     Boarder Cookie/Skater Cookie

Korean: 보더맛 쿠키 bodeomas kuki

Let me show you some tricks!

A speedy cookie who's nearly inseparable from his signature skateboard known as the "Cat Tail Candy Cane Board". Originally, he used to be a member of GingerBrave's group of friends in the original version of GingerBrave's Tale, but is now currently MIA for reasons unexplained in the new version of said tale.

In both LINE Cookie Run and Ovenbreak, he moves a bit faster than all of the other Cookies.

  • Adaptational Wimp: Hoo boy, where to start.
    • In terms of rank, he gets hit with this harder than Strawberry, as he too is Common.
    • Made even worse when compared to the likes of other A-Ranked Cookies like him being transferred as the Ovenbreak-equivalent rank as Rare!*
    • Even applies traditionally as well. Though his ability remains unchanged, the speed of Ovenbreak is noticeably slower than LINE Cookie Run, so while he's still the fastest, he's not as fast.
  • Adapted Out: For one reason or another, Skater Cookie is no longer present at all in the current version of the wraparound story of GingerBrave's Tale like he was in the original version.
  • Cool Board: Shaped like a candy cane and, apparently, limited edition.
  • Eye-Obscuring Hat: His eyes are always hidden by his cap.
  • Hidden Depths: Besides his love for skateboarding, Skater Cookie likes to ski as well!
  • Implausible Boarding Skills: While it's a traditional skateboard, the fact that he takes it with him over all the treacherous terrain the Cookies traverse qualifies him.
  • Out of Focus: As if it's not enough to be the big example of Adaptational Wimp in this franchise, Skater Cookie also gets less screen time than GingerBright to the point he never appears in spin-offs!

The Witch? She doesn't scare me!

Click here to see him in Cookie Run: Kingdom

”Once more, I have kept the princess safe!”
Class (Cookie Run: Kingdom): Defense
Position: Front
Skill: Cavalry Charge
Released in: Version 1.0 (Launch of Cookie Run: Kingdom)

A dedicated knight with a sword and a trusty stead of his own who protects Princess Cookie and has trouble expressing his feelings. He tends to get himself into trouble, whether it be through bad luck on his part or from Princess Cookie giving it to him thanks to her rebelliousness. But his skills as a knight cannot be underestimated, if his achievement of cutting off the tail of The Dreaded Pitaya Dragon Cookie is any indication!

In both LINE Cookie Run and Ovenbreak, he speeds up significantly after collecting a Blast powerup.

In Kingdom, Knight Cookie is a Defense Cookie placed at the front, and his skill is called Cavalry Charge. Knight Cookie gives himself an HP Shield and charges forward, dealing area damage, and taunts enemies, forcing them to attack Knight Cookie.

  • Ascended Extra: Accompanying Princess Cookie, he appears as a side-protagonist alongside GingerBrave and company in Kingdom’s Map 10 and 11 featuring her hometown. He's also a focus character of the "Tropical Soda Islands" storyline.
  • Battle Cry: "For honor!"
  • Beleaguered Assistant: Princess Cookie’s impulsiveness exhausts him to no end, as he always has to run after her to keep her both safe and in check.
  • Black Knight: The Bittersweet Guardian costume trades Knight Cookie's white chocolate armor for dark chocolate armor.
  • Blood Knight: In his Icewind Cavalier costume, Knight expresses his desire to cut more than just the tail.
  • Butt-Monkey: Every time he gets his screen time in Kingdom, he suffers one way or another by either his lady’s whims or outside factors. Sometimes both.
  • Compressed Hair: He has long hair, if the comics are any indication, but only a small curl of it can be seen sticking out of his helmet.
  • I Shall Taunt You: Part of his Kingdom skillset that helps enemies focus on attacking him only, thus can tank hits for other Cookies in the team to safely attack. Unfortunately, this skillset also has an equal chance of backfiring on him if his defense isn't well-built enough.
  • It's Personal: His Icewind Cavalier costume suggested his motivation to fight against the Red Dragon may have been more than just knightly honor.
  • Knight in Shining Armor: Amongst the array of knight-motif Cookies, he plays this trope to a T. He is officially titled “Knight Cookie”, rides a horse and slaughters dragons on a frequent basis, wears white armor, and has blond hair like a prince from fairytale.
  • The Nicknamer: In Kingdom, he gives Princess Cookie a new nickname almost every single time he talks to her, some of them are just him snarking at her. In her long list of aliases, he contributes 14 out of 18.
  • Playing Card Motifs: His Knight of Spades costume has one with Spade suit. Interestingly enough, the motif is carried over to his Icewind Cavalier costume as he has a blue spade on his helm.
  • Real Men Wear Pink: Has a pink colored set of armor (that he's quite embarrassed about).
  • Save the Princess: Cited in one of his introduction lines, which allude to Princess Cookie (He will still say this line even if she's his relay).
  • Ship Tease: He has a huge crush on Princess Cookie, wanting to dance with her in the Kingdom of Dreams storyline in Cookie Run Kingdom (while denying it and stating it was just for her protection). Too bad Princess Cookie's off to see Aladdin...
  • White-and-Grey Morality: While his action of cutting the dragon's tail, which is later revealed to be the tail of Pitaya Dragon Cookie, AND wiping out almost every dragons is considered heroic, it is not considered so for Dino Sour Cookie.
Dino Sour Cookie (About Knight Cookie) (Tension): Cut the dragon’s tail? Not cool!
Pitaya Dragon Cookie (About Knight Cookie) (Tension): That Pet of yours is curiousssly familiar...
  • Wild Hair: The comics (though of questionable canon status) reveal him to have long, untamable blond hair.

Gosh, do you even lift?

Click here to see him in Cookie Run: Kingdom

”PROTEIN!”
Class (Cookie Run: Kingdom): Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Muscle King Power
Released in: Version 1.0 (Launch of Cookie Run: Kingdom)

A cookie obsessed with working out and showing off his muscles. He loves to put his Super-Strength to good use but is a relatively decent guy underneath his intimidating appearance. One of his most notable escapades is during the wraparound story of the Dreamy Cookieland event where he and Adventurer Cookie have been de-aged into children thanks to the magical properties of the amusement park itself. He also has a lot of respect and admiration for Spinach Cookie thanks to the surprising amount of strength that she has within her.

His abilities in LINE Cookie Run and Ovenbreak differ significantly. In LINE Cookie Run, he is invincible to obstacles some of the time. In Ovenbreak, he throws a kettlebell to destroy objects. Additionally, Magic Candy allows him to throw a giant dumbbell for more destruction points, after throwing the kettlebell a certain number of times.

In Kingdom, Muscle Cookie is a Charge Cookie placed at the front, and his skill is called Muscle King Power. Muscle Cookie uses his impressive strength and throws a heavy kettlebell at the enemy team, dealing area damage. In game, the skill description says he applies the Shock debuff, though this isn’t actually the case.

Will I meet my Prince Charming?

Click here to see her in Cookie Run: Kingdom

”And where shall I go today?”
Class (Cookie Run: Kingdom): Charge
Position: Front
Skill: Royal Swing
Released in: Version 1.0 (Launch of Cookie Run: Kingdom)

A princess who enjoys sneaking off to go on adventures and has a knack for getting herself out of any trouble she may get into, whether Knight Cookie is with her or not. In spite of her rebellious and cheeky nature, she is very sweet and takes helping those less fortunate than her very seriously, if her adventures in Cookie Run: Kingdom can attest to! She is also the granddaughter of the Ancient Hero Hollyberry Cookie.

Her abilities in LINE Cookie Run and Ovenbreak are quite different. In LINE Cookie Run, she takes less damage from hitting obstacles. Ovenbreak gives her a completely different ability: she creates Pink Heart Jellies at given intervals.

In Kingdom, Princess Cookie is a Charge Cookie placed at the front, and her skill is called Royal Swing. Princess Cookie swings her royal scepter, dealing area damage and lowering enemy Defense.

  • Adaptational Badass: In the main games, she's a rather low rarity cookie and is objectively outclassed by Epic ranked cookies or higher. In Kingdom, not only is she a very solid Charge unit — even though she's still in the Rare rarity — but in the story, it's shown that she is capable of singlehandedly fighting off Pitaya Dragon Cookie without breaking a sweat.
  • Ambiguously Gay: In Knight Cookie's event in "Crunchy Dreams", he dreams of numerous suitors wanting to marry Princess Cookie ranging from Clotted Cream, Sparkling and for some odd reason, Raspberry Cookie. She shows no interest in any of the male cookies but she confidently tells Raspberry that she doesn't need to marry her to regain her family honor. Not to mention that in OvenBreak and Puzzle World, she admires White Choco Cookie.
  • Ascended Extra: She, alongside Knight Cookie, appears as a side-protagonist alongside GingerBrave and company in Kingdom’s Map 10 and 11 featuring her hometown.
  • Cute Bruiser: She is incredibly cute, and is skilled in martial arts.
  • A Day in the Limelight: She's one of the focus characters in Kingdom's "Tropical Soda Adventures" storyline along in Map 11 and 12.
  • Determinator: If she wants something done, she's gonna get it done. In "Tropical Soda Adventures", she's gonna get her island vacation and juice, pirates be damned!
  • Failed a Spot Check: In her and Knight Cookie's story in Cheery Spring Picnic, she can't help but gasp in awe when Raspberry Cookie talks about a legendary sword-fighter who cut the tail off a dragon...and doesn't realize that said sword-fighter is Knight Cookie.
  • Famous Ancestor: Her grandmother is Hollyberry Cookie, the Founder of the Kingdom and one of the five ancient heroes.
  • Hartman Hips: Implied. She may have share this trait with Tiger Lily if one considered the fact that they are twins. However, this was downplayed in one gingerbrave_dev post, where she appears to have normal legs like other cookies have instead.
  • Heart Symbol: Has a heart motif going on: her pet is based off of a heart, her ability spreads out jellies in the shape of a heart, she has an Alice in Wonderland inspired costume called Princess of Hearts, etc.
  • Life of the Party: In the Disney crossover event, she's the one creating a party and seating arrangements for the Disney Cookies.
  • No-Sell: In the "Tropical Soda Islands" storyline in Kingdom, she's not affected by Lilac Cookie's sleeping recipe due to having so much energy.
  • Oblivious to Love: Has no idea that Knight Cookie crushes on her and sees him as a good friend.
  • Poor Communication Kills: On both sides in Maps 11 and 12 of Kingdom, upon hearing there's a princess contest, Princess Cookie decides to partake in the event instead of just telling her parents that she's back. When Knight Cookie asks why not do the simple thing, she states she has her pride to consider. On the other side, her mother explains that they wanted to let her roam around and grow up, not to mention that they had no idea where she was while Pitaya Dragon was wreaking havoc.
  • Pretty Princess Powerhouse: She knows martial arts for godsake...
  • Princesses Prefer Pink: Everything about her is pink: her dress, hair, accessories, Jellies, Pet,... Welp, except her martial arts skill.
  • Rebellious Princess: For a Disney-intensified princess with adorable smile and cute hairdo, she’s surprisingly playful and mischievous. Some of her Messages are her saying she has "no need to be graceful", or complaining about how dull staying inside is. She also wishes to be like White Choco Cookie.
Talk in Lobby: "Having fun every day, that’s the princess’ way!"
  • Rose-Haired Sweetie: Despite her rebelliousness, she’s generally nice and pleasant.
  • Spoiled Sweet: She is somewhat spoiled and pampered, as she often expects Knight Cookie to protect her without absence. That being said, she more often uses her status as princess to help those around her in need.
  • Tarot Motifs: Heavily implied to represent The Empress in Cinnamon Cookie's Fortuneteller Apprentice card deck.

     Zombie Cookie

Zombie Cookie

Korean: 좀비맛 쿠키 jombimas kuki

Graaaggh...

A underbaked and undying cookie who is one of GingerBrave's friends. Despite being well-meaning, it isn't exactly the brightest tool in the shed. The most notable thing about Zombie Cookie (aside from its random bouts of Symbol Swearing which would make Qbert jealous) is that it's a consistent friend and ally of GingerBrave and his circle of friends in both the original and current versions of GingerBrave's Tale.

Its ability is the same in both LINE Cookie Run and Ovenbreak, but it manifests differently. It can revive itself after running out of Energy a certain number of times with a certain amount of Energy. In LINE Cookie Run, upgrades increased the number of times it could revive (but the energy upon reviving actually dropped with the upgrades). In Ovenbreak, upgrades increase the energy it revives with, and the number of times it can revive (but this is much less frequent).

  • Ambiguous Gender: In LINE this cookie uses he/him. In Ovenbreak, it uses it/its. Zombie Cookie’s Halloween event Alice in wonderland ("Creepy Cute") costume - which is straight-up an Alice cosplay - highlights this trope.
  • Creepy Cute: It's literally the name of its Alice costume and it honestly does pull it off.
  • Determinator: Its ability lets it revive several times and continue running, giving an impression of perseverance.
  • Friendly Zombie: Given that it is one of GingerBrave's friends, it's very well-meaning and harmless.
  • Mad Eye: One of its eyes is a small dot while the other is pretty normal-sized, although it could just be a missing eye.
  • Symbol Swearing: It can speak in English, but sometimes it does this; and chances are, it isn't actually swearing.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: It is afraid of plants, to the point that it's afraid of Herb Cookie of all cookies.

Currently Unreleased for Ovenbreak

     Coffee Cookie

Coffee Cookie

Korean: 커피맛 쿠키 keopimas kuki

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/coffee_cookie.png
Something low carb, low calorie, and fat free please!

If you haven't guessed by the name of this cookie, she loves to drink coffee as her Trademark Favorite Beverage. Though she has yet to make an appearance in Cookie Run: Ovenbreak, barring a cameo, her most notable feat so far involves helping GingerBrave and his friends in dealing with the Jelly Walker Menace in Cookie Wars.

Her ability grants her more health restoration when picking up a potion.

     Ginger Claus

Ginger Claus

Korean: 산타맛 쿠키 santamas kuki

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ginger_claus.png
It's a pity they don't build chimneys anymore.

Ginger Claus is, according to OvenBreak 2, GingerBrave's cousin from the North Pole. He delivers presents to good children, though they have been described as "odd".

Ginger Claus has the ability of granting extra XP and Coins after a run, serving as a hybrid of GingerBright and Buttercream Choco Cookie's skills in that same game.

In 2017, Cookie Run: OvenBreak released the "Some Cookie's Ginger Claus Costume" for GingerBrave, which was seemingly an attempt to retcon GingerBrave and Ginger Claus into the same character; despite LINE/Kakao Cookie Run having both be able to be used in the same run as a relay. This would be reinforced during the Christmas 2019 update, and would be put to rest in the Labyrinth of Remembrance event in 2021, where it was confirmed that the two characters were not the same, and that GingerBrave was simply impersonating Ginger Claus in his Cookie Run: OvenBreak appearances in the past.

  • Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Downplayed. While Ginger Claus has not made any appearances beyond LINE/Kakao Cookie Run, due to GingerBrave impersonating him, he is still explicitly mentioned, to be his own being in the Labyrinth of Remembrance event. This effectively kills the theory that Ginger Claus is an alter ego of GingerBrave, as it is explained that GingerBrave had impersonated Ginger Claus to please Pudding Cookie, to the disgust of GingerBright and Alchemist Cookie. Regardless, the real Ginger Claus has not been seen since his sudden second chance to win him in LINE Cookie Run in 2018.
  • Long-Lost Relative: GingerBrave's cousin. Downplayed, as GingerBrave has only acknowledged Ginger Claus as his own person once in the Labyrinth of Remembrance event in Cookie Run: OvenBreak, nearly 9 years after Ginger Claus' debut in Oven Break 2, where Ginger Claus himself is aware that he is GingerBrave's cousin; though GingerBrave does not acknowledge the relation in return.
  • Odd Name Out: Ginger Claus is the only Cookie in LINE to not have the word "Cookie" in his name. This is because he uses his OvenBreak 2 name, which was modified to include a space (GingerClaus -> Ginger Claus).
    • Interestingly, Ginger Claus' Treasure in LINE Cookie Run refers to Ginger Claus as "Santa Cookie".
  • Santa Claus: This game's equivalent. He would be semi-usurped by the existence of Eggnog Cookie in Cookie Run: OvenBreak, but he is still the same Ginger Claus, even if he jsis relegated to a mention-only character.
  • Temporary Online Content: In LINE Cookie Run, he could be obtained as a part of the Christmas 2014 event, and again in 2018 during the "Bake Cinnamon Cookie!" event; meaning those who didn't participate couldn't get him ever again.
