So I was inspired by the Servants Who Should Never Be Summoned skits that some of us(myself included) have done on the Nasuverse thread to do something like this.

A lot of us must have ideas that stem almost entirely from one idea, but know we'll probably never write (I got a million of them truthfully).

At most, we're unable to get past the initial premise, or even past a single scene.

That's what this thread is for(and hopefully, people will actually do something on it, otherwise, I'll curse all of you).

Basically, use this to put out any one shots you have. Brief ideas that wouldn't be a full story. Complete contextless snippets that don't make any sense, but you still want to get off your chest,

Basically Write some Quick and dirty One shots. Maybe they can even become more than that.

You can put in anything here, even if it's from a series that already has it's own thread(you can cross post them if you like).

Go crazy you animals....

Please. I don't want this to be empty like my Challenge thread.sad

BEHOLD! GUNDAM KAISER HAS ARRIVED, AND WILL SHAMELESSLY WHORE OUT HIS OLD ONESHOTS!

Of Christmas and Dancing Mercenaries: Deadpool shows up at the Marvel superhero community's annual Christmas party, and dances with Carol Danvers. Shamelessly ships them, as well as some Toy Ship for Franklin/Hope.

God Within: The End Of Evangelion.... as written by Gai Daigoji and Yami Yugi. Alternately, End Of Evangelion meets Gurren Lagann. Testosterone Poisoning, or Rated M for Manly? You decide!

Cross-Compatible: What If? Shinji got inside EVA-02 during the cross-EVA sync test, and the soul inside it - Asuka's mother, BTW - was Shinji's biggest fangirl ever? EVA meets Gun Buster, with one pointless Shout-Out after another.

Down the Rabbit Hole: Fate/stay night crackfic to the extreme. Shinji's acting like Alex Louis Armstrong, every other woman is trying to force her way into Shirou's pants, and Taiga introduces Shirou and Rin to her new fiancée, while Kirei is at his trolling finest.

happily ever after: Gurren Lagann crossover with Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Homura wanted Madoka not to contract, so Simon the Digger arrives by Deus ex Machina. I think you know what happens next.

A Full Metal Valentine: Exactly What It Says on the Tin: a Full Metal Panic Valentine's Day fic.

And then this one, I just posted the other day.

Cynically Silver: a Film Noir-esque story starring Subaru as a detective.

Some of these are set for sequels whenever I can get motivated, or might get sequels/updates if interest is high enough.

Would a story composed of loosely connected oneshots count?

Of Mathematicians and Lizards: a Tangled fic about how Rapunzel and Pascal might have met. TV Tropes-approved!

The Factory: a crack-ish Doctor Who story that speculates on where all those pesky little Daleks keep coming from.

Cactus Juice: a Rango fic in which the eponymous liquid is used as an allegory. Better Than It Sounds, hopefully.

Fly Away: a series of what will eventually be 100 oneshots for How To Train Your Dragon, based on the common "Hiccup leaves Berk halfway through the movie" AU.

Sure thing.

You can also put Ideas here in a manner similar to the Servants Who Should Never be Summoned stories as well. Something right off the top of your head(which is how I do those stories actually).

This is good though. Keep it coming.

Those I want to highlight: my first fanfic was an oneshot, Life and Death of Mr. Coconut, a Total Drama fanfic and I think it's still good.

I also wrote Big Brother's Paradise, from Nineteen Eighty-Four, it'd be cool if I find someone to sing it, hehe.

Recently, I wrote A Chapter on the Beginnings of Gensokyo, from Touhou, in which I had inspiration from a dream.

I've written quite a few. All but one of them for Touhou.

War is Heck, a totally-serious-I-swear story about the atrocities of war, and how it affects both sides. Maybe.

Scarlet Heart, a shipfic between Remilia/Flandre. I'd decided to challenge myself with an incest theme for some reaqson.

Notice Me Reimu!, a crackfic.

The Woman in the Woods, my attempt at a creepy tone.

Predator Stalks the Night, in which Rumia hunts.

And finally, First Step, written for a friend and set a few weeks after A's.

I guess I can share a few that I did over the years...

You can review them if you wish.

Crisis is a Resident Evil fic that I did that combines all Umbrella security personnel from the UBCS and the USS from the mainverse, Paul Andersonverse and the Wildstormverse.

Being Careful is another Resident Evil fic that I did if HUNK was really careful in finishing Birkin off, averting the events of RE2 and 3.

Duo is a crossover between the events of Batman Begins and post-1st season/OVA of Darker than Black.

Questions is something I did for Manga/Jiraishin since I'm a fan of it.

Failure is probably one of the few Gundam UC fics that ships on Kamille and Emma. Yes, I am serious.

Slice of Life is one of the first fics I did for Centurions when the said category existed in FF.net.

Women is a Sekirei fic where I make fun of the Minato/Miya/Karasuba triangle. evil grin

Stalker is an attempt to do a humor fic for Casshern Sins.

Attack Wave is a parody of Gundam 00's 3rd episode in Season 2.

Operation Sumeragi Rescue is a parody of the same episode in the same season as above. I read a manga panel of Setsuna picking up Sumeragi even though she's got nothing but a blanket to cover her naked body. evil grin

A while back, I wrote a fanfic parodying the beginning of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. In the first episode of Power Rangers, Rita is released from her canister on the moon yet suffers no ill effects from being on the moon. Not so in Rita on the Moon.

Random Kingdom Hearts / Ranma One Half crossover idea I had. I am unlikely to ever continue it.

Ryouga lashed out yet again. A swift kick. A quick jab. An openhanded strike, followed up with a sweep. Nevertheless, his opponents kept coming. It was like he was swinging at shadows.

And judging by their appearances, that's just what he would have called them. Aside from their bright yellow eyes, they were completely black. Most of his attacks didn't seem to faze them, often passing through them without any effect at all. Often, they even seemed to meld into the ground, only to rise back up at a different location. Were it not for the scratches they were leaving all over him and his clothing, he'd pass them off as immaterial hallucinations. But at the very least, the claws of these creatures were solid. Solid enough to hurt him despite his Bakusai Tenketsu hardened flesh. And these things were everywhere.

He didn't know what he'd done to draw the attention of this horde of tiny, shadowy monsters, but since they first began attacking him, more and more kept showing up. And unfortunately for him, he'd decided to try to fend them off instead of just running.

At this point, there were far too many of them to count, and they weren't giving him a chance to break free and escape. It was utterly hopeless. He was going to die, and there was nothing he could do about it.

“SHISHI HOKODAN!”

The blast washed over them. Unlike his more physical attacks, the ki blast actually seemed to do some damage, sending several of the creatures flying. More importantly, it cleared a path for him to escape.

One that quickly closed, as dozens more of the things rose from the ground. “NO!” Ryouga cried, immediately crossing his arms before his chest for a second time. “SHISHI HOKODAN!”

Not even waiting for the ki blast to fade from sight, Ryouga immediately took off down the path he'd cleared. He made it all of half a dozen steps before he felt claws sink into his leg. With a yelp of pain, Ryouga stumbled, but managed to keep running. But it wasn't enough. More and more of the shadow-things began landing on him, and soon it was like he'd never made the attempt to escape from the mob in the first place.

Was this how it was going to end? Swarmed to death by a bunch of shadow monsters somewhere in France? (He was actually in Tokyo, Japan.) No! There was still so much to do! He still had to cure himself of his curse! He still had to marry Akari! He still had to beat Ranma in a fight! Ryouga felt his despair claw its way to the center of his mind, and he put it to use.

A pillar of ki lanced its way into the sky.

0o0o0

Ranma didn't know what these shadow-things were. He'd been on his way back to the dojo after an Akane-airlines flight to the far end of the city when they'd just started showing up out of nowhere and attacking people. He'd tried to fend off the ones that had gone after him, but had quickly realized that physical attacks had no effect on them. Wrapping himself in his battle aura allowed him to at least touch them, but they still didn't seem to take any damage. His Moko Takabisha worked better, but there were just too many of the things to try to finish them all off with ki blasts. He'd be completely exhausted in minutes. The creatures didn't seem to produce ki, so the Hiryu Shouten Ha was out. Fortunately, the Saotome Anything Goes style was nothing if not adaptable. And Ranma had just the technique in mind to get him out of this.

“SAOTOME FINAL TECHNIQUE!” Ranma yelled. And then he booked it.

Fortunately, most of the creatures didn't seem too interested in him, instead going after people that were less troublesome to take down. And those that went after him quickly found themselves swatted away or unable to keep up with him.

I have to get back to the dojo, thought Ranma, looking at the storm clouds covering the sky. If I'm having trouble with these things, Aka... Pop and the Tendos will need all the help they can get! Hurricane force winds battered the boy as he leapt from roof to roof, making his way toward Nerima as quickly as he could. Despite his efforts, even the weather seemed to be doing everything in its power to slow him down. Just then, Ranma found his attention drawn to a massive green pillar of light.

Ryouga? Ranma immediately changed direction toward where the light had come from. Hopefully the lost idiot would be able to help him with whatever the hell was going on. Or at least explain what the hell he'd done to cause all this.

That all the little shadow-things abruptly started heading in that direction as well did not escape Ranma's notice.

0o0o0

Ryouga swore. There were just too many of the damn things. Even a Perfect Shishi Hokodan wasn't enough to get rid of all of them. And more kept coming.

He kept launching Shishi Hokodans. It was getting easier and easier. That the swarm was just getting bigger and bigger in spite of his efforts was more than enough to supply the despair the attack needed.

But soon enough, he felt himself running dry. All the despair in the world wouldn't be enough to power the attack if he didn't have any ki left. And yet the things just kept coming.

Ryouga knew he was going to die. At this point, it wasn't just something he was telling himself to power his ki attack. It was something he knew. But if nothing else, he was going to go down fighting.

And then Ryouga felt a weight in his right hand. And with it, Ryouga felt the power he'd desperately needed returning to him. Ryouga looked down at the power source he now felt within his grasp. And saw a big, stupid looking key. “What the f-”

Ryouga's words were cut off several dozen heartless abruptly dog-piled him.

0o0o0

Ranma slowed as he saw what seemed to be a writhing ocean of blackness, interspersed with hundreds of pairs of glowing yellow spots. At first, that was all he could see. But he could hear grunts of frustration and effort, and every once in a while, he would see blasts of light. And all of a sudden, he caught a glimpse of Ryouga.

Ranma swore. As soon as he'd lain eyes on the swarm, he'd known Ryouga was in the middle of it, but now he actually had visual confirmation. For a moment, he considered just going back to the dojo and trying to keep Aka- Pop and the Tendos safe on his own. But he still didn't know what was going on, and Ryouga seemed to be the cause of everything (or at least involved in it), so the best chance of fixing things was getting a hold of the lost moron. With a grunt of frustration, Ranma leapt into the horde.

Strangely, the shadow-things all seemed to be ignoring him, instead focusing on trying to get to the center of the swarm. To Ryouga. Which was good (for Ranma), since there was no way he'd be able to handle that many of them at once.

Suddenly, there was a cry of agony from the center of the swarm. Ranma stiffened in surprise, then redoubled his effort to get to the center. Which became alarmingly easy, as the numerous shadow-things began slipping into the ground and leaving the area.

“Crap crap crap crap CRAP!” As Ranma suddenly found his way unbarred and the ground looking like someone had spray painted the whole thing pitch black, he ran forward. But no matter where he looked, Ryouga was gone, and soon the blackness began withdrawing from the ground, leaving only cracked and destroyed asphalt, rock, and dirt.

“RYOUGA!” shouted Ranma. Nobody answered. Nearby lay the destroyed remains of his rival's pack. Ranma bent down, picking up a tattered bandanna from the ground. For several seconds, he held it in silence. A crack of thunder accentuated the dreariness of the scene. Rain began to fall, transforming Ranma into a girl.

Unnoticed by Ranma, a massive, pig-like shadowy beast rose from the ground behind him. Only to suddenly transform into a much, much smaller pig-like shadowy beast as it came into contact with the rain. Silently, it slipped back into the ground.

...I need to get to the dojo, Ranma resolved. Turning, she took a step, only to immediately slip on something. Crashing to the ground, Ranma immediately sat back up, rubbing her knee. “What the heck?!” Next to her sat a giant key.

Ranma picked it up. “What the heck is-”

Ranma's words were cut off as a heartless tackled her from behind.

From there, the plan was that Ranma would manage to fight her way back to the Tendo Dojo just in time to see the world get taken by darkness, then wake up in Traverse Town. From there, Ranma would end up joining a group consisting of other anime/manga characters that had lost their home-worlds that were looking for their friends and family. I hadn't settled on who it was going to be yet. Meanwhile, Ryouga's heartless would stalk Ranma throughout the rest of the fic, and Ryouga's Nobody would be approached by an anime villain take on Organization XIII.

True, but how unlucky are you when the only weapon you have against your enemy is the same thing that's drawing them towards you?

It's just Ryouga's poor luck that the Shishihadoken is powered by despair, and The Heartless feed on negative emotions like that.

I bet if the story had continued, Ranma would have slapped his head at the irony.

Off my own ff.net user profile

Everyone's A Winner. Fairy Tail, Lucy x Levy "crack" (i insist there's some canon basis on this). Spillover from my somewhat more "adult" Deviant Art account, but not M-rated.

Thick As A Brick. Xenoblade, Sharla x Rein. Resolution for all the teasing Monolith put throughout the game but didn't capitalize on.

A Dragon's Wish. Fire Emblem Archanea, brainwashed!Tiki has a meltdown and creates something of an affection-seeking black hole for a few of the female characters (Maria, Minerva, Caeda, and... i forget the fourth one).

How The Bee Stole Christmas. Bleach, YoruSoi. This one is weird, even by my standards, fluffy, sort of crossover-y.

Relationship Hurdles. Bleach, more Yorusoi. M-rated! A lemon, but not entirely without plot, as it does some plumbing on the issues in their relationship.

Guardian Devil. One Piece, Zoro/Robin, although it's not heavy on the shipping, and, i think, could be appreciated by those who don't buy into the ship as it works just the same as nakamaship.

Skuld's Revenge. Ah! My Goddess, no pairing. It's Skuld trying to prank Urd...

Kuma's Vicotry. One Piece, Fan speculation wrapped as a short story. No real point in reading it now that it's basically canon, but it was a neat prediction at the time.

In Her Arms. One Piece, Zoro/Robin, based on the time when Kizaru almost kills Zoro.

Catnip. Fire Emblem Tellius, Jill/Lethe crack.

So, here's a snippet of an idea for a Intercontinuity Crossover of a sorts (different universes remember) for Shin Megami Tensei.

The idea is take multiple characters from as many of the games as possible, take plot elements from many games (For instance, instead of the Messians and Gaians, I was planning on using The Shomonkai and The Phantom Society as the two opposing factions, reuse the idea of a demon Invasion, but have it expand slowly but surely outside of Tokyo(possibly threatening the world) etc. There would also be other factions in between(representing different kinds of Neutral)

I was also going to use as many summon styles as possible like combining the Gump and the [[Persona3 Evoker]] (with obvious caveats for the clear danger of placing an actual gun to your head. It wouldn't be very good way to summon demons and have regular Comps appear as Cell Phones (the idea would be that rather than Cell Phones receiving the Demon Summoning App, there would be Comps made to look like Cell phones so that Demon summoners could more easily go unnoticed).

Also, the Harmonizer would return, to explain why people could survive attacks from Demons (something I think should be used more often truthfully).

There were three more ideas I wanted to mention before I began. First, using any time of Demon Summoning device requires some natural spiritual power, something many don't have. The Comps just let them put it to use. Secondly, if your potential is weak, even if you have a comp, you might not be able to control a demon for very long. And finally, it would be possible for more than one person to control a demon in order to compensate for lack of spiritual power: A shared contract between two potential tamers and any demons they gain. When this happens, a pair of shackles appears on the wrists of said tamers (still working out the mechanics on that one) to symbolize this contract, and to remind that that they are in it together now. If one of them dies, the other will likely join them due to an inability to control demons on their own.

Phew. That was long: Any way here's the quick look at the story that will likely never be: I would have called it...Shin Megami Tensei ;Demon City

It was absolute hell.

Demons roamed the streets everywhere, either under the control of humans, or all on their own. Anyone not strong enough to fight was slaughtered.

Even having a Demon on your side was no guarantee as tamers who lost their contracts could have their Demons turn on them, or might be killed by a stronger Demon or Demon Tamer. It was Pandemonium everywhere.

And through all this terror, all this horror…. sat a Carboard Box.

“Left!! Left!!!” A voice came from the box. “NO! Not that left!!!”

“Well which Left then?!” A different voice, but from the same box.

“Um…Oh, right, my left!”

“So wait! Is it left or right? Because you said Right just now.”

“Left. Definitely Left.”

Two pairs of legs, one wearing Brown shoes and Medium length black stockings, the other wearing Thigh High Black socks and Pink Sandals popped out from the bottom and began to awkwardly walk through the Chaotic streets. They’d gone unnoticed somehow; probably because when Demons were stomping on the collective face of Mankind, worrying about a Box seemed a little pointless.

The Cardboard Box made it’s way into an alley where a truck and some large crates were stored. This is what they’d been looking for.

“I think this is it!” “Oh thank god! We made it!”

Two heads popped out of the box, a Redhead and a Brunette, both still in their teens.

"See it worked! It really worked!" Io cheered. "Ok, ok. You were right. Operation Box was a success." Yuzu breathed a sigh of relief. It was hard to believe they'd made it this far.

The two girls pulled themselves out of the box, folded it up, and hid it away somewhere where it would not be noticed (no need to clue the shomonkai in that there had been someone there). Now there was only one thing left to do.

"Now we just need to find one that can fit us both!" Io said. According to Pixie, the Shomonkai put some kind of barrier on their property that seemed to make it invisible to demons. So the best way to escape Tokyo right now was by hitching a ride in one of their supply crates and just riding right out of the city.

"....They all seem kinda small though." Yuzu looked around, but none of the crates left seemed like they would fit two humans. "....I don't see one! This is bad! What do we do?!" Yuzu started to panic, a common occurence since they had made their joint contract.

"Um...don't give up yet! I'm sure we'll find one!" Io placed a hand on the other girls shoulder. She could not blame the Redhead for being scared and panicking. But that wouldn't save them. Truth be told, Io wanted to just break down herself at times, but that wouldn't help them.

"Right, right. I know." Yuzu tried to keep it together. It was hard, but like Io said, freaking out wouldn't help.

"Hey!" The new voice startled both girls, and they looked up.

"Pixie!" Indeed, it was the Fairy demon that had agreed to contract with them.

"If you humans are done yapping, I found a crate that will fit you both." Both girls were ecstatic.

"That's great!"

"Pixie, you're a life saver!"

"Well of course. Without me, it's just a whiner and a weakling. So someone has to be useful."

"...."

~0~

"Man, this box is heavy!" The robed Shomonkai Grunt complained.

"Tell me about it! What's in this anyway?"

"Beats me. Or I should say, they will beat me if we ask about that stuff. You want any of that?"

The other man shook his head vigourously.

"Then don't ask stuff like that." They loaded the crate onto the truck and left. A few minutes later, it was heading down the roads, unnoticed by any Demons at all.

As for the crate...

"Can you move a bit?"

"No. Can't you?"

"No way. No room at all."

"....PIXIE!!!!"

"What?" The Fairy spoke from the Comp.

"You said this Crate would fit both of us!" Io said.

"I feel like a Sardine in a Can in here!" Yuzu screeched.

"Well, did I say it would fit you comfortably, or did I say it would fit you?"

"..."

"Besides, it's your own faults!" Pixie cut them off when their indignant shrieks made it clear they were offended by Pixie's accusation. "If you weren't both such Boob monsters, there would be way more room.

...........

"I mean, do all female humans get them to just defy gravity like that? How is it even possible?" She was now ranting without care for what her masters felt on the issue, even as both girls grew very, VERY large veins on their foreheads.

"...Not that I'm jealous or anything! Nope, not me!" The phone was turned off before she could keep going on. The girls had heard enough.

"....I'm not a boob monster." Yuzu said bluntly. Though she couldn't help but look down at their busts, which were smashed together, and the main source of their lack of room.

".... Well I'm not either!" Io replied, while also staring at their squashed assets. Some very heavy docking was taking place.

"......"

"You totally are." Pixie somehow managed to get that last word in. Both girls sighed. They had a long trip ahead.

Well, this might have been my longest post ever, but now it's done.

and alsoThrough the rain which is a pokemon fic, Set during the Kyogre Crisis, from the Sapphire game.

and Huffle-Harry which is a summary style story for harry potter, if Harry'd been sorted into hufflepuff. unfortunatly most of the reviewers were pissed it was only a summary style set of scenelets, not a whole 50,000 word novel. it's more humor than serious...
