A Bizarro Fiction novel about an alternate Earth that is being slowly sucked into a black hole. Each chapter takes place closer and closer to the event horizon. By the end of the book, the Earth and its tortured population have become a sort of Eldritch Location, as landing there will reveal to a person all of time and space, while also trapping them forever at the precipice of the void.

A low-budget horror movie with heavy Hollywood Satanism themes. It is about a cult who have so far made do with goat sacrifices (gruesomely depicted on-screen for the shock value) but are slowly slipping even further into insanity, either because of heavy drug usage or genuine demonic influence. Anyway, they start kidnapping people (mostly teenage girls) and a duo of protagonists (a boyfriend of one of the kidnapped girls, and an Agent Mulder cop) set off to take the cult down. You know, generic horror movie stuff.

On their graduation day, they make a promise to remain friends, though Yuzuki is going to stay in their hometown and work for her father's company while Ayano goes to college in the city. They grow apart over the years, and Yuzuki ends up marrying her childhood crush and having children, while Ayano becomes increasingly reclusive.

Teddy, a misanthropic orphan who suffered hardship and abuse from numerous foster parents while growing up plans to track down his mother... and kill her as an act of revenge for being born. His journey begins in Cincinnati where he meets up with a stoner couple who offer to give him a ride to Palm Springs, where his mother is supposedly resides. On the way, the couple try to show Teddy the brighter side of life. It doesn't quite work, with Teddy's mother being revealed to be a Complete Monster who happily abandoned him to run off to Hollywood and got married to a hapless plastic surgeon and had a daughter, both of whom she regularly abuses. Together, they all plot her demise. Teddy and his half-sister form a friendship, and he is determined to help raise her to be better than their mother.

Hot-blooded Catholic Space Nazi
The gods of Norse mythology have grown weak over centuries of neglect, since they gain their powers from a large amount of people fighting and dying in their names. They are so frail that they all have to hide in the soul of a human just to keep their spiritual energy from fading away.
The protagonist, which was the human they chose to safeguard them, is an itinerant hobo in the prime of his manhood. He lives in the United States, and he lost his home when some bureaucrat from the government decided to demolish his entire neighborhood. Eventually, he lost his job as an office drone when he always came to work looking like a beggar. It was hard to clean yourself up when you worked minimum wage and had limited access to showers and laundry.
Finally, with nothing to do with his life, thinking that he was unlikely to survive the next month anyway, he decides to embark on a transcontinental trip around America so that he could enjoy what was left of his life. The gods were impressed with the young man's spirit, because in a way it told them that even if they were so close to death, they shouldn't give up and enjoy what was left of your life.
Soon, both the gods and the hobo find out that making the trip was harder than they thought. The horrors of homelessness have caught up to them as they frequently bump into psychopaths, hungry thieves, and con men. With the assistance of the gods themselves, the hobo survives these ordeals by the skin of his teeth. But not only do they have to contend with troublesome characters, they have to deal with the harsh winter, the animals of the wild, and the various temptations of evil that plague every human being.
Promises are made and broken. Death strikes when you least expect it. And the gods learn that there is more to a man other than being a source of their spiritual energy, for they get to see first hand the rigors of living as a mortal being. Gradually, these divine spirits grow more and more human with each experience, becoming a part of the hobo's soul, and the hobo becoming a part of the gods.

Dhux's Scar is Two Fisted Tale/Film Noir about a gritty, hardened man on the quest to find a lost artifact....in a parallel universe ruled by anthropormorphic felines that basically Tastes Like Diabetes.

A series of books detailing the life of the soldiers of a large warlike nation that is very ambiguously communist. This nation has a naming theme for its units: The name of a medieval weapon and the number of soldiers in it. The Warhammer 40 000 unit is one of their Cannon Fodder infantry divisions. The books go to great lengths to establish the War Is Hell aesop that the author is really trying to hammer in. For good reason, since the author is a Russian WW 2 veteran.
