The 3rd Battlegroup of the Robot War Division was the original Task Force 79 created by Bright Noa to prevent the Grand United Alliance of Evil from invading defenceless fictional universes. This idea was so radical for the time (the GUAG was pursuing defensive rather than interventionist strategies) that GUAE spies were dispatched to kill the idea before it took off. It failed and in fact accelerated the expansion of Bright's forces into a full division of the Alliance. TF 79 was reconstituted as the Robot War Division's 3rd Battlegroup, the first responders should a mecha universe be under threat from outside invaders. For this purpose they can work on land and in space and are largely considered the elite.

Their headquarters is Joint Base Minovsky, situated in the sub-house of Military Technology with Colonel Sergei Smirnov as garrison commander. All units in the Battlegroup are mobile to facilitate rapid responses to emergencies.

• Reason for Joining: To be there if Optimus is gone or defeated, as he is among those in the chain of command meant to succeed Optimus as leader of the Autobots. He was one of those who led the reinforcement task force against the Decepticons and picked out the Autobots who would later become the second wave of Transformers deities in the Pantheon. He refused to lead the Battlegroup due to lack of self-confidence but eventually acceded after a long pep-talk from his mentor Kup.
• Loyalty to Cosmos: Very High. True loyalty is very common in the Autobot cause and Hot Rod is a shining beacon of loyalty in the GUAG. Cosmos is a friend of the Autobots, so he's loyal.
• Threat Level: High normally, becomes 'Extreme'' as Rodimus with the power of the Matrix. Hot Rod may be a brash and headstrong bot (bordering on arrogance at times) but is a strong and caring leader at his core. In terms of ability he is a well-rounded warrior and racer, especially with the many sports car modes he has. The only thing that really holds him back is his poor reputation as a Replacement Scrappy and that his role is being largely subsumed by Bumblebee. He doesn't let this get him down though.

• Reason for Joining: GUAE represents every evil that Kouji opposes the moment he chose to use Mazinger Z to rid the world of all evils. So, obviously!
• Loyalty to Cosmos: High. given another chance after his screw up concerning becoming Duke Fleed's second banana, he's truly not losing this chance. Plus, hey, he's a representative of Good an all...
• Threat Level: EXTREME; with Mazinger Z obtaining the God Scrander via the hand of Zeus, the first Super Robot now has a bigger threat level than normal and with Mazinkaiser among them, he's not willing to let anyone find out if the machine can surpass God or Devil, especially him. Not to mention, there's a reason why Kouji is considered a part of the 'Holy Trinity of Super Robot Wars', alongside Amuro and Ryouma: He's very experienced in fighting many gigantic threats other than Dr. Hell's minions.

Rossiu Adai, God of Misplaced Genre Savviness (Forehead Boy)

• Rank: Major General (O-8)
• Subordinates: The rest of Team Dai-Gurren
• Reason for Joining: Was offered a key leadership position in the 3rd Battlegroup as military commander of the Dai-Gurren Brigade. He was torn due to his commitments as commander-in-chief of New Kamina City and lingering regret over his extreme methods to protect humanity from the Anti-Spirals. He only consented after the Anti-Spiral ascended as a member of the Grand United Alliance of Destruction.
• Loyalty to Cosmos: High. She helped him shake off the last of his doubts about the dangers of the Pantheon and hardened his resolve to fight the villains of the GUAE and GUAD. He is very relieved that Cosmos is now leading the GUAG into an interventionist phase to prevent their enemies from conquering innocent universes like his.
• Threat Level: Moderate to High. This is not from any sort of piloting skill but an iron grasp of leadership skills and political acumen. Rossiu is best suited to planning and non-combat roles, managing supplies and mediating the tense rivalry between Real Robot and Super Robot elements of the Robot War Division. He has gained a considerable reputation for handling refugees of all species that were affected by the invasions of the Grand United Alliance of Evil. Many in the Division look up to him as an example of an ideal flag officer.

Brainiac and the evil-aligned members of the Grand United Alliance of Machines have made him step up his game in regards to participation.
• Loyalty to Cosmos: Very High. WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK HE IS!? Loyal, of course! Especially since Cosmos sometimes allows Kamina to wreak havoc for the sake of goodness. His respect for Ryoma Nagare and Bright Noa, the latter of whom he treats like an Old Master is unparalleled and he obeys their orders almost to the letter (except, of course when he knows they're being forced to under bad circumstances).
• Threat level: VERY HIGH. Even more than with other Super Robots, the laws of physics and nature are chew toys for him and his spirit never dies even if his body fails him. Battles in the Gurren Lagann with him captaining it can wreak havoc on a galactic scale! Plus, he rivals Bright for most important source of morale in the division, his oratory skills rivalling even that of Gihren Zabi.

• Loyalty to Cosmos: Very High. She allegedly helped Kamina ascend to the Pantheon and as such he'll be her bro for life! As long as Kamina is on the team at least, his loyalty is absolute. Could drop to just High at times depending on the circumstances.
• Threat Level: EXTREME. For the same reason as Kamina, only more so. Apart from anything else, he is capable of singlehandedly fueling a mecha the size of the moon with nothing but his own courage, and can generate a mecha the size and shape of an entire universe if given some focal aid by comrades. The very fabric of reality can warp to his whims when his blood gets hot enough. If you're talking statistics, he has the single highest level of Spiral Power in the entire team, surpassing the likes of Kamina and Lordgenome.

For personal reasons, he has plenty of rivals and arch-enemies in the Decepticon ranks and is looking to settle some scores.
• Loyalty to Cosmos: High. He can be very vocal on how naive she is at times about how the enemy has some kind of inherent goodness but she welcomes his criticism as the mark of a discerning leader, one of his key attributes. Bumblebee has a deep sense of loyalty and some Hero Worship towards his leader Optimus Prime and is starting to feel the same for Cosmos.
• Threat Level: High. Bumblebee is a born leader and one of Optimus’ most trusted soldiers. Originally a reckless but committed rookie, he has grown to become one of the most experienced and wisest of the Autobots and is most likely the Autobot to take over in the chain of command after Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod. He will never back down from a challenge and as a Pint-Sized Powerhouse can dish out savage attacks on anyone who threatens his friends. Bumblebee is a true leader, small but brave.

• Threat Level: Very High. Super robots run on hot blood. Domon is GOD of hot blood. You do the math. Borderline EXTREME when partnered with his student Sekai Kamiki, as their combined Jigen Haoh techniques once destroyed an entire army of powerful MS sent by Gihren Zabi. In fact, they were destroyed so fast that details of their production weren't even in GUAE records, making them bitter enemies of the entire Cohort's R&D division. They've sent out plenty of warnings regarding the danger Domon presents.

They desire peace in the Pantheon and a triumphant victory over the forces of the GUAE, having suffered the worst of what war has to offer, be it the challenges of surviving in a warring state (Setsuna), losing loved ones to terrorists and warmongers (the Lockons), and horrifying human experimentation (Allelujah and Soma). Cosmos understands these wishes, such as Setsuna's claim that he is a Gundam, i.e. a harbinger of peace and security, and seeks only the best for them as a result.
• Threat Level: High for all, though slightly lower for Soma/Marie as the latter persona. Setsuna is of particular note, as he has evolved beyond the stated limits of even true Innovators (with help from the ELS). And that's not even counting the abilities of his main unit - a Game-Breaker with the Quantum System, a communications system that enhances his brainwaves and allows him to comprehend divine information whilst communicating with any sentient being with a living mind. The rest have their own finely-honed skills, such as the Lockons' well-trained eyes for sniping.

• Reason for Joining: The GUAE has many members who would gladly have murdered that little girl and puppy he still mourns that he killed unknowingly, and like so many other anti-war veterans, he fights to prevents more innocents like them from dying at the GUAE's hands. His message to them? Omae o korosu.
• Loyalty to Cosmos: She asked him to help stop the spread of evil. Upon hearing that his long-time ally (and Love Interest) Relena Darlian supported her agenda, his words were simple: "Mission Accepted."
• Threat Level: Moderate to High. Heero was previously known for loads of destruction during his days as an assassin and that's not even counting his flight time in a mobile suit. Furthermore, he's not afraid to destroy his own Gundam when he's in a tight situation in order to prevent the GUAE from reverse-engineering most of his mech's technology, particularly the ZERO System AND the Twin Buster Rifle since he can survive a blast from his Gundam's fusion reactor anyway. And that's not even counting that he's the most focused and skilled of the five Gundam Pilots, as he believes emotion on the battlefield will lead to recklessness and inevitable heartbreak.

Lordgenome

Lordgenome, God of Beating Mechas with His Bare Hands (Lord Genome, The Spiral King, Biocomputer)

• Reason for Joining: To redeem himself for the atrocities he perpetrated as supreme ruler of Earth and to serve as the Dai-Gurren Brigade's navigator and the GUAG's principal authority on the Anti-Spirals. He also serves as a senior mobile suit instructor for trainee pilots specializing in Gunmen.
• Loyalty to Cosmos: Low to Medium. This is mostly down to her disapproval of the way Lordgenome tried to protect humanity from the Anti-Spirals, by forcing them underground and killing those who made it to the surface. Lordgenome maintains that he acted for the best and unlike Cosmos, was not omnipotent and could not simply eliminate the Anti-Spirals manually. To this day, they maintain a cordial partnership at best. There are many other deities in the Alliance that have worse relations with Lordgenome.
• Threat Level: Very High. Even if Team Dai-Gurren managed to outwit and kill him he is still among the most powerful users of Spiral Energy, not to mention that he is highly intelligent and long-lived, otherwise Rossiu wouldn't have harvested his tissues for access to his many memories. His mecha, the pitch black Lazengann is more self-sufficient than the original, no longer requiring the support of his personal concubines to function at full power.

Ryoma Nagare

• Reason for Joining: While his own nature makes him intolerant of evil, Ryoma's true reason for joining the GUAG is the potential to test himself against some of the most powerful and evil beings in existence. Ryoma NEVER backs down from a challenge.
• Loyalty to Cosmos: Medium. Ryoma isn't loyal to anyone but himself, but he is not antagonistic to Cosmos either. He also has that little thing called a Sense of Justice that completely prohibits him from siding with Melkor.
• Threat Level: EXTREME. As God of Super Robot Pilots, every super robot pilot in existence is willing to follow him into battle. His robot itself is a god! Ryoma has also stomped gods flat before without breaking much of a sweat, and even destroyed planets as a result of a fight. The GUAE has only a few members who could give Ryoma a serious hard time. He also has a fondness for team-ups, and many of the gods who pilot robots are willing to die for him if need be (as he would for them).

• Reason for Joining: To be with Kyosuke being the clingy attached girlfriend that she is, and to keep her friends Setsuko and Lamia from being hurt like she was by the GUAE.
• Loyalty to Cosmos: She trusts Cosmos with her life (almost), even though Cosmos has always refused to go on a parade wearing bunny suit with her. Just as long as she doesn't start hitting on Kyosuke (which is unlikely).
• Threat Level: Low to Moderate, switching to full Moderate should she be hurt. If she's hurt, Kyosuke will rear his head and attack like a million raging dragons. Current strategy is to only deal her extreme damage if one, the attacking pilot is extremely competent and two, Kyosuke can be taken out of the fight first.

• Loyalty to Cosmos: High. The forces of evil are tough, but Kyosuke always has faith in Cosmos and the forces of Good. Besides, he doesn't mind betting on the tough odds. He's been in some near unwinnable battles and understands the difficulty when it comes to insurmountable odds like mecha which can end a Multiverse. There's a reason why he became one of the top aces of the Division, and Cosmos knows that isn't just dumb luck, it's skill. She believes in him and he believes in her as well.
• Threat Level: Very High. The GUAE Mecha Cohort just can't seem to understand why he's always the bitch of luck when it comes with dealing with Kyosuke. Even without his luck, Kyosuke is an exceptional mecha pilot, enough to be one of the Holy Quartet, the top four aces of the Division. Char even admits that Kyosuke is also an exceptional leader, having commanded the Real Robots unit of the old Division. His suit, the Alt Eisen Riese, is famously a difficult-to-pilot Ace Custom due to its physical implausibility and powers in a real robot-esque environment.

Cosmos was one of the people who helped him get back on his feet.
• Threat Level: Medium to High. Despite the above flaws, Graham is among the greatest of the Division's Oldtype (normal human) pilots. In combat he proves highly versatile in both melee combat (his specialty as Mr. Bushido) and long-range combat. It proved so good that after his Near-Death Experience with the ELS he was recruited by Celestial Being as one of their Gundam Meisters. And did we mention that he is a CHAR?

Tekkadan has a very pragmatic "we'll kill anyone or anything that hurts us" combat doctrine that is very different from the more idealistic Gundam pilots, especially Amuro. Orga maintains that Tekkadan doesn't like how the rest of the Division is merciful as hell, and he'll gladly walk away from Cosmos if anything comes up. Mikazuki is utterly loyal to Orga and goes along with most of what he says. Orga has thus requested that Tekkadan be assigned to missions where their responses can be more flexible.
• Threat Level: Moderate to High for both. Even though Mika's Gundam isn't as advanced as the others, he is an absolute MONSTER on the battlefield, especially when he draws out his Gundam's latent power. In order to prevent him from over-using it or needlessly sacrificing himself, it has been "modified" to lock Mika out of requesting for this power except in certain circumstances or when temporarily unlocked by a special code entrusted to Amuro. Orga is a ruthless commander and Tekkadan's Morality Pet so if he loses it, expect there to be blood. LOTS of blood.

Notwithstanding the limited ammo of his main unit, he still has the capability to lay down suppression fire against Melkor's forces. He's not the type to wastes his ammo for naught.

While he may be a tad unscrupulous in combat, his Noble Demon status makes this no cause for alarm and the GUAG condones his conduct and some even encourage it, so he's loyal especially if the rest of Team Dai-Gurren is.
• Threat Level: VERY HIGH, for the same reasons as Kamina, Simon, and Guy. He might not be able to bend reality like they can, but his actual combat experience makes up for it. His status as a back-up for Kamina also makes his elimination a priority. In addition to this, he has been trained as a soldier in the Human Eradication Army in comparison to the rest, who initially had little to no combat training.

She's deeply caring and protective of the young ones in the Pantheon, even the hardened and precocious and she despises those who would commit mass slaughter without caring for them. As a note, she only wears her Stripperific clothes around Team Dai-Gurren, if meeting anyone else in the Division substitutes with a red uniform similar to Rossiu's or a red leather jacket with a black vest and tights.
• Loyalty to Cosmos: Very High. She wants to protect the children from being hurt or enslaved by Melkor and Yoko is all for that.
• Threat Level: High. She may not possess as much Spiral Power as her partners Simon and Kamina but she got to be the female member of the main trio for a reason. Yoko is an absolute demon with firearms and as much a threat with a Real Robot mecha as she is with the Yoko M Tank (for the record, she has used an M1A Astray in her personal red and black colours before).

Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, Goddesses Made of Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice and Fingerless Hands, to the surprise of many, do possess a Humongous Mecha called the DYnamic NAnotechtonic MOnobot, DYNAMO for short, created by Professor Utonium, God of Fatherly Scientists. The reason it hasn't been used is because 1) They already take on Kaiju with their fists, and 2) the last time they used it, they caused so much destruction that the Mayor of Townsville made them promise never to use it again (though he accidentally put it on autopilot once). With greater threats in the Pantheon, he has lifted this restriction, except on Townsville. They are currently serving as liaisons from the Superhero Division.

Additionally, it turns out that the The Powerpuff Girls Z, Goddesses of Characters Who Are Not Related In the Adaptation, have their own DYNAMO as well called Powerpuff Dynamo Z. They are currently serving as liaisons from the Magical Girl Sisterhood.
