What would your character do in the above situation?

Felix would invoke Absentee Authority—that is, "I don't care about any of you people, I'm the Commander, I've gotta go save the multiverse, BRB."

Rose wouldn't invoke authority first. She'd just leave, putting everyone else in a state of shock.

Ashley: "If I may, sir..." *opens curtains* "I think that thing is a bigger problem than last week's budget reports."

Arthur would have someone else kill it, preferably Felix. This is called delegation. If he had to kill it, he'd find a way to multitask.

The military surrounds your character's house. Like, the whole thing.

Cara: "God dammit, here we go again."

Varien: "We've done wrong, have we not?"

NOS: "Hey guys. Sorry about that uh, incident with the city and the blood pillar."

Zak would be... almost checkmate at this point. Assuming that the military is preparing to attack, when they do, he could just easily zip out of the situation as Mach, but that would make his secret obvious. The best he could do is call for a "friend" to help out, hoping beyond hope they're not busy.

Your character is suddenly threatened with falling off the Empire State Building.

Peter laughs. He lives in "bumf**k nowhere" and is legally required to stay outside the city limits of New York after a minor altercation.

Jhonen takes threats very seriously, in that anyone who threatens him will most likely get shot.

Your character learns that they're a fictional character in an alternate universe, who is adored by fans the world over.

This is actually a thing for my heroes. It's a side-effect of being multiversial heroes.

Felix was like, "whatever."

Rose and Ashley were creeped out.

Arthur was ecstatic.

The character acquires the Midas Touch.

Mella is horrified since bad shit always happens with this, it always goes wrong. Luckily, she has a friend who is a were unicorn who is able to cure her, so that works out (and she keeps the stuff she turned into gold to sell for college money!

your character is 200 years back in time, same city or whatever location, just 200 years in the past. they were not planning this.

Peter sires the entire Stills family line.

Eveleen uses this opportunity to find out more about herself, as well as maybe find a way to ease the inevitable suffering of the people of her world.

Sigma would pull out his phone and undo it. He does that all time, so has no worries

Mattaius would be intrigued since Baleful Polymorph doesn't exist in conventional sorcery. He'd perform some experiments in an attempt to fix things, and meticulously record everything.

Rodderick would Just Eat Him. Anyone who can't keep themselves from being turned into a bunny deserves it.

Bone would wonder what costume would go well with his wife's.

Your character fights off a girl's Bastard Boyfriend, whereupon she clamps onto their leg and adresses them as "Master". Your character has won someone's life in a duel!

Calia would get the boyfriend arrested, then call the authorities to seek help for the girl. If this is a Honey Trap though she'd get the girl arrested too.

Amber would immediately shove the girl away and call her a weakling for not being able to stand to her boyfriend.

Rae would ask if the girl's alright and try to make friends with her, but would prefer that the girl doesn't cling onto her like that.

Melanie: If she's in a good mood after the fight, she'd tell the girl that she's busy but get help for the girl. If she's in a bad mood... that girl is going down too.

AC would become friends with the girl, but if he finds out that it's a Honey Trap he'd plant a lightblade between her eyes.

Your character is at home/work/doing something when somebody they thought to be long dead visits them.

Zak's brain would break. He saw Bloodshot's brutal shooting. Either he's dreaming, or maybe there are undesirable forces at work.

Your character wakes up in a sanitarium room.

Mella groans, because she really thought her parents believed her about the magical fantasy world. she uses the spelled necklace she hopefully still has to contact her friends to bust her out—she just needs physical contact with one of them and she can teleport back to the fantasy world, soooooo

your character is approached by a small child begging for help.

David would feel bad, but he barely has any money himself for a meal, so he ignores the child.

Kevin would give the child some money (either 5 one dollar bills or a $10), and if he has ample time, get them a meal.

Mariana would probably give them some of her food that she carries, but keep money to herself because she has trouble getting by herself.

Your character has lost most, if not all, their money.

Something has gone wrong. The Multiversial Defense Force has massive resources, and losing all of it would be a huge problem.

Felix would be working on damage control and telling everyone not to panic.

Rose would be utterly confused and probably scared out of her mind. She'd be clinging to Felix a lot.

Ashley would have some harsh words for the bank.

Arthur would be eating chips while listening to Felix and Ashley yell at everyone.

A friend of the character is having night terrors... except they're too old to be having those.

Mattaius would pray with them and ask them to explain their dream.

Rodderick would laugh at them for being "un-dragon".

Bone would give them a shot of laudnam and see if that worked.

Mattaius would know something's up since Church funds don't just walk away. The treasurer gets Chastised for gambling and replaced.

Rodderick levels the nearest imperial villiage in retaliation for stealing from him before remembering he switched hiding spots for his hoard the other day.

Bone now has to explain how he lost the profits at the horse track again.

Calia would immediately try to turn it into harmless powder. It could be a nasty biohazard and she doesn't want any contamination in her place.

Amber would probably burn the whole fridge.

Melanie would get her Guardian Entity Abyss to grab it and secure it in a magical prison of dark energy so that she can study it.

Rae would try to make friends with it. If that fails she'd probably try to bind it via light energy.

Your character is contacted by a mysterious person who tells them that they have won a vacation to (wherever they'd love to go to most).

Mella is torn between " this is how adventures start" and " shoot it's a trap" and politely declines....if it's a call to adventure, well, it'll call back, if it's a trap, well, she's on her guard and alerts her friends.

Moreena would rationalize it as a coincidence caused by the multiverse being infinite and all that. There's probably stories about everyone. If it turns out that her reality is actually being controlled by... well, me I guess, she might get a bit... upset.

Garkin already sort of suspects that he's stuck in an old-timey (for him) sci-fi series, but actually having it confirmed would likely make him go crazy, unless he uses the same rationalization as Moreena.

Your character meets a person who they thought was fictional. (Basically, Gandalf shows up in the living room of a LOTR fan) What happens?

Mella Squees and Squees hard and asks if she can go back to their world with them (assuming it's not, like, Panem because nope) and then she probably passes out from excitement, particularly if it's a Tamora Pierce character.

Felix still wouldn't be surprised. Hey, it's a multiverse, they have a lot of room.

Rose would fangirl it up, make friends and be best buddies with them forever. Unless they were a villain, in which case, she'd just tell Felix.

Ashley would first find out if it was someone hot. If so, she would hit on them just to troll Felix for a few minutes. If not, she wouldn't care.

Arthur would just chat it up. Like a normal person. He's the real Only Sane Man, even if Felix says otherwise.

IC: Most meta don't consider anything fictional, since they're multidimensional- and reality- travelling beings. But if IC ever met the star of his favourite cartoon show, he'd say hello... then promptly kick his ass when he finds out that said "fictional character" is an Enforcer Meta.

Calia would exchange autographs and immediately try to make good relations with that character. Probably becoming friends with him.

Amber would fangirl over the character and try to take autographs, hang out with him/her, etc...

Your character meets up with an exact copy of themselves.

Eveleen would be accommodating to her copy, she holds no ill will just because she has her face. That is, unless the copy is evil...

Well Peter would certainly not sleep with it, panic about everyone finding out, then kill the copy... again...

Your character has been having a serious streak of bad luck. Nothing they do works out in their favor, and any attempts to make their situation better either fails or backfires spectacularly. How do they react to this near-supernatural level of unluckiness?
