Portmanteau Couple Name / Video Games

Go To

  • Advance Wars: Flak/Lash as "Flash".
  • Breath of Fire in general has RyuNina (Ryu/Nina, natch), whilst IV also has FouMami (for the het pairing Fou/Mami) and FouRyu (for the selfcest slash pairing Fou/Ryu).
    • II has RyuKatt (in a rare example of this trope where there is no Japanese equivalent—the Japanese name for Katt is Rinpoo in accordance with The Unwritten Rule Of Capcom Localisation Renamings).
    • II also has a rare example of this trope not related to romantic pairings; there is an entire constellation of portmanteau names for fusion forms you can take with other party members.
  • City of Heroes: The forum community uses Numitron for Numina/Positron. There was also a concerted attempt by some members to use Statesline for a Steasman/Faultline Crack Pairing.
  • Cookie Run: Kingdom: The very, very popular Espresso/Madeleine ship is referred to as Espresseleine.
  • Cyberpunk 2077:
    • Fan-Preferred Couple Johnny/V is referred to by the name "SilverV" — "Silver" being the first part of Johnny's last name, Silverhand.
    • Although Johnny/Kerry is referred to in-universe as Jorry in Samurai Real-Person Fic, most fans of the actual game use Silverdyne (Silverhand/Eurodyne).
  • Disgaea fandom has "Maomaz" to describe the Mao/Almaz pairing, and also "Maoberyl" for Mao/Raspberyl and "Flaharl" for Flonne/Laharl.
  • Dragon Age has many.
    • Dragon Age: Origins:
      • "Tabristair" is used for the relationship between Alistair and a Tabris Warden (city elf).
      • "Zevriel" refers to the ship between Zevran and a Mahariel Warden (Dalish elf).
      • "Zevris" has the confusion of being used for two pairings: Zevran/Tabris Warden and Zevran/Fenris, although the former is more common.
    • Dragon Age II:
      • "Fenders" refers to the pairing of Fenris and Anders. "Fenhanders" refers to a three-way or Love Triangle with both characters and Hawke.
      • "Fenhawke" is frequently seen for Fenris/Hawke.
      • "Vanders" (Varric/Anders) is occasionally seen as well, as are "Fenbela" and "Merribela" (Fenris or Merrill/Isabela).
      • "Handers" is also seen for Hawke/Anders. Hawke/Isabela is sometimes called "Hawkbela."
      • There's a faction which ships Hawke with the Arishok; this pairing is sometimes called "Arihawke."
      • "Bethras" has been devised for Varric/Bethany, while "Merriver" is sometimes applied to Carver/Merrill.
    • Dragon Age: Inquisition:
      • "Adoribull" for Iron Bull and Dorian, who hook up if neither is romanced by the Inquisitor.
      • "Solavellan" for fans of Solas and Lavellan, given that Solas can only be romanced by a female elf Inquisitor, whose surname is Lavellan.
      • "Pavellan" is seen fairly often for for Dorian Pavus/male Lavellan.
      • Cullen can only be romanced by female humans (Trevelyan) or elves (Lavellan), so his canon ships are either "Cullevelyan" or "Cullavellan." Non-canonically, he's sometimes paired with Dorian, which is known as "Cullrian."
      • The non-canonical pairing of Varric/Cassandra is known as "Tethraghast."
  • Fallout: New Vegas has JuVie for Julie Farkas/Veronica.
  • Final Fantasy:
    • The fandom has plenty of these, especially Final Fantasy VII. First, there's the obvious Love Triangle with Clerith/Cleris/Clorith (Cloud and Aeris/Aerith shippers) and Cloti/Clifa (Cloud/Tifa shippers) often being violently at war with each other and shippers who go "Why choose?" opting for CloTiRis (Cloud/Tifa/Aeris) instead. Then there's Yuffietine/Yuffentine (the somewhat implausible Vincent/Yuffie), followed by the even less plausible AeriSeph (Sephiroth/Aeris). Add Zack into the mix, and you get Zerith (Zack/Aerith) and Clack (Cloud/Zack). That's not even going into all the Ho Yay pairings of the highly Bishōnen heroes and villains...
    • Final Fantasy X has a rather unfortunate one: Tidus/Yuna = Tuna. The game also has Aurikku (Auron/Rikku), Tikku (Tidus/Rikku), and YuRi (Yuna/Rikku), but the two funniest ones are Rippal (Rikku/Gippal) and Lukka (Lulu/Wakka), the latter which is a homophone of the largest city in the game's world.
    • Final Fantasy VIII:
      • The game mainly avoids them, since the Launcher of a Thousand Ships of the fandom is named 'Squall'. 'Squh' sounds don't portmanteau well. Squinoa isn't so bad, but Squistis? Squeifer? Or, most unpleasantly onomatopoeically, Squelphie? Squell is not unheard of, though. Nor Squaerith, for that matter. Not to mention Squikku is probably more common than you'd think likely.
      • From the same game we also have "Seiftis" (previously known as Quiefer) for the Seifer/Quistis pairing, "Quall" for Quistis and Squall, "Selvine" for Selphie and Irvine, and "Zellphie" for Zell and Selphie.
      • Squall may not have been in too many good portmanteaus before, but that's because he was saving up for possibly the best one ever. Dissidia Final Fantasy gives the pairing Squall and the Warrior Of Light, abbreviated as "SqWoL."
      • Also from Dissidia Final Fantasy, those who favor the Unholy Matrimony of The Emperor and Ultimecia have started using Pala/Mecia—the "mecia" being the last bit of Ulty's name, the rest referring to the fact that the Emperor's All There in the Manual surname and name of the country he rules in his original canon is "Palamecia."
    • Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2 gives us Fanille (Fang/Vanille), FLight (Fang/Lightning), Noehopu (Noel/Hope), HopuRai (Hope/Lightning), Noerah (Noel/Serah), Cairai (Caius/Lightning), and Snope (Snow/Hope).
      • If you want to throw in Crossover Ship, Lightis (Noctis/Lightning) have quite a large following as well
    • Fans of Agrias / Ramza in Final Fantasy Tactics tend to call their pairing Agriamza.
    • Final Fantasy XV:
      • Each combination of the four Chocobros has its own ship name: Promptis (Prompto/Noctis), Gladnis (Gladio/Ignis), Ignoct (Ignis/Noctis), Promptio (Prompto/Gladio), Gladnoct (Gladio/Noctis), and Promnis (Prompto/Ignis). There's also Noctluna/Lunoct for the Official Couple of Noctis/Lunafreya, and Ardynoct for Ardyn/Noctis.
      • Ignis/Aranea gets a little creative with their ship name Highspecs. The first part being the beginning of Aranea's last name, Highwind, while the latter is Aranea's nickname for the royal advisor.
  • Fire Emblem is starting to sprout some, for the more popular couples:
    • Fire Emblem: Awakening: The Male Robin/Lucina ship is "Robcina", the Female/Male Robin/Chrom ship is "Chrobin", and Chrom/Sumia is "Chromia". "Lucinigo" also gets thrown around occasionally for Inigo/Lucina.
    • Fire Emblem Fates: For the player character, Corrin/Azura is "Azurrin", and Female Corrin/Xander is "Coriander". For the royals, the pairings of Ryoma/Xander and Leo/Takumi are dubbed "Ryomarx" (after Xander's Japanese name, Marx) and Leokumi. The royal sisters also have the ship names "Caminoka" (Camilla/Hinoka) and "Elisaku" (Elise/Sakura), but those aren't used as often. There is also "Leorrin" for Leo/Corrin.
  • Five Nights at Freddy's, despite the characters being haunted robots, has Foxica (Foxy/Chica), Freddica (Freddy/Chica), Bonnica (Bonnie/Chica), Fronnie (Freddy/Bonnie), Fangle or Moxy (Foxy/Mangle), and Springle or Sprangle (Springtrap/Mangle).
  • Grand Theft Auto V has Trikey for Trevor/Michael.
  • Harvest Moon runs rampant with pairings, although the most commonly seen portmanteaus are "Grary" (for Gray/Mary, one of the rival pairings in the Mineral Town games) and "Graire" (for Gray/Claire, the Canon Name given to the blonde female farmer from the Mineral Town games).
  • Heavy Rain has Blayden for Norman Jayden and Carter Blake.
  • The Idolmaster:
    • 765 Pro All Stars/Million Live:
      • HaruChiha (Haruka/Chihaya), whose respective seiyuus Eriko Nakamura and Asami Imai also get one of their own in the form of Eringosu (Eriko/Mingosu, the latter a popular nickname for Asami) or A.I.E.N.
      • HibiTaka (Hibiki/Takane). Likewise, their seiyuus (Manami Numakura and Yumi Hara) are sometimes shipped together as Haranu (from their surnames).
      • Others are YayoIori (Yayoi/Iori) and YukiMako (Yukiho/Makoto)
    • Cinderella Girls:
      • UzuRin (Uzuki/Rin), TakeRin (Takeuchi Producer [from the anime series]/Rin), AnKira (Anzu/Kirari), ShikiFure (Shiki/Frederica), AriFumi (Arisu/Fumika)
    • Million Live:
      • MiraShizu (Mirai/Shizuka), ShizuShiho (Shizuka/Shiho), KotoMegu (Kotoha/Megumi), EmiTsumu (Emily/Tsumugi), KonoRio (Konomi/Rio)
    • Shiny Colors:
      • ManoHio (Mano/Hiori), SakuMami (Sakuya/Mamimi), JuriNatsu (Juri/Natsuha), AsaFuyu (Asahi/Fuyuko), ToMado (Toru/Madoka)
  • Inazuma Eleven fans have created the Pixiv tag "Fubukiyamaru" for Fubuki Shirou + Kiyama Hiroto + Kazemaru Ichirouta. Although it's frequently used in a non-shipping context for pictures which simply feature all three of those characters, since Pixiv has a limit of 10 tags per picture. There's also "Endaki" for Endou/Aki.
  • Kingdom Hearts:
    • Kingdom Hearts's names are usually either a portmanteau of their English names or the Romaji of their Japanese names. English examples include any combination of So(ra), Ri(ku) and Kai(ri) (including all three at once), as well as Larxel (Larxene/Axel), Mansaix (the latter being Xemnas' anagram Mansex mixed with Saix), Roxora (Sora/Roxas), RoxEtte (Roxas/Olette), Roxner (Roxas/Hayner), RoXion (Roxas/Xion), Namiku (Riku/Namine), KairiNe (Kairi/Namine), KaiLette (Kairi/Olette), MarLar (Marluxia/Larxene. Alternatively, Laurena, for their Somebodies Lauriam and Elrena), Aelenzo (Aeleus/Ienzo) and Zemyx (Zexion/Demyx). Romanji examples include SoKai, SoRiku, SoRiKai, RokuNami/NamiRoku (Roxas/Namine), VekuRekuZeku (Vexen/Lexaeus/Zexion), NamiShi (Namine/Xion), AkuRoku (Axel/Roxas), AkuShi (Axel/Xion), RokuShi (Roxas/Xion, again) and AkuRokuShi for the Romaji. And those are the common ones.
    • 358/2 Days gave us Saixel/AkuSai (Saix/Axel). Or the amusing Lisa (Lea/Isa), taking from their true names.
    • Also TerrAqua (Terra/Aqua) and VanVen (Vanitas/Ventus) from Birth by Sleep, among others (VenAqua, VanAqua, TerrVen, etc.). You also have the more obscure Xehaqus/Eranort (Xehanort/Eraqus).
    • With the Massive Multiplayer Crossover nature of the game, some Crossover Ships are inevitable, most popularly Cleon/Strifehart (Cloud/Leon) and the Crack Pairing Seiner (Seifer/Hayner). Alternatively, Heifer.
    • The fun really begins when you start including the actual Disney mascots in the fray. We're talking stuff like Sorimba (Sora/Simba), Sorasmine (Sora/Jasmine), Rikucent (Riku/Maleficent), Aquarella (Aqua/Cinderella), and Xalbeast (Xaldin/Beast). There's also some jokey stuff like Rickey (Riku/Mickey Mouse) and Sorald (Sora/Donald Duck), although a few of them have serious followings (for example, Soriel, which stands for Sora/Ariel).
  • The Legend of Zelda:
    • Link, that Heroic Mime studmuffin, gets paired with almost every girl in canon. Fans of Link/Zelda generally refer to it as Zelink. Then there's Malink (which is usually Malon/Link, but can also be Marin/Link), Midlink (Midna/Link), Midzelink (Midna / Zelda / Link), Rulink (Ruto/Link), Linkooru (Link/Nabooru), or Linkia (Link/Ilia, could also be Link/Saria). Meanwhile, there's a tiny faction within the fandom that ships Zelda/Ganon as both Zenon and Gazel.
    • The Link/Sheik ship generally gets referred to as Shink. The above Midlink has also been written as Mink or Lidna (with the former being the more popular of the two), Link/Ilia as Ilink, Link/Saria as Salink, Midna/Zelda is either Midzel or Melda (which is... somewhat appropriate), and there's a small following for Zelia (Zelda/Ilia - and no, the two characters never meet). Ganondorf/Link has been referred to as Galink, and the popular Dark Link/Link ship gets the unpopular name of Dink (or, occasionally, Dank or Larnk). Zelink, since it can refer to quite a large combination of Zeldas and Links, often gets a qualifier.
    • The main appeal for the Link/Ravio pairing is the fact that the pairing is named "Ravioli."
    • The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: Ghirahim/Link is Ghiralink. Ghirahim, in fact, gets around - in common use is Ghiramise (Ghirahim/Demise, also seen as Ghirademi), Ghirazel (Ghirahim/Zelda), and Ghirafi (Ghirahim/Fi). Demise and Hylia become Demilia, and Zelda/Impa is sometimes called Zelimpa. Amongst the Skyloftians, Link/Groose is Grink, Groose/Pipit is Groopit (or, occasionally, Gropit), and Zelda/Groose has the unfortunate name of Zeloose. Link/Peatrice is Linktrice, but it's rarely shipped due to the fans either considering the latter The Scrappy or because of Zelink.
  • Life Is Strange fans generally use the characters' last names for these: for example, "Pricefield" (Chloe Price and Max Caulfield), "Chasemarsh" (Victoria Chase and Kate Marsh), "Amberprice" (Rachel Amber and Chloe Price), "Amberpricefield" (Rachel Amber, Chloe Price, and Max Caulfield), or "Grahamscott" (Warren Graham and Brooke Scott).
  • Mass Effect:
    • Portmanteau couple names involving Shepard are quite predictable. Shepard/Kaidan Alenko is "Shenko", Shepard/Garrus Vakarian is "Shakarian" or "Sharrus" (although the former is much more common), Shepard/Thane Krios is "Shrios", Shepard/Joker is "Shoker", Shepard/Liara T'Soni is "Shoni" or "Shiara", Shepard/Ashley Williams is "Shepley", and Shepard/Javik is "Shavik". Often these names implicitly refer to female Shepard, but sometimes people will differentiate between pairings involving male and female Shepard (e.g., "femShenko" and "mShenko").
    • For non-Shepard ships, Joker/EDI is occasionally called Jedi, Liara/Javik is "T'Sovik", Tali/Kal'Reegar is "Kali", and Ashley Williams/Kaidan Alenko is "Wilenko".
    • Tali/Garrus, which actually happens in Mass Effect 3 if you didn't romance either of them, is "Talibrations". (Garrus' half of the portmanteau is supplied by his memetically incessant calibrating of the Normandy's main cannon in 2.)
  • Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance gives us Sam + Raiden = SamuRaï. Also a Punny Name considering that both of them have a samurai theme.
  • Metal Gear Solid:
    • On the topic of Solid Snake, the only reasonable way to portmanteau Snake/Otacon is by using the Japanese pairing name — Otasune (note that this implies that Snake is the Uke). Western fans who want to portmanteau the pairing (most don't) either have to hijack the Japanese word, use 'Snotacon' (which has been parodied in fanworks), or decide whether Snakon or Snacon should be used.
    • Still on the topic of Snake; from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater's fandom, we get Volkov for the infamous canon Volgin-Raikov relationship, Ocekov for Ocelot-Raikov, and Bosselot for Big Boss/Ocelot.
  • The Metroid series has a few, the most popular being Rundamus or Runmus (Rundas/Samus), Ghandradamus (Ghandrayda/Samus), and more recently, Ianmus (Ian/Samus) and Adamus (Adam/Samus).
  • Night in the Woods has Maebea for Mae/Bea, provided by one of Mae's journal entries as a pun on "maybe". Fans are indecisive on what to call Official Couple Gregg/Angus, though; using Grangus, Angregg and everything in between.
  • A lot of these show up in Onmyōji (2016), but special mention goes to the Arakawa-no-aruji × Ichimokuren and Susabi × Ichimokuren pairings, as Arakawa-no-aruji's name (荒川の主) and Susabi's name (荒) start with the same kanji. If you see a kanji ship name that is 荒目, that's AraMoku, and if it's 荒一, that's SusaIchi. note
  • Overwatch ship names include: Widowtracer for Widowmaker/Tracer, McReaper for McCree/Reaper, Pharmercy for Pharah/Mercy (which doubles as a pun on Mercy's medical profession), Genyatta for Genji/Zenyatta, Roadrat for Roadhog/Junkrat, Reaper76 for Reaper/Soldier:76, Symmercy for Symmetra/Mercy, Junkmetra for Junkrat/Symmetra, Gency for Genji/Mercy, Mercymaker for Mercy/Widowmaker, Junkmei for Mei/Junkrat, and Tremily for Tracer/Emily.
  • Every single pairing in Portal has a near-universally used one: Chelley (Chell/Wheatley), ChellDOS (Chell/GLaDOS), Chellmann (Chell/Doug Rattmann)... as you can see, the fans think Chell Really Gets Around. For the few non Chell pairings, we have Cavealine (Cave/Caroline), Spaceosity (Space Core/Curiosity Core), Factventure (Adventure "Rick" Core/Fact Core), Angrality (Anger Core/Morality Core) and WheatDOS (Wheatley/GLaDOS).
  • The Puyo Puyo fandom have taken to using "SigAmi" to refer to Amitie/Sig, "ScheArl" for Schezo/Arle, "MaguRin" for Maguro/Ringo, just to name a few examples (and certainly not all of them).
  • Resident Evil has a quite few of these: Claire Redfield/Leon S. Kennedy is "Cleon", Ada Wong/Leon is "Aeon", Chris Redfield/Jill Valentine is “Valenfield“, Chris Redfield/Leon is "Creon". There's also "Chrisker" for Chris/Wesker, Nivanfield for Piers Nivans/Chris, “Valeveira” for Jill/Carlos Oliveira, and Claire/Steve Burnside is "Cleve". Thanks to Resident Evil Village we now also have “Winterfield” for Chris Redfield/Ethan Winters and "Wintersberg" for Heisenberg/Ethan Winters.
  • Sonic the Hedgehog:
    • "Sonadow" (Sonic/Shadow), "Shackles" (Shadow/Knuckles), "Sonamy" (Sonic/Amy) and "Shadamy" (Shadow/Amy), among others. Lots of others.
    • There's "Shadouge" (Shadow/Rouge), "Taiream" (Tails/Cream), "Taismo" (Tails/Cosmo), "Sonaze" (Sonic/Blaze), "Silvaze" (Silver/Blaze), "Silvamy" (Silver/Amy), "Taimy" (Tails/Amy), "Knuxouge" (Knuckles/Rouge), "Sontails" or "Sonails" (Sonic/Tails), "Shadaria" (Shadow/Maria)...
    • "Sonunckles" (Sonic/Knuckles). Or "Suckles". Not for the "suck=bad" notion, but for the fact that the thought of "suckling" being involved drives others to squick territory.
    • "Tikaos" is the fandom's name for the Chaos/Tikal pairing. This got confusing once a character actually named Tikaos was introduced. (Who, incidentally, was a fusion of the two, meaning it could be a nod to the fandom's habit of making up names like this).
    • Sonic Boom references Sonamy by name, as one of many in-universe fanfics written by a Misery-style fanboy.
    • The third Twitter Takeover references Sonadow by name when Eggman receives a message from Infinite in the form of a file by that name. To which Sonic reacts...loudly while Shadow reacts with a bit more tact.
    • And then the fourth has Tails reference Sonamy by name when Sonic runs away after Tails, Eggman and Shadow start teasing him about Amy.
Tails: Wow, he's not normally like that. Well, one thing's for sure now; the Sonamy fans are gonna go nuts.
  • Star Fox has Frystal (Fox/Krystal), Falox (Falco/Fox), Wolox (Wolf/Fox) and Jimpep (James/Peppy).
  • Super Mario Bros.:
  • Some variations exist in Super Robot Wars, most prominently KyoCellen (Kyosuke/Excellen), the current Official Couple of the OG series. And then by OG Gaiden, there's another variant like AxFimi (Axel/Alfimi). Also AxMia (Axel/Lamia), or alternatively called LaXel.
  • Fans of Super Smash Bros. Brawl who enjoy the semi-canonical resident Crack Pairing of Solid Snake / Samus Aran almost universally refer to it as Snakus (those who don't most likely use the term Solid Samus).
    • There's also Pike (Ike/Pit), Mike (Ike/Marth), Like (Ike/Link), Mink (Marth/Link), and Pink (Pit/Link). For the ladies, Samus/Zelda has got Zelus, and Zelda/Peach has Pelda.
    • With a game with so many characters from so many video games, the possibilities are almost limitless. A few examples are Smarthus (Marth/Samus), Shike (Sheik/Ike), Meta Puff (Meta Knight/Jigglypuff), and Nessna (Ness/Nana). Total possible ships: 1,764! And that doesn't even take the Assist Trophies into account.
    • Resident Foe Yay Ship Galeem/Dharkon is generally referred to as Dharkleem.
  • While Official Couple Cheria and Asbel from Tales of Graces don't really have a common moniker, the popular pairing Richard/Asbel goes by the amusingly appropriate nickname RichAss.
  • In Tales of Phantasia fandom: "Chess" (Cless/Chester) and "Archester" (Chester/Arche).
  • Tales of Symphonia:
    • The fandom does this as well — any two characters' names can be and probably have been snapped together to name a pairing, whether that pairing is written by anyone or not. Lots of people write Kranna (Kratos/Anna), Kraine (Kratos/Raine), Shelloyd (Lloyd/Sheena), Colloyd ([Colette/Lloyd) Sheelos (Sheena/Zelos), and Zelloyd (Zelos/Lloyd) but terms like Sheenis (Sheena/Genis) and Kralette (Kratos/Colette) are also not unheard of, despite these pairings being exceedingly improbable.
    • There's also Raingal (Raine/Regal) and Shuan (Sheena/Yuan). And fans of Puppy Love have Gesea (Genis/Presea), which comes with a warning against naming it with the names switched...
  • There are only a few to come out of Tales of the Abyss. One is the surprisingly popular Guytalia (Guy/Natalia), and another is Jadist, (Jade/Dist) which is just amazing because it sounds like a pun on fonist.
  • In Tales of Vesperia, Yuri himself create the name for the, erm, yuri pairing Ristelle (Rita/Estelle) in-universe. Naturally, this drove the yuri fans completely wild. Fans also have created Yustelle (Yuri/Estelle), Reirita (Raven/Rita), and Fluri (Yuri/Flynn).
  • Team Fortress 2's One True Pairing of Heavy/Medic doesn't have a portmanteau name (how exactly would one smash together "Heavy" and "Medic," anyway? Hevic? Medy?), but the second most-preferred couple Spy and Sniper does: Spyper. This video suggests the hilariously unfortunate portmanteau of Spy and Pyro.
  • Touhou:
    • For Alice/Marisa there is both "MAlice" (though more often in reference to Imperishable Night, in which you can switch between the two characters, but there's a sort of bug which effectively allows you to hit an enemy with both of their attacks simultaneously, which fans have dubbed "Malice Cannon"), and "MariAri" (since the Japanese way of saying "Alice" would be "Arisu"; in English it's "MariAli").
    • Some Reimu/Yukari shippers are given to using the term "YukaRei" for their pet pairing.
    • Other examples include "TeruMoko" (Kaguya + Mokou, "Teruyo" being a deliberate misreading of the kanji for "Kaguya"; also known as "KaguMoko" in English), "MeiSaku" (Meiling + Sakuya),"ReiMari" (Marisa+Reimu), "UdoMyon" (Reisen aka Udongein + Youmu, who is often known as "Myon" for an exclamation she utters... once) etc.
  • Trails Series
  • Undertale has, among others, "Alphyne" (Alphys/Undyne), "Undyrus" (Papyrus/Undyne), "Soriel" (Sans/Toriel), and "Torigore" or "Asgoriel" (Toriel/Asgore). Asriel would be a potential third name for the last one, but...well, that's their kid. That Asgore named.
  • Similarly, Deltarune has many of these. Some common ones include Suselle for Susie/Noelle and Krilsei for Kris/Ralsei, but more...unusual...pairings include Lansusie for Susie/Lancer and Krispam or Spamtis for Kris/Spamton.
  • The increasing popularity of Yakuza has led to a number of these:
    • For Daigo alone, there's RyuDai for Ryuji/Daigo, MineDai for Mine/Daigo, MajiDai for Majima/Daigo, and ShinaDai for Shinada/Daigo.
    • For Majima, there's KazuMaji for Kazuma/Majima, MajiMako for Majima/Makoto, SagaMaji (or SagaMa on Pixiv) for Sagawa/Majima, and SaeMaji for Saejima/Majima.
    • For other pairings, there's SaeBaba for Saejima/Shigeki Baba, AkiHana for Akiyama/Hana, and KiriNishiki for Kiryu/Nishiki.
