Thoughts on the memetic "Steamed Hams" scene?

Hm, well... the original comic started out with gratuitous violence and heavy shock value, but moved on to trying to tell a more serious, emotional story. Maybe the reboot is going to be more subdued from the start? I'm sure it'll still have black comedy, but maybe it'll be more optimistic. I don't know.

Maybe there'll be more characters who are really friendly. Or at least characters who are good at hiding their psychopathic nature.

The creator said she's going to redesign the characters, so I'm really interested to see how that'll turn out. It's hard to imagine Sparklecare in any other style.

For more specific predictions, I really, really hope predict that Nurse Kills will have a bigger role.

I'm glad you asked.

1. Yuri: At the same time I feel bad for her, scared of her, and inescapably attracted to her. She's perf.
2. Sayori: She's supposed to be everyone's favorite, and it somewhat works on me. Sweet and goofy.
3. Monika: I feel really bad for her. Bev says she's bland, and I can agree, which is why she's not my favorite. But, at the same time, I think she was intended to be bland because she is a side-character in the mythos of the game. I think that her story is interesting and tragic, and her calm in the face of glitch was funny to me.
4. Natsuki: Cute and all, but never really barked up my tree. I like how in some playthroughs, she's left as the last sane one, which is interesting. Just a little too young-looking for my taste.
5. Amy: Fuckin' likes spiders. Bitch.

I do. I haven't played Portal 2, but the first game left a strong impression on me. Then again, I think I saw somewhere that most of the people that worked on both games had left Valve already. If they do make another sequel, I'm afraid that it won't approach the quality of the first two games.

What was your favourite enemy from Shivering Isles? That had some really underappreciated mobs, if y'ask me. My favourites are the Gnarls.

The Suck Cannon, hands down. It's awesome and it's practical! A godsend against the final boss and it could suck up all of its mines and minions when you'd run out of ammo for all your other weapons, especially when upgraded to the Gold Suck Cannon. It was even better when it returned in Up Your Arsenal and it could suck up crates as well as enemies. The only drawback is the slightly suggestive name, but that's par for the course when it comes to the series as a whole. :V

Favourite weapon in the Ratchet & Clank series?

I mainly use Gratuitous German because Germany is normally associated with having some of the best engineers in the entire world (which, naturally, lines up with my interest in mechanical things) and because some of my favourite characters seem to have German accents (for instance, Blitzwing from Transformers: Animated).

Why do you use Gratuitous German for laughs, as opposed to any other Gratuitous Foreign Language?

I can relate. I don't always like them, but I can relate.

Being a parent means having lots of feelings. Some of them are good. Others, not so much. The pride that comes with having a bright child can cause a parent to become an overbearing Education Mama. The intense worry about one's child can cause someone to turn into My Beloved Smother, Almighty Mom, or Mama Bear. And, unfortunately, dealing with sass and tantrums from a three-year-old Enfant Terrible (because they all get that way sometimes when they're three) can cause even the most level-headed mom to fly into a rage.

So, seeing aggressive mother characters makes me think, "Yeah, I've been that worried before. I've been that pissed off before. I've wanted a bright future for my kid that badly before." I cringe when I see them make decisions that are actually bad for their kids, though. Lookin' at you, Abusive Parents and My Beloved Smother and Stage Mom.

This is probably the dumbest question I've ever asked on this thread.

While I'm contractually obliged to say that I hate Teen Titans Go!, I don't like any of the characters there. So I'll go with my Guilty Pleasure, Pororo the Little Penguin. I had a strange liking to it as a teen because I drew fanart of the characters as Pokémon, but now I'm in a love/hate relationship with it because while I'm now aware of the annoying aspects of it, my heart still flutters whenever I see my cousins once removed (kids of my cousins) watch it.

Now back to your question. I think I like Petty because she acts as Pororo's better half. Forgive me if I got that wrong, but it's been a long time since I last watched an episode.

Have a favorite fanartist?

As far as newcomers go, I'd like to see Spring Man, one new Mario character (either Waluigi, Toad/Captain Toad, or maybe even Birdo), Bandana Dee or maybe some Kirby enemy, Rayman, Bomberman, Crash Bandicoot, or Banjo/Kazooie.

My top picks for a new playable Pokémon (I'm expecting at least two) are:

• If it's a Gen VII Pokémon: Either Incineroar, Primarina (maybe they could somehow make a pinniped character work?), Mimikyu, Tsareena, or maybe Salazzle. I say, clinging to hope that the archer owl that I honestly find overrated isn't the only Gen VII newcomer we get.
• If it's some other Pokémon: Zoroark (needs its time to shine), Flygon (favorite Pokémon bias ), Goodra (see Flygon), Ludicolo (it'd make a great off-the-wall choice if you ask me), or a Gen VIII Pokémon.

As far as new Pokéball summons go, I don't really have a specific one I'm expecting to see, but I'm hoping that Primarina (or Popplio) at least gets in that way even if it doesn't end up playable.

What weapon would you think you'd be if you were a weapon in Soul Eater?

Well, you'd expect me to say Osomatsu-kun, yeah? (Fun fact, it actually used to be lost media but the physical master files were found and it was promptly released on DVD.) But honestly I'd say Gegege no Kitaro because of how influential and famous it is.

I want to go to Nakano Broadway, a vintage mall. Not only does it have amazing huge stores of vintage anime goods (60s Iyami wind up here I come), but a famous giant ice cream (my favorite food!) and a Takashi Murakami restaurant, adorned with his artwork and the original Luxor suit used in the Jellyfish Eyes movie.

Puppycorn, of course. I guess giving Unikitty a dog counterpart was inevitable, so I'm glad they made him just as cheerful and friendly as Unikitty, rather than being like an evil version of her or something.

nintendo's investors Hm... kinda hard to say, as the creator I pretty much love them all x3 Even characters whose inspiration I'm... not very fond of like EA and Konami are still fun to write and make for some amusing "villains" :3 But there are of course characters I like more than others and for a character I don't like as much as most of the others AND has appeared more than once or twice... maybe PC, a lot of his character is just being a jab at "PC Master Race" types (I generally prefer making jabs at the company rather than the fanbase in most cases, but since "PC" isn't a company but I still wanted to represent PC gaming as a platform, well...) and being a jerk to the main 3. Plus there's how it can be hard to write him in relation to Microsoft since Micro is both a Consoler AND the creator of Windows^note though originally and very early Sony and Microsoft were meant to ONLY represent their video game subsidiaries ...so he'd hate him for the former but not the latter? ^note though in the Xbox origin story it's shown that PC gets jealous about Microsoft now also focusing on a console And even then I like his Non-Standard Character Design (as a computer screen object head)
