When you find yourself trying to remember a show (or any works) that's on the tip of your tongue but just out of reach, come here - the collective brain of the TVTropes community can probably help. Post all the details you can remember (examples help). If you're looking for a trope, head over to Trope Finder. Have general questions about tropes? Visit Ask The Tropers!
Really would like to hear some opinion, it's eating my mind.

Wikipedia has a list of all games that have been exhibited. I might be a huge pain to check everything, but at least it'll give you a place to start https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_On_(exhibition)
Thanks for the link, I didn't think of that. Got through all of the extensive "games exhibited" list, but it doesn't look like any of them. Of course, as
- 1)the exhibition started 2 weeks ago in Prague, it could be something new not shown in previous exhibitions (wiki's "Spazio Eventi Tirso, Rome, Italy (4 March 2017 to 6 June 2017)")
- 2)it can be a concept art for a game, fan fiction too perhaps. Or collage of more games, but that seems unlikely.
- a friend mentioned that the stones remind him of Age of Empires
Now I got myself interested as well. I'll try to sniff around, but in case nobody knows anything, try sending a mail to the contact listed on the site. https://www.barbican.org.uk/hire/exhibition-hire-bie/game-on-game-on-2-0 That Neil guy will probably help you in case no one else has an idea. it's his job after all :D
Edit: No luck, best I've come by is it is probably a strategy game. I'd recommend sending a mail...
Edited by PlatinumHappy to get you intrigued. 8 lines email to Neil sent, we'll see.
...and the story continues, Neil replied:
/////////////////////// "Hello
I believe the painting you mention is by Ocean Quigley - who was a key creative on Sims as well as an accomplished artist.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Neil" ///////////////////////
Got in contact with Ocean Quigley himself, and he says it's just part of a surrealist side project thing he was doing at the same time as his work on the Sims- so, not a video game at all turns out!
Yeah, not a game per se, but him being an classical artist + game artist, it looks like from some game. It just doesn't exist ... yet. I've browser through his personal gallery (on his website) and it has some interesting looking stuff. Recommended.
I was at GAME ON exhibition, when right before the end was this big poster. Unfortunately without a tag or description. imgur.com/p3igZTQ.jpg
