First off, Targetmaster Joe welcomes you to TV Tropes, rosypenguin!
Second, this is happening.
Ugh, when I think of what DWA should be doing, the phrase "Torch the Franchise and Run" comes to mind for some reason...
Somehow, I don't think the guy'd be complaining if 16-22 year olds liked his work. If an older viewer walked up to him and told him they thought his show was great, would his response still be "What are you doing watching a show made for little kids?"
I get being irritated when people come up to you and just vent crap like "your show's lame." That's a particularly useless thing to say to anyone. But anyone is allowed to like or dislike anything they want. The makers of Barney used to use the same defense when adults would complain about that show, and it was regularly countered with the fact that whenever a kid is watching something, there's usually a parent nearby, and that they felt it'd be nice if the makers of kids entertainment would have some mercy on them.
But Penguins of Madagascar did fucking awesome at the international box office.
Necro-ing this thread.
You guys know that part in Mulan where Mushu was trying to awaken the Great Stone Dragon and spectacularly failed at it?
I never got why it didn't wake up. Really, what was that all about?

here's a theory: that wasn't the Great Stone Dragon, but merely a statue of him. Mushu was frustrated and a bit distracted when he wandered into the courtyard; maybe the actual dragon was further off and Mushu didn't notice.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.I was half-puzzled by it.
On the one hand, the ancestors knew of it, and one statue had already come alive, so why would it fail?
On the other hand, it's the comic relief doing it. It was bound to fail.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years. In other news, the discussion thread for the controversial series Teen Titans Go!, has recently been closed due to conversations devolving from criticism regarding the quality of the show's writing to outright personal attacks amongst the tropers.
The questions on this troper's mind is: is it even safe to ask if the writing has improved in any way, shape, or form since "Let's Get Serious"? Or was it perhaps the intention, for the writing staff is none other than...the Legion of Doom?!
Joking aside, I really did not see this coming. I mean, wow. Just wow.

Eesh. You know, oddly enough, I have actually met one of the show's actual fans face-to-face.
That fan was my hygienist from my dentist appointment from a few weeks or so.
She told me that even though she saw TT '03, she actually liked watching it with her son and that she always cracked up whenever Beast Boy and Cyborg show up.
Talk about "to each his own", am I right?
I guess.
I'm perfectly fine with people watching and enjoying the show. Hell, I actually liked the show at first in it's first season. This season however has not really improved my thoughts on it.
And just putting this out there, my reasons for hating Go! barely have to do with me liking the original show. I try to look at the show on it's own merits.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013That's what this kind of show will DO to people! NOW you KNOW!
i feel more apathetic towards go than anything else. did they really have to use the beloved TT cartoon as a basis for an unfunny show? obviously it was working for at least SOME people but it just seems like a bad idea.

Probably. Reusing things from an earlier show will give you a guaranteed audience, and we know remakes, reboots, and sequels are all the rage in entertainment these days because people are too afraid to lose money on the risk of something original.
And knowing is half the battle!
G.I. JOOOOOOOOOOE!!!
...
Yeah, couldn't resist.
But really though, no one thinks this is gonna spark any actual awareness from anyone who's actually in the animation industry, right?
Bump.
Well this is actually pretty funny. When I was watching a clip of Clerks: The Animated Series, there was an advertising that said Kevin Smith, the guy who made Clerks is showing up at this year's Florida Supercon.
Crazy, right?
Why is that crazy?

I saw an ad that had to do with the guy who created the show I was gonna watch a clip of.
Also, you guys know what was a great movie? The Iron Giant. Shame it didn't get too much recognition when it was in theaters.
But wait, what do we have here? Something called ''The Iron Giant: Signature Edition''?
Two new scenes? One of them most likely the deleted scene of The Giant's dream?
Interesting...
Hey, anyone here know if Randy Cunningham is going to be rewuned for season three?
It's been deathslotted - it wasn't that popular, unfortunately, so Disney's cutting its losses with this show.
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.I have the feeling it could have done better had Disney put the show at a good timeslot.

If anyone still gives a hoot about the one animated movie that's been in Development Hell for so long that it's not funny (not that its situation was funny in the first place) also known as The Thief and the Cobbler, perhaps this will be of interest to you guys?
For what it's worth, Tomm Moore retweeted the link on his Twitter.
Online petitions are useless.
New Web Browser, same old Shokew.
Rosy, I love Rick And Morty and am awaiting the second season and comics with bated breath.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.
