For the record, "Kaiserreich" is one word in German.
But yes, that's probably the best suggestions. When will we start moving the examples?
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.Agree with naming it Kaiserreich, or possibly Der Kaiserreich (did I use the right article there?).
No, it's Das Kaiserreich. "Der" is masculine; "reich" is neutrum.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMuch appreciated.
Bumping again...
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.Name sounds ok, though to make it official, we should probably swap crowners
Calling this one for the proposed fixes.
Hmm...does anybody have plans to start a YKTTW for The Theme Park Version of the Kaiserreich?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanKaiserreich has been launched.
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.I think this trope already exists as Prussia.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Hm... I think we need another TRS for that thread. Prussia would be better off as a Useful Notes page, while Kaiserreich is the Theme Park Version.
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.While Prussian stereotypes are a big part of the Kaiserreich thing, Prussia is just a substate of the Kaiserreich.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI didn't know Prussia was a state. Either way, there should be a Theme Park Version page, and a Useful Notes page that would be a subset of Useful Notes.Germany.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.So... anyone willing to contribute to the YKTTW?
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.I would, but since my knowledge of the subject is basically zero....
Bumping
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.Okay, the solution for this trope generally seems to be agreed upon, so would it be possible for someone to change the clocking symbol to the star?
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.Nay, we still need a name.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanEveryone seems to agree on Kaiserreich, but if you really want, here's another crowner.

Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.Is anyone still interested in this?
Halper's Law: as the length of an online discussion of minority groups increases, the probability of "SJW" or variations being used = 1.The alt titles crowner is hooked.
I thought "keep as is" was not allowed on an alt.titles crowner? We already had a crowner that decided the name was to be changed.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Yeah, that doesn't sound like a valid option.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhoops. Well... there really wasn't any alternative proposed, and I thought there should be another option. Sorry about that. Can a mod remove it?
Also, here's the new description I made:
- Pickelhauben.
- Arrogant aristocrats, duelling scars and monocles optional.
- An all-pervasive military.
- Gratuitous German. Or something that sounds like it. Or something that some people think sounds like it.
- Confusion as to whether this is the Kaiserreich or the Nazis.
- Vaguely WWI-ish technology, especially ugly box-shaped tanks, U-Boats, and, of course, zeppelins.
- Great big black eagles and Iron Crosses everywhere.
Also, since Prussia should be more of a Useful Notes page, would anyone object to me moving the examples from there to here? I think I'll start up a TRS thread for that when we're done here.
And how about this for a page image?◊

Crown Description:
Fatherland is currently defined as the Fantasy Counterpart Culture of Prussia / Imperial Germany. One issue is that other fantasy counterpart cultures are simply listed on Fantasy Counterpart Culture; sister tropes like Eagleland are simply about "exaggerated stereotypes of a country". Another issue is that Fatherland is the name of several works, and numerous countries besides Germany use it to refer to their country instead.
Yep, I like that.
