    Boltechs

Torque Twister G-Wrench (Adjust Wrench)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/43_75.png
Voiced by: Megumi Han

  • Catchphrase: "Let's socket to 'em!"
  • Discard and Draw: Zigzagged; she goes from a melee fighter (Torque Twister) to a ranged gunner (Maximum G) back to a melee fighter (UltraMax).
  • Fanservice Pack: Her outfit in Maximum G exposes all of her cleavage and much of her back. Zigzagged with UltraMax, which covers up more but has a Cleavage Window to compensate.
  • Hot-Blooded: Wrench is incredibly passionate about fighting.
  • Mascot: Even before becoming the protagonist of the anime, G-Wrench was considered the GGG brand's signature character.
  • Mid-Season Upgrade: She is the only character to receive two Style Changes, going from Torque Twister to G-Wrench Maximum G to UltraMax G-Wrench. The game treated UltraMax G-Wrench as a separate character.
  • Wrench Wench: As one might expect, G-Wrench uses a giant wrench as her primary weapon. It changes to a more conventional gun in Maximum G, and sword in UltraMax.

Mona Chrome (Chrome Monochrome)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/678.png
Voiced by: Ai Kayano

  • Brainwashed and Crazy: She's hit with this twice, Spanner's first attempt at assuming control of her being a test run for her longer-lasting second attempt.
  • Brought Down to Badass: She drops a few power levels after her first appearance, as well as her robotic demeanor giving way to a more childlike personality, but she is still among the strongest members of Boltechs. This is especially noticeable when she is returned to her original power level and is able to single-handedly hold off a makeshift G-Wrench / Piers / Professor Pi / Snips team.
  • Malaproper: Early on, Mona mangles a few words, with "disappoint my friends" becoming "dizzy-point my fwends" as an example.
  • Ridiculously Human Robot: The only things that give her away as an artificial being prior to The Reveal are the fact that she was summoned from a data chip and her robotic manner of speaking in her first appearance.

Sweepheart Cleanette (Keppeki Sweeper Cleaner)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/35_3.png
Voiced by: M·A·O

  • Blow You Away: Her gadget is a hand vacuum that fires blasts of wind.
  • The Ditz: She is accused of being clumsy, especially after she accidentally blasts G-Wrench in the back costing them a match.
  • It Only Works Once: She manages to successfully sap the energy from Zero's gadget during Boltechs' second battle against Clockwork Paradox. The next time they fight, Zero has already come up with countermeasures.
  • Mid-Season Upgrade: She performs the first Style Change in the series, changing into Dust Devil Cleanette only seven episodes in.
  • Neat Freak: She's less than pleased with Boltechs constantly leaving crumbs everywhere, and complains to herself when she sees Mona putting her shoes on the seat of a train.

Autovac Mattie (Autocleaner Machi)

Voiced by: Natsumi Murakami

Kara Fixx (Carabiner Fixx)

    Q.E.D.

Professor Pi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/60_7.png
Voiced by: Shizuka Itō

  • Badass Bookworm: She is passionate about books and research but can also hold her own in a fight.
  • Curtains Match the Window: Her hair and eyes are the same shade of blue.
  • For Science!: She has a very unhealthy obsession with Mona's gadget and spends two separate episodes interrogating Amy for knowledge on the Lost Gear. When Snips confronts her about effectively kidnapping Mona, she states that "science comes before everything".
  • Multi-Armed and Dangerous: Her gadget gives her extra mechanical appendages.
  • Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: She uses her gadget to unleash a barrage of punches against G-Wrench.
  • Scary Shiny Glasses: Her glasses shine when she claims the final blow on G-Wrench in their Episode 10 fight.

Nailgunner Piers (Piers Nailgun)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/684.png
Voiced by: Haruka Tomatsu

  • Facial Markings: She has a triangle marking on her right cheek.
  • Friendly Rivalry: She and G-Wrench treat each other as rivals, to the extent that Piers explicitly calls out G-Wrench during an interview regarding their next battle. That being said, G-Wrench's friends claim that they've been friends since childhood and Piers is quick to help out G-Wrench when things go sour. Snips even calls her out for smiling after a Boltechs win.
  • Hot-Blooded: Her fiery personality is a trait shared with G-Wrench.
  • Leeroy Jenkins: She's more than willing to discard Professor Pi's plan in favor of an all-out assault on G-Wrench.
  • Nail 'Em: As her subtitle implies, her primary weapon is best described as a nail machinegun.
  • Violation of Common Sense: Her reaction to Mona Chrome (who is with Q.E.D. via dubious methods) accidentally summoning Cathy and the GGGSF is not to calmly explain, but to take Mona under her arm and run for her life.

Bisector Snips (Snip Twice)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/685_2.png
Voiced by: Yuka Iguchi

  • Burning with Anger: She goes full-on Super Saiyan after Piers tries to run from the GGGSF.
  • Gratuitous English: She yells "Cut!" in English twice: once when Professor Pi discusses experimenting on Mona's gadget, and again when she Dope Slaps Piers for messing with Mona.
  • Only Sane Man: She serves as a middle ground between the eccentric Professor Pi and the hot-blooded Piers.
  • Shear Menace: She dual-wields two halves of a giant pair of scissors.
  • Sword Beam: Her Dual-Blade Air Slash fires waves of energy from her blades.

Deep Cover Chip (Shinbou no Realist Vibra)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/686.png

Super Surveiler Multieye (Choukan Denkan Shikan Multieye)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/285_13.png
Voiced by: Anzu Haruno

  • Death Glare: Her default expression is an intense glare that utterly freaks out her teammates.
  • Energy Weapon: Her cameras can fire laser beams at opponents.
  • Terse Talker: Most of her dialogue consists of "Jiiiiiii~", the Japanese onomatopoeia for staring.

    Clockwork Paradox

Clockwork Watcher Zero (Reikokuna Watcher Ryuzu)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/324_2.png
Voiced by: Yuri Yamaoka

  • Eyepatch of Power: Zero wears an eyepatch over her right eye.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: Double Subverted. She seemingly downs Venonymous, and claims that they're "the only losers" (calling back to both having lost to Boltechs). Venonymous turns the tables on Clockwork Paradox with a surprise combination attack, taking out everyone in Clockwork Paradox except Zero. PH-1 takes the time to engage in her own Unsportsmanlike Gloating, which Zero uses to active her Leader skill. She takes out PH-1's teammates, but gets poisoned right when she prepares the finishing blow to PH-1 herself. PH-1 calls in Arachnobot, who eliminates Zero and wins the match for Venonymous.
  • Out-of-Character Alert: She's conspicuously late to her Episode 16 fight with Boltechs. Cleanette immediately speculates that they have been training hard for the fight against Boltechs, which turns out to be the case.
  • Time Stands Still: Her gadget slowly charges over the course of a fight. Once the proper amount of time has passed, she can stop time and single-handedly take out the entire opposing team.
  • Worthy Opponent: She implicitly recognizes Boltechs as such in Episode 16; she knocks over FAM, who more openly admitted that they were inspired by G-Wrench, and is far less haughty in victory than earlier in the series.

Swen Sarchfield (Swen Searchfield)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/688.png
Voiced by: Atsushi Tamaru

  • Weaponized Teleportation: He fights by throwing his unassuming boomerang-like gadget into portals, targeting the opponent at unexpected angles.

Steam Knight Kettler (Nettou Senshi Kettler)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/325_92.png
Voiced by: Ryou Sugisaki

FAM RadioBot (RadiBoy FAM)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/33_9.png
Voiced by: Shouta Yamamoto

Locksmith Keyla (Illegal Kagikko Picky)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/403_4.png
Voiced by: Miyu Yoshizaki

  • The Medic: She can "unlock" her allies' damage, healing them.

    Venonymous

Virus Commander PH-1 (Flick Commander PH-1)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/259_22.png
Voiced by: Akiha Matsui

  • Drone Deployer: She summons poisonous insects as her primary method of attack.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She has large breasts, talks in a seductive manner, and practically pole-dances during one battle.
  • She-Fu: She is incredibly athletic and appears to be adept at hand-to-hand combat, delivering a jumping roundhouse to Swen in their battle.
  • Status Infliction Attack: Her leader skill poisons everyone.

Smogcaster Viper (Smoky Snake Shisha)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/262_4.png
Voiced by: Tomohito Takatsuka

Pressure Gunner Ivy (High-Power Senjou KID Iris)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/261_28.png
Voiced by: Miyu Tomita

  • Cold Sniper: She usually sits at the upper part of the arena and aims at the opponents with her poison-spray Sniper Rifle. She also doesn't appear to be particularly friendly.
  • Talking Is a Free Action: Ivy averts this when she beans Mattie in the middle of her bragging about her Style Change. Mattie responds by chasing down and eliminating Ivy with her autovac.

Acidspray Nebula (Misty Jet)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/456.png
Voiced by: Sayaka Senbongi

Petrol Blaster Arachnobot (Oil Pumper Churu Churu)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/260_7.png
Voiced by: Kouichi Souma

    GGGSF

Major General Vice (General Vice)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/522_2.png
Voiced by: Tesshō Genda

  • Authority Equals Asskicking: He commands the GSF and takes to the battlefield himself to deal with G-Wrench when the time comes to capture Mona.
  • My Master, Right or Wrong: He clearly has reservations about the orders that he receives regarding Mona, but still follows through solely because they are his superiors.

Commander Catherine Carver (Kirikomi Taichou Cutty)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/525_4.png
Voiced by: Natsumi Fujiwara

  • Alliterative Name: Commander Catherine Carver
  • Punch-Clock Villain: Not only does she also have issues with their current assignment, she's also clearly irritated when Vice interrupts her maintenance work with orders to intercept Boltechs.

GX-17 Guardian Proto (GX-17 Guardian Baal)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/41_5.png

  • Final Boss: It is the final opponent that G-Wrench faces in the anime.
  • Godzilla Threshold: Given its size and powerset, the only way that the heroes can combat it is by creating Gunbar, a Super Robot.
  • Humongous Mecha: It is a massive robot that towers over the rest of the cast.
  • Power Nullifier: When fused with the humanoid Lost Gear, it can disable gadgets and even turn them against their users.

Multitool Battlebot Amy (Juu-Shiki Hito-Gata Kettou Heiki Amy)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/223_0.png
Voiced by: Minori Chihara

  • Exact Words: During GSF's first attempt to capture Mona, Amy projects a barrier that protects Mona but leaves everyone else exposed. When questioned about it, Amy states that Mona was the only one that G-Bolt specifically ordered her to protect. Mona counters by arguing that since she was summoned from G-Bolt's chip, orders from her are the same as orders from him, which Amy accepts before expanding her barrier.
  • Heel–Face Turn: After being narrowly defeated by Mona Chrome, she is rescued and repaired by G-Bolt, leading to her assisting the heroes.
  • Robot Girl: She is a robot built by G-Bolt based on the Lost Gear.

Emergency Unit Ringa (Dai-110-Ban Shoutai Eisei-hei Ran)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/181.png
Voiced by: Manaka Iwami

    Techs Mechs

G-Bolt (Adjust Bolt)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/893.png
Voiced by: Shinpachi Tsuji

  • An Arm and a Leg: Spanner and Goldblood cut off his right hand while trying to gain access to his technology.
  • Retired Badass: As a member of TechsMechs, he was equally renowened for his fighting and his technological prowess.

Spanner (Kikou no Tankyuusha Spanner)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/690.png
Voiced by: Megumi Toyoguchi

  • Bait-and-Switch: Her duel with G-Wrench, which was set up to be the anime's climactic battle, is quickly interrupted by Mona creating Gunbar to fight Guardian Proto.
  • Big Bad: She is the closest thing to a central antagonist in the anime, though even she is under another entity's orders.
  • Driven by Envy: She was envious of G-Bolt's skills, which made it easier for her to turn against him.
  • Older Than She Looks: She seemingly hasn't aged a day since betraying G-Bolt, who has aged quite a bit.

Goldblood (Plier Goldblood)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/691.png
Voiced by: Masayuki Katoh
