Marvel's Civil War. Before that, The Force Awakens
Deadpool (2016). It was a great movie, but it felt like I only saw one half of it.

X-Men: Apocalypse. Good, but not as good as the last two.
BTTF. This goddamn movie is god-tier!
I saw The Nice Guys right after work tonight. It was a fun and suspenseful thrill ride, just what I needed.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Stop Making Sense. I've declared this "concert movie week" for some reason note . This is a really well-filmed show, and I like how focused on dance and body motion it all was, and also the whole structure where they start with just David Byrne, an acoustic guitar, and a pre-recorded drum machine loop and gradually add musicians until there's nine people on stage.
An episode of the BBC/Discovery Channel co-production "Surviving Disaster" - Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster, starring Adrian Edmonson in an extremely uncharacteristic role as Valery Legasov -

who headed up the commission dealing with the causes of the disaster at Reactor Number 4.
Horrifying stuff.
The BBC Fleetwood Mac documentary, "Don't Stop". Should be titled "Don't Stop Watching This Bloody Thing" as I seem to have it on repeat.
Star Wars The Force Awakens. I liked it enough, even though Adam Driver's unaltered voice made him lose all threat credibility.
"Rich Hall's You Can Go To Hell, I'm Going To Texas" - one of his utterly brilliant BBC 4 documentaries on American history, myth and culture. If I was Texan, though, I'd want to run that varmint out of town on a rail.

The Exorcist. I honestly expected it to not be as scary as the hype says, but I was delightfully creeped out by it.

Goldeneye.
Same here. Definitely a wonderfully frightening movie. I've only seen the 2000 re-release, and despite the spider-walk and the subliminal images being considered narm, I found them incredibly creepy. Don't think I'd like the original release as much if I ever saw it.
Last movie I watched was Speed Racer. HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME Loved every minute of its exciting, trippy visuals, loved the characterization (Speed's better developed as a character in this movie than he ever was in the anime), loved how the family dynamic from the series was incorporated and expanded on (Mom Racer is an actual character!), loved seeing the anime translated so faithfully, without any self-parody or cynicism. Loved the twist about Rex...which got twisted as well. Loved the way exposition was handled. I just...loved this movie. Definitely worth watching, even if you've never seen the anime.

Weird in a Can (updated M-F)The Highwaymen live in concert. For the uninitiated, that's Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson - four of the greatest Country and Western singers of all time - still kicking it.
Fourth man out. What a piece of shit.
Your face speaks for itself Bob.
Juan Of The Dead. Imagine Shaun Of The Dead, but in Cuba, with a a loser father who sleeps with women, a Drag Queen that kill zombies with childĀ“s toys, and political satire. I laughed myself off, and I felt related, due to Venezuela horrible status, so the movie gave me a sense of catharsis.
The drag queen is going to rub a lot of people in the wrong way, but he is quite the badass, killing zombies with a slingshot, and a huge giant who fades out with blood.
Is black comedy, but even then, I have a sort of trigger when the old ladies die in the movie. It's my soft spot, I don't like to see old women, who are innocent during all of this, die due to the heroes idiocy. They remind me of my grandma, but that's my only complain. Love the movie!
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.GoodFellas. Still just as good as the first time, and most likely will be when I decide to watch it again.

The World Without US. It was pretty interesting. It had a bit of a Downer Ending, though. Well, a speculative downer ending, but one nonetheless.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Zoolander. Still ridiculously good looking.
The Angry Birds Movie. I liked it.
