That seems like a severe overreaction.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I just want this to pave the way for a Julio and Miguel series. Other than that, *shrug*

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm honestly surprised that they decided to revisit Spirit in the first place, especially since it's from before the Shrek era. (Not that that's a bad thing, mind you.)
From what I'm picking up, it's coming off as just another "girls-and-horses" show that I've seen done a few times before. It'd have to do something really new with that genre to really catch my attention.
The artstyle looks like a 3D animated version of the old Dreamworks "Prince-of-Egypt"-esque they used before Shrek, which I find pretty cool.
"Lucian, don’t be afraid, we’ll make it through this."I second the burning desire for a Road to El Dorado-related show. Who should be the showrunner?
P.S. No offense, but it's Tulio and Miguel.

Human characters do the talking, and Spirit is devoid of any Matt Damon narration, automatically making me hate this promo.
I third a The Road To El Dorado series.
Give the horse a different visual design and name him something else. Bam. This show would have nothing to do with the Spirit movie.

Tulio and Miguel series could actually be a pretty good idea if they were ambitious and put some effort into it. I'd be interested in checking it out.
Dream Works seems to be getting out of their financial slump, since The Boss Baby has a sequel coming out in spring 2021.
I have A LOT to say about a LOT of things, and NO little minded opinions will hold MY opinion back.
Why does that movie deserve a sequel?
Probably because they're following Illumination's example of "sequels, sequels, sequels".
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?It made money. Loads of it. LOADS.
Im serious. And Im not saying this because I like the movie. I hate it.

The BOSS BABY NEEDS IT NOW!! WAAAH!!!
That didn't require that much over the topness.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? So, anyone thought Oriental DreamWorks was dead?
Think again! Because they just got themselves a new Chief Creative Officer!
And not only is Everest still set for a 2019 release, they announced 5 new projects that are in the works:

You know, China, not ALL your Dreamworks movies need to have something Chinese in their theme...
I'm glad they seem to be headed for using some variety with this at the very least, but I don't really have too high of hopes given some of the talent behind them seems...lackluster.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Yeah, like maybe don't advertise "From the makers of Chicken Little!" That movie isn't awful, but it has some bizarre tonal issues and kind of fell flat.
Not Three Laws compliant.According to Universal’s website, The Croods 2 is back on the schedule for 2020… and The Boss Baby 2 comes out in 2021.
Peace is the only battle worth waging.Chicken Little was pretty popular in Japan. I wonder if ti was popular in China too.
The Protomen enhanced my life.It wasn’t released there at all.
Peace is the only battle worth waging.Wow, its sad that the best thing that can be said about Chicken Little is that its "Not Awful". LOL
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.DreamWorks and Netflix just announced new animated shows for 2018!
- DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, we knew about this one, but it's coming January 19, 2018.
- She-Ra, a reboot featuring the sister of a certain Master of the Universe, coming from Noelle "The mother of Lumberjanes and NIMONA" Stevenson!
- The Boss Baby: Back in Business, exactly what you think it is.
- Harvey Street Kids, another thing there were rumors of.
- The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, from Peabody Award and Emmy-winning executive producer Peter Hastings (Animaniacs)
- Trollhunters Part 3 and 3 Below, the latter is the second part of what's being called the Tales of Arcadia trilogy.
Oddly enough, I'm excited about She-Ra since I've heard tons of great things about Noelle Stevenson's writing. (Though I'm also pleasantly surprised that He-Man isn't showing up beforehand. Bold move!)
It's a first look at that Spirit Netflix series!
