  • Accidental Misnaming: When Ed and Bagan reunite after the Replenishment, Ed once again calls Bagan 'Bacon', with Bagan not in the mood to correct him this time.
  • Accidental Murder: On the third day, After Li Li reinvigorates Ed with a healing brew of hers, he begins to talk about a plan on how to defeat Molag. But when Makoto shouts "Yeah! Random enthusiasm!" behind him and Li Li, Ed accidentally punches Makoto into an Iron Maiden.
    • When Celes surprises Ed and Bagan, Ed accidentally steps on Dora's tail, which causes her to knock Celes into a tree, where a tree branch falls on her and knocks her out. And then her health-pool drops to zero and she vanishes into LEGO studs.
  • A Handful for an Eye: After Ed knocks Baphomet down to the ground in their fight, he comes back up and swings his spear with enough force to fling sand into Ed's eyes.
  • Alternate Self: The Nina Tucker seen here is one that managed to survive to adulthood after being turned into a chimera.
  • An Arm and a Leg: When Raven Beak gets ambushed by Narca, he attempts to shoot her, only for his blaster to rupture and blow off his shooting arm.
    • One of Molag Bal's arms gets disintegrated when trying to block Bagan's beam at the end of their first fight.
  • And I Must Scream: On the second day Volker gets trapped in a tight latex suit by Mettle, who gets constantly teased but can't get release, and he remains trapped in it for the remainder of his screentime in the episode.
  • Apocalypse How: It’s revealed in the final chapter that Theresa caused a Class 4 event in her attempts to change the world, then later turned it into a Class 6 event when she couldn’t handle the criticism she got over creating such a disaster.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: When Ed manages to blind Baphomet in one eye and slices the demon across the chest with Baphomet, Ed makes a Badass Boast in his usual Ed way:
Ed: "I am Ed! Slayer of demons! Avenger of souls! Eater of Gravy!"
  • Ass Shove: At the end of the Bloodbath, Shadow Banette shows his team a baguette he found and tries to get them to guess where it's going. Ralsei quickly shuts that idea down.
    • When Deathwing holds the mini-wish in front of Makoto, she tells him to shove it where the sun don't shine.
  • A Twinkle in the Sky: In the Pinecone Throne stunt, Theresa can't handle the pinecone on her butt after several minutes and goes flying just from the pain alone.
  • Badass Boast: When Deathwing fights Makoto, he boasts about how insignificant she is compared to him.
Deathwing: "You are NOTHING before me. A simple beast...an ant...before my power."
  • Bait-and-Switch Boss: Chapter 7 ends with Theresa about to face off against Ed, with chapter 8 beginning with a paragraph about how she ended up destroying her world. But when she can't seem to hurt Ed, she absorbs the blood Ridley gave her before the Bloodbath began out of desperation. Once she does so however, Ridley takes all of HAL's powers away from Theresa and kills her.
  • Back for the Finale: Ed, Taffy, Bagan, Sakaki, Ridley, and Ralsei all return for the final Arena of the first season.
  • Back from the Dead: In his introduction Tezcatlipoca considers using the wish to bring his brother back from the brink.

  • Be Careful What You Wish For: When fighting Makoto on the first day, Deathwing uses a mini-wish to discover what his future will be like. It ends up being more than he can handle.
  • Big Damn Heroes: On the first night, Fran saves Gai from the now feral Narca by killing her with her ice magic.
    • Also on the first night, just as Molag Bal is about to begin raping several of the female contestants, Bagan and later Tez showing up and fighting him off, forcing Molag to retreat.

    • Ed screams one after Ridley kills Edd and Eddy when he attacks the Cul-De-Sac (temporarily, but still).

  • Book Ends: Ed begins the series as the first contestant introduced and is the last contestant to win an Arena in the first season.
    • In what was likely a coincidence, Team 12, in the first and last episode, has a hero from Final Fantasy VI as a member of the team.
  • Brain Bleach: Celes on the third night wants a piece of the Kelbi horn in the hope of taking the image of Shadow Banette humping Volker out of her mind.
  • Brain Drain: On the last day before the final chapter, just as Pois is about to kill Ed, a Fiend sucks out her brain.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: After Li Li is forced to wear a fanservicey outfit, she begins to thank her homeland that she isn't her canonical age in this timeline.
    • After Ed accidentally gets Makoto killed, Li Li dreads that they're gonna get letters for that, Ed turns to the audience and tells them "Do not adjust your set!".
    • When Ed reunites with Dora the Arthropleura, he apologizes to her for not being in the plot, saying he knows how she feels.
  • Break the Haughty: This episode takes Theresa and her 'perfection' down several pegs, with her getting humiliated in nearly every scene she's in. She doesn't even get the honor of being Ed's last challenger, as the long-assumed dead Ridley comes back, steals HAL's powers from her, and then kills her.
  • Call-Back: As Ridley is plotting on getting revenge on everyone that crossed him in the introductions, all he can think about is that awful dwarf, that loud-mouthed rabbit, and that pacifist wolf-dragon-thing.
  • Came Back Strong: When Ed goes into the afterlife after Ridley killed him, his resolve to not give up and thinking of all of his loved ones causes Ed to revive, and with a new power to fight Ridley with: Ultra Ed-stinct.
  • Caught Monologuing: The second chapter begins with Tez begins to go on a speech about feeling the fire of war brewing in him and promising that his brother will be revived, only to get interrupted by Sal throwing some molten wax on him.
  • Chekhov S Gun: The Phantom of 10,000 Leagues gets brought up as early as the second chapter, but doesn't get to do anything at first. When the sixth chapter comes, he finally causes a death by dragging Morris to a watery grave.
  • Chick Magnet: Bagan over the course of two chapters manages to get a harem of 4 women.
  • Clothing Damage: Li Li's robes get torn while fighting off some living brambles, forcing her to choose an outfit that was air-dropped to her.
    • When a horde of Lorthass attack on the third night, they tear apart Ceda's clothes, forcing her to use leaves as pasties.
  • Collateral Damage: When Whitty explodes for good, a sharp piece of bark from the explosion goes flying straight into Law's chest, killing him.
  • Death by Disfigurement: When Narca ambushes Raven Beak on the first day, he loses an arm when blaster ruptures and then is quickly decapitated by her.

  • Delayed Reaction: When Ridley mocks Ed for defending what he assumes are mutants made from toxic run-off, Johnny protests that Eddy's not that ugly, with Eddy backing up Johnny, before demanding to know what he meant by that.
  • Demonic Possession: On the third night Morris gets converted into a minion for Baphomet from hearing a melody he was humming.
  • Devoured by the Horde: On the third day Ellie gets swarmed and eaten by the Killer Tomatoes.

    • In the sixth chapter, the liquid Taffy used in her dispersing spell attracts a horde of locusts, who proceed to swarm and devour her.
  • Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: Tyroo actually manages to kill Bagan by getting the drop on him and impaling Bagan with a tree branch, albeit with a little help from Theresa giving him some of her power.
  • Disaster Dominoes: In chapter 4, As Baphomet is sending fireballs to kill the Beast Creatures, one of them strikes Whitty’s fuse as he’s overrun by them. This causes Whitty to explode for good, with some of the debris sent flying, with a sharp piece of bark flying into Law's chest and scarring Theresa’s face, causing her to panic. When Ghislaine goes to check if she’s hurt, she gets punched into a cliff-face by Theresa for her troubles. And finally the explosion awakens the Killer Tomatoes, who proceed to devour Ellie.
  • Disney Death: During the final battle, Ridley kills all of the Cul-De-Sac kids. But when Ed wins, he uses his wish to bring things back to normal, which includes reviving the Cul-De-Sac kids.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Theresa evaporated her lover, Steve, for making a disparaging comment about her, even when he was on board for her genocide!
  • Don't Sneak Up on Me Like That!: When Makoto shouts "Yeah! Random enthusiasm!" while behind Ed and Li Li, it accidentally causes Ed to punch Makoto into an iron maiden and Li Li to shoot a Cloud Dragon, which ends up striking Celes. Fortunately it doesn't kill her.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Ratchet gets gored by Morris, The Kid gets crushed by a Zonder named EL-10, and Ursar gets her head taken off by Ghislaine in the Bloodbath.
    • Ralsei suddenly dies on the fourth day from Ligma due to not having done anything lewd the previous night.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: After spending almost the whole first season as a contestant who kept appearing and dying over and over again, Ed FINALLY wins in this episode, and has a girlfriend to look forward spending time with.
  • Eaten Alive: On the second night Red gets eaten by a Cock Demon.
    • In chapter 6 Fran gets eaten by the Del Lago in one bite and two Sea Creepers drag Titania down into the ocean, chewing into her body while she's still alive.
  • Epic Fail: Sakaki's attempt to make pancakes in the cooking contest somehow results in them being hot, mushy, and burnt yet at the same time cold, crusty, and soggy.
  • Eye Scream: While Baphomet is confused hearing squeaking noises while trying to crush Ed, Ed grains his sight and throws a shoe into one of Baphomet's eyes.
  • FacePalm: A few of the remaining contestants, like Wendy, do this as a reaction to Molag Bal's question of if shrimp fried the rice that he found.
  • Flash Back: When Theresa has trouble killing Ed, she tries to think of a solution, which has her go to a flashback to just before the Bloodbath began, with Ridley giving her a vial of his blood, telling her to absorb it if she's in a tight spot, which she proceeds to use.
  • Go into the Light: When Ed gets killed by Ridley's barrage of attacks, Kronos is there to try to convince Ed to go to the afterlife. However, Ed’s refusal to give up and thinking about the loved ones he’s fighting for gets Ed to revive himself and fight Ridley with newfound powers.
  • Groin Attack: When Carmelita gets pounced on by a Great Jaggi, she gets him off her by kicking him in the junk, and then shoves him off.
    • When Scott pins Eveo down intending to have sex with him, Eveo gets Scott off him by grabbing a rock and slams it against Scott's balls, with Evero using the moment to escape.
    • During the second half of Ed and Ridley’s fight, Ed delivers an upwards kick that slams into Ridley's crotch.
  • Ground Hog Day Loop: Taffy believes her team is in one of these in the introductions and thinks they need to learn something about themselves to escape it.
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: When Fran uses an ice crystal to kill Narca, it first impales her. And when the icicle shatters, Narca's body splits in two.
    • Ghislaine kills the Orion Cerberus by slicing him in two with her sword.
  • Head Crushing: After blinding Ed with sand, he attempts to crush Ed's head, only to get squeaking noises, confusing the demon.
  • Heroic BSoD: Ed undergoes one on the beginning of the fourth chapter after discovering Sakaki’s burnt corpse, with the pressure of him and watching all of his friends dying over and over again in the Arena finally getting to him.
  • Heroic RRoD: Gai suffers from a literal Blue Screen of Death when attempting to fight Pois in the Replenishment.
[BRAVERY.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING. WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRY AGAIN?]
    • And when Pois presses 'No' it causes him to explode.
  • Hidden Depths: Even Bagan is surprised at how good of a singer he is after winning his first rap battle with Molag Bal.
    • Kevin, Johnny, and several of the Space Pirates are impressed with Ed's singing abilities.
  • High-Voltage Death: While fighting Baphomet on the fifth day, Ed uses his static electricity trick from Every Which Way But Ed on the goat demon, which causes Baphomet to explode into pieces.
  • History Repeats: We have The main antagonist of the episode that gets taken out seemingly easily, only for it to be later revealed that he was possessing another contestant, and then comes out just in time to be the final opponent the eventual winner has to face.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: Ghislaine, after finding Nina’s corpse, asks her group to eat it, as it's a custom among her culture to make sure she remains with them in some way. Li Li is naturally shocked at this suggestion.
  • Impaled With Extremeprejudice: Ratchet becomes the first casualty of the episode when Morris gores him on his horns.
    • During Bagan's first fight with Molag Bal, he rams his horn into Molag's chest and then generates volts of red lightning into him.
    • On the second night, Baphomet kills Ataraks-1 by throwing a spear into her and kills Ven by repeatedly stabbing her with his spear.
    • Law gets killed by a sharp piece of bark that flies into his chest.
    • After Molag Bal shows Bagan's group the image of Taffy's death, Ghislaine in her anger stabs her sword into him, only for it to do nothing and nearly get killed for her troubles.
    • Li Li gets killed by a Narscylla's stinger impaling her, Bagan gets stabbed in the chest by a tree branch by Tyroo, and Shadow Banette gets shanked by Sephirama in the seventh chapter.
    • Ridley kills Edd and Eddy by skewering them with his tail.
  • Interrupted Intimacy: On the third night, Celes turns Shadow Banette and Volker into an ice cube that floats down the river while Shadow Banette was humping Volker.
  • Killed Mid-Sentence: When Law hears Whitty's final explosion, he asks "What in the-" before a sharp piece of bark that flew from the explosion ends up lodging itself into his chest.
    • At the end of the sixth chapter, as Titania is trying to swim back to shore, she says "Just a little further-" before being dragged to her doom underwater by two Sea Creepers.
    • In the Replenishment, as Carmelita is talking about putting Wendy in a jail cell, the basilisk statue Wendy grabbed turns Carmelita into a statue, which then crumbles into dust.
    • Late into the seventh chapter, as Shadow Banette is begging Sephirama to not kill him, the pharaoh doesn't listen and kills him anyway.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: When Ratchet can't stop looking at his teammates' busts, he jokes that if this was a game, they'd deserve the M-rating.
  • Lethal Chef: Sakaki's attempt of making pancakes goes so terribly that when they're accidentally flung into the Atraks-1 copies, they collapse into raw materials.
  • Let's Duet: Ed and Sakaki sing a love duet set to the tune of Cosmic from the FNF mod K.O.U. on the first night.
  • Literal-Minded: Molag Bal, upon finding a meal of shrimp fried rice, asks if a shrimp fried this rice.
  • Little "No": Ed utters two of these upon discovering what remains of Sakaki's burnt body.
  • Losing Your Head: When Molag Bal taunts Bagan with Li Li's death, Bagan decides enough is enough and tears him apart, capping it off by tearing his head off, with it screaming into the distance. This doesn't kill him, but it leaves him unable to protect himself from the Velvet Worm, which eats his head.
  • Ludicrous Gibs: When Sal attempts to ambush Taffy, she uses a dispersal spell on him that sends bits of her flying everywhere.
  • Marshmallow Hell: While helping Li Li escape the Bloodbath, Ellie shoves Li Li into her mammaries.
  • Mercy Kill: On the fifth night Ghislaine, having found the still-trapped Volker who's suffering from the ant bites from earlier, decides to end his suffering by slicing him into thousands of pieces using her super speed.
  • Moment Killer: After Ed and Sakaki's tender love duet, they hug and spend a moment in peace together. Said moment gets ruined by Theresa trying to upstage them by horribly singing off-key Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You", even though it's not even December.
  • Musical Episode: This episode features four musical numbers: A love duet between Ed and Sakaki, two rap battles between Bagan and Molag Bal, and the first half of the climactic battle between Ed and Ridley is one giant music number.
  • Must Not Die a Virgin: Wendy chooses to sleep with Tez since if she’s going to die here, she might as well not die a virgin.
  • My Skull Runneth Over: While fighting Makoto, Deathwing uses a mini-wish to see what his future would be. Unfortunately he ends up learning about the many controversies Blizzard would get into in the early 2020s, with the information being too much for him and causes his head to pop like confetti.
  • Neck Snap: When the Orion Cerberus ambushes Li Li and Nina, he shoves his dick down Nina's neck, and break it with it still in her mouth.
  • Nightmare Weaver: On the first night, Freya uses her powers to take a character’s nightmare and switches it with someone else. The examples listed are that Pois gets Volker's nightmare and Ralsei gets Celes' nightmare. Delphine calls Freya out on this.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: When a few pieces of shard from Whitty's explosion on the third day strikes her face, she panics over how this could have happened to her, leading to Ghislaine asking if she's hurt, wanting to help. Theresa responds to this concern by punching her into a cliff-face. The reason Theresa did this was because, in her opinion, she can’t trust anyone who dresses like a tramp in her eyes.
  • Noodle Incident: Kronos is mentioned to be the God of Cartoon Network, though how that came to be is just listed as "long story".
  • Not Distracted by the Sexy: When Li Li asks for Ed's help to take out Freya, she tells him not to say anything about her outfit since she's not wearing it by choice. He actually doesn’t seem to care about what she’s wearing and wants to stop Freya, much to Li Li's surprise.
  • Not So Above It All: At the end of chapter 5, Ed yells out "Marco!" and Baphomet of all people yells back "Polo!!!"
  • Not Worth Killing: When a woozy Whitty comes up to Morris mistaking him for Carol, Morris says he would have knocked his head off, but feels sorry for Whitty and can’t bring himself to do it.
  • Off with His Head!: Ghislaine takes Ursar’s head off her shoulders with a quick sword strike in the Bloodbath.
    • On the first day, Narca kills Raven Beak by slashing off his head.
    • In chapter 8, after Ridley steals HAL's powers from Theresa, he bites her head off. And later in the same chapter he slashes all of his Space Pirates' heads in anger over Ed not taking their battle seriously.
  • Oh, Crap!: Tyroo screams this as Dragon begins chasing him on the second day.
  • One-Man Army: The only kid from the Cul-de-sac to have not been taken by the Space Pirates is Rolf, who manages to fight off a squadron on his own.
Rolf: "Nobody messes with the son of a shepherd and expects it to happen quietly!"
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: After finding Sakaki's corpse, Ed begins to cry, asking why this keeps happening to him and his friends, and seems close to just giving up entirely.
  • Out with a Bang: What had likely happened to Rexy on the second day when she’s attacked by an Orion Cerberus, but what happened is unclear since the author didn't want to describe it as there was no way of making it sound sexy.
    • On the second day Raymond gets raped by five Hellhounds, with their hot loads proving to be fatal to him.
  • Pain to the Ass: While firing a nail gun Eveo found in a bloodbath, one of the nails hits Titania in the rear.
    • When Ellie and Ven are attacked by skeletons, one of them slashes Ellie across the ass, to which she retaliates by grabbing the skeleton with her tusks and crushing it to powder.
    • The fourth day has Fran, Pois, and Theresa subjected to a Jackass stunt called 'Pinecone Throne'. While Fran and Pois have little trouble with the event, Theresa can't handle the pain and goes flying.
  • The Peeping Tom: Ceda and Shadow Banette separately spy on Wendy and Tez having sex in the episode.
  • Power Parasite: Once Theresa absorbs Ridley's blood, Ridley reawakens and completely takes all HAL's powers away from Theresa in the last chapter.
  • Precision F-Strike: In the final chapter, When Ed tells Theresa to surrender while calling her a villain, Theresa snaps and calls Ed a dumbass and a retard, which gets the narration to say that any pretenses of her being a good girl are gone now.
  • Private Eye Monologue: Carmelita begins her Team Introduction by Carmelita going into a monologue about the strange situation she finds herself in, but is interrupted by Makoto asking who she's talking to.
  • Punch Catch: When Ven attempts to punch Baphomet on the second night, he just catches her fist and twists the wrist, forcing Ven on her knees.
  • Punctuated! For! Emphasis!: When Li Li tries to teach Bagan meditation, he tells her that his father said it's just a myth. To which Li Li smacks him with her staff on the snoot and reiterates "Med...i...ta...tion."
  • Robot Me: Ed and Wendy get attacked by robot duplicates in chapter seven. Though in Ed's case, it comes off more of a poor imitation than anything else.
  • Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies: The penultimate chapter goes through several days, with them taking out most of the remaining contestants, leaving only Ed and Theresa.
  • Rule of Three: This is the third episode where the winner has to fight Ridley in their own universe.
  • Running Gag: Throughout the episode the contestants keep getting cans of Canned Coochie. Apparently the Arena REALLY needed the money from the sponsorship.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When Scott gets sent to the Replenishment, he immediately hops out of there.
  • Sheathe Your Sword: Late into the episode Tez considers the trick of the Arena is to not fight at all. An idea that he considers, but doesn’t follow through on.
  • Shout-Out: When Tez asks Wendy where she worked out, her answer is "Push ups, sit-ups, and plenty of juice."
    • When cornered by Carmelita Fox in the Replenishment, Wendy tries to pull a weapon behind her, and gets a basilisk statue, which doesn’t have an immediate effect, leading to:
Wendy: "Oh, uh...this belongs in a museum?”
  • Squashed Flat: Ed kills Freya by uprooting an entire tree and slamming it down on her before she could react.
  • Stealing the Credit: Scott attempts to claim that it was him that was the one to kill Freya. However, Li Li, having seen Ed kill her firsthand, calls out Scott on not having done anything.
  • Stripped to the Bone: When Kevin tells Ridley to go fight a little girl, it reminds Ridley of all the failures he had in killing several people, and in his anger fires a HAL-empowered plasma beam that reduces all the Cul-de-sac kids except for Ed, Edd, and Eddy into charred skeletons.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: When Theresa made all the changes she made in her world, it caused MASSIVE damage to the world's ecosystems. And this naturally made everyone, even her lover Steve, to criticize her for her actions, something that she didn't handle very well...
  • Surrounded by Idiots: Theresa has this sentiment over her other teammates in her Team Introductions for not being as good as her. Her attitude changes slightly when Ridley starts sweet talking to her.
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: As Baskerra announces her plans on starting fresh next season and with new ideas, she mentions that it’s totally not because she’s desperate for feedback of any kind.
    • When Makoto asks who Carmelita is talking to in her Private Eye Monologue, she says she wasn't trying and failing to imitate her heroes on television.
  • Taken for Granite: The Basilisk statue Wendy grabs in the Replenishment turns Carmelita into a stone statue, with it crumbling into dust.
  • Take That!: Theresa's whole appearance is one for the book Empress Theresa for treating her like a perfect can do nothing wrong girl, when that’s not really the case at all.
    • To act as a deterrent against Ellie, Wendy made a wooden poster stating "Ice Age Live Action by Disney: It could happen".
    • On the fifth day, Shadow Banette, Titania, Tez, and Theresa end up in the world of Youtube Kids, with their sanities taking a hit over being subjected to the strange and definitely not appropriate for kids videos they're forced to watch.
  • Team Killer: On the fourth night, Scott kicks Eveo to the ground and into the hordes of the Bloodworms, who proceed to devour him.
  • They Killed Kenny Again: Every returnee except for Ed bites it once more in this episode.
  • This Cannot Be!: When Theresa absorbs Ridley’s blood, a large form emerges behind her, with Ed screaming "It can’t be! It just can’t be!" when he realizes that Ridley has returned.
  • This Is Gonna Suck: When an amber accidentally strikes Whitty’s fuse in the Bloodbath, he goes "oh...shit" before sighing and telling anyone near him they may want to run.
    • When Molag Bal loses his Beam-O-War to Bagan in their first fight, he says "Oh, by Dragon's balls." before Bagan’s beam collides into him.
    • On the third day, when Whitty gets his fuse lit again and is swarmed by Beast Creatures, he goes "oh, funk." before exploding for good.
    • Kevin says this verbatim when he has to watch a sing-off between Ed and Ridley.
  • Torso with a View: While fighting Moder, Makoto gains the upper hand by punching her through the hole in her body, which was also where her eyes were.
  • Trash the Set: Both the original Arena and the Cul-de-sac get destroyed during the final fight between Ed and Ridley. Ed uses part of his wish to return the Cul-de-sac back to normal.
  • Twitchy Eye: Carmelita gets one on the first night over a lack of sleep.
  • Villain: Exit, Stage Left: After soundly losing his rap battle with Bagan, Molag Bal questions Bagan's contradictory behaviors before attempting to kill him, only to retreat when Bagan bites his mace apart.
  • Villainous Breakdown: Once again, Ridley loses it when he starts losing to Ed, but even before their actual fight, Ridley's lyrics during their rap battle become increasingly unhinged.
  • We ARE Struggling Together: Team 6 has everyone at each other's throats before the Bloodbath even begins and Raven Beak outright attacks his team in the beginning of the Bloodbath.
    • Carmelita attempts to arrest Fran on the third night after Fran accidentally tells Carmelita about her days of thievery due to Carmelita's worldview. Her efforts are undermined by still feeling the effects of the blunt she took earlier however.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: Ed spends the second half of his fight with Ridley without his shirt or jacket on.
  • Wins by Doing Absolutely Nothing: Ed's plan to his teammates in the introductions is for them to do nothing, with Bagan thinking it's a gambit to bore the audience to death.
  • Would Hit a Girl: When fighting Ghislaine in the Bloodbath, Ursar asks if she would never hurt a lady. Unfortunately right as she asks this Ghislaine decapitates her, stating normally she wouldn't, but these aren't normal times.
  • Would You Like to Hear How They Died?: In the seventh chapter, Molag Bal taunts Bagan by asking if he would like to know what he did with Bagan’s companions while he was busy dealing with his affairs. He then shows Bagan an image of Ghislaine and Li Li fighting two Nerscylla, with Molag using his magic to empower one to make their stinger go faster than Li Li could react.
  • Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: The narration isn’t amused that the Eevee in this episode was named 'Eveo'.
Yeah, whoever named him had to be slapped in the face.
  • Why Won't You Die?: When Ed manages to get back up after Ridley unleashed a barrage of attacks that should have killed Ed, Ridley is naturally pissed at how he's still alive.
Ridley: "How many times do I have to kill the same guy?! WHY DO YOU PERSIST?!"
  • You Do NOT Want To Know: The author omits the details of how Rexy and Eveo meet their demises, as the author felt their deaths were too disturbing to talk about.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: When Molag Bal realizes that his third duel with Bagan is going to be yet another rap battle, he musters an "oh, for the love of all realms..." before it begins.

Your Winner: Ed (Baskerra Hellmane's pick)
