Greetings, reader!
Okay, to keep things short, I'm just an average troper and semi-casual gamer who came across this site back in 2007 through a random link from a fansite. I'm a somewhat shy and quiet Gentle Giant who has a generally positive outlook on life, though is also a bit of a grammarian with an occasional tendency to snark. I also go by the username "Komodos" on some forums.
As far as this site is concerned, I'm also the Self-Appointed, Semi-Unofficial Wiki Curator of All Matters on TV Tropes Pertaining to Sonic; or just The Sonic Wiki Curator, for short. If there's a page pertaining to Sonic on here, I've probably either edit it, or have seen it at least once.
In addition, I'm also the Forum Herald of the TVTropes Video Games subforum, as well as a member of the 5P: The Panel for the Prevention of Pedo-Pandering, Pornography and Perversity. If you have any questions pertaining to said subforum, feel free to ask.
Oh, and I also read and write fanfic. Oh, the sheer horror of it all! So far, I have two fanfics up on FF.net:
If you have a question, advice, or concerns about any of my stories that you wish to bring up, you can either send me a private message concerning it here on this site or on Fanfiction.net. Either way, you will receive a response, so don't be afraid to ask. Also, if there is a trope present in the story that has not been listed in the linked page, don't be afraid to add it in.
Some of my favorite game series are:
- Sonic the Hedgehog: One of my three favorite game franchises. I particularly adore the Genesis titles, Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, the Sonic Advance Trilogy, Sonic and the Secret Rings and Sonic Generations.
- Super Mario Bros.: The second of my three favorite game franchises. I love the main series, especially Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Super Mario 3D Land. I also love the Mario Kart, Mario & Luigi, Mario Sports Mix and Paper Mario series. At the moment, I'm currently looking forward to getting Luigis Mansion Dark Moon.
- Legend of Zelda: The third of my three favorite game franchises. I adore pretty much all of them, but mainly Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Spirit Tracks, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.
- Metal Gear: My interests lie solely on the Solid titles. At the moment, I'm'currently looking forward to Metal Gear Solid Rising, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D "The Naked Sample".
- Super Smash Bros.: I adore the entire series, especially Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- Kingdom Hearts: I like them all, especially Chain of Memories. At the moment, I'm currently looking forward to getting my hands on Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts coded and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance.
- Metroid: I adore all of them, especially the Prime subseries and Metroid: Other M.
- Kirby: I love all the games, especially Kirby Super Star Ultra, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, and Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Kirbys Return To Dreamland.
- Donkey Kong: I adore all the games, especially Donkey Kong Country Returns, Donkey Kong 64 and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.
- Crash Bandicoot: I like all of them, even the recent games.
- Spyro the Dragon: I'm mainly interested in the original games. Other than The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, the reboot titles... leaves a lot to be desired, to be honest.
- The World Ends with You: Not a series, but still. Pretty awesome game.
- Ratchet & Clank: I like the whole series in general.
- Jak and Daxter: I love them all, especially Jak 3.
- Resident Evil: I like most of them, especially Resident Evil 4 and 5. I'm currently looking forward to Resident Evil: Revelations.
- Final Fantasy: I like them all to some extent, especially Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy XII and Dissidia Duodecim. At the moment, I'm currently looking forward to Final Fantasy Versus XIII... if it ever gets released, anyway.
- Mischief Makers: Again, not a series *
and knowing Treasure's track record, will pretty much stay that way , but still an awesome game nonetheless.

- Holy crap, someone who doesn't hate Sonic with a passion?! Amazing! Heh, I grew up with Sonic 2, I was 8 when I first played a Mario game. Granted, I think the newer games are kind of lacking, but I think they're okay and I tend to ignore the worst ones, while the rest of the Internet hates Sonic and assumes anyone who likes the franchise is a basement dwelling furry. - Gentleman Orcus
