What a horrible way to raise a kid. You'll notice that most of the kids in those things are rebellious and hate it...
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now? What kind of fool shoots at something that didn't react to the first hit.
Maybe they missed I don't know.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey.."Spend more than one day at a university and you'll find that real mathematicians are usually less insane than the rest of the population."
Stand up against pinkwashing, don't fall for propoganda"Impractical in a real battle, although some of the less-experienced high-ranking Imperials seem to insist on them..."
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.I don't know how people don't have feelings or Lack of Empathy naturally.
Some people were just meant to make the world burn, I suppose. You know, so heroes could stop them.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..So that's why you have all those cattle. Those things are creepy.

You have to treat the darkness with the respect it deserves, no more and no less. If you run from it, you'll never get anything done. If you abuse it, it's gonna eat you. The darkness is sacred, and should be treated as such.
...I didn't know I had that in me...
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now?Hmm... once I would not have cared about the speeches of such people. I would have seen it as rambling and irrelevant. I was a Rōnin on a Musha shugyō, afterall, with a simple goal; to become a true master of the sword. Invincible Under the Heavens, as they once called my father. There was no mysticism to that path, it was a road of confronting and defeating other men with strength and speed and guile. Philosophy didn't play into it.
As time passed and my journey continued, I began to rethink that. To Be a Master was more than being simply faster or stronger or more pragmatic or more ruthless than the next man. If it was, men like Hozoin In'ei and Yagyu Sekishusai would not be what they are. When I met Sekishusai, despite the fact that he was an old man, sick, and ready to be cut down, his spirit was so great it defeated me without even trying. I felt so small beside him, like an ant next to a mountain. All my life, I had dedicated myself to the idea of being the Invincible Swordsman, the demon that no man could defeat. Meeting Sekishusai showed me far beyond me such a thing truly was. And yet he had no bloodlust, no wish to kill.
Even before I met Sekishusai, I had started to become weary of the warrior's life. So many of the men I fought, even those with reputation, were unworthy wretches. All style, no substance, no heart, and all too willing to "avenge their honor" by attempting to back stab a man who defeated them. As though such an act could ever redeem what little honor they might have! What did I gain by defeating them? Nothing. What could it possibly prove? How could men like In'ei and Sekishusai still revere the Martial Arts and kenjutsu at their age, if that was all there was to it? And so I learned to look at things around me differently, to find greater respect for life and the world around me. For the first time my vision extended farther than my sword, and I saw how much more there was to the world.
I suppose my younger self would scoff, and and mock me for what I'm saying. He'd say I became a man of words, instead of action, and words are cheap. And he'd have reason to feel cynical, I met several samurai who tried to act like philosophers and tell me that they could see the outcome of a fight before it started and that I would throw my life away if I fought them. At least one then surrendered without even trying to fight me once I defeated all his students at once. And yet, there is more to the way of the sword than simply my own strength. If that was all the way of the sword meant, then it would be a tiny, insignificant thing indeed.
So... some philosophers are windbags and frauds, the same way that some swordsmen are. But some know what they're talking about, and it's always worth listening to such people.
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |It really makes me sad that after all the power Trunks had, he wasted it on being a layabout. Just like Kakarot's sons.
From what I've seen from your timeline, Gohan and Trunks are scholars.
And what about you, huh. You don't even train anymore. Not like there's a need.
This is hopeless.

I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..He promptly writes a Heavy Meta song about this.
The possum is a potential perpetrator; he did place possum poo in the plum pot.Well, Christ, it's certainly not me. I make one little slip-of-the-tongue and the media are on me like fat kids on a cake. Oh, shit, I've done it again—look, I know that was politically incorrect, and I'm sorry, but I've—I've just got so much on my fucking plate. Don't even ask me what "unfazed" means, I literally cannot imagine being in that state. I fucking hate this place.
I—Shit, I don't know, just analyze The Protagonist, I don't have time for this.
(Once she's done hugging him...)
Not much to say, except this. You are the protagonist of your own story. And in a good story, the protagonist actually does something. And you want your life to be a good story. Always remember that.
The Main Characters Do Everything
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now?"Yeah, what's up with that? The male prossie and his ugly wife don't even do it well, neither. It's just bollocks, innit? You're all ready rip out their guts and make a nice scarf out of their intestines and then they pull this heroic bullshit. Ain't no way they woulda survived if they background characters. Give a nutter a break, eh?"
Stand up against pinkwashing, don't fall for propogandaWhen you're a Saiyan, everything can be done more awesomely! I love it when Chaotzu uses his Psychic powers to pass me the remote when he comes over. And who didn't like it when Cell ate that bean I gave him?
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..Now, you—you see, this is exactly the sort of namby-pamby nonsense we're always pushing, isn't it? This sort of—I don't know, "Follow your dreams, if you just try hard enough you'll succeed" line. And it's bullshit, it's all fucking—it's all just horseshit. No, it's dog shit, because if you throw a basketball at a golden retriever, it's not going to catch it and make a basket and win the game, you're just going to end up with an injured dog and a shitload of vet bills, and you've no one to blame but yourself, because God knows the fucking government isn't going to do anything about it. We should—we should stop pushing this kind of moral, it's not a real moral, it's just idealistic drivel that teaches kids that the world isn't a cold, horrible place, and it is, it fucking is.
I'd like to see you try to tell me about a Crapsack World.

Where do you want me to begin? The part where I live in a world a few years after a nuclear war destroyed all civilization on earth? Or the part where innocent and defenseless people are being slaughtered left and right by giant muscled raiders and/or martial arts masters?

“How long has it been? 23 days?”"I dunno. I think its funny the first time, but you can't just rely on the fourth wall for an easy joke. Not in black comedy. That's just lazy writing, you know. Film has to have substance. Otherwise the anoraks'll be after you."
I was trying to find a way to break the fourth wall in my answer, but I couldn't.
