Weird dreams

All I can remember from my dreams last night is that a bear somehow got into my grandparents' house while my folks and I were visiting there and chaos ensued.

I'm sorry... -_-

At some point last night I dreamed that I got a job...at the House Of Mouse!

I was mostly working as a doorman, but I entered the main room after a while to help serve everyone's food. I had a short conversation with Winnie-The-Pooh, and then went to find Mickey Mouse to discuss my hours. However, I couldn't see him at the moment, so I went to the restroom while I waited. I wound up fighting with the stall door for a while before I finally left only to find that I was now in a Walmart for some reason. I bumped into my folks who told me we were going home. I woke up a short time later.

You know, the House of Mouse would be a really cool place to get a job at...

I wrote an essay on evolution & natural selection using John Legend lyrics. My teacher gave me an A.

That's not weird; that's cool. :)

That seems more like an out-of-context Facebook post or You Tube comment than a dream.

Something about going on a roadtrip with Piper Curda, comparative studies of bird & dinosaur necks and Squidward being terrified of Bill Cipher. I don't know either.

Well, how about xenomorph infestation at my job, and an Alien charging at me through the glass front door? When my subconscious really doesn't want to go to work, it comes up with curiously bizarre ideas. Like aliens. Or, simply, trying to convince me it's not late enough for me to get up.

The only dream I can remember was this:

I got out of bed at 1AM to my old computer to start playing a movie on it only to find that a Nintendo DS emulator was open on it. I was too sleepy to care and tried to close it, and the computer suddenly had a huge freak out and proceeded to make bizarre noises and throw up all sorts of different colored Screens Of Death. I groaned and turned the computer off and turned it back on, but as soon as I opened the DVD player program, the computer went nuts like before, except possibly even worse. Every time I restarted the computer and tried doing something, the computer would freak out again and stop responding. It was a bit scarier than it sounds. I was getting frustrated to the point of tears when I suddenly woke up.

The funny thing was that I had woken up before I had this dream and it was almost 9AM, and yet the fact that it was suddenly 1AM in the dream didn't tip me off.

Sorry for double-posting (again -_-), but this dream was interesting:

It was the day of my sister's wedding (I think) and we were all gathered in a church for it. My sister and her fiance walked up to the rather nervous looking pastor, who kept stumbling over his words and coughing before suddenly falling to his knees and whispering "I can't do this...." We had to get a replacement for him stat...and for some reason we went with a five-and-a-half foot tall blue and red Funny Animal gecko. She was a completely Adorkable Cloud Cuckoo Lander as she finished up the wedding and the congregation could barely keep themselves from laughing the rest of the time.

Eventually the dream changed to me on a road trip of some sort with my mom. We were in Houston, Texas (as I could tell by the highway signs that I could see) and waiting for a bus to arrive. I wound up getting distracted by some stunt bikers who were managing to Parkour off of buildings on their bikes and wound up missing the bus (except my mom who didn't bother to tell me it was there ).

As I stood there wondering what to do, some girl walked up to me and asked me if I could help her. I can't remember what she wanted me to help her with, but I do remember she gave me a strange hat in return. I put the hat on, and I transformed into the same goofy female gecko from earlier (Super Mario 64 DS style)! At the same time, the landscape changed to a typical Super Mario Bros. desert world. I was told that I still needed to catch up to the bus. I was at it for a while before I bumped into a Goomba and reverted back to normal self, now viewing everything from my 2DS.

Shortly after that, I woke up.

It was midnight, and my family and their friends were all on the yard, witnessing a small voleyball match... played by dogs. When the visitors were leaving, they told me they were reserving a surprise for me, so I went with them in their car, waving goodbye to my family. It started raining strongly as we drove north of the city and went through the roads that were close to an oil complex. Since we took the northernmost route, we went to a curve that took us eastward. In Real Life, that road goes through a small bunch of houses placed 10 Km north of a very active gas flare. In the dream, due to the rain, the fire ignited by the flare reached the road we were driving on, and some grasses were already on fire. Some house entrances were burning as well, and the noise of the flare was growing louder than ever. I woke up some time after we reached the city frontier, already past the fiery parts.

I again had a dream I once had when I when I was a kid.

There was beach and a rocky outcropping extending into the sea. Standing on the edge and not getting hit by the waves was somebody who looked a lot like the Cowardly Lion. He loudly shouted some bizarre nonsense words. Then suddenly, the whole thing was replaced by a terrifying black-and-white indiscernible image, and a voice repeated what the figure said in a soul-shaking demonic voice.

I was taking a stroll with my aunt through my backyard when suddenly, a wild beggar appeared! He curiously poked around at my bag and ran away with my earphones and sanitizer. My aunt then went full-on Mama Bear and the two of us chased after him, all the way to the restrooms of my high school. I looked around, but he wasn't there. Suddenly he turned up and turned into a muscular hunk! He was chewing on the stuff he had stolen from me and spat them on my hands. I washed them at the nearby sink, but that's all I remember...

At one point in a dream I had a few nights ago, I saw what appeared to be a cake that depicted the flag of Austria-hidden underneath a lattice of standing grass-blades that-strangely enough-resembled a golf course.

I think there's a lot of interesting stuff I'm forgetting from my dream last night. But it did involve these small, shiny, colorful birds that were trained to carry paper messages along particular routes, like carrier pigeons. There was one in particular (it was sort of a shiny pink color) that was especially talented and everyone liked it, but there was some sort of accident and we thought it died, although it turned out to be still alive later.

Kicked a trashcan off of the third floor of a mall, became a blonde girl, got reprimanded by a man, saw said man getting kicked from the top of a building, being stabbed by his lover and wife in midair, was falling too, woke up being covered in wounds and in a old brown shirt, then woke up for realsies.

Last Night: I dreamed I was watching political debates (which I usually don't watch) between some of the presidential candidates running for president....for some reason, it was in the form of Go Animate videos. In case you're wondering, yes, Donald Trump got grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded grounded by Jeb Bush for a reason I can't remember.

After a while the dream abruptly switched to me going on an epic quest to find a toad a new home.

I had a dream where Sega was still making consoles, and Sony and Microsoft never started to. As a result, Nintendo and Sega were pretty much the only major gaming companies, and were still competing.

The Nintendo Wii was never created, but in its place was the Nintendo Game Sphere. No motion controls, but it was well recieved.

The Wii U was called the Nintendo Hub. It had a similar gamepad, but with some differences (such as two screens on the gamepad instead of one)

Sony had released the Dreamcast Ultra to compete with the Hub. Among its launch titles were Jet Set Radio 5: Back to The Future, and Space Channel 5 Mega Plus.

The Smash Bros. series never had a sequel after 64, but Sega had a party game series that was sort of a combination of Smash and Mario Party.

It was wonderful.

You know that scene in Terminator 2 where Sarah dreams about the potential apocalypse brought by the machines? Yeah, I had a dream like that. And it was happening while I was here posting and editing in TV Tropes. Ouch.

IT'S SPHERICAL!!!

Yeah, that was by far the weirdest part. It was a funny decision my brain made.

Okay, I have NO IDEA what my brain was doing just now. (Had a 4-hour dream and it is now 3 AM.)

In the dream, i was on a forum about comic books and people were roleplaying as anime, manga, comic book, and newspaper comic characters. Some were heroes, some were villains, and some had medium-awareness, but the force behind the joined universes was some big multiversal threat that everyone had to stop, which wasn’t going to be easy. It kinda shifted between being a roleplay and being real.

Yugi and Ryou met up right away and discussed their series, and Ryou felt sad about being excluded from the Memory World arc in the manga “since that usually only happens in the anime.” Yugi agreed that Bobasa wasn’t being fair, but added that if he had gone Thief King Bakura could have used the threat of Ryou’s death to make himself invincible. Somehow.

Meanwhile, Ryou met Jean Grey from the X-Men and had an infatuated crush on her. But since Ryou didn’t read very many comic books (and neither did Yugi), he had no clue about her dark side, the Phoenix. She wasn’t too happy when he called her in the middle of chanting a mantra to stave it off, and Ryou was blissfully unaware of why she was so eager to hang up.

Here’s where the dream got really wacky. An evil force possessed two popular newspaper comic strip characters and almost killed Ryou with them until Yami Bakura took over. He had the Thief King’s personality/thoughts (his section was in first-person present tense) but Yami Bakura’s appearance. And a knife, since by this point Ryou and Yugi were exploring the Thief King’s hideout somehow

Those two characters that almost killed Ryou? GARFIELD AND ODIE. Cartoon physics as applied to human characters made them able to do crazy things, but Yami Bakura was not happy at all about Ryou being literally licked to half-death. To his dismay, he also found out that he couldn’t just stab them due to cartoon physics not allowing blood.

I forget what happened but I think he either distracted them, used cartoon physics against them, or was forced to run away. But there was a really neat painting of Ryou transforming, with hidden eyes and the ring glowing as the entire hideout lit up. It was cool.

I woke up shortly after due to the absurdity of it all.

Last night I dreamed about the new Star Wars movie. It was pretty bad. Emperor Palpatine was still alive and for whatever reason Luke Skywalker was too depressed to do anything about it. Also, there were a whole lot of babies. There were a few cool spaceships as well, though.

Uh oh, I had a pony dream last night....

In it, Pinkie Pie had somehow acquired Shapeshifting powers and was messing around with everyone with them (such as dropping by Twilight Sparkle's house as Princess Celestia and messing with Applejack's head by turning into her various family members). Then a giant angry monster came to town, and Pinkie Pie turned into a giant version of Mega Charizard X and had a fight with him. That part was pretty epic.

i had this dream that in Persona 4 there was an event right before halloween where you're at Rise's summer rich person cottage from when she was an idol

And you guys realize that you need to get somewhere quick and you all decide to take a shortcut

Well this shortcut ended up being walking on the edge of a neighbor's house, on their gutters, above a HUGE drop straight downwards into another neighbor's lawn.

So MC decides to walk back off the gutters, back to the rest of the group.

But then the gutter breaks. And you fall way way way down.

Then a dialogue box appears that says "You remember learning about what body part to hold towards the ground when falling from a high distance..."

Then your choices are

"Butt"

"Arms"

"Legs"

"Do nothing"

And you have a time limit to select the right option (which is butt) and then MC does that position.

Luckily, I chose butt in time, and I landed on the ground mostly unharmed. No idea what happens if you choose the other options.

Then Rise notices that you have something in your hand, and a dialogue box appears saying "you must have grabbed it from the sky while falling."

And it's a quest to kill metroids in a space mission dungeon, on which Yosuke comments on it being really cool, then so does the rest of the team.

Rise then decides that the team has to get going, and they head off.

I had a dream there was a fully 3D otome visual novel game in which you get to romance politicians, and whoever you decide to help, you have to get them elected president. The politician I went for looked like Kevin Spacey...
