Victims of the hunt

    In General
The twelve conservative "deplorables" chosen (kidnapped) by the liberals to be hunted.
  • Bound and Gagged: Well the second part when they woke up with gags strapped and locked to their mouths.
  • No Name Given: Most of them were never referred to by their real names, not even the credits properly named them. Instead, the victims go by nicknames on what they wore, how they die, and other reasons (For specific examples, see Line-of-Sight Alias and Meaningful Name on individual character pages)
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: By the half-hour mark, everyone except Crystal, Don, and Gary became fatalities of the hunt. Special mention goes to Bandana Man, who isn't even on this characters page because he pulled a Leeroy Jenkins and got immediately gunned down without screen time, making him the third victim of the Hunt.

    Crystal

Crystal

Played By: Betty Gilpin

A war veteran who is trapped in the titular Hunt and the protagonist of the movie, the true one not the decoys introduced in the first 20 minutes. She survives the entire Hunt.

  • The Ace: She is very competent in strategic combat skills, can take multiple hits from enemies such as punches and kicks while standing her ground and thinks very quickly on her feet such as finding and grabbing a cloth in defense against an unpredictable knife attack.
  • Action Hero: She fights her way through the better-armed liberals in order to stop them once and for all.
  • Alliterative Name: Crystal's last name is Creasey, making it and her first name beginning with "C".
  • Badass Bookworm: She is a military veteran, the heroine of the film, and is very literate enough to get the point of Animal Farm.
  • Berserk Button: Being called a hick seems to get under her skin quite a bit. When Liberty calls her one, Crystal doesn't lose her composure but it noticeably irritates her. Needless to say, Liberty doesn't stay alive for much longer.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Wears a blue long-sleeved t-shirt and the most determined to end the Hunt.
  • Cold Ham: Despite maintaining a stoic disposition, some of her actions and quips come off as almost comical.
Crystal: Cigarettes in Arkansas only cost six bucks. YOU FUCKED UP, BITCH!!
[Later on...]
Don: Jesus...(Upon finding Gary's knifed and sprawled up body in Fauxnovoy's trunk)
Crystal: Nope, that's Gary.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Played with. She's an ex-solider and her attitude hints that she saw some things while serving, however The troubled backstory Athena 'thinks' she has actually belonged to a different Crystal.
  • Eagle-Eye Detection: Crystal's surprisingly good at this. The most notable example is when she figures out that the gas station attendants are in on the hunt after one charges her too much for a pack of smokes.
  • Emotionless Girl: She doesn't display any strong emotions other than anger and short bursts of hamminess.
  • Final Girl: Not only is she the Sole Survivor, the fact that she couldn't give a damn about politics marks her as morally superior to the political caricatures on both sides around her.
  • Nice to the Waiter: As she returns home on Athena's private plane, she invites a flight attendant to eat with her.
  • Only Sane Woman: She understandably hates her liberal captors and kills them one by one, but she shows disgust with Gary's bigoted views as well. When the latter gets killed, she shows no sympathy for him. She is the only apolitical character in the whole movie (or possibly, moderate).
  • One-Steve Limit: Averted. There's another Crystal Creasey in her hometown, even sharing similar-sounding middle names (May for the protagonist and Mae for the other), which is why the hunters' mistook her for Crystal Mae Creasey and thus wrongfully kidnapped her.
  • Only the Leads Get a Happy Ending: She's the only victim of the hunt to survive.
  • One-Woman Army: Singlehandedly killed all the hunters (except Crisis Mike) when the rest of the victims couldn't take down one even though they had weapons and were generally more competent with fired arms than them.
  • Southern Belle: She's beautiful, has a keen morality, and the accent but her competence in using brains and brawn for combat rather than coquettishness defies the traditionally feminine trope. Also, she rarely smiles, looking traumatized, stoic or even angry throughout the hunt. However, the final scene shows that she is quite gracious and polite, sharing caviar and champagne with the flight attendant.
  • Technician vs. Performer: In terms of combat-style, she's the Technician to Athena's Performer for the final showdown. Crystal has years of military training from her time serving in Afghanistan which gives her an edge in physical prowess contrasting Athena who taught herself all types of combat for eight months and makes good use of her surrounding environment to her advantage.

    Don

Don

Played By: Wayne Duvall

A right-wing conspiracy theorist who gets his news from Sean Hannity. He's quite a pleasant person if you ignore his biased political beliefs. After Athena makes Crystal believe he is one of the hunters, Crystal shoots him dead, making him the eleventh and final victim of the Hunt if Athena was lying.

  • Ambiguous Situation: Was he really The Mole, or was Athena claiming he was to trick Crystal? It's never confirmed, although Don's reactions strongly imply that he was innocent and Athena was setting him up.
  • Deuteragonist: By virtue of being the only other hunt victim left and spending time with Crystal the longest, Don is considered this but that doesn't exempt him from his demise.
  • Nice Guy: Although he trusts people too much and would've come off as Too Dumb to Live if it weren't for Crystal's fast thinking to deduce which people are aiding the leftist militia.
  • Save the Villain: He begged Crystal not to finish off Liberty, even though Liberty was already impaled with an arrow to her intestines and was fatally wounded anyways.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After Crystal ran over Fauxnvoy, Don opted for the sensible option of getting the hell out of Croatia, not wanting anything to do with the hunt anymore, as they now have a gas-up car and bribe money to do so but Crystal convince him to stay so she can enact vengence on the hunters.
  • Token Good Teammate: Compared to many of the other hunt victims, especially Gary, he's at least affable towards Crystal and has some morals (like objecting to unnecessary violence) to stand by. That said, he's not gonna be receiving any Nice Guy award due to his bigotry and off-colour humour.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: Freaks out twice against Crystal and asked what's wrong with her when she ran over the American ambassador's head (Though it's mitigated by the fact Gary's dead body was found in the trunk of his car) and point-blank shot Liberty in cold blood.
  • Wouldn't Hit a Girl: He thinks Liberty should be spared after all her male colleagues get slaughtered by Crystal. Crystal and Liberty (both female) think that's a horribly biased idea. With Crystal delivering a fatal headshot to Liberty's head, Don freaks out.

    Gary

Gary

Played By: Ethan Suplee

An anti-immigrant zealot and Grade-A asshole who is trapped in the titular Hunt. He is stabbed through the forehead with a knife offscreen, making him the tenth victim of the Hunt.

  • Asshole Victim: Due to his bigotry, it's hard to feel any sympathy when he is found dead in the trunk. Crystal shows no sympathy for him when she finds him dead; she avenges him for self-preservation not because she cared about him.
  • Fat Bastard: His main trait, being an overweight right-wing asshole.
  • Killed Offscreen: After he and Crystal got separated at the camp.
  • The Load: He slows down Crystal more than he helps her.
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed: A lot of his characterization is a parody of Alex Jones: he's a husky, outspoken broadcaster who spouts xenophobic conspiracy theories.
  • Pre-Mortem One-Liner: Enraged over being duped by Crisis Mike, he proceeded to tackle him down, take a grenade from his backpack, then exclaim "Sayonara, Sugar-Tits!" right before shoving said grenade down his pants.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: He's bigoted and conspiratorial-minded, but in this case the conspiracy was true and one of the people he accused of being an actor really was.
  • Straw Character: A stereotypical "deplorable" conservative who's bigoted against immigrants and foreigners while endorsing conspiracy theories of all sorts.
  • Would Hurt a Child: No qualms in pulling the trigger on a baby if they were an immigrant.

    Trucker

"Trucker"

Played By: Justin Hartley

One of the twelve victims of the titular Hunt, also known as "Big Game" Shane. He was the false leading man then the second decoy protagonist. He steps on a landmine, and is blown up, making him the fourth victim of the Hunt.

  • Asshole Victim: When it is later revealed that he hunted rare animals, to the extent that he is shown standing on the body of a dead rhinoceros, it becomes harder to feel sympathy for him.
  • Dead Star Walking: He dies in the first few minutes of the hunt.
  • Decoy Protagonist: He's handsome, capable and heroic-seeming, he seems a shoo-in for the male lead, especially since he gets a moment of bonding with the other Decoy Protagonist, Yoga Pants. Then she gets shot and he steps on a landmine.
  • Face Death with Dignity: When he realizes he's about to die, his last expression is one of resigned annoyance rather than fear.
  • Hunting Is Evil: He's revealed to be a hunter of exotic, endangered animals as shown being pictured beside a dead rhino. The Hunters select him for it as a result.

    Yoga Pants

"Yoga Pants"

Played By: Emma Roberts

One of the twelve victims of the titular Hunt. Yoga Pants was the first decoy protagonist and the first to be unceremoniously killed once the Hunt officially began, making her the second victim of the Hunt after Randy, who was killed before it even began.

  • Blonde Republican Sex Kitten: She's blonde and attractive, and the only clue as to why she was included in the hunt is a photograph of her standing outside the Capitol building beside a man who looks like a politician, implying that she was some sort of conservative political aide, pundit or lobbyist.
  • Boom, Headshot!: How she dies, also doubling as Your Head A-Splode.
  • Dead Star Walking: Much like Trucker, she's the first of the characters to die and one of the more recognizable names in the film.
  • Decoy Protagonist: She's the most blatantly protagonist-like character among the group in the opening, not only being the first one we're introduced to but also set up with an immediate character flaw (her squeamishness about using a gun in a life-or-death situation). She's killed off within the first few minutes.
  • Kill the Cutie: She's a young, attractive woman who has some frightened and helpful moments, making her instantly sympathetic, but she's one of the first to die.
  • Line-of-Sight Alias: Her "name", according to the credits, derives from the fact that she indeed wears yoga pants.
  • Token Good Teammate: She appears to be the nicest of the victims, as seen when she finds the key to everyone's gags and immediately shares it with them, even letting Trucker use it before she does.
  • True Blue Femininity: She was brought to the hunt wearing an all-light-blue ensemble and is one of the girlier-looking females in the hunt.

    Staten Island

Moses / "Staten Island"

Played By: Ike Barinholtz

One of the twelve victims of the titular Hunt. Took over as the third and final decoy protagonist before we get to Crystal. He inhales toxic gas and is shot in the chest by Pop, making him the eighth victim of The Hunt.

  • Asshole Victim: In the eyes of the left-wing hunters. The photos at the end show that he was one of the tiki torch-waving Neo-Nazis at the deadly Charlottesville rallies.
  • Deadpan Snarker: He can be very sarcastic even in times of an emergency.
  • Decoy Protagonist: The third one after Yoga Pants and Trucker. And like the two, he was quickly dispatched alongside Big Red and Vanilla Nice before we finally get to our actual protagonist Crystal.
  • Gun Nut: He owns seven guns for protection, claiming that he needs all seven for this.

    Vanilla Nice

"Vanilla Nice"

Played By: Sturgill Simpson

One of the victims of the titular Hunt. He inhales toxic gas and is struck in the head with the butt of a shotgun, making him the ninth victim of the Hunt.

    Target

Boxer / "Target"

Played By: Chris Berry

One of the twelve victims of the titular Hunt. He is shot several times with arrows, and is blown up by a grenade, making him the sixth victim of the Hunt.

  • Annoying Arrows: Downplayed. Getting struck by an arrow mortally wounds, him, but it takes two more and a grenade to actually put him down.
  • Last Stand: He dies firing his gun at the Hunters after being fatally wounded by an arrow, buying time for Staten Island, Big Red, and Vanilla Nice to escape.
  • Meaningful Name: His death involves being riddled with arrows by the hunters and what does archery usually aim for before shooting? Targets.

    Big Red

Molly / "Big Red"

Played By: Kate Nowlin

One of the victims of the titular Hunt. She eats a poisoned donut, and is killed by the poison, making her the seventh victim of The Hunt.

    Dead Sexy

Caroline / "Dead Sexy"

Played By: Sylvia Grace Crim

One of the twelve victims of the hunt. She falls into a punji pit, is knocked back into it by a landmine explosion, gets her legs blown off, and finally shoots herself in the head, making her the fifth victim of The Hunt.

  • Cruel and Unusual Death: She has the slowest, most painful, and gruesome death out of all of the victims combined.
  • Defiant to the End: Before shooting herself, she angrily calls Staten Island a "snowflake" for being unable to give her a Mercy Kill.
  • Line-of-Sight Alias: She was credited as "Dead Sexy" because of her t-shirt sporting the same words.
  • Rasputinian Death: She falls into a pit of spikes, impaling her stomach and leg, gets pulled out only to step on a mine and be blown in two, landing in the same pit again and begs Staten Island to shoot her before grabbing his gun and finishing it herself. Considering how well she took it and had gone out spectacularly, it doubles as a Dying Moment of Awesome.
  • Small Girl, Big Gun: She's one of the shortest female victims and a photo of her found in Athena's home has her posing in front of an American flag with a large assault rifle.

    Randy

Randy

Played By: Jason Kirkpatrick

A victim of the Hunt who wakes up while being transported to the forest and is killed on the spot, making him the first victim of The Hunt.

  • Eye Scream: Athena kills Randy by driving her stiletto heel through his eye and gouging it out so he bleeds to death.
  • Grievous Bottley Harm: After being stabbed in the throat, Randy grabs the champagne bottle Flight Attendant Kelly dropped and hits Ted in the head with it. He then smashes the bottle to try and eviscerate the hunters before Athena shows up.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: He is the first victim to wake up (earlier than the hunters had anticipated) and also the first to die in the hands of the hunters.

Hunters

    In General
  • Black-and-White Insanity: They don't see a problem gunning down unarmed people because said people happen to be conservative.
  • The Killer Becomes the Killed: They dominated most of the hunt, killing ten out of their twelve intended victims, until Crystal mercilessly and effortlessly wiped out every single hunter (Minus Crisis Mike) once she knew who they were.
  • Politically Correct Villain: The hunters are very sensitive to politically incorrect language, while at the same time cheerfully killing people. Unusually, they are also very prone to slipping up and engaging in such language anyway, causing their peers to complain about it - it's like they're trying to be this trope but not being very good at it.

    Athena Stone

Athena Stone

Played By: Hilary Swank

The leader of the Hunt. She is a Hollywood producer who loses her job due to conspiracy bloggers and a bad joke. She is stabbed through the waist and bleeds to death, ending the hunt, and making her the eleventh and final hunter to die if Don wasn't on their side.

  • Accidental Kidnapping: As opposed to the intentional ones, she made the mistake of abducting the wrong Crystal Creasly. Had she kidnapped the right one, the tides would have turned in the hunters' favor as well as zero casualties on their side.
  • Big Bad: She's the one who orchestrated the entire hunt in the first place and the most competent and biggest threat amongst the hunters. No wonder Athena is worthy of being the main antagonist
  • Dark Action Girl: She can go toe-to-toe with Crystal in a fistfight.
  • Dramatically Missing the Point: She doesn't actually understand Animal Farm.
  • Hannibal Lecture: She attempts one combined with a Breaking Speech on Crystal. It fails miserably, not just because Crystal points out the Insane Troll Logic behind it but also she's got the wrong Crystal.
  • Hypocrite: She accuses the people who spread the initially false narrative about her hunting humans for sport of only believing what they want to believe, but insists that she got the right Crystal even when presented with direct evidence to the contrary.
  • Heel Realization: She has a dying one after discovering not only is Crystal not actually the right person but that she misunderstood Animal Farm. She then basically brushes it off.
  • I'm Not Doing That Again: After crashing through a glass door once proved to be extremely painful, when she and Crystal are headed towards another one, she gasps, "No more glass!" and opens the door instead.
  • Insistent Terminology: Athena hates when people call either of her second homes "manors." This didn't really help that the hunted and other right-wingers collectively called the hunt "Manorgate".
  • It's Personal: She handpicked Crystal for the hunt because she called Athena a "murdering bitch" and took pleasure in giving a draw-out "Reason You Suck" Speech about how insignificant Crystal is with her shit life and even shitter online posts. It's too bad she got the wrong Crystal so that whole personal agenda thing was rendered pointless.
  • "Just Joking" Justification: An irony in that she attempts to use this and it doesn't work.
  • Lady in Red: Incorporates a lot of reds in her outfits such as her satin pajamas on the flight and long-sleeved turtleneck in the final showdown with Crystal. This emphasizes her as the one in charge of the hunt and the deadliest of them all (Though the bar is quite low considering the hunters' general incompetence).
  • Lame Last Words: After she finds out that she had gotten the wrong Crystal for her personal agenda, ruining her entire plan, the last word before she succumbs to her wounds after their fight was “Whoops.”
  • Large Ham: She has this when she questions her motives to Paul in one flashback scene.
Athena Stone: What people believe I’m hunting human beings? WHAT FUCKING PEOPLE?!?!?!
  • Meaningful Name: According to Classical Mythology, Athena is the goddess of war, battle strategy and wisdom. True to her name, she is a fierce, formidable fighter who uses weapon improvisation and gave Crystal the hardest time. Her last name Stone reflects how she has little to no empathy for anyone but herself as shown throughout the film where she's fine with both the hunt victims and her friends dying and not understanding her bad joke can cause lots of controversy.
  • The Sociopath: Besides organizing the whole hunt, she doesn’t seem to be too broken up about Crystal killing all of her friends.
  • Strawman Political: Like the other Hunters, she is a stereotypical 'woke' liberal that viciously hates people who hold what she sees as 'deplorable' political beliefs.
  • Technician vs. Performer: In terms of combat style, she's the Performer to Crystal's Technician for the final showdown. Athena employs a lot of kicks and weapon improvisation by making use of whatever she has lying around in her manor, like a light fixture or a creme brulee torch, while Crystal focuses on more traditional but aggressive fisticuffs and defensive measures. Their combat training is also different from Athena self-training for eight months straight whereas Crystal served in Afghanistan.
  • Unreveal Angle: Until the climax, her back is always turned towards the camera so the audience never sees Athena face-to-face.

    Fauxnvoy

Oliver / "Fauxnvoy"

Played By: Macon Blair

A hunter who poses as a US Embassy convoy. He is kicked out of his car by Crystal, and run down, making him the fourth hunter to die.

  • Meaningful Name: The nickname the credits give him is "Fauxnvoy", a play on "Faux Envoy" which roughly means "Fake Ambassador". His role in the hunt is bribing the Croatian to release the remaining victims while posing as an embassy convoy.
  • Spotting the Thread: Crystal realizes he isn't who he says he is when he starts passive-aggressively Victim-Blaming the two of them.

    Crisis Mike

"Crisis Mike"

Played By: Usman Ally

A hunter who hides inside a train of refugees while posing as one himself. He is blown up by a grenade shoved down his pants by Gary, making him the third hunter to die.

    Ted the Doctor

Ted

Played By: Steve Coulter

A hunter who pretends to be a doctor while dealing with Randy. He is shot in the chest by Crystal, making him the seventh hunter to die.

  • It Works Better with Bullets: Subverted. While struggling with Crystal for the assault rifle, he pulls out the magazine and smirks thinking he's safe. However, his lack of gun knowledge proves to be his undoing as Crystal merely checks the chamber for a bullet (There was) and then shoots the now-screwed "doctor" in the chest.
  • Trust Me, I'm a Doctor: Calms Randy down by proclaiming he's this and requests he lies on the floor. Once relaxed, Ted stabs him in the neck with a pen in the hopes of killing him.

    Richard

Richard

Played By: Glenn Howerton

An asshole hunter. He has his throat slit from behind by Crystal, making him the fifth hunter to die.

    Liberty

Liberty

Played By: Teri Wyble

A hunter and self-described feminist who joins the left-wing militia to hunt down conservatives. She is shot in the head by Crystal to keep up her liberal beliefs, making her the ninth hunter to die.

  • Hoist by His Own Petard: She's stabbed by her own arrow.
  • Meaningful Name: Liberty can mean the power or scope to act as one pleases which is what she's doing by killing deplorables without consequence. Also, she's a liberalist.
  • Political Overcorrectness: She calls herself a feminist, but justifies killing both men and women who have right-wing values.
  • Villainous Valor: Credit where it's due, Liberty sticks to her feminist principles even in the face of death, stating outright that she shouldn't be spared just because she's a woman.
  • Villains Want Mercy: Downplayed. She first begs "No, No, No, No!" as Crystal moves to impale her intestines with the same arrow Liberty fired at her with a bow. But after Crystal slaughters all her male cohorts then asks Liberty if she should be spared on the account of being female, Liberty again answers, "No." BANG!

    Sergent Dale

Sergeant Dale

Played By: Steve Mokate

A hunter who served in the army. He is shot offscreen by Crystal, making him the tenth hunter to die if Don wasn't on their side.

  • The Dragon: The closest thing Athena has to one, he's the one who trained the hunters and seems to have a bit more authority over them.
  • Pipe Pain: Crystal uses a steel pipe she rips from the ceiling to pummel Captain Dale.

    Ma and Pop

Miranda ("Ma") and Julius ("Pop")

Played By: Amy Madigan (Ma) and Reed Birney (Pop)

An elderly couple, and hunters who pose as gas store owners in Arkansas. They are both shot dead after failing to trick Crystal into believing she's in Arkansas, making them the first and second hunters to die.

  • Animal Wrongs Group: They justify their killings of the three right-wingers who used their store as refuge for denying climate change because of their affinity for polar bears who have to deal with melting ice in the Arctic. Even so, Ma selected a right-winger for the hunt since he actively killed rhinos and posted pictures of himself and his trophies online.
  • Big "NO!": Ma when Pa is killed.
  • Comically Small Bribe: They keep offering $200 for Staten Island when he chooses their food store as an asylum. Staten stresses that he has no interest in their money and only wants to stay alive.
  • Happily Married: Even if they disagree on the wife's extreme political correctness.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Crystal kills them with their own Mossberg having realized they're hunters by asking them how much for a pack of cigarettes, and they ask for $11 but Crystal claims in Arkansas it'd only be $6.
  • Hollywood Atheist: Pop states he doesn't believe in Hell or God.
  • Hypocrite: They chastise Staten Island for owning 7 firearms while carrying guns themselves.
  • I Have a Family: They claim to have children and grandchildren while taken hostage.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Ma thinks that the hunters who are hunting Staten Island and his two Fire-Forged Friends are just exercising the Second Amendment as Staten Island had preached to her.
  • It's Personal: Pop had an online argument with Vanilla Nice (One of the three right-wingers who used his store as a sanctuary) about political and religious issues before.
  • Outlaw Couple: They bond as husband-and-wife over blaming and killing right-wingers, but bicker amongst themselves over even the tiniest issues like the appropriate terminology for ethnic groups and which news media outlet is the most biased.
  • Political Overcorrectness: They are very socially liberal, are critical of gun rights, obsessed with people believing that Global Warming is real, consistently watch news that is in favor of promoting their views and argue about if "Black people" is offensive and thus "African-Americans" should be used against.
  • Pre-Mortem One-Liner: Pa gives one to Vanilla Nice who got into a heated online argument with him about global warming before the hunt.
Pa: Climate change is real...[Knocks him out for good with his gun-butt]
  • Spit Take: Pa violently spat out the soda he was drinking when Ma exclaims it's poison, though not because she had tampered it like with the various foods around the store but because it contains 43 grams of sugar alone.
  • Tampering with Food and Drink: They laced their store's foods with toxic substances for the victims to eat which Big Red soon found out as she eats a powdered donut only to foam at the mouth (Must have been potassium cyanide due to its similarity to powdered sugar). This is subverted in the case of drinks when Pa spits out the soda upon Ma exclaiming it's poison but then clarifying in the sense of having too much sugar and was looking out for his well-being.
  • Undignified Death: Ma dies begging and screaming for her life in a corner. Sounding, ironically, like a squealing pig right before 'Snowball' shoots her in the face.
  • White Guilt: They call white people (themselves) the worst.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: They pretended to be innocent bystanders who had no idea about the hunt when Staten Island plus two more infiltrated their store. It turns out they're hunters (and the more successful ones to boot).

    Peter & Martin

Peter and Martin

Played By: Vince Pisani (Peter) and Dean West (Martin)

Tow hunters who are identical in some ways. Martin has his head blown off by Crystal, and Peter is shot by Crystal while trying to escape, making them the sixth and eighth hunters to die respectively.

  • Boom, Headshot!: Martin met his end this way with a surprise attack by Crystal.
  • Those Two Guys: Both of them don't have much characterization or significance beyond being affiliated with the hunters, thus prone to Political Overcorrectness, as well as their unmemorable, uninspiring deaths.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Although introduce in the opening, they don't get focus on until the bunker scene nearly two-thirds into the movie. And even so, they never got out of the bunker alive thanks to Crystal "One-Woman Army" Creasey.

Others
    Flight Attendant Kelly

Kelly

Played By: Hannah Alline

A flight attendant who appears at the beginning and end of the film.

  • Bookends: She was asked if she had ever eaten caviar before. Once by Richard who rubbed it in her face of how she'll never afford such a luxury like him and again by Crystal who offered her some to enjoy.
  • Innocent Bystander: She had the misfortune of witnessing the gruesome, eye-popping murder of Randy and was visibly shaken afterward but could do nothing about it due to being an unknowing accessory to murder (Ted did ask her for towels and her pen in an attempt to kill Randy).
  • Pet the Dog: After dealing with the hunters' condescending attitudes and the following Randy incident, it's needless to say she's glad all those elitists are gone and share caviar with Crystal.

    Mae (Spoilers

Mae

The intended Crystal Creasey who badmouthed Athena on social media as Justice4Yall without knowing much about her. Fortunately (for her), she was never kidnapped and placed on the hunt at all due to a case of Mistaken Identity on the hunters' part.

  • Dark and Troubled Past: There isn't much going on in her life as it spirals down the drain. She dropped out of school, her dad got shot for running an illegal meth lab, her mom died of a drug overdose and she spends the rest of her days getting high and shit-posting on social media.
  • Flipping the Bird: She had provided a picture of middle-fingering the protagonist on her social media account.
  • The Ghost: We never get to find out who she really is as all details regarding her are second-handed accounts from Athena. It also implied she never posted pictures of herself online which is why the post having her Flipping the Bird offscreen at the protagonist is what the hunters used to track down the wrong Crystal.
  • One-Steve Limit: Averted. Not only does she share the same first and last names with the protagonist, but both have similar sounding middle names ("Mae" and "May").
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Never appears onscreen but her actions lead to her being personally chosen by Athena for the hunt. In addition to sharing similar-sounding names, she had provided a picture of middle-fingering the protagonist on her social media account. Kickstarting a series of events that lead to protagonist Crystal's wrongful abduction and the deaths of all the hunters.
