Multiple stories

  • Central Theme: This collection has LGBT+ themed stories and how it either led to their assaults or other hardships.
  • Colourful Theme Naming: All the characters' names are based on or connected to colours or patterns.

Vexillum Iris - Vita (Shimmer), Medella (Sunburst), Solis (Linden), Natura (Glee), Serenitas (Lumina), and Spiritus (Faban)

  • Boomerang Bigot: They're all gay and style themselves as "ambassadors of the community", but bully people they think don't count or are expressing their queerness wrongly.
  • Catfishing: Laverna ran a blog pretending to be a gay trans woman to get queer teenagers to listen to her, and groomed them into attacking people she told them were dangerous or offensive to the gay community. She's also mentioned to have persuaded the group to all attend college in Calisota, implying she had plans to harm them in real life.
  • Cyberbullying: They made nasty comments online to people they didn't think should be included in the queer community. Laverna took it much further, harassing Elina personally as a follow-up to having done something horrible to her in real life.
  • Death of a Child: Elina tags for "child murder" on her mostly-concealed post about what Laverna did to her.
  • Heteronormative Crusaders: They mention having had difficulty with anti-gay families, but they repeat the same behaviour on people they don't consider to be the "right" kind of queer.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: Some of them brought up some good points of those that side with Jasper over Lapis.
  • Meaningful Name: "Vexillum Iris" means "rainbow flag", and their individual names are the Latin names for the symbolism of each stripe in the gay pride flag - red Life, orange Healing, yellow Sunlight, green Nature, blue Harmony, and purple Spirit.
  • Queer Colors: It's noted that not all of them are wearing the right colours for their stripe, but the text colours on their blogs are and their blog names relate to those colours. Shimmer's is pink instead of red but her blog handle is "pinkisred".
  • Related in the Adaptation: Laverna turns out to be Elina's mother.
  • We Used to Be Friends: They're all very upset to find out Laverna's real intentions, and later chapters imply Sunburst has had a falling-out with both boys because they sided with Jasper over Lapis.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: Their intention was to protect the vulnerable queer community from harm. Unfortunately, they were easily led by Laverna into being cruel to people they perceived as threats.

The Golden Mantella Metamorphosed (Rachel Bighead)

  • The '90s: Like Rocko's story, the first part of hers is in the 90s.
  • Author Avatar: Baby Fathead is her self-insert, as in Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling, which is made more obvious as the baby's journey in the Fatheads cartoon serves as a metaphor for Rachel's story.
  • I Have No Son!: As in her canon, Rachel was disowned twice. First for not becoming a businessman and second after coming out.
  • LGBT Awakening: She realized sometime after temporarily quitting her job that she was trans.
  • Loony Fan: She was stalked and chased after by several of her fans, and it's implied they assaulted her too.
  • Meaningful Name: A golden mantella is a type of frog; in canon Rachel is a toad, and the cartoon characters she designed are toads. Frogs metamorphose from tadpoles, and certain frogs can change sex; Rachel transitioned and feels much better for it.
  • Reclusive Artistinvoked: She cancelled future convention appearances and distanced herself from her fans due to being mobbed and possibly assaulted outside her studio. Eventually, she goes off the grid altogether.
  • Show Within a Show: The chapter is based around an episode of her cartoon series, The Fatheads.
  • Toilet Humor: Her cartoon climaxes with Baby Fathead being used to produce vast amounts of poop for pigs, as a metaphor for Rachel having produced so much work for the studio.
  • Trans Tribulations: She suffered from dysphoria before realizing she was trans and spent years being mocked for supposedly being gay, including being assaulted by her abusive producer. After beginning her transition, she came out to her parents, only for her dad to reject her. However, it's implied they reconcile after she debuts her cartoon, as in the original special.
  • Unconventional Formatting: Her story is told through one of her cartoons.

Cujo Camouflage (Steele)

See With Pearl And Ruby Glowing Antagonists.

Petrifica Scarlata (Ruby Rose)

  • Broken Pedestal: Like JNPR, she looked up to Ratigan, but that fell apart when he kidnapped her.
  • Child Prodigy: She's smart enough that she entered college at fifteen years old.
  • Deer in the Headlights: She froze up in fear when Ratigan locked Felicia in a room with her. This actually helped her to not get eaten.
  • Fear Is the Appropriate Response: She was so scared of Felicia that she froze and stared at her, which kept her from being eaten until help arrived.
  • Grade Skipper: Graduated high school at fifteen.
  • The Reveal: In her chapter, we find out what happened to Pyrrha. Namely, Ratigan kidnapped her, waited until her estrogen wore off so that she looked male again, raped her and then fed her to Felicia.
  • Trans Tribulations: Played with. Her family accepted her transition, and even Ratigan still addresses her as "Miss", but he kidnapped her with the intention of keeping her till her estrogen wore off and she looked like a boy, then raping and killing her.

Blackpowder and Lead (Lucky Luke and Calamity Jane)

  • Abuse Mistake: Jolly thought Jane raped Luke to produce Jackie since he knew Luke wasn't interested in sex. Luke explains that Jackie isn't actually his biologically.
  • Child by Rape: Phil Fastfinger raped Jane when she rejected him, which resulted in Jackie.
  • Give the Baby a Father: Luke married Jane to help raise her daughter Jackie.
  • I Am Not Your Father: Luke pretended that Jackie was his, but since he's asexual, Jolly accuses Jane of raping him, so he's forced to reveal the truth. Jackie was upset by this revelation, but Luke says he's still her dad even if they're not biologically related.
  • Ironic Name: According to "Forensic Kits", "Lucky" is actually Luke's first name, and considering how Jake raped and tortured him, he definitely wasn't lucky. Then again, the bullet did miss his spine.
  • Platonic Co-Parenting: They're both on the asexual spectrum and are raising Jane's daughter Jackie together.
  • Platonic Life-Partners: Jane and Luke are in a queerplatonic relationship.
  • Sexless Marriage: The relationship is queerplatonic, i.e. no sexual interest on either part, but Jane and Luke are legally married and are raising Jane's daughter together.

Parts of Monochrome - Body (Michael), Mind (Maya), and Soul Sista (Penny)

  • Abuse Mistake: Penny called the cops about what she thought was a strange white man kidnapping Maya, only to find that said man was the one of Maya's two dads whom she hadn't met yet.
  • Abusive Parents: Michael's father neglected him and forced him to join the football team for being queer.
  • Ambiguous Gender Identity: Michael uses he/she/they pronouns, but doesn't mention her specific identity in the chapter.
  • Ass Shove: Michael's perpetrators shoved sports equipment inside him.
  • Facial Horror: Penny ends up with a scar on her face from halothane burns.
  • Interrupted Suicide: Penny is about to slit one of her wrists when her siblings end up getting rescued.
  • Self-Harm: Penny cuts herself after her friends abandon her for calling the cops on one of Maya's dads.
  • A Tragedy of Impulsiveness: Sometime after she got rescued from the Ark, Penny saw a white man grab Maya's arm. She knew that Maya had two dads and only met one of them, but didn't think to call her to see if he was the other one and assumed that he was kidnapping her. She called the cops on them, which resulted in Maya getting pissed at Penny and also caused the rest of Penny's friends (minus Michael) to abandon her.

The Bubblegum Popstar (Tyler)

  • Alcohol-Induced Idiocy: During the party and after underage drinking, Tyler sexually assaulted Meilin.
  • Asshole Victim: Downplayed. Even if he was the one who started it, he ended up needing medical attention and is entitled to feel upset about that.
  • Blaming the Victim: Tyler half-undressed and groped Meilin in front of the entire party, and she gets blamed for retaliating, with the implication of misogyny, classism, and racism (Tyler is also partly Asian, but Meilin's family is much more traditional) being among the reasons. She did kick him in the groin hard enough to make him bleed, so it's understandable that people who didn't witness it might blame her, but he was the one who started it.
  • Effeminate Misogynistic Guy: Tyler's gay and into boy bands, but sexually/misogynistically bullies Meilin because it upsets her.
  • Groin Attack: After Tyler assaulted her, Meilin kicked him in the nuts so many times that they started bleeding.
  • Jerkass Realization: After hearing Aaron Z. say on TV that anyone who uses his name to assault someone is no fan of his, Tyler started to feel immense guilt over his treatment of Meilin.
  • Karma Houdini: Deconstructed; he barely gets into any trouble for how he treated Meilin and feels like he should be punished because he assaulted her first.
  • Kids Raiding the Wine Cabinet: During his birthday party, Tyler passes around a bottle of booze from his parents' liquor cabinet and gets everyone at his party drunk.
  • Pervert Revenge Mode: Deconstructed. Meilin's retaliation wasn't seen as justified and people saw him as the victim of the situation, even people that were there. However, Tyler doesn't see it that way, as he really did assault her.
  • Spoiled Brat: In spades. Rich kid? Check. Doting parents? Check. Utterly insufferable? Check, check and check.
  • Reformed, but Rejected: He tries to give Meilin and her friends a card to the Palace, but they tear it up, saying they don't want to be there if he is.

Libra Lack-Lustre - Dike tis Adikías (Biggs Jasper) and Adikia i Díkaii (Ocean Jasper)

  • Adaptation Name Change: Biggs' name is flipped to "Jasper Biggs," and Ocean's name is "Onja Jaspe".
  • Broken Pedestal: Implied. Biggs' name was on the petition she ripped up.
  • Brutal Honesty: Ocean Jasper outright admits she thinks most of the Palace members are idiots due to initially siding with Jasper when she went to tell her story.
  • Child by Rape: Ocean Jasper got pregnant when Jasper raped her in her hotel room.
  • Flame War: During Ocean Jasper's story, the movie fragments depict people on WaddleWorld arguing over whether Lapis or Jasper is the victim.
  • Gender-Blender Name: "Jasper" becomes Biggs Jasper's first name.
  • Inn Security: When Biggs and Ocean were staying at Hotel Transylvania, Jasper went to each of their rooms and assaulted them.
  • Narrative Profanity Filter: When he was mocked during the flamewar, Steven said something to Ruby Trollman that was bad enough to get him suspended from the site and his post removed, and all we see is the moderator comment saying it was removed. Considering what we see WaddleWorld leave up, it must have been pretty bad.
  • Paper Destruction of Anger: Biggs angrily rips up the petition to get Lapis removed from the Palace.
  • Tranquil Fury: Ocean Jasper shows no emotion when dressing down the Palace for believing Jasper over Lapis.
  • Unconventional Formatting: The first half of the chapter is a petition signed by several Palace members to get Lapis kicked out of the group and the second half is comprised of WaddleWorld posts about the trial.

Pinkwash Pryde (Randor)

  • Dragged into Drag: In prison, Adam is only given a dress to wear as a way to humiliate him.
  • Punny Name: He-Man, in this 'verse, gets dubbed "Haman", after the folkloric figure who attempted anti-Semitic genocide, by the press for hindering Israeli expansion and "Hamia", meaning "protector", by the Palestinians.
  • Reports of My Death Were Greatly Exaggerated: Adam is actually alive and in prison, but Randor doesn't know that.
  • "Well Done, Son" Guy: Adam was willing to die rather than have his father find out he was gay and be ashamed of him, and Randor bitterly regrets not appreciating his son now.
  • Your Terrorists Are Our Freedom Fighters: A victim of oppression by the IDF, he is forced to physically confront soldiers and demolition teams threatening his city. He also reveres the analog to He-Man, "Hamia", as a protector and guardian of the people while Israel and its allies see him as a menace.

Cyan (girl) and Cerise (boy)

  • Breast Attack: Taffy cut his own breasts off and ended up in the hospital.
  • Childhood Friend Romance: Possibly; they grew up together and clearly love each other deeply, though it's not stated whether it's romantic or not.
  • Foil: To each other, regarding their gender. Skye has no body dysphoria and fears being picked on by exclusionists, while Taffy's is severe enough that he's willing to mutilate himself instead of waiting for proper surgery.
  • More than Mind Control: Taffy admits to Skye that even before meeting Bill he want to remove his breasts, he simply just fed into those feelings and give him the means to do so.
  • Named by the Adaptation: The characters are unnamed in the original music video. Here their deadnames are Toby and Hana, after the video's creators, and they choose the names Skye and Taffy.
  • Non-Indicative Name: "Cyan"/Skye dresses in pink and "Cerise"/Taffy dresses in blue. Justified since they chose their Palace names from each other's favorite colors.
  • Self-Harm: Bill manipulated Taffy into cutting his own breasts off, and Taffy also used the knife to cut his arms.

Rozovo (Wolfie)

  • Dr. Jerk: Kaa molested and misdiagnosed him when he was little.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Kaa insists that because Wolfie didn't like it when he molested him, that means he's trans, even though no child would like being touched in that way, and whether or not someone is okay with being touched at all is a terrible way to tell if someone is trans in general.
  • Law of Inverse Fertility: He's distressed to find that HRT left him infertile.
  • Meaningful Name: Uses his first name "Rozovo", which is a male Bulgarian name that means "pink".
  • Open-Minded Parent: His parents were nothing but supportive through his whole life and he's horrified to realise how hurt they'd be to find out they accidentally took the wrong route.
  • Unsettling Gender-Reveal: It's unsettling to him, anyway. When he realises he was misdiagnosed as trans, he's very distressed.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: He's a generally nice guy and offended on behalf of actual trans people about the struggles they go through, and he identifies as male but prefers to wear dresses.

Platinum Pygmalion (Ichabod Crane)

  • Gold Digger: He admits he wanted to marry Katrina so he would have access to her father's estate, but he states that Katrina would have also benefitted from the courtship and gold-digging can be a good thing if both parties know what they're getting into.
  • Groin Attack: Brom cut off the tip of his penis and possibly fed it to his horse.
  • Incompatible Orientation: Ichabod is sex-neutral asexual and aesthetically and possibly romantically attracted to women, which Katrina is aromantic and an Ethical Slut. Played with in that they're quite happy with their arrangement and want to get married anyway, albeit non-romantically.
  • Marriage of Convenience: Planned one, as marrying each other would let Katrina appear more respectable and Ichabod have access to her money. Both of them are honest about their intentions and are fine with the other's.
  • Platonic Life-Partners: He's ace and Katrina is aro, but they get along quite well and decide to get married purely for the benefits. The problems in the story come from the fact that Brom wasn't aware of the platonic part.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After Brom attacks him, Ichabod decides to flee town directly afterwards, letting everyone else assume he was killed.

The Gender Spectrum - Ally (Ariana), Futch (Renée), Testosterone (Bryce), Twink (Jason), High-Femme (Charlotte), Masc (Darren), and GNC (Skyler)

  • Bait-and-Switch: The story seems to be building up to the reveal everyone was getting kidnapped as some type of Homophobic Hate Crime. As it turns out, the kidnapper took the kids in order to protect them from getting hurt, as her daughter had previously been hurt in a hate crime and she wanted to prevent it from happening to other LGBT+ people.
  • Child by Rape: Bryce fears he might be one, because he never had a known dad and he worries about his mom.
  • Groin Attack: The kidnapper beat and kicked Ariana's genitals when trying to stop her rescuing her friends because she thought she was going to hurt them.
  • Homophobic Hate Crime: The story looks to be shaping up into one of these, as a group of queer friends go missing, but it turns out this is actually the kidnapper's backstory; her daughter was harmed by homophobes so she locked the group up to keep them "safe".
  • The Kindnapper: The group's kidnapper was picking up queer kids and keeping them locked in a house to protect them because her daughter was hate-crimed.
  • No True Scotsman: Renee is annoyed by other butch girls telling her she's not butch enough because she has long hair.
  • Not Like Other Girls: Darren mentions it's hard for him as a trans boy to break the mindset of internalised misogyny.
  • Not What It Looks Like: The kidnapper attacks Ariana out of the assumption she came to hurt them due to having a baseball bat with her, but actually she uses to break in so she can save her friends.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: Girly girl Ariana and tomboy Renee have been best friends for years, and Charlotte joins the group as a second girly girl.
  • Trans Tribulations: Charlotte's family moved to find a safer area for her, and Darren describes having to unpack his internalised misogyny. Both of them are also in the kidnapped group of queer teens.

The Primary Colours - Sunshine Yellow (Peppa Pig), Canary Yellow (Georgie), Chartreuse Yellow (Chloe), Lime Yellow (Alexander), True Blue (Bluey), Celestial Blue (Bingo), Royal Blue (Muffin), Baby Blue (Socks), Apple Red (Chip Chilla), Cardinal Red (Chubbly), Blood Red (Charla)

  • Adaptational Nationality: Charla was adopted from Peru, Chip from Bolivia, and Chubbly from Chile.
  • Adaptational Relationship Overhaul: In Bluey, Alfie's just a cameo role as a shop assistant; here he's mentioned to be a family friend and temporary lodger.
  • The Atoner: Stripe and Trixie feel terrible for having Muffin mutilated and spoil her to make up for it since she can't have reconstructive surgery till she's an adult.
  • Circumcision Angst: An inversion; Chip and Chubbly were slated to be circumcised and Chip initially didn't want to. He eventually gave in, but instead of being put to sleep like Chubbly, he was given local anesthesia and had to watch his procedure. Afterwards, Chip was considered old enough to handle cleaning the area himself, but he thought his penis looked gross and stopped doing it, so the area got infected and it made walking and urinating painful.
  • Crippling Castration: The orphanage removed Charla's uterus before sending her out for adoption by Americans, Muffin is dysphoric about her male genitals being removed even though she identifies as female, and it's implied Aunty Brandy's sterility was caused by forced sterilisation by a white doctor because the family are Indigenous Australian.
  • First Period Panic: Peppa quite understandably was horrified to get her first period at four years old due to a medical condition.
  • Girls With Mustaches: Peppa's suffering from precocious contrasexual puberty and grows hair on her lip, and mentions PCOS runs in the family so Granny Pig has to shave her face.
  • Go to Your Room!: Muffin is sent to her room for the first time in her life when she throws a tantrum and tells Alfie his assault wasn't so bad because he still has his penis.
  • Groin Attack: Chip and Chubbly were circumcised, and Chip didn't want to look at his penis because it was red and had stitches, so he stopped cleaning the affected area, resulting in it getting infected.
  • Intersex Tribulations: Peppa and all four of the Heeler kids are intersex. Peppa's suffering contrasexual precocious puberty, growing a moustache as a four-year-old cis girl and overhearing pushy strangers offer unwanted opinions on her treatment, while Muffin had her genitals operated on in infancy and is upset about it and Bingo feels weird about the necessary surgery she had.
  • Miscarriage of Justice: A minor form; the kids all get a month-long ban from Faceytalk because they were discussing (and in Chip's case drawing) genitals, even though the conversation was an attempt to help themselves feel safe.
  • Orphan's Ordeal: The Chilla kids were adopted from South America by Chinny and Chum Chum, who try to make them act white and had the boys circumcised. Downplayed in that it's probable at least some of their parents are alive.
  • Related Differently in the Adaptation: Chip, Chubbly, and Charla consider themselves siblings, but were all adopted from different countries.
  • Trans Tribulations: Downplayed. Muffin identifies primarily as female, as she was assigned, but she feels dysphoric about not having the penis she was born with.
  • Unrelated in the Adaptation: None of the Chillas are biologically related; the kids consider themselves a family, but Charla insists that they shouldn't consider Chinny and Chum Chum their real parents.
  • You Are Fat: Total strangers comment rudely on the Pig family members' weights. Peppa's, Mummy's, and Granny's weights are affected by PCOS, but she points out that Daddy Pig is fat too, and either way, it's no one else's business.

Kintsugi (Nice Lapis) and Sometsuke (Mean Lapis)

  • My God, What Have I Done?: They both feel bad for bullying Lapis after finding out Jasper abused her and got her pregnant, along with how she was treated by the public.
  • Peer-Pressured Bully: Nice Lapis only went along with Mean Lapis' bullying of Crystal Gem Lapis because she feared her sister would stop protecting her if she didn't.
  • Percussive Therapy: The twins took out their frustrations over their mom's death and having to move in with Peridot and Lapis by going out to destroy abandoned buildings.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Mean Lapis is starting to become nicer to CG Lapis after discovering her abuse and pregnancy, as well as Malachite's death.
