• Aerith and Bob: Almost all of the dolls have bizarre names that appropriately fit their style and personality. Some of the Tweens dolls, on the other hand, have normal first names (Cherry B.B. of the Series 1 Tweens; all of the Tweens starting from Series 2).
• Enfant Terrible:
  • Bhaddie, based on the Wicked Witch of the West. Her lil sister has jail stripes as her color change.
  • Countess is scary and naughty, but she’s not evil, just mischievous.
• No Celebrities Were Harmed: There are doll parodies of Elvis Presley, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Beyoncé, Serena Williams, Will Smith, and Marilyn Monroe, among others.
• Punny Name:
  • Ice Ice B.B. and her family (Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby”).

Neonlicous

Voiced by: Sabrina Fest

• Ambiguously Brown: Unlike her the rest of the girls in her group who are explicitly black, her race is unknown.
• Cute Clumsy Girl: Most of the show's physical gags involve her.
• Fun Personified: She's a free spirit who prefers not to take herself too seriously and often cracks jokes with her friends.
• Introverted Cat Person: Averted, she carries Neon Kitty everywhere but is quite outgoing.
• Stage Fright: She gets stage fright easily, and breaks the “no pets” rule because she feels like she need Neon Kitty there to give her comfort and confidence.
• True Companions: with Lady Diva, Royal Bee, and Swag.
• Vibrant Orange: She has orange hair.

Swag

• Braids of Action: She wears her hair and braids, and likes to take action.
• Cant Take Critism: She is one of the most smooth and cool of the BBS, but takes critique hard, though in a less angry and more self-loathing way.
• Generic Graffiti: All of her work.
• Gratuitous Rap: Mainly in earlier episodes, where it seemed to be her only trait.
• Starving Artist: Averted: She's very successful in her music and art.

• Who Names Their Kid "Dude"?: Make sure search her name on internet with keyword "LOL" or "doll"! Cause "Swag" also is the name of an Asian porn website...

• Character Focus: In "Candylicous vs Alt Grrrl" and "Queen's Gala To Go".
• Feminine Women Can Cook: She cooks and bakes.
• Opposites Attract: At first due to Alt Grrrl's taunting, they don't get along, but they end up finding common ground in cooking. Doesn’t mean they both don’t still grate on each other from time to time.
• Pink Means Feminine
• Shout-Out: Her earrings are from another MGA brand, Num Noms.
• Sixth Ranger: In a way, she is a consistent character along with the main 4 and even gets upgraded to the main titles in Season 2.

• Happy Dance: During his first appearance after he buys the Mall of Surprises.
• Jack of All Trades: Implied, then played with, as the Season 2 3-part premiere reveals that while he may be good at a lot of things, he also has a habit of having projects go out of control and then abandoning them when he gets overwhelmed.
• The One Guy: The second guy.
• Successful Sibling Syndrome: Despite being successful, Queen Bee seems to have this with him. He actually feels the same about her, and reveals that his habit of buying up and starting businesses is out of a desire to impress her and live up to her standards.

• Actually Not a Vampire: Despite her sister's heavy vampire influence.

• Genki Girl: Despite her ghoulish look, she is quite high energy.
• Pepper Sneeze: A prank she and her sister pull.

• One-Shot Character: She appeared at the end of one episode and then never again, presumably because her doll was a yearly holiday doll.

Fly Gurl

Voiced by: Molly Elizabeth Ring

• Cool Plane: The 'LOL Surprise Remix 4 in 1 Plane'. Ya know, from the toy line.
• No Celebrities Were Harmed: Parody of Britney Spears (specifically in the Toxic music video).
• Who Is Driving?: Technically she has autopilot, but she spends a lot of time talking with passengers instead of flying her plane.

Sunset

Voiced by: Queen Noveen

• One-Shot Character: Averted, though it was assumed she'd stop appearing after her debut episode because she was traveling with City Babe (and her line didn't need any more promotion), she appeared again vlogging from The Queen's Gala several episodes later.
• Valley Girl: She's described as a "beach queen" and has the accent and vocabulary too.

City Babe

Voiced by: Alex Cazares

• Camera Fiend: She's known for her photography.
• City Mouse: Her name is CITY Babe so...
• Photographic Memory: Says she has one before accurately describing noticing Sunset in a gift shop 8 months prior.
