So, as a counterpoint to the other thread, this is where we talk about entries that we find incredibly amusing and intelligent. To start us out, I present the entirety of Real Life, which had me cracking up when I first read it.

From Off-Model on the Hotel Mario page.

In almost every other shot of Mario, he's drawn with an inexplicable amount of flab,

I can't say why I laughed so hard at that.

Our Monsters Are Weird:

In the Hindu epic Ramayana, one of the level bosses—come on, it might as well be a video game—was Kabanda ("Barrel"), a huge torso with a mouth on one end, ringed with sword-wielding arms. It turned out to just be a good-guy demigod that had been punched in the head so hard it got mushed into his torso and turned him evil; once the heroes defeat it, it returns to normal and joins their party. (See? Video game.)

@ 975: That quote is taken directly from an XKCD Alt Text. And it's true, all right. I once left a comment on a blog with a quite sophisticated readership, well above Youtube comments, that said things like "Don't call me racist, I have plenty of friends among the lesser breeds". At least one commenter took it seriously.

A blog that gets updated on a geological timescale.

Was looking at the Sorting Algorithm of Deadness today and some of the examples there are pretty amusing, particularly the fact that someone did an entry for Feltipern Trevagg, a background Star Wars character whose sole claim to fame is having a short story written about him and his gruesome death decades after the fact. Well, they do say every character has fans...

Also, the comment on Jiraiya's entry reads simply "Screwed."

[up]On the contrary, I love it in a So Bad, It's Good kind of way [lol] I think it's a horrible song that my own interpretation makes so much better tongue

This from "Attack Of The Eye Creatures":

The the title of the the film was changed to Attack of the The Eye Creatures for re-distribution by adding the the text "Attack Of the" to the the top of the the existing title card, resulting in an extraneous onscreen "the" as seen in the the upper right corner of this page.

For the the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version, please go to the the episode recap page.

EDIT: The entire page is hilarious.

@0dd: ...dude, you know that Every Breath You Take is supposed to be about a stalker, right? Sting himself has said that "I think the song is very, very sinister and ugly and people have actually misinterpreted it as being a gentle, little love song."

[up]Not the first time Sting did a song with deliberately creepy Lyrical Dissonance - see also 'Don't Stand So Close To Me', the catchiest song about a reluctant paedophile you're ever likely to meet.

What's precedent ever done for us?

[up][up][up] Have a link to your overanalysis of it? I think it would be fun to read. I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say it was about a stalker, but definitely a Nice Girl.

[up]Here it is, in a comment I left on Songmeanings.net. I wrote it in 2009, back when I was still somewhat insufferable, so beware of some pretentious, "LOLSILLY", and condescending remarks that might be in there.

Head Desk:

In Chapter 22, Twilight is punished by all the tables she's injured by performing the Head Desk by being turned into a table herself and having Shining Armor and Cadence have sex on her.

What is this I don't even?!

From Date Peepers,

"7th Heaven. 7th Heaven. 7th Heaven. 7th Heaven. 7th Heaven. 7th Heaven. 7th Heaven..."

Each of those listings is linked to 7th Heaven, by the way. As if one link wouldn't be enough.

I get the feeling this happened a lot on that show?

I saw this from the Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater character page, namely on The Pain's rather interesting use of a swarm of bees.

They can also form a metal-and-wood Tommy Gun that actually fires. Feel sorry for the one that has to be the firing pin.

I can't help but detect a bit of sarcasm at the considerable expense of The Adventures Of Pluto Nash on its Trivia page:

It did a bit better in the DVD market, but not nearly enough to cover the costs. To date, it has grossed $24,983,000 in DVD sales. Only $88 million to go before you break even, guys!

From the YMMV page of the Ed Edd N Eddy movie:

Evil Is Sexy: Surprisingly, Eddy's brother seems to have a decent amount of fangirls. Maybe it's the voice.

I dunno why, but I found that kinda funny.

From the My Little Pony Hilarious in Hindsight page:

A Fox Trot comic from the late 1990s had Jason playing with Paige's Barbie doll as "Indiana Barbie" so he could do things like crush it with the garage door, crush it with a large ball, and feed it to "The Iguana Of Doom" (Quincy). This predicted Daring Do quite well.

I love how this has nothing to even do with Daring Do.
