What would your character do in the above situation?

Elise and Antoni both squee and play with them.

Your character is tasked with doing yardwork. More specifically, they need to trim tree branches. How do they get it done, if they even do?

Peter burns the whole yard down.

Curtis does the yard work, and he's more than happy to do it.

Your character is inspired to make up for a truly terrible thing they've done in their past. What is that terrible thing and how do they make up for it?

Calia: Being unable to control herself when her Guardian Entity took over led to a serious amount of lives lost. As such, she vows to protect the planet from similar incidents where other Gifted go through their "rite of passage" to prevent the loss of lives.

AC (MASSIVE SPOILERS AHOY): Due to his Slow Transformation into an energy alien, he eventually had to betray his protectee Calia as well as her friends, eventually turning over to the enemy side. He does muster up a bit of conscience to drag the villain into a pocket dimension where he is never seen again... until many years later, during Calia's ascension to an Arcane Being. There, he makes up to her and fulfills his duty as a bodyguard by taking a bullet for her when she's in a vulnerable state.

Your character is assigned a task that is far from their expertise (basically the task they're least suited for). How do they go about doing it?

Webcomic world (20 Minutes into the Future):

Jillian would just ask June and, depending on her mood, probably still let June take all the credit.

June, being a Bunny-Ears Lawyer, would try to do as much as she can on her own, but still realize her own limitations and either a.) figure out on her own how to do it, or b.) ask someone more skilled for help.

Story world (much further into the future):

Pretty much everyone would have access to the virtual world, where a sufficiently skilled AI could either walk them through it, or do it for them.

Your character meets a gender-flipped version of themself, and said gender-flipped version has a crush on them.

Elise would be flustered, but probably end up reciprocating, especially if he's hot.

Antoni is almost painfully shy, and paranoid as all get-out due to years of being on the run, so he and his duplicate would assume that the other is a malevolent Fae or something and either leave quickly or try and fight.

Your character has a water bottle thrown at them, a la Justin Bieber. What do?

Yuri would pick up the water bottle and give it back to him, because he's basically the type of guy who would allow people to hit him and he would forgive them for everything they did to him, but only against him. Anybody else would get him irritated and shoot out a glare.

Your character is facing off against someone who can manipulate all boundaries. And they have to fight them. What do they do?

In Nova's world, "manipulating all boundaries" is known by another name: forging. A scientific process that people like her can utilize for many things, including combat. So this is a typical duel for her.

Peter figures the best way to deal with someone who can make the universe their bitch with their mind is to mess with said mind. Primarily, he keeps making them think of random things like elephants and playing songs that get stuck in your head. He gets turned into a platypus for his trouble.

Your character gets caught in a "Groundhog Day" Loop. What do they do when they realize their actions have no consequences?

Yuri would try to find a way out of the loop, because a life without consequence to him, is not a life worth living.

Your character is given an army to take down a single man, who also happens to be a cross between a Magic Knight, Kung-Fu Wizard, and The Archmage. And he is not willing at all to have peace with you. What do you do?

One man? Gabriel tells the army to take five while he goes to beat the snot out of the guy, followed by a misguided attempt to enforce Defeat Means Friendship.

An apocalypse hits your worlds, and your character is put in the position of having to run a government for the survivors. What do they do?

Assuming that they can't get reinforcements from their Orbital Ring Space Station...

Calia would probably make a government similar to the one her father was in charge of, thanks to her experience with her dad's politics books. She'd get the Gifted to use their powers to find and help other survivors, and rebuild the world no matter what the cost.

AC: He would probably reluctantly call in the Enforcers to help the people, since he doesn't have much experience in politics. They'd do a great job getting everybody out of the mess... but that would mean they'd have to become Enforcer allies.

Amber: Hoo boy, this is so going to be a military government, since she's The General's Daughter and a unit leader of an army.

Your character is caught in The Magic Versus Technology War.

Gabriel is a vampire who can't wait for spaceships to be invented so that he can fight an intergalactic war. He doesn't really have an ideological stake in either side. He'll probably wind up fighting both sides, getting into battles purely based on what opportunities to get involved present themselves. Depending on the scale of the conflict, the sides may even be forced into a truce before he causes things to escalate beyond what either side is willing to see (If the masquerade is at all an issue they'll have to seriously worry about him disregarding it completely the longer the fight goes on).

Your character must play devil's advocate against their most deeply held beliefs

Hmm, this will be interesting...

Phoebe will sleep in the same bed with a boy her age because it "helps deconstruct gender differences".

Ashleigh will dress in sexy lingerie and trip on acid with a group of atheists, her logic basically being "YOLO".

Yamiko will express sympathy and say a prayer whenever she hears about a massacre, suicide, or other such crime involving complete strangers.

Halberd will attend a paranormal studies class and find the material interesting.

Merlin will write a scientific paper on why most supernatural phenomena are not feasible. He'll also get into politics and help lobby against marijuana legalization.

Zuri will join an atheist organization, and also play Luigi's Mansion.

Vicky will tell a child that it's unhealthy to have imaginary friends, and also that psychic powers don't really exist.

Amanda will speak out against child abuse and animal cruelty.

Maia and Katami, the goddesses of Light and Darkness respectively, will explore the idea of fusing together into one.

How about this situation:

Your character gazes into the Mirror of Erised^note A magical mirror that shows the person achieving their deepest, most desperate desires. BTW, Erised is "desire" spelt backwards.. What do they see?

Eveleen sees a night sky full of stars.

Peter sees a mountain of cocaine.

Jhonen sees everyone The Viper has taken from him.

Your character wakes up to find that they have an incredibly large zit on their forehead.

Mella shrugs. Meh. It happens. It's not like she's trying to impress anyone, the people she cares about have seen her in far worse shape.

Your character suddenly can understand and be understood in all spoken languages. What do?

Calia would use it to go around her galaxy and to conduct peace talks between Gifted and other races.

Amber would use it to understand what her opponents in war are saying, and probably taunt/insult them in their own language.

Rae would probably contact other races to help her, and expand Terra 102's research stations outside the planet.

AC This actually happens to him as he begins transforming into a Meta- they have a universal translator and get a "universal code" language that all languages can understand. Unfortunately, he's going to be using it for sabotage and infiltration... thanks to being unable to refuse direct orders from his superiors.

Your character somehow gets a hold of extremely secret information that can potentially cause/stop a disaster.

Nova uses the information to prevent disaster.

Peter uses the information to start a disaster.

Stormy uses the information to barter for something else.

Your character witnesses a serious crime and is forced to go into the witness protection program (or in-universe equivalent). They are forced to leave all they know behind and are given a new identity: that of a lowly janitor at an office where everyone belittles them.

Mella puts up with it for all of three days, then tells her handlers "yeah, so, no. I'm gonna go, I have folk who can protect me, I'll check in every month or so? bye."

and then she nopes off into the fantasy world she hangs out in at times.

your character rescues a kitten from a tree. the kitten can talk.

Mattaius would call it's mother-the local version of a cat is sapient anyways; and has full citizenship.

If Rodderick rescued anything from anywhere rather than eat it for lunch, he'd be high as a kite, so he'd take it on an adventure with the Abominable Snowman to the Sherbet Kingdom (although he'd be a little suprised at meeting a talking kitten rather than the pink monkey he usually sees while bombed).

Bone would probably be much like Mattaius.

Siegfried "Sigma" Matthews would go and find out what troubles the cat may have and try to help him without risking himself.

Shiro Kayama would freak out and tell he's gonna call a friend for this... and then he would change into Siegfried Matthews ((i.e. getting his fake thick glasses and brown wig off to reveal his blue eyes and silver hair, then changing his clothing)) and repeat above, trying to not have his identity shown.

Your character(s) rent a beach house for several days. What shenanigans happen?

On Terra 102, a Beach House would inevitably be on the Underworld (i.e. The planet's surface which is a Death World). So AC, Calia, Amber, Melanie and Rae would have some nice shenanigans indeed...

AC and Rae would attempt to run away from the other 3 girls as they inevitably try to get the two into the water (for laughs). Justified though, as AC and Rae actually do get harmed if they touch water.

Calia would be under an umbrella eating a lollipop- she hates the hot sun. And of course Amber (who loves the heat) would try to blow the umbrella away, which would lead to Calia chasing Amber around.

Melanie would be swimming. And probably beating up any ferocious creatures in the ocean.

All 5 of them would be periodically fighting off the Death World creatures on the surface, since attacks on them would be quite often.

Your character needs to convince another two characters to stop fighting each other.

Knowing Darkblade(imagine a shaggot in a big almost invulnerable amour) he will bully the two into submission, he has 0 pacient with insubordination.

Dante will stop the fight and see a oportunity to reason with the two, he is a deamon(long storu) and know how treat others

Razios will try to charm them away, make them think in the greater good(read:his own)

your chararter have betray the confidence of someone close to them, what he/she will do in order to gain his/her trust again?

Nova would need to suck up to Roland a lot before he trusted her again. Like build him a brand new star hopper for starters. It works.

Your character discovers that the source of all the misery in their world is Powered by a Forsaken Child.

Dude would leave Kiddo take care of that, because he can't even care. In case he can't, he'll use an earth-earth missile.

Kiddo would tear that thing a new one and rescue the child before it all blows in pieces. Nothing bad for a gorilla with a T-Shirt.

A god/dess fell in love with your character. Goddess of what and how would that be?
