Bloom's adoptive parents. They're very caring, very loving for their daughter Bloom and wish her the best. Mike is a firefighter and Vanessa owns a flower shop.

- Heroic Fire Rescue: Mike's a fireman. This is also how he found Bloom in the first place.
- Limited Wardrobe: Their civilian outfits are always the same.
- Muggles: Perfectly normal humans.
- Muggle Foster Parents: Mike saved Bloom from a fire and adopted her.
- Open-Minded Parent: They take the revelation of magic pretty well all things considered.
Mitzi is Bloom's rival on the Earth.
- Aloof Big Brother: She shows no concern for the well-being of her younger sister Macy.
- Alpha Bitch: She lauds her money and scooter over Bloom and her bike.
- Attempted Homewrecker: In season 4, Mitzi falls in love with Brandon and repeatedly tries to seduce him despite the fact that he's in a committed relationship with Stella.
- Brought Down to Normal: Was turned into a fairy, but lost her powers.
- Cleavage Window: She wears a green tank top with a single line being yellow in color with small cut-out sections going down the center. Covered in Season 5.
- Cool Shades: In her dark fairy form, her glasses have turned a dark magenta color.
- Dark Is Evil: As a fairy.
- Deal with the Devil: She agreed to work for the Wizards of the Black Circle in exchange for fairy powers.
- De-power: Lost her powers in the same episode she got them.
- Evil Is Cool: In-universe, she is a fan of the Trix. She even lets them harass her sister.

- Girlish Pigtails: As a fairy.
- Girl Posse: Leads one. They became fairies with her.
- Goth: Not typically, but she dressed up as a goth supermodel from the future in the Halloween episode and her fairy form is gothic in nature.
- Green-Eyed Monster / Hopeless Suitor: In Season 4 she fell in love with Brandon and becomes very jealous of Stella when she sees that Brandon is always with her.
- It's All About Me: She only cares about what she can get.
- Jerkass: When not showing off her rich toys, she's rude to anyone not in her posse.
- Lack of Empathy: Especially after becoming a fairy.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: Remembers nothing about her time as a fairy.
- Muggle: She's a normal human, except for when she was given dark fairy powers. She lost them quickly though.
- Rescue Romance: Subverted. She falls in love with Brandon after he saves her from a fairy pet that was corrupted by the Wizards of the Black Circle. Unfortunately for her, Brandon doesn't feel the same way and is already in a relationship with Stella.
- Rich Bitch: She doesn't hesitate to make fun of Bloom lacking some of Mitzi's more expensive luxuries.
- Rooting for the Empire: She wants the Trix to beat the Winx because of her personal enmity with them.

- Strong Family Resemblance: To her sister, but only in appearance.
- Took a Level in Badass: When she becomes a dark fairy by the Fairy Hunters. Subverted when she lost her power.
- Took a Level in Jerkass: She attacked other people indiscriminately when she became a dark fairy. She also roots for the Trix when they fight the Winx, even after they attacked her sister.
Roxy's father, and owner of the Frutti Music Bar.
- Accidental Misnaming: Does this with the Specialists when he hires them at the Fruitti Music Bar. He referred to Sky as Smile, Brandon as Brandy, Helia as Tobias, Riven as Rivet, and Nabu as Booboo. Hilariously, when Timmy gives him a fake name (Jimmy), Klaus calls him Timmy anyway.
- Dub Name Change: Is called Rick in the Atlas Oceanic dub.
- Interspecies Romance: With Morgana, the queen of Earth fairies.
Macy is Mitzi's little sister, introduced in the first episode of season five.

Earth fairies
Morgana is the queen of fairies trapped in the White Circle. First takes revenge on humanity once released but turned good. She is Roxy's mother.
- Abdicate the Throne: At the end of Season 4, she retires and lets Nebula take her place.
- Face–Heel Turn: She was once a good queen, but grew bitter towards humanity during her imprisonment.
- The Fair Folk: When angered, Earth Fairies act like The Fair Folk of legends and she's their queen.
- Fallen Hero: Initially, she was tired of living as the Queen of the Fairies and went to live in the world of the humans, where she found that there exists people who can be special without even needing to use magic. But, after having lost her family and sealed in her own kingdom, when she is finally free became outraged with the fact that when Fairies roamed the Earth humans revered them, and after the Evil Wizards trapped them, they were all but forgotten and left in children's stories.
- Heel–Face Turn: After Bloom defeats Nebula, she agrees to put her revenge against humanity to the side for Roxy's sake.
- Humans Are the Real Monsters: Her motivation to get revenge on humanity is that they act worse than monsters, witches etc.
- Interspecies Romance: With Klaus who is a human.
- Luke, I Am Your Father: She's revealed to be Roxy's mother.
- Missing Mom: It turns out she is Roxy's missing mother.
- Mysterious Parent: Doesn't reveal her parentage until well after Roxy met her.
- Nonstandard Character Design: Her face is different from many other female characters as her face is shaped more long.
- Passing the Torch: At the end of season 4, Morgana declares Nebula Queen of the Earth Fairies.
- Revenge Before Reason: She's willing to do almost anything to get revenge on the Wizards of the Black Circle and humanity. She won't hurt Roxy though.
Nebula is one of the fairies trapped in the White Circle, but freed by the Winx. She used to be the Major Fairy of Peace, then became the Major Fairy of War after she was captured by the Wizards of the Black Circle.
- Demonic Possession: She possessed Roxy through the white circle in the episode named after her and goes out to take down the fairy hunters herself with Roxy as her vessel.
- Disc-One Final Boss: For Season 4.
- The Dragon: To Morgana.
- Good Costume Switch: Slightly. When she returned in Season 6, her wings gained sparkles to show her change in demeanor.
- The Fair Folk: Earth Fairies tend to act like that when enraged. And she's permanently furious.
- Fashionable Asymmetry: Her fairy form is uneven around the shoulders.
- Heel–Face Revolving Door: She's bad, good, bad, and permanently good.
- Mind over Matter: Very skilled at telekinesis.
- Redemption Equals Death: Averted. After the heated final battle and the Wizards defeated and frozen solid, she saw the error in her vengeance and wanted to stay in the Omega Dimension as a way to punish herself, telling Bloom that she had become alike to the Wizards. But Bloom tell that there was still light in her, she returned with the Winx.
- Revenge Before Reason: Like Morgana, she really wants to get back at the Wizards of the Black Circle and humanity, and even Morgana can barely restrain her.
- Shock and Awe: Uses a couple electric based attacks.
- The Starscream: Her vendetta against the Wizards of the Black Circle leads her to overthrow Morgana as the Queen of the Fairies.
- Took a Level in Kindness: She is now a lot more compassionate, kind, caring and friendlier, showing a warmer side to her.
- Vocal Dissonance: In RAI English, she has a rather deep voice concerning her appearance. Averted in the Atlas Oceanic dub, which gives her a young lady's voice.
Diana is a powerful fairy who resides in the Amazon Rain Forest and rules over it. She is the Major Fairy of Nature.
- Amazon Brigade: The Amazon Fairies, Warrior Fairy and followers of Diana.
- The Beastmaster She can control animals. It was also seen that she can mutate them.
- The Empath: Just like the other Amazon Fairies and Flora, she is interconnected with nature. Whenever it is in pain, she is too.
- Green Thumb: She has power over plants and other forces of nature.
- Heel–Face Turn: She kidnapped the Specialists (except Nabu), causing the Winx to go to her kingdom to save the specialists using their new Sophix powers. Finally the Winx save The Source of the Forest's Magic which controls Diana's powers and convince her and the Amazon fairies to stop vengeance against humans. Diana then tries to convince Morgana that the humans are not all bad.
- Nature Hero: Since she is the major fairy of nature, she is a very powerful fairy that even Flora struggled with her immense magic powers that including:
- Religious and Mythological Theme Naming: Diana's name comes from the Roman goddess Diana, which means Divine. She is the Goddess of the Hunt and of the Moon, who was associated with wild animals and wildlands, hence the Winx Club Diana's power.
- Stripperific: Honestly, look at her profile picture. There's a lot of fanservice.
Aurora is the Major Fairy of the North.
- An Ice Person: Aurora possesses the power of ice. She is shown to have the ability to turn herself into snow to teleport. She can also use her "Blizzard" to create powerful blizzards and to freeze anything in her path. She also has the power to freeze anything into ice, which she manifested to stop Nebula from destroying her tower and Gardenia.
- In the Hood: Subverted. Aurora is never seen with the hood down, but her face is always visible.
- Undying Loyalty: She is extremely loyal to Morgana, standing up to Nebula's over-commanding tone when Morgana would not.
Sibylla the Major Fairy of Justice.
- Above Good and Evil: She is bound to her role of Fairy of Justice to remain neutral since she does not have the right to take sides between Good and Evil and between friend and enemy, and neither does she have the right to tell anyone which way to follow, even when she knows that people are taking the wrong choice.
- Reasonable Authority Figure: As the Fairy of Justice, whoever is under her protection is under protection from others.
- Token Good Teammate: Out of all the Major Earth Fairies Sibylla is the kindest and most peaceful and the Winx Club came to her in respect and even bowed to her.
Eldora is a Fairy Godmother who lives in Gardenia.
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: She is a wise and powerful fairy, but odd, funny and clumsy at the same time.
- Expy: She has a several similarities with Faragonda, especially their physical appearance and hair.
- Green Thumb: She knows powerful magic spells, which are related to floral magic.
- Fairy Godmother: Of Selina. She is the only known Fairy Godmother to appear in the series.
- Pink Means Feminine: Mostly of her outfit, included the fiary form, are full-pink.
- The Mentor: To Selina. She taught her simple spells and trained her with good morals. Unfortunately Selina is corrupted by Acheron.
