This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Excuse me. May you revert the Chaotic Evil entry on the Characters.Rance page back to Chaotic Neutral? The person who changed it to Chaotic Evil was a vandal who was recently banned and common consensus of the fanbase is that Rance is Chaotic Neutral. Of course, if you don't want D&D character alignments on a character page, I don't mind if you delete it.

Actually, a good number of the tropes applied to the main character of Sengoku Rance should be moved to YMMV, particularly the D&D alignment... though I would argue that, despite Encrypted's insistence, Rance does read quite clearly as a very particular subtype of Chaotic Evil.
Also, considering the constant rape, shouldn't Villain Protagonist be somewhere on that page?

^^^ Well, the definition states that a Chaotic Evil person is someone who does what he wants even if it seriously hurts others. Someone who gleefully rapes and murders people fits that definition. But as Fighteer said, is it supposed to be there at all?

From what I understand from the one walkthrough I read, the rest of the series is less gameplay heavy, although I could be mistaken. If they do have a higher porn to gameplay ratio, it probably bears looking at.

The Reptiles Are Abhorrent entry in the tropes list should change to read this:
Under New Testament, in the WMG: Satan section, the Reptiles Are Abhorrent example needs to be deleted entirely.
As redefined, this trope is not a character trope and should not be associated with individual characters like this. The above entry on the Literature/ page incorporates the relevant information into the correct entry.
