"You simultaneously deserve both a Nobel prize and a war crimes tribunal for this."
—One commenter on YouTube.

With progress in machine learning, a group of Anons from 4chan's /mlp/ board called the "Pony Preservation Project" fed a bunch of character voice lines from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic into 15.ai, enabling them to create new voice lines that imitate the ones from the show reasonably well. They then decided to do a Fan Dub of the show.

The result is an over-the-top mess that crosses the line twice, being steeped in Anon culture and memes, with jokes poking fun at /mlp/ and bronies in general. The AI-voiced nature of the episodes make them come across as a tasteless Spiritual Successor to Abridged Series and Youtube Poops.

So far, the first 5 episodes have been dubbed and can be watched (at your own risk) here. Unused scenes can be found here.

The /mlp/ AI Redub contains examples of the following tropes:

  • A.I.-Generated Artwork: Twilight uses one such generator to create an explicit image of Rainbow Dash. When wondering why the image came out as a human, it turns out that Pinkie and Rainbow had added a "source_anime" prompt.
  • A Party, Also Known as an Orgy: Set up (mercifully offscreen) in the first episode in Twilight's library, much to her despair as she can't sleep.
  • Abnormal Allergy: When Gilda rummages around the organic food cart, she leaves after finding a tomato, saying that she's allergic to nightshades.
  • Ass Shove: Twilight Sparkle intended to do this with a book she carries in her saddlebags. Spike later expresses his intent to put the "baked bads" in his ass.
  • Axe-Crazy:
    • Rarity, who brutally murders Stephen Magnet and Twilight Sparkle and Spike (the later two get better).
    • Fluttershy and Angel brutally murdered Spike off-screen and are in the process of cleaning the blood stains in the library when Twilight arrives. Spike gets better after Twilight recovers his soul from the underworld.
  • Balloon Belly: Twilight after she vores Apple Bloom.
  • Basement-Dweller:
  • Bestiality Is Depraved: Fluttershy's bunnies are referred to as their "toys" and have dildos glued to their forehead.
Twilight Sparkle: "Fluttershy, with her insatiable thirst for wild animals, represents the spirit of lust!"
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Rainbow notices ThunderAnon's watermark on screen at one point and throws it away.
  • Carrying the Antidote: Applejack poisons her 5 friends with apple juice laced with poison to get them to harvest all her orchard if they want the antidote.
  • Conspiracy Theorist: Rainbow Dash, Gilda, and Pinkie Pie argue about 9/11 conspiracy theories.
Gilda: "Pinkie, it looks like you just won your "Excellence in Journalism" award from Mossad."
Pinkie Pie: "Aha! I knew it!"
  • Country Matters: Being made by 4chan, this is to be expected.
    • The intro song to the first episode replaces Pinkie Pie's line ("Tons of fun!") with "crusty cunt".
    • Rainbow Dash calls herself a cunt, first when getting her Element of Faggotry ("Top Cunt!") and then when she believes the two dollars are hers.
Rainbow Dash: "I knew it! Being a cunt always works!"
    • Spike comes up with "crop cunt" as a slur for Earth Ponies, which Twilight enthusiastically adopts.
  • Crosses the Line Twice: Yes. The fan dub of the original show is full of Anon culture and memes, with jokes poking fun at /mlp/ and bronies in general. The AI-voiced nature of the episodes make them come across as a tasteless Spiritual Successor to Abridged Series and Youtube Poops.
  • Cure Your Gays: The field hospital set up for the muffin-poisoned ponies in Applebuck Season is now "Ponyville's homosexual rehabilitation center".
  • Death Is Cheap: Characters die and come back all the time. Lampshaded by Carl Brutananadilewski.
  • Disproportionate Reward: Inverted in the Ticket Master intro. As a reward for saving Equestria from "horniness eternal" from Nightmare Coom, Princess Celestia sends Twilight a box of tendies and 2$ (instead of the Grand Galloping Gala tickets in the regular episode). The Mane 6 apparently consider this a sufficient reward. At the end of the episode, instead of sending extra tickets to the Gala, Celestia sends 5$, so that all the Mane 6 and Spike get 1$.
  • Eaten Alive: Happens to Apple Bloom, sacrificed to be eaten by a very reluctant Twilight. It's all part of a weird Earth Pony sacrifice.
  • Everyone Has Standards:
    • Rarity's cold-blooded murder of the "trans dragon" Stephen Magnet is treated as horrifying by the rest of the cast, even though they don't think much of Stephen Magnet to begin with, thinking he's "mentally ill".
    • Twilight Sparkle is disgusted by Applejack's racism towards Zebras, despite her being racist towards Earth Ponies.
  • Fantastic Racism: Applejack is this towards Zebras, wanting them to be slaves. Twilight Sparkle meanwhile sees Earth Ponies as underneath her and good only for manual labour.
  • Fantastic Slur: A variant of the real-life N-word but with a Z in place of the N is used for Zebras. Spike later comes up with "crop cunt" for Earth Ponies, which Twilight Sparkle fully embraces.
  • Greedy Jew: Gilda, and supposedly all griffons in general, are treated like this; most notably at the end of the episode when Gilda tries to rob a charity drive, only to learn that it's a trap set by Aryanne.
  • Happiness in Slavery:
    • At the end of the redubbed Applebuck Season Applejack accepts her place and that she will always be an inferior to the Unicorn Overlords. It's subverted almost immediately when it's revealed she fed the rest of the Mane 6 with poison-laced apple juice and they have to harvest the remaining apples if they want the antidote.
    • A variant with pony sacrifice. Apple Bloom is alright with being sacrificed to be Eaten Alive by Twilight Sparkle.
  • The Hedonist: Pinkie Pie becomes this, organizing orgies and having a (not shown onscreen) massive cocaine addiction.
  • Human Sacrifice: Practiced on fillies by the Apple family.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Twilight is disgusted by Applejack's racism towards Zebras, but she herself is racist towards Earth Ponies.
  • I Am a Humanitarian:
  • I Drank WHAT?!: The hot sauce that Twilight unwittingly drinks in the pilot has been replaced with Anon's semen.
  • I'll Kill You!: Twilight Sparkle explicitly shouts to Celestia that she'll kill her after Celestia forces her to live in Ponyville at the end of Episode 2.
  • Informed Deformity: Spike apparently has Down Syndrome, according to Fluttershy, despite not looking any different from the show.
Fluttershy: "I've never seen a baby dragon before, especially one with Down Syndrome!"
  • Interspecies Romance:
    • Carl Brutananadilewski attends Pinkie Pie's orgy in the library and expresses his newfound love for "horse pussy" to Twilight.
    • Twilight Sparkle with Anon, to the point that she owns a book about human anatomy and how to please it.
  • Land Mine Goes "Click!": Fluttershy steps on a Mine Turtle.
  • Major Injury Underreaction: Rainbow Dash doesn't seem too much in pain from having "all her spinal cords shattered by crashing on Twilight's balcony.
  • Manchild: The brony-hating Manticore from the second episode (who is voiced by voice clips from Ghost of all people) is explicitly said to be a manchild by Fluttershy, who successfully convinces him to "poni poni poni" (read: watch ponies).
  • NEET: Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie, as exemplified by some of their song lines.
Twilight Sparkle: "I used to be a fucking dirty NEET!"
Pinkie Pie: "[Granny Pie] said "Pinkie you've gotta get a job you're fucking 28!"."
  • No Fourth Wall: The redub doesn't take itself seriously at all.
  • Noodle Incident: Rainbow Dash is apparently unwelcome at Sweet Apple Acres after Applejack "caught her" with Apple Bloom.
  • Otaku: Fluttershy is explicitly said to be this, and enjoys the "entry-level crap" like Naruto.
  • Overly Long Gag: Pinkie sprains her leg and hisses in pain a la Peter Griffin. She then ignores it to continue the story.
  • Paste Eater: Twilight Sparkle apparently eats glue.
Twilight Sparkle: "The sixth element is the... huh... glue, that binds us all together! It's the reason I eat glue! The element of... AUTISM!"
  • Politically Incorrect Hero: The entire Mane 6.
  • Resurrective Immortality: When Spike was killed by a lightning strike, a PNG of him was placed on screen; Spike saying that this wasn't the the first time that he died.
  • Ridiculous Future Inflation: Exaggerated in the third episode, where the 2 dollars Celestia sent lost 90% of their value by the end of the episode (less than a day).
  • Self-Deprecation: When Gilda calls Pinkie a "no-good druggie", Pinkie tells her to blame Anon, as he wrote their script.
  • Seven Deadly Sins: The Elements of Harmony, now renamed the Elements of Faggotry, are patterned after this.
  • The Starscream: Twilight Sparkle plans to overthrow Celestia one day.
  • Take That!: One to The Mysterious Mare Do Well. As Gilda puts it:
Gilda: "Well, I groove on a prank as much as the next griffon. And I know Dash does too. Why, I bet you could disguise yourself as a superhero and teach her a lesson in humility by being better than her at everything, and she won't even have a problem with it."
  • Those Wacky Nazis: Twilight, Celestia, and Celestia's daughter, Aryanne, as revealed when Twilight finds out that Gilda was a griffon.
  • Time-Traveling Jerkass: Starlight Glimmer travels back in time to blow up Gilda for being "kind of a bitch".
  • Toxic Waste Can Do Anything: The baked bads contain radioactive waste (instead of the lemon juice from the original episode) which apparently goes into the muffins turning ponies gay.
  • Tracking Device: Princess Celestia was able to find the Mane 6 in the abandoned castle in the Everfree Forest because all the dildos Twilight kept shoving up her ass were tipped with tracking devices.
  • Transparent Closet: Rainbow Dash claims she is heterosexual, but nopony believes her. She give up her façade later in the series.
  • Vigilante Man: Pinkie decides to deal with Gilda herself after realizing how much of a jerk Gilda is. Justified, as when Pinkie was about to report Gilda to "The Jannie of Jannies", moot, she remembered that moot had left.
  • Water Source Tampering: Applejack assumed that this was why the apples looked different after Pinkie and Rainbow painted them all.
  • Wrong Genre Savvy: Nightmare Coom genuinely believes she was the protagonist in this anime.
