[up]Ok, @Nombretomado, oh, right, now I'll correct those itty-bitty errors:

"Funny Aneurysm" Moment: In JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as an In-Universe example, Joseph fakes getting his hand cut off when Santana tries to absorb him. Later on, Kars chops off Joseph's hand for real.

Done. I'm awaiting your answer.

Touken Ranbu character page, Izuuminokami Kanesada

  • Berseker Button: In "Katsugeki", Izuminokami doesn't like when people speak ill about Shinsengumi.
Konnosuke: *Trademark Favorite Food: In Katsugeki", he seems to have a craving for deep-fried tofu since he was drooling.

Katsugeki Touken Ranbu: Third episode: "Master's Orders"

Funny page

  • Mutsunokami reaction on how Horikawa manage to fool a rounin thinking his western outfit was a disguise.
  • A running gag where Horikawa compares Izuminokami and Mutsunokami how they are alike.
  • During the preview of fourth episode, "What I Wanted to Protect", Horikawa and Mutsunokami imitate their teammate's personality (I'm not if this counts as heartwarming page)

Heartwarming page

  • At the end of the "Master's Orders", Izuminokami and Mutsunokami made up after this previous agreement. However, they still don't like each other.

Tearjerker (In YMMV page):

  • Mutsunokami was very conflict how many people died as it doesn't affect history.
    • At the same time, when Mutsunokami speak ill about Shinsengami on how they died with prides, Izuminokami was very pissed out and attempt to hurt him.

Awesome page:

  • "Master's Order": It's a good thing Mutsunokami and Tonbokiri were in the area and manage to save most of the foreigners after the ship exploded.
    • Yagen use his medical skills and save a man from bleeding to death. (I'm not sure if this counts)

As for the Nightmare Fuel for the third episode, I don't know, but there a scene at the beginning where a lot people lost their lives with only thirteen survived from the explosion caused by the ronins.

That all I want to added to Katsugeki Touken Ranbu/Touken Ranbu page if this is alright. Although I can't edit it because I'm suspended and I have no idea how long.

[up]

  • Izuminokami doesn't like when people speak -> Izuminokami doesn't like it when people speak
  • In Katsugeki", -> In "Katsugeki".
  • he seems to have a craving for deep-fried tofu since he was drooling. ->
    • Since he was drooling, he seems to have a craving for deep-fried tofu.

  • Mutsunokami reaction on how Horikawa manage -> Mutsunokami's reaction to how Horikawa manages
  • to fool a rounin thinking his western outfit was a disguise. -> to fool a ronin into thinking his western outfit is a disguise.
  • compares Izuminokami and Mutsunokami how they are alike. -> compares how much alike Izuminokami and Mutsunokami are.
  • of fourth episode -> of the fourth episode

  • (I'm not if this counts as heartwarming page)

This should be deleted as per Examples Are Not Arguable. It's either an example or it isn't. If you're not sure, it isn't.

  • Izuminokami and Mutsunokami made up -> Izuminokami and Mutsunokami make up

How to Write an Example - Write in Historical Present Tense

  • Mutsunokami was very conflict -> Mutsunokami is very conflicted about
  • Mutsunokami speak ill about Shinsengami on how they died with prides ->
    • Mutsunokami speaks ill of the Shinsengami about how they died with pride
  • Izuminokami was very pissed out and attempt -> Izuminokami is very pissed off and attempts
  • were in the area -> are in the area

How to Write an Example - Write in Historical Present Tense

  • Yagen use his medical skills and save a man from bleeding to death. ->
    • Yagen uses his medical skills to save a man from bleeding to death.

  • (I'm not sure if this counts)

See Examples Are Not Arguable above. Also, I would say that saving someone's life is pretty Awesome unless they do it on a regular basis.

  • a lot people lost their lives with only thirteen survived -> a lot people lose their lives with only thirteen surviving
  • That all I want to added -> That's all I want to add

For One-Punch Man: Villains & Monsters

For Marhall Gorilla (he needs a folder)

  • Almighty Janitor: In a sense, he consider himself more dangerous than a tiger level threat, and defeats an A-class hero with no difficulty. Since Armored gorilla, who got easily defeated by Genos, an S-class hero, kills Marshall Gorilla in one punch, it's likely that he's just a case of Small Name, Big Ego.
  • Curbstomp Battle: He defeats Heavy Kong. And is later defeated by Armored Gorilla in a single punch.
  • Killer Gorilla: A monster who has the appeareance of a gorilla in an army suit.
  • Glory Hound: Says that he will not stop defeating heroes until he gets promoted to a Demon level threat.
  • Good Smoking, Evil Smoking: Is always smoking a cigar, being a monster he's a case of evil smoking.
  • No True Scotsman: Marshall Gorilla considers Armored Gorilla a traitor among the gorilla monsters because the latter lives peacefully in the human society.
  • Knife Nut: He fights using a pair of knives.
  • Stock Animal Diet: Being an ape-like monster, he has a shoulder-belt with bananas tied to it, but the banana peels contains his cigars.

[up][up][up] Ok, Mr. Nombretomado, I need to continue. Therefore I'll keep doing this.

For Badass Adorable: In World Heroes, Ryoko might be very genki and little-structured, yet, she can perfectly throw a man who is the double of her size and weight.

[up]For Badass Adorable: In World Heroes, Ryoko might be very genki and little-structured, yet, she can perfectly throw a man who is the double of her size and weight.

  • "Ryoko might be very genki" -> "might" is the wrong word choice here, as it indicates uncertainty. Rewrite: "Ryoko is very genki" or "Ryoko may be very genki".
  • "little-structured" -> it's unclear if this is referring to the lightness of her frame (i.e. she looks frail), or if she's short/petite.
  • No need for the comma between "yet" and "she". "Yet" leads directly into the clause.
  • "throw a man who is the double of her size and weight" -> "throw a man who is double her size and weight".

[up] x8 @simonsolly

  • he consider himself -> he considers himself
  • Armored gorilla, who got easily defeated -> Armored Gorilla, who was easily defeated

  • who was easily defeated by Genos, an S-class hero, ->

With all of the commas in this sentence, it's easy to get confused. I suggest putting it in parentheses:

  • (who was easily defeated by Genos, an S-class hero)

  • He defeats Heavy Kong. And is later (sentence fragment) -> He defeats Heavy Kong and is later

"He defeats Heavy Kong" is not an example of Curbstomp Battle because it doesn't say how it's an example. It should be either explained or deleted.

  • appeareance -> appearance
  • Says that he will not stop -> He says that he will not stop
  • Is always smoking a cigar, being a monster he's a case of evil smoking. ->
    • He is an evil monster who is always smoking a cigar.
  • the banana peels contains his cigars. -> the banana peels contain his cigars.

simonsolly:

Marshall > Marshal

NOTE: these "levels" ... are they proper nouns, or mere descriptions? If a proper name (e.g., "Alpha squadron"), the "tiger" in "tiger-level threat" above should also be capitalized. If not (e.g., "a dog collar"), then "Demon" should be lowercase here.
  • Good Smoking, Evil Smoking: No language problem here, but are you sure this is informative enough to explain why it qualifies?
  • No True Scotsman:
    • among the gorilla monsters > to the gorilla monsters
    • in the human society > in human society
  • Knife Nut: Again, this is grammatical ... but not sure it's enough to count as a trope example.
  • Stock Animal Diet: Being an ape-like monster, he has a shoulder-belt with bananas tied to it, but the banana peels contain his cigars > The ape-like monster [character's name] has a bandolier apparently filled with bananas ... but they're emptied peels that contain his cigars.

Marshall Gorilla

  • Killer Gorilla: A monster who has the appearance of a gorilla in an army suit.
  • Glory Hound: He says that will not stop defeating heroes until he gets promoted to a demon-level threat. <— Yeah, I had to lowercase this
  • Good Smoking, Evil Smoking: He's an evil monster who is always smoking a cigar.
  • No True Scotsman: Marshall Gorilla considers Armored Gorilla a traitor to the gorilla monsters because the latter lives peacefully in human society.
  • Knife Nut: He fights using a pair of knives. <—There's nothing more to say, and I don't think something more is needed.
  • Stock Animal Diet: Marshall Gorilla is an ape-like monster and has a bandolier with bananas tied to it, but they're actually emptied peels that contain his cigars. <—Yeah, it's not identical with what you've written but I think it says the same thing, right? Also, thanks for bandolier, beacuse I didn't even know the Italian (my language) word for it.

I've removed the folder because for some reasons it didn't open.

I have a few additions for Brooklyn Nine-Nine:

For Jake

  • Guile Hero: While he has no problems resorting to violence when it’s required, this is Jake’s go to tactic when dealing with situations is to rely on charm, persuasion, manipulation and trickery to achieve his goals. This ranges from sweet talking information out of potential suspects, to using misdirection tactics to force others to show their hand.

  • Kansess City Shuffle: His plan to steal a phone with an incriminating video in “Coral Palms Part One” rests upon Jordan Crafton discovering they were trying to pay her in fake money, so that he could switch the phone in the confusion created whilst he seemingly tried to escape.

For Melanie

  • The Ace: She’s a very well-known detective and very respected by the NYPD. She likewise has a reputation as an incredibly tough person, who takes on the most dangerous criminals in all of New York.

  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Cultivates the perception of being a strict but fair Reasonable Authority Figure and highly dedicated officer of the law. In truth, she is a greedy thief and as corrupt as they come.

  • The Chessmaster: She not only see’s through Jake and Rosa’s deception, and incriminates them for all her crimes. But she also successfully engines that their defence is broken before the trial starts, and manipulates events so they end up introducing the very testimony which leads to them being found guilty.

  • Functional Addict: Secretly takes cocaine and goes on massive drinking binges, neither of which seems to hinder her in the slightest.

MGD:

For Jake

Guile Hero: this is Jake’s go to tactic - cut out "this is" and hyphenate "go-to", so it becomes "Jake's go-to tactic when dealing with situations is..."

Kansess City Shuffle - Kansas City Shuffle.

For Melanie

The Ace: Looks good.

Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Also looks good.

The Chessmaster: She not only sees through Jake and Rosa’s deception, and incriminates them for all her crimes, but successfully engineers their defence to be broken before the trial starts... (my spell checker also flags "defence", but afaik that's a legitimate spelling and my browser is just being xenophobic.)

Functional Addict: Secretly takes cocaine and goes on massive drinking binges, neither of which seem to hinder her in the slightest.

Fairly good work here, only a few corrections necessary. Keep it up.

Black Butler - Anime/Manga Characters

Tanaka:

  • Secret-Keeper: In "Blue Cult" arc, Tanaka knew Ciel has a twin brother and he had kept the Phantomhive family secret for fifteenth years.

Ciel Phantomhive:

  • Heroic BSoD: Ciel suffer this again after unexpectedly reunited with his twin brother, the real "Ciel Phantomhive".
  • Replacement Sibling: Ciel mutters to be "the spare" to "Ciel Phantomhive", heir to Earl Phantomhive. It implied that he only thinks himself to be an his twin replacement in case he died. That would explain why he took his brother's name and identify.

Black Butler - Manga Only Characters "Ciel Phantomhive"

  • Identical Stranger: It's been confirmed that "Ciel" is Ciel's twin brother.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: "Ciel" strongly resemble to his father, Vincent and he also inherit his eyes.
  • Sadist: He claims he care for Ciel, but judging by his dark expression and tone, he enjoys tormenting his twin and make him suffer. It strongly implied that he did this because his brother stole his identify.

[up] x 4 Simonsolly: Looks good! I searched the title ... and lo and behold, the lead character's name is actually spelled "Marshall" (in standard English, the military rank has only one "L"). The only other thing I'd propose is correcting the fragment after Killer Gorilla to a complete sentence.

Ok, I might continue this untill I get my edit back.

White-and-Grey Morality: In Mega Man X4, X and Zero are, unquestionably note , good guys who want to maintain the peace between humans and reploids, which both of them fight if extremely necessary, while General and Colonel are just misguided, well-intentioned extremists who want to gain their independence from the human world. Of course, they did prefer to to fight before reasoning with the hunters.

Also, about Ryoko. Short? sure. Petite?... Not pretty much...

White-and-Grey Morality: In Mega Man X 4, X and Zero are both unquestionablynote , good guys> In Mega Man X 4, X and Zero are both unquestionably good guys (ACI is a YMMV trope, so the note needs to go, and there's no need for a comma there.)

...which both of them fight if extremely necessary > but who are both willing to fight if necessary

...just misguided, well-intentioned extremists (cut the comma here too, it's superfluous. You only need a comma in a list if there are three or more things in it.)

...they did prefer to to fight before reasoning with the hunters > they tend to resort to fighting before trying to reason. (Your first wording isn't strictly wrong, just awkward. However, this is not an example of Honor Before Reason, unless the characters specifically state the only reason they're fighting is because honor requires them to.)

Azura Blu 22: Before I work on this one, I need to ask something. It looks like there are two characters in this work that have the exact same name. How do we usually handle this? What's the preferred method of differentiation between them? I don't think I've ever encountered this situation before.
