wrong. Live Action TV
This was a videotaped one-shot show that ran on one of the American cable networks roughly 25-30 years ago. It was about a play where everything backstage was going terribly wrong, kind of like "Noises Off". And like the second act of "Noises Off" it was seen from the perspective of someone behind the stage looking out at the audience (which was simulated by crude cutouts of people with movable clapping hands). The only thing I remember clearly was a Polish man, a janitor (or some similar off-stage position) who claimed to have been a great actor back in the old country. He does a line from Hamlet in Polish, something like "Niestety, biedny Yorick! Znałem go dobrze" which translates to the common MI Squote "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him well".
openOld Star Trek Game Videogame
It might have been based on the original series, it was a really old game I played early 2000s. It was a point and click adventure a bit like the Monkey Island series. I remember when you clicked on the wrong thing it would say 'nothing happens'. There were battles between other ships. There was an option to teleport a party to negotiate peace with another ship or a bomb. There was a scene where you took a severed hand to open a door with it.
Hi, I don't really know this site but I'm assuming this is how you do it. I used to watch a kid's show about a guy who had a big screen. On it there was like four animals he could choose from to come out and play with him. I have no idea the name of it. Any ideas? Also i believe one of them was a monkey and one was a rhino
