    General
  • Animalistic Abomination: Thanks to being part-Grand Primeval, the biological members of the Filii Magicae are very eldritch in both mind and body compared to their divine peers, though how eldritch depends on how old they are. Older members, like Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, get hit with this trope more as their age makes their heritage more obvious.
  • The Archmage: Befitting their relations to the Magic Primeval, many of Tuzu's children are ancient deities, as well as incredibly powerful spellcasters.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Like their parent, many members of the Filii Magicae are benevolent and genuinely care for divine/mortal sapientkind... but they are utterly terrifying when enraged and capable of wielding incredible magical power.
  • Divine Parentage: As indicated by their group name, the Filii Magicae are the adoptive and biological children of Tuzu, the Magic Primeval. Due to deities' biology being vastly different than mortals', being biologically related to someone as old as Tuzu means that many of their children are pretty eldritch and alien themselves.
  • The Dreaded: As the biological/adoptive children of one of the oldest Grand Primevals alive, the Filii Magicae are treated with both dread and respect even by younger deities. Being incredibly powerful spellcasters adds to their reputation significantly. Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya compares their status to being "a kind of royalty".
  • God Is Good: Many of them are benevolent like their parent, if alien and incomprehensible at times.
  • God of Good: Many of them embody 'good' aspects of Magic and are genuinely benevolent.
  • Hybrid Power: As a Grand Primeval, Tuzu is a Cosmic Entity, and many of their children were sired through both deities and mortals alike. This gives the Filii Magicae a unique heritage that makes them stronger and more powerful than even normal deities.
  • Massive Numbered Siblings: Justified.
  • Time Abyss: The oldest of the Filii Magicae are millions, if not billions of years old.
  • Winged Unicorn: As shown with Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya and Queen Magus Kawan, some members of the Filii Magicae are Alicorns, albeit Alicorn hybrids due to being part-Grand Primeval.

Kunnusta, Keeper of Forgotten Lore, High Queen of the Shadowed Ones

Classification: Ethereal/Fallen, Child of Erebus

Portfolio: Primordial Darkness, Forgotten Knowledge, Lost History

Rank: Primeval

High Queen Kunnusta is the Fallen goddess of Primordial Darkness, Forgotten Knowledge, and Lost History, and is the husband/brother of High King Ragnarøkkr.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: She's a Fallen goddess who embodies Primordial Darkness, Forgotten Knowledge, and Lost History.
  • Armor-Piercing Response: When she asks High Queen Haust how she managed to break the "Ragnarok Cycle" plaguing the Hoyklan Deer pantheon, Haust answered: "We showed our son love." Notably, it made her quietly stammer that she doesn't "get it".
  • Awful Wedded Life: By all means, Ragnarøkkr is a terrible husband. Because he is a "Malignant Narcissist", he is a total Control Freak who does not tolerate even slight deviations from his preferred outcomes or accidental insults. Kunnusta admits that Ragnarøkkr has never shown her love throughout their marriage, and has even implied that the previous High Queen of the Shadows was given to Surtr after displeasing him. Her divine daughters, the Norns, are not safe from Ragnarøkkr's abusive treatment, either, and it was discovered by others that they would be given to Surtr as well if he thinks they have displeased him enough.
  • Cruel to Be Kind: She leads Sacred Swan to discover the Awful Truth about Gael, something that utterly breaks her and leaves her in complete anguish. Kunnusta did this because it was the only way Swan would snap out of her Fantastic Racism and become a better person who could expose Gael's crimes to the world. In her words, Swan's heart had to be broken if it was to ever be reforged as something better.
  • A Form You Are Comfortable With: When she appears to Sacred Swan, she does so in the form of a griffon with a raven front half and black panther hindquarters. This is both to act as her guide and because her true form would obviously just freak her out.
  • God Was My Copilot: Sacred Swan is assisted by a griffon named Gamall in finding information on Gael, which leads to her discovering the Awful Truth about her kingdom's founder. Gamall encourages her to decide what she'll do with it while her shadow reveals to the audience it was Kunnusta.
  • Happily Adopted: Following the defeat and deaths of the rest of the Shadowed Ones, she ends up being adopted by Tuzu, the Magic Primeval, who recognizes her love for studying history and is sympathetic to her abusive past. This makes her a member of Tuzu's children, the Filii Magicae, by adoption.
  • Heel–Face Turn: After being exposed to the memories of love from all the goddesses battling her, she was finally convinced to stand down and surrender, realizing that her brother/husband/liege Ragnarøkkr never truly loved her and doesn't deserve her loyalty (or to continue existing, for that matter). Before she leaves with Skuld, the present day Norns and their brother Mummer, she told the goddesses present how to defeat Ragnarøkkr, giving the heroic gods and champions the critical knowledge needed to beat the High King of Shadows.
  • Redemption Earns Life: As the only Shadowed One to make a Heel–Face Turn, she's also the only one to neither die or face the wrath of the Grand Primevals (which is arguably even worse). She also gets adopted by Tuzu, the leader of the Grand Primevals, as they recognize her desire/love for studying history and sympathizes with the abuse she suffered from her fellow Shadowed Ones.
  • The Shadow Knows: Invoked example: she briefly makes her mortal guise as 'Gamall' have her shadow assume the shape of her true form.
  • Sympathy for the Devil: She ends up being pitied by Haust when she learns that love was what broke the "Ragnarok Cycle", and has enormous difficulty trying to figure out or understand it because she was never shown love at all.
  • Token Good Teammate: She's the only one of the Shadowed Ones possessing any redeeming or sympathetic traits whatsoever. She's also the only one of the group to make a Heel–Face Turn.
  • Tragic Villain: While directly involved in the Shadowed Ones' manipulation of "Cycles", she's trapped in a completely loveless marriage to an abusive, sociopathic Control Freak who engineers horrible fates for those who cross him, including her own daughters, the Norns, who are given to Surtr if they fail him too many times. She also implies that this is also what happened to her predecessor. Her reaction to Love breaking the "Cycles" as if it's a completely foreign object also provokes a sympathetic reaction from Haust.
  • What Is This Thing You Call "Love"?: When informed by Haust that she broke the "Ragnarok Cycle" by showing her adoptive son FlĹ“rĂ° love, Kunnusta reacts to it cluelessly, having enormous difficulty understanding love due to never being shown love once. This caused Haust to pity her.

Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, the Oracle of the Stars

Classification: Ethereal/Elemental/Ascendant

Portfolio: Astrology, Stars, Divination, Prophecy

Rank: Antecedent

"The world we live in is so big, and the surrounding galaxy even more so. And yet, somewhere out there, there are creatures who are just as curious about their surroundings as we are."

Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, born Star Dreamer (his entry here), is the Grand Primeval/Alicorn hybrid god of Astrology, Stars, Divination, and Prophecy, and is a benevolent member of both the Filii Magicae and the Church of the Stars.
  • Abstract Apotheosis: He was born a demigod thanks to his 'father' being Tuzu, the Magic Primeval, but he Ascends to true godhood after realizing that people desire to connect and be understood by others.
  • All of the Other Reindeer: Much like his mother, his unique talent in "speaking to the stars" (which is esssentially a cosmic version of Telepathy) got him perceived as "mad" by fellow Alicorns, and made him a target for bullying and other forms of mistreatment from both classmates and adults. Fortunately, his familiy would defend him, and he would be largely left alone once his 'father''s identity as Tuzu, the Magic Primeval was revealed. However, the foalhood trauma contributed to his overall feelings of bitterness, anger, and resentment that he would repress until well into the Third Age.
  • Animalistic Abomination: His true form is a gigantic Grand Primeval/Alicorn hybrid whose heritage makes him more eldritch compared to his peers. His coat is dotted with stars and constellations, he has six wings with feathers made of golden stardust, and his mane and tail resembles yellow nebulas with dark spots showing more stars and constellations. Like KĂşzelnĂk, both his coat and mane/tail are affected by his emotions, with them showing more violent cosmic phenomena when upset. His entire presence constantly glows with starlight, and those who know him have described him as constantly shifting as if his body is made of space, making him similar to Tuzu in a way. While he's very handsome, he's considered beautiful in an otherworldly way. He also has the chimeric traits of all mortal Pony tribes, but they're made eldritch-looking due to his divine age and hybrid heritage.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: He's a Grand Primeval/Alicorn hybrid god who embodies Astrology, Stars, Divination, and Prophecy.
  • The Archmage: He's a very powerful Seer who's skilled in using various divination methods, and one of the most powerful astrologers known to the public who is capable of wielding Star magic like Queen Dazzleglow and the Sparkle Ponies of Kerajaan Cahaya. He also has created entire Pocket Dimensions that housed and accommodated the needs of everyone inside, including entire races, and makes a point to other different branches of magic. There's also his Grand Primeval/Alicorn heritage, which gives him magical power far greater than what the typical Alicorn in his age-group possesses. He's also the one who taught the people of Kerajaan Cahaya the 'Voice of the Stars' ability, which netted him the position of chief astronomer in the Church of the Stars. For bonus points, he served as headmaster of a magical academy he founded during the Alicorn Civilization's heyday.
  • Astrologer: As a god of Astrology, he is this, and has unique powers pertaining to his domain like predicting the future, intuitive knowledge of stars and planets, telescopic vision, granting blessings to astrologers (and astronomers), and using certain celestial bodies and constellations to empower himself and alter the effects of his spells. Even as a colt, he was very skilled in astrology and its prophetic aspects, something he inherited to a degree from his mother, an astronomer. According to him, what separates true astrology from its fake and/or mundane counterparts is the understanding of how various magical and metaphysical phenomena in the stars affect life in the known galaxies, no matter how minor.
  • The Atoner: At one point, he gradually became corrupt like many of his fellow Alicorns, condoning and participating in their hedonism, and believing being a son of a Grand Primeval gave him freedom to do whatever he pleased. He also saw himself as morally superior to others for his efforts in opposing bigotry and hatred. But thanks to his prophetic dreams and Tuzu showing him the consequences of abusing power, he apologized to his loved ones and made efforts in atoning for his sins. His loved ones forgave him as his remorse was genuine.
  • Badass Teacher: He has taught millions, if not billions of students of all races over countless Ages, and even served as Headmaster of a magical academy he founded during the Alicorn Civilization's heyday. He's also an ancient god who's roughly as old as Golden Scepter, except he's far more eldritch and powerful in comparison due to being half-Grand Primeval.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: He's an intelligent and studious, yet kind, tolerant, and empathetic stallion who staunchly believes in friendship and coexistence, and seeks to help people connect and understand each other. He was also responsible for sheltering both deities and mortals in his pocket dimensions to keep them safe from various crises. That being said, as a son of Tuzu, he is terrifying when genuinely angered by things like racism, moral hypocrisy (such as the Interregnum's willingness to use magic/psionics to uphold The Masquerade despite their anti-magic stance), and perversion/destruction/stunting of magic. He's also willing to make people face the consequences of their actions, even if he personally may not like it.
  • Big Brother Mentor: His entry notes that he's the oldest of his biological family. After Ascending to true godhood and being crowned a Prince, he helped his younger siblings Ascend as well.
  • Big Good: As a son of a Grand Primeval (specifically Tuzu, who is The Leader of the other Grand Primevals) and a divine teacher, he taught millions of students and participated in various crises such as the 'Twilight of the Alicorns', the 'Dark Crystal Conflict', and others. His status as this is further cemented when he became a member of the Church of the Stars during the Second and Fourth Ages.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: Downplayed. As an ancient Alicorn who's also half-Grand Primeval, he has an alien mindset similar to his parent, Tuzu. He has a different sense of time, and like Tuzu, he's willing to make people learn the consequences of their actions, especially if they created horrible crises, even if he personally may not like doing so. However, since he's younger than Tuzu, he's able to understand and connect with the morality of both mortals and younger deities in a way that his parent cannot.
  • Calling the Old Man Out: During the 'Dark Crystal Conflict', he called his parent Tuzu out for potentially letting millions die in order for sapientkind to learn from their collective mistakes, as well as preventing him from saving people from Dark Crystal when Tuzu themself intervened to stop the Malignant Powers during the Imperium Era. He ultimately came to understand Tuzu's actions once they gave him a proper explanation for doing so.
Prince Stella Fictor: Let me go back there, Father! There are creatures needing my help!
    Tuzu: No. Do not interfere.
Prince Stella Fictor: And why not?!
Tuzu: The threat Tellus is facing was born from their own sins. Sapientkind needs to face her in order to come out of our judgement alive.
Prince Stella Fictor: So were the Malignant Powers! And yet you helped defeat them!
Tuzu: Yes, but that's because the Malignant Powers twisted the laws of the universe so badly that sapientkind could only fight a losing battle, no matter what they did. The situation was dire enough that it needed our intervention. But Dark Crystal is not the Malignant Powers. Here, sapientkind has more of a chance to win this time around.
Prince Stella Fictor: Not every-creature has the power, strength, and will to oppose her! The children...!
Tuzu: You cannot save every-creature, Star Dreamer. Not only do you run yourself ragged, but it also leaves creatures wholly dependent on you for protection. It is anathema to their growth and yours, something we cannot abide.
  • Cassandra Truth: During the Second Age, he received ominous prophetic visions of Queen Dark Crystal, the sole reason why the Interregnum came into being, irrevocably corrupting Equus into a hellish planet full of evil. He tried to warn everyone, but his pleadings went unheard.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome: Deconstructed. Due to his compassion and tolerance towards all sapient creatures, he often focuses on protecting them during crises and sheltering them away in Pocket Dimensions he created. However, as Tuzu pointed out, his constant need to do this will both leave him exhausted and make mortals completely dependant on him for protection, which would stifle the latter's capability to grow and adapt. It also nearly gets him killed when he fights Morning Star, a superior fighter, to protect a pocket dimension from him, and puts him at odds with Tuzu over their handling of the 'Dark Crystal Conflict' in the Second Age. His inability to save everyone contributed to his traumas and eventual breakdown in the Third Age, though thankfully he would receive support and comfort from his family and friends. He would also see various psychiatric deities, with one of them being young Mentálne.
  • Commonality Connection: His love for pranks and puns has gotten him befriending similarly-minded individuals, like Celestia and Midday Messenger.
  • Deity of Human Origin: He was originally a demigod thanks to his 'father' being a nonbinary Grand Primeval (specifically, the Magic Primeval). He eventually Ascended to true godhood by realizing people desire to connect and be understood by others.
  • De-power: As a god of Prophecy, he can render other Seers 'blind' by taking away their foresight.
  • Divine Parentage: He is a biological son of Tuzu, the Magic Primeval, through his mother, an Alicorn mare. On the flipside, he's theorized to be a divine ancestor of Blue Goldstone due to having very similar appearances, but him being gay means that Blue Goldstone would actually be a descendant of one of his younger biological siblings.
  • Dreaming of Things to Come: Justified. As a god of Astrology, Divination, and Prophecy, he is essentially a divine Seer who specializes in foretelling the future through cosmic phenomena.
    • During his corrupt phase, Stella had a prophetic dream where he fought an evil Alicorn dressed in full armor. At first he assumed there would be an upcoming threat that would endanger the Alicorn Civilization, but he ended up being taken on a 'tour' in the ghettos by his parent, Tuzu, who showed him the consequences of people abusing their authority for selfish, bigoted ends. When Stella had the dream again and unmasked his opponent, he realized his dream was a warning of what he will become if he didn't listen to his friends and family, and sought to atone for his mistakes.
    • In the Second Age, Stella received ominous prophetic visions of Queen Dark Crystal, whom the 'voices' in the stars also warned him about. In his visions, Dark Crystal appeared as a black mass of evil that devoured Equus/Tellus and spat it out as a rock twisted and corrupted beyond repair. Unfortunately, when Stella tried warning everyone, his pleadings went unheard, and Tuzu later stayed his hoof so he wouldn't interfere as Dark Crystal rampaged across Equus/Tellus in order to make sapientkind learn from their mistakes.
  • Ermine Cape Effect: Downplayed. While he does wear golden barding like Golden Scepter does, he wears a modest golden crown instead of a laurel one. He sometimes wears regal blue robes with his barding, but generally prefers to go without them.
  • Faint in Shock: He fainted out of shock when, after joining the Filii Magicae, he discovered that he has many more half-siblings thanks to Tuzu sleeping around.
  • The First Cut Is the Deepest: Part of his lasting trauma involved his breakup with Golden Scepter in the Second Age. While Golden Scepter acknowledges that he still loves Stella, he breaks up with him due to extreme guilt for his own sins and wanted to atone for them. While Stella does understand, he was still hurt pretty bad, made worse by how he thought Golden Scepter died during the 'Aurum Apostasy' for countless Ages, and never stopped loving him. Golden Scepter eventually realizes how he screwed up with Stella when their breakup eventually leads to Stella having a psychological breakdown, and apologizes to him for it. Stella does get over his heartbreak and settles with staying friends instead... but he ends up in a polyamorous relationship with Golden Scepter and Midday Messenger later on when Golden Scepter, after recovering from most of his own traumas, offers to rekindle their old relationship again, which he enthusiastically accepts.
  • The Force Is Strong with This One: As a god of Prophecy, he can both sense and enhance precognitive potential in others. This is how he discovered that Moon Ray Vaughoof's Prophecy domain had gone haywire (i.e. sentient) from three Ages of unwitting suppression.
  • Gender-Blender Name: "Stella" is typically a girl's name, but here it's justified as his birth name is Star Dreamer, and was later crowned as Prince Stella Fictor after Ascending to true godhood as part of an ancient Alicorn renaming tradition for those who became true royalty.
  • Gentle Giant: His true form is a gigantic Grand Primeval/Alicorn hybrid, being roughly as big as Golden Scepter's true form, with traits that are comparatively more eldritch than his peers'. He's also an intelligent yet kind, tolerant, and empathetic god who staunchly believes in friendship and seeks to help people understand and connect with each other... though given that he's a son of a Grand Primeval (specifically, Tuzu, the leader of the other Grand Primevals), it's not a good idea to anger him.
  • God Is Good: He's an intelligent and studious, yet kind, tolerant, and empathetic stallion who staunchly believes in friendship and coexistence, and seeks to help people connect and understand each other. He was also responsible for sheltering both deities and mortals in his pocket dimensions to keep them safe from various crises. That being said, he is a son of a Grand Primeval
  • God of Good: While he embodies Stars, Prophecy, and the astrological aspects of Divination, he also embodies the positive aspects of his portfolio when used to help guide people towards better futures and connect with those living in worlds beyond Equus.
  • Good Is Not Nice: While he still remained 'good' after becoming corrupt, he started beliving he was morally superior to others in part due to his opposition of bigotry and hatred, as well as being a son of a Grand Primeval. It's deconstructed; as his dreams indicate, his self-righteousness is a sign that he's walking down the path to becoming as evil as Morning Star or worse, which was thankfully averted once Tuzu showed him the consequences of abusing one's power for selfish/malicious reasons.
  • Good Is Not Soft: He's a kind, compassionate, and tolerant god who welcomes all no matter their gender, race, or age, and encourages his students to keep learning about the world around them. He also saved many mortals, deities, and races during various crises by hiding them in divine Pocket Dimensions that he created. However, he despises bigotry of all kinds, and also hates those who seek to destroy, pervert, or stunt magic for malicious reasons. And because his 'father' is a Grand Primeval, he can be terrifying when enraged.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: Of the "Cluster wings" and "Multicolored wings" variety. He has six wings with a magical gradient going from navy blue to black and golden-yellow, with his true form bearing wings with feathers made of golden stardust. Since gods get Stronger with Age, this represents how old and powerful he is.
  • Heavenly Blue: He has a navy-blue pelt with black gradients, and he's a powerful, ancient, and eldritch Alicorn god who's also a son of Tuzu, the Magic Primeval.
  • The Hedonist: Downplayed. While he never became as hedonistically depraved as the worst of the ancient Alicorns, he still condoned their behavior and even participated in some of their hedonism. This stopped when he dreamed about his own potential for evil and is forced to see what happens if he abused his divine power and authority in such a way.
  • Holy Halo: He has a divine halo like Golden Scepter and other ancient Alicorns, except his is made of starlight.
  • Honorary Uncle: After reconciling with Golden Scepter in the Third Age, he would go on to become an uncle-figure for the Terran Princes, Golden Scepter's children through his mortal wife, Blessed Skies. This would change after he enters a polyamorous relationship with Golden Scepter and Midday Messenger, but the Terran Princes would eventually come to terms with it.
  • Hot God: His default Alicorn form is described as "handsome". His true Alicorn form is also beautiful, but in an otherworldly way due to being half-Grand Primeval.
  • Hybrid Power: Being a son of a Grand Primeval (specifically Tuzu, the Magic Primeval) and an Alicorn mare boosted his natural divine and magical power far beyond what a typical "Antecedent"-ranked Alicorn might possess, turning him into a magical powerhouse. He also has the combined magics of all Pony tribes due to being half-Alicorn, but they're also boosted by his unique heritage.
  • Immortality Begins at Twenty: Subverted. As an "Antecedent"-ranked god from pre-Known History, he's roughly as old as Golden Scepter, with eldritch traits like six wings, a Holy Halo, and a cosmic-themed mane and tail. He was also born a demigod due to one of his parents being a Grand Primeval, and from there, he only had to Ascend to true godhood. And because of his hybrid parentage, he is a far more eldritch Alicorn compared to other Alicorns in his age-group, making him appear alien and unnerving. The fact that deities only get Stronger with Age only serves to make him a magical powerhouse.
  • Incompatible Orientation: This is the reason why his earliest relationships didn't work out. He dated many female partners, but found he only felt genuine romantic and sexual attraction towards males. He would later discover he is gay, but thankfully, his friends and family would help him accept this as part of him.
  • I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: Deconstructed and played for drama. Despite taking on multiple male lovers in the past, he genuinely loved Golden Scepter, so he is devastated when Golden Scepter chooses to break up with him in the Second Age. While he understands the former's reasons for doing so, he has a hard time moving on and pines for Golden Scepter for years. However, he comes to believe that such feelings are selfish, so he bottles them up so he wouldn't be a bother to anyone. It backfires, as all his pent-up emotions and trauma makes him suffer a psychological breakdown in the Third Age. Golden Scepter realizes his own role in the situation, and apologizes to him for not considering how he would've reacted to their breakup in the first place. Thanks to Golden Scepter, he is able to let go of his heartbreak and remain friends with him... only to be surprised (and delighted) when Golden Scepter later offers for him to be part of his relationship with Midday Messenger, which he enthusiastically accepts.
  • Jerkass Gods: Deconstructed. While he never became as depraved as the worst of the Alicorns in his day, he still participated in their hedonism to some degree and condoned them. He also became haughty and self-righteous due to him being a son of Tuzu, the Magic Primeval, and seeing himself as morally superior for his efforts in opposing bigotry and hatred. Despite his friends and family's efforts, he refused to listen, until he started having dreams of fighting an evil armored Alicorn and Tuzu showed him firsthand the consequences of abusing one's power. Realizing that he could end up the same way, he apologized to everyone he hurt and genuinely started atoning for his sins.
  • Light 'em Up: As a god of Stars, he can manifest starlight in various ways like beams, barriers, constructs, and other things.
  • Loser Son of Loser Dad: Deconstructed. Part of the reason why he was mistreated by his fellow Alicorns since foalhood is because they saw his mother as 'mad', when in reality his mother had a special telepathic ability to 'speak to the stars' that was poorly understood back then. Morning Star post-Fall also tried to have him killed just for being a 'mad-stallion' and nearly succeeded, had his siblings not saved him. It contributed to his feelings of bitterness, anger, and resentment long after the Alicorn Civilization fell, yet no one knew about it due to him bottling up his feelings for countless Ages until he snapped.
  • Love Hurts: One of many factors into his eventual breakdown was the heartbreak he felt over his breakup with Golden Scepter. He genuinely loved Golden Scepter and mourned him when he thought the latter died in the 'Aurum Apostasy' for countless Ages afterward. He later discovers Golden Scepter survived and reunites with him, but then Golden Scepter breaks up with him out of guilt for his own sins shortly after. Though understanding, he stil felt hurt by it and hid his feelings due to not wanting to appear 'selfish'... which leads to his breakdown, upon which Golden Scepter realizes his mistake in breaking up with him yet not taking into consideration how his old lover might feel about it. Thanks to Golden Scepter's support, he gets over his heartbreak and settles with being friends with Golden Scepter... but to his surprise later on, Golden Scepter offers to rekindle things between them after mostly recovering from his own issues, leading to him entering a polyamorous relationship with Golden Scepter and Midday Messenger.
  • Magic Hair: His default Alicorn form has a rippling golden-yellow mane and tail made of Astrology energy. His true Alicorn form has a yellow nebula-like mane and tail with dark spots showing more stars and constellations, due to being half-Grand Primeval.
  • Massive Numbered Siblings: Justified. Even before discovering his other half-siblings, he was part of a large family with lots of biological siblings because his parents — his "father" being Tuzu, the Magic Primeval — decided to have more children after siring him. Years later, after Ascending to true godhood, and meeting the many half-siblings Tuzu had sired before him, he proceeds to Faint in Shock.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Oracle of the Stars", due to being a god of Astrology and Prophecy who is a member of the Church of the Stars, and also has the unique ability to 'speak to the stars'.
  • Meaningful Name: His birth name is Star Dreamer, referring to his passion and talent for astrology. After Ascending to true godhood, he would be crowned as Prince Stella Fictor, which translates to "Star Dreamer" in Latin. However, he refused to name himself after a country, kingdom, or realm due to disinterest in ruling. It's not until the Fourth Age that he added "Cahaya" to his name after he rejoined the Church of the Stars in the Fourth Age, having gained true understanding of what it's like to teach and lead others.
  • Meaningful Rename: His birth name is Star Dreamer, but after Ascending to true godhood, he is crowned as Prince Stella Fictor to reflect this in accordance to ancient Alicorn naming traditions. Stella Fictor translates to "Star Dreamer" in Latin. However, he doesn't name himself after his home realm because he wasn't interested in ruling anything (at first). It's not until the Fourth Age that he adopts Kerajaan Cahaya's name into his own to represent his divine sovereignty over the rising kingdom, having grown to understand what it's truly like to lead and teach others.
  • Meteor-Summoning Attack: As a god of Stars, he can summon meteor showers to wipe out large crowds of enemies.
  • The Muse: A male example. As a god of Astrology, he serves as a divine patron and muse for both astrologers and astronomers due to having the power to bless them and their equipment, as well as intuitive knowledge of various stars and planets.
  • The Navigator: As a god of Astrology, he has a form of supernatural navigation that helps him predict and navigate bad weather.
  • No-Sell: As a god of Stars, he is granted immunity to radiation and plasma-related attacks.
  • The Only Way They Will Learn: Much like his 'father' Tuzu and the other Grand Primevals, he is willing to make people face the consequences of their actions, especially when said actions created horrible crises, even if he personally may not like it. This brought him to blows with Tuzu because of how they handled the 'Dark Crystal Conflict' after directly intervening with the Malignant Powers in the Imperium era, but he came to understand after Tuzu explained their reasons for intervention.
  • Oppose What You Suffered:
    • He doesn't like people who demean those who suffered less than others. As someone who suffered a lot for countless Ages yet repressed his own traumas out of shame for being supposedly 'selfish', he deeply understands what it feels like to think their own suffering isn't worth helping.
    • He despises bigotry and discrimination of all kinds, seeing them as obstacles to reaching empathy and understanding of all creatures, no matter how "justified" they are. This not only stems from seeing how ugly racism can get over the Ages, but also his and his mother's mistreatment at the hooves of their fellow Alicorns who disdained them for being 'mad', even if they genuinely didn't do anything wrong.
  • Our Gods Are Different: He's an "Ascendant deity", the rarest of the three main types of deities in the Codexverse. Specifically, he's a type of Ascendant deity who was born a [[Semidivine demigod]] first thanks to one of his parents being a Grand Primeval, before moving on to true godhood. His heritage, combined with his age, makes him extremely eldritch compared to other Alicorns in his time.
  • Playing with Fire: As a god of Stars, he can manifest starlight as blinding fire. This includes creating 'star-bombs', spheres of condensed fire, that explode and scorch anything within their vicinity.
  • Pocket Dimension: Name-dropped by Cultura. He created many divine pocket dimensions as a way to help protect and shelter those fleeing from wars, persecution, and other crises, up to and including mortal races who were deemed 'imperfect' by wicked individuals and deities who wanted nothing to do with the conflicts their peers got embroiled in. Many of his pocket dimensions remained undetected for countless Ages, though they aren't completely foolproof, as Morning Star's faction were still able to find some and slaughter everyone inside; he even nearly died trying to protect one such pocket dimension from Morning Star himself. Many races and deities he sheltered would be slowly reintroduced to the outside world come the Third Age, with social/cultural readjustments still ongoing.
  • Point of Divergence: If he hadn't heeded his dreams or listened to his loved ones when they became concerned with his growing corruption, he would have become as evil as Morning Star or worse. For his part, he acknowledges this and isn't afraid to tell Morning Star to his faceeven while on the brink of death, catching Morning Star off-guard.
  • Polyamory:
    • Before the Alicorn Civilization's fall, Stella would take on many lovers, though he exclusively started dating stallions and other males, both divine and mortal, after coming out as gay. One of his lovers was Golden Scepter, whom he met through the latter's older triplet brother, Platinum Crown.
    • Following his reconciliation with Golden Scepter in the Third Age and the return of Midday Messenger (and the surviving remnants of the Alicorn Civilization) an Age later, Stella would enter a polyamorous relationship with both of them after being offered by Golden Scepter to rekindle things, with Midday's approval. While he loves both Golden Scepter and Midday and is willing to share Golden Scepter with her, Stella only loves Midday platonically due to being gay. Their polyamory had huge public repercussions as many modern Alicorns didn't pursue such relationships, and it changed Stella's personal relationship with the Terran Princes from an Honorary Uncle to a potential stepfather.
  • Poor Communication Kills: Deconstructed. A huge reason why he broke down in the Third Age is because either he hid his problems from everyone believing he was "selfish", or was prevented from talking about them openly whether due to a complete lack of therapists available or people's well-meaning efforts to suppress information about the Void Aeon. Thankfully, all of his loved ones would coax him out of his shell and give him the comfort and support he desperately needed. He would also see various psychiatric deities in the Fourth Age, including Mentálne.
  • The Prankster: Despite his bookish, studious personality, he does have a mischievous streak and has played pranks on both deities and mortals at times. This got him befriending similarly mischievous individuals like Celestia and Midday Messenger.
  • Pungeon Master: He loves puns, even if he does groan at them himself.
  • Really Gets Around: During the Alicorn Civilization's heyday, he had many male partners, including Emperor Golden Scepter, following the realization that he was gay. And even before that, he dated several goddesses. It's later deconstructed; as the Alicorn Civilization grew increasingly corrupt, he became hedonistic to the point where he saw his people's hedonism as normal, even if he never became as depraved as the worst of the Alicorns. Thanks to his prophetic visions and his family's intervention, he realized the error of his ways and atoned for his misdeeds. He would eventually settle into a polyamorous relationship with both Golden Scepter and Midday Messenger in the Fourth Age after the former offered to rekindle their old love.
  • Replacement Goldfish: Defied. Despite entering a polyamorous relationship with Golden Scepter and Midday following Blessed Skies' death, he makes it absolutely clear that he has no intention to replace Blessed Skies, as he knew the mare personally for many years. It would also be quite cruel for Blessed Skies (or anyone else for that matter) to want Golden Scepter to remain single and in mourning for the rest of his life.
  • Screw Destiny: As a god of Prophecy, he has the power to 'break' prophecies, something that Fate deities, as well as deities of concepts like Self-Determination and Defiance, can also do.
  • Seers: As a god of Astrology, Divination, and Prophecy, he has strong precognition and the ability to predict the future using various divination methods, but prefers astrology. The nature of his Astrology domain also makes his visions stronger at night. In addition, he can sense (and enhance) precognitive potential, show people his visions, render people 'blind' by taking away their foresight, and change and 'break' prophecies.
  • Semi-Divine: Due to his 'father' being Tuzu, the Magic Primeval (who was disguised as a male Alicorn at the time), he and his younger biological siblings were born Alicorn demigods. He would later Ascend to godhood after realizing that everyone on some level wants to connect with others and be understood by them, and he would help his younger siblings Ascend as well.
  • Squishy Wizard: While he's a magical powerhouse thanks to his hybrid heritage, he's not very good in physical combat. This getes deconstructed during the 'Twilight of the Alicorns'; he fights Morning Star to protect a Pocket Dimension's inhabitants from being slaughtered for being 'impure', and nearly dies from it since Morning Star is the superior fighter. Thankfully, his siblings rescue him, but he has to enter a healing sleep in order to recover from his injuries.
  • Star Power: As a god of Stars, he can manipulate starlight and manifest it in various forms like beams and barriers. He can use the heat properties of stars by manifesting starlight as blinding fire, including creating 'star-bombs' that explode and scorch anything within the area of impact. He can summon meteor showers, empower himself with starlight, and telepathically speak through stars, including those connected to deities who represent specific celestial bodies. This includes Celestia's Sun, itself a star. His domain also gives him immunity to radiation and plasma-related attacks. It's noted his domain-related powers are very similar to those possessed by Queen Dazzleglow and the Sparkle Ponies.
  • Straight Gay: He's gay and thus only feels genuine romantic and sexual attraction towards males, something he realized when dating females didn't work out for him. And while he's currently in a polyamorous relationship with Golden Scepter (a stallion) and Midday Messenger (a mare), he only loves Midday platonically due to his sexuality. Despite this, he's a well-rounded, complex character with his own strengths and flaws, and never shows any stereotypical behaviors at all. For his part, he has accepted and come to terms with his sexuality a long time ago thanks to his friends and family's support.
  • Stronger with Age: As an "Antecedent"-ranked god, he's both incredibly ancient and incredibly powerful, and being part-Grand Primeval increases his magical power even further. This is due to deities in general possessing a biology different from mortals, where they get stronger the older they are.
  • Super-Senses: As a god of Astrology, he has telescopic vision, but he doesn't use it for his astrology studies as he feels such an ability defeats the purpose of actually having a telescope.
  • Sympathy for the Devil: Despite being nearly killed by Morning Star for being an 'imperfect degenerate', he ends up sympathizing with the Fallen Alicorn because Morning Star represents what he himself could have become had he not listened to the concerns and advice of those around him. This ends up catching Morning Star completely off-guard.
Morning Star: Typical. A mad-stallion like you... avoiding the inevitable by protecting the imperfect scum and all that should've been erased off the face of this planet... You should've died like the degenerate you are.
Prince Stella Fictor: Hehe... I feel sorry for you...
    Morning Star: What?!
Prince Stella Fictor: I... I had a dream once, where I fought an Alicorn dressed in armor... When I took off their helmet, I saw my face reflected in them... but now I see that dream can also relate to you... You're everything I could've been, Morning Star... had you... not listened to... them...
  • Telepathy: As a god of Stars, he has a form of telepathy that allows him to speak to people through stars, including those connected to deities who represent specific celestial bodies, such as Celestia's Sun. He would teach others this ability after joining the Church of the Stars, and this is what also allowed him to discover the nature of Moon Ray/Canticum's coma.
  • Thinking Up Portals: As a god of Stars, he can open up star portals. His entry notes this to be his most frightening ability, and for good reason - while he normally uses it for Teleportation, he can choose to send people to planes and dimensions full of eldritch horrors or a crushing black void. Thankfully, he won’t do it unless his targets genuinely deserve such fates.
  • Time Abyss: As an "Antecedent"-ranked god who was born during pre-Known History, he is roughly as old as Emperor Golden Scepter. This ends up getting discussed when, to his confusion, the much younger Prince Canticum Lunae (who is a "Greater"-ranked god) re-Ascends and becomes a much older, eldritch god following the 'Cosmic Prophet Debacle'.
Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya: How are you somehow older than me or Golden?
Prince Canticum Lunae Cahaya: aH dUnNo. MaGiC's wEiRd LiKe ThAt. ThEn AgAiN, dRuGs ArE wEiRd, ToO. aH'm StIlL tRyIn' Ta FiGuRe OuT wHy ThErE's AnTlErS oN mAh HeAd WhEn BeFoRe Ah HaD nOnE.
  • Waking Up Elsewhere: He was so grievously injured by Morning Star during the "Twilight of the Alicorns" that, despite being rescued by his fellow Filii Magicae, he had to enter a healing sleep in order to recover. When he finally recovered and woke up, Morning Star was killed by Luminiferous, the Alicorns' Twilight had long ended, and the Imperium Era had started — with one of his lovers, Golden Scepter, having become a cold, ruthless, and xenophobic tyrant in his absence.
  • Warrior Prince: Subverted. He's a Prince and a magical/clairvoyant powerhouse, but he's also a Squishy Wizard due to being a scholar first and foremost. Not helping is that his domains don't offer a lot of combat options besides his Stars domain.
  • Winged Unicorn: He's an Alicorn, though he's specifically a Grand Primeval/Alicorn hybrid thanks to his 'father' being Tuzu, the Magic Primeval. Due to his heritage, his true form is a eldritch Alicorn with traits like a pelt dotted with stars and constellations, six wings with feathers made of golden stardust, and a yellow nebula-like mane and tail. His default form is a a handsome Alicorn stallion with a navy-blue coat that has black gradients and golden-yellow body and facial markings, a rippling golden-yellow mane and tail made of Astrology energy, and a wing gradient going from navy-blue to black and golden-yellow. He also has a Holy Halo made of starlight.
  • You Can't Go Home Again: He willingly chose to stay in the outside world instead of retreating with the surviving Alicorns into their own Sanctuary Realms, feeling he couldn't stand by and watch as innocents suffered under the extremely corrupt Imperium of Ponykind. However, this meant he couldn't visit his family ever again, and his homesickness (and refusal to talk about it with anyone) contributed to his breakdown in the Third Age. Fortunately, this would end when the ancient Alicorns unveiled themselves to the outside world, with Midday Messenger serving as their diplomat.

Queen Magus Kawan, the Friendly Queen

Classification: Ascendant/Ethereal

Portfolio: Magic, Belief, Friendship

Rank: Divine (Tier IV/Greater)

Affiliation: Filii Magicae, Kawan Pantheon (main)

Queen Magus Kawan, born Glory (her entry here), is the Alicorn goddess of Magic, Belief, and Friendship, and is both a member of the Filii Magice and the leader of the Kawan Pantheon.
  • Abstract Apotheosis: She Ascended to godhood as an Alicorn goddess of Magic, Belief, and Friendship under Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya's tutelage.
  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade:
    • Omar magically severing Glory's horn to use it as a potion ingredient in the read-along book My Little Pony: Glory the Magic Unicorn is treated much more seriously in the Codexverse, as what Omar did is essentially mutilation of a sapient creature. Prince Rudolph was horrified upon hearing of it, which influenced his decision to help restore Glory's horn back. Despite that happening tens of thousands of years ago, losing her horn briefly still affected her enough for her to despise anyone who deliberately and maliciously robs others of their magic.
    • Also, compared to canon Glory, she had to deal with many more hardships and tragedies, such as outliving all of her mortal friends and family, surviving the end of four Ages, having one of her Ascendant friends attacked and sealed away by a bigoted, magic-hating organization, and dealing with a parental figure's psychological breakdown (as what happened to her adoptive father, Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya). Her friendship with Magic Star (now Princess Magicum Ponyland) also fell apart because Magicum resented her for keeping faith in sapientkind and outright accused her of enabling sapientkind's worst evils through friendship — something that enraged her enough to punch Magicum in the face and estrange herself from her until Magicum apologized for her Jerkass behavior.
  • Adaptational Backstory Change: Glory had little to no backstory in G1 canon. Here, she's depicted as a Dream Valley Unicorn who grew up in an Earth Pony-centric town. While she still ended up in a Human kingdom out of loneliness and befriended Prince Rudolph, she ended up helping Rudolph expose Omar the Wizard's treachery to the kingdom, leading to his defeat, arrest, and imprisonment by Rudolph's father, King David. She later returned home, and a series of events led to her becoming a respected First Age heroine and, later, a goddess.
  • Adaptational Badass: Glory from G1 is a Unicorn whose main ability to magically teleport herself and others by "wishing", though she does use magic comet rays to save Sparkler from being turned invisible in one G1 comic. Here, she's an Alicorn goddess who embodies Magic, Belief, and Friendship with a huge plethora of spells in her arsenal, and is skilled in fighting with a rapier. Her teleportation ability is described as one of her most powerful and dangerous, as she's not only exprienced in using Weaponized Teleportation, but she can also empower her teleportation through belief. Following the "Cosmic Prophet Debacle", she became an eldritch goddess whose powers became strong enough to affect eldritch beings with no ill side-effects.
  • Adaptational Explanation:
    • How her magic works is expanded upon — in the read-along book My Little Pony: Glory the Magic Unicorn, she is implied to have a form of teleportation that's based on wishes, similar to Twilight the G1 Unicorn. Here, both her teleportation abilities and overall magic is based on the strength of her beliefs, meaning that her wish to be accepted elsewhere was so strong that she ended up in a Human kingdom in another part of the world.
    • Her minor role in the "The Return of Tambelon" four-parter is explained as being put under Queen Majesty's protection during Grogar's assault. Grogar had captured so many Unicorns that Majesty wanted to protect those who still remained. Fortunately, the Six Dreamers would rise up and foil Grogar's plan for world domination, in the process rescuing the captured Unicorns.
  • Adaptational Sexuality: She's asexual and aromantic here, whereas Glory from G1 canon wasn't.
  • Adaptational Skill: She's a swordsmare, her main weapon being a divinely-made rapier named Majestic, which her canon counterpart didn't have. She also, through Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, knows astrology and how to use it to empower her own spells, another skill G1 Glory didn't have.
  • Adaptation Name Change: She's named Glory in canon, but here she's called "Magus Kawan" to reflect her growth into a goddess and Queen.
  • Adaptation Species Change: Glory from G1 was a Unicorn. In the Codexverse, she's an Alicorn goddess.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: She's an Alicorn goddess who embodies Magic, Belief, and Friendship.
  • Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: Her Cutie Mark depicts a silver shooting star leaving purple trails behind it. Since shooting stars are generally associated with wishes, it can refer to how her magic (especially her teleportation abilities) is powered by her beliefs. This goes even further after her Eldritch Transformation, with her Cutie Mark mutating to depict actual shooting stars moving across a dark patch on her flanks.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Because Prince Rudolph befriended her in her despair and came up with a plan that would allow him to restore her horn (which was previously severed by the evil court wizard Omar), she stayed friends with him for the rest of his days and never forgot about him even tens of thousands of years later. While she was devastated by Rudolph's death, her Ascendant family and friends helped her through her grief.
  • Benevolent Mage Ruler: She's an Alicorn goddess of Magic and a powerful mage in her own right, though she's The Red Mage compared to her friend Magicum, who only focused on enchantment and wand-making and is the undisputed master of both. When she founded the kingdom of Kerajaan Kawan in the Glimmering Isles and became its Queen, she became beloved among her subjects for her friendly and approachable temperament. Notably, Changelings, Dragons, and sapient Synthetic Automatons were among the races allowed to live in her kingdom. She also adopted several Tulpas as her children following her Eldritch Transformation, which made Kerajaan Kawan more likely to birth Tulpas (as Tulpas are Made of Magic and generally spawned by abstract concepts and beliefs).
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She's a kind and friendly Queen known for being very approachable, and having experienced loneliness as a mortal filly, she believes everyone deserves a friend regardless of what people think. If she can't help others find a friend of their own, then she'll be that friend. She's also a loving mother to her children, adoptive or otherwise, and she knew what Humans were like as an Equusian race on a personal level; when Grand Matron Hydia's return in the "Dark Ages Crisis" caused many to think badly of Humans in general, she defended Humankind by pointing out the good things they did. However, she despises discrimination and harmful beliefs, and is enraged by those who maliciously rob others of their magic. And as Magicum learned the hard way, insulting friendship and/or treating it as an enablement of wickedness is bound to ensure a solid hoof to the face. It helps that she's backed up by being an ancient goddess and adoptive granddaughter of one of the oldest Grand Primevals alive.
  • Blue Is Heroic: She has a sky-blue streak in her mane that became nebulous after her Eldritch Transformation, and she's a respected First-Age heroine and goddess who participated in many adventures, including helping Prince Valiant rescue Princess Rosabelle from the Trolls of the Castle of Darkness, breaking a curse of perpetual grumpiness that was plaguing Joypatch Isle, and saving a Human kingdom from a treacherous court wizard. Even after becoming an eldritch goddess in the Fourth Age, she never lost her benevolent, kind, and friendly personality.
  • Broken Angel: Just like in My Little Pony: Glory the Magic Unicorn, she had her horn magically severed by Omar, a treacherous court wizard who wanted to use her horn as a potion ingredient to empower himself magically. However, his action is treated as the willing mutilation of a sapient creature, and losing her horn both saddened and horrified her. Naturally, Prince Rudolph was also horrified when he learned what Omar did, influencing his choice to help her by magically restoring her horn. She and Rudolph became close friends, but the experience traumatized her enough for her to develop hatred for people who deliberately and maliciously rob others of their magic.
  • Canon Character All Along: Justified. She's Glory the Unicorn from G1, but has since Ascended to godhood and changed her name to reflect this, especially after becoming Queen of her own kingdom.
  • Celibate Hero: Justified. Like Prince Shamrock Bloom, she's asexual and aromantic, and thus never married even after Ascending to godhood. Her oldest daughter, Baby Glory, was created using the Foal-Making Mirror, and all the children she had after Baby Glory were adopted. Following her Eldritch Transformation, she proceeded to adopt several Tulpas as her children after she made her kingdom's arcane environment more likely to birth Tulpas by her mere presence. This led to her befriending Shamrock himself, understanding the pain his sexuality caused him.
  • Chronic Hero Syndrome: One flaw of hers is that she tends to run herself ragged trying to help others instead of herself, forcing her loved ones to make her take breaks.
  • Commonality Connection: She befriended Princess Arcus, a Third-Age Alicorn, over their shared love for roller-skating.
  • Confirmed Bachelor: Like Prince Shamrock Bloom, she's asexual and aromantic, and thus never married in all her existence.
  • Crossover Relatives:
  • Deity of Human Origin: She was originally a mortal Unicorn who ended up Ascending to godhood under the tutelage of Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, becoming the Alicorn goddess of Magic, Belief, and Friendship. Following the "Cosmic Prophet Debacle", she went even further and became an eldritch goddess.
  • Divine Parentage: Following the deaths of her mortal parents, she would be adopted by her mentor, Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya. This made her a member of the Filii Magicae and a granddaughter of Tuzu, the Magic Primeval by adoption.
  • Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Deconstructed. Because she and her parents were the only Unicorns living in an Earth Pony town, she felt that her friends only befriended her out of pity for her, which influenced her decision to teleport herself away to another part of the world. She later realized this attitude hurt her friends and family, so when she went back home, she tearfully reunited with them and started appreciating them more.
  • The Empath: As a goddess of Friendship, she has empathic powers to sense and/or ease people's loneliness. This is implied to be one of the powers accessible through her domain of Magic, as she can use Psionic magic.
  • Foil: To her friend Magic Star, now Princess Magicum Ponyland. Both are ancient Alicorn goddesses from Queen Majesty's reign, except Magus embodies Magic and is The Red Mage compared to Magicum, who embodies Enchantment and Wand-Making. Magus grew up feeling extremely lonely due to being a Unicorn in an Earth Pony town, leading to her accidentally teleporting herself to a Human kingdom and getting mutilated by an evil Human wizard as a young filly. Magicum, an Earth Pony, grew up idolizing Queen Majesty, a Unicorn, inspiring her to become a wand-maker, but ends up being abused and exploited for four Ages as an adult due to her skills. Despite suffering tragedies like Magicum did, Magus never became cynical because she was surrounded by friends and saw for herself the good people did, allowing her to keep her faith in sapientkind. Magicum, meanwhile, did, and in the process became such a self-righteous Jerkass that she alienates Magus, who punches her in the face and estranges herself from her. And unlike Magicum, who re-Ascends as a Reincarnation of Plasmatio Equus, a dead Alicorn Empyrean, Magus only becomes an eldritch goddess through Caelum Filum's influence. Even their chosen weapons contrast each other, with Magus' weapon being a divinely-made Royal Rapier named Majestic, and Magicum's weapon being a self-created Magic Staff named Polaris.
  • Forgiveness: Despite the damage Moon Ray Vaughoof inflicted on Kerajaan Kawan as Caelum Filum, and despite being transformed into an Animalistic Abomination by him, she still forgave him. This is because Moon Ray, being completely stoned at the time, genuinely wasn't in his right mind to comprehend his actions; once he learned what happened, he deeply apologized to her and helped with both rebuilding and cleanup.
  • Gentle Giant: Having Ascended to godhood while Queen Majesty was still in power, she's quite huge, though she's smaller than the Six Dreamers. After being affected by Caelum Filum's eldritch presence and power, she got even bigger, though only a little. Regardless of the changes, she's still a friendly, compassionate goddess and Queen of her own kingdom... just don't piss her off.
  • God Is Good: She's a friendly, compassionate goddess who believes everyone deserves a friend and is willing to be that friend herself if she cannot help people find friends of their own. She's also the beloved Queen of her kingdom, Kerajaan Kawan, letting even the likes of Changelings, Dragons, and sapient Synthetic Automatons live peacefully among her subjects.
  • God of Good: She's an Alicorn goddess who embodies Belief (specifically, the belief in friendship) and the Magic that comes from it. This makes her similar to Twilight/Amicitia, in that she embodies the magical aspects of Friendship and the Happy Endings that result from befriending others.
  • Good Wings, Evil Wings: Of a "Multicolored wings" example. As an Alicorn from the First Age, she has a magical wing gradient going from white to dark blue-violet as a sign of her divine 'age'. This is one eldritch trait Alicorns develop as they grow 'older'.
  • Happily Adopted:
    • Following the deaths of her mortal parents, she would be adopted by Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, who was previously disguised as one of her Dream Kingdom teachers, Professor Star Dreamer. While she did develop an alien mindset thanks to him, Stella was still a good father-figure to her regardless and she loves him anyway.
    • In a roundabout way, she herself would become the adoptive mother-figure of several Tulpas after her Eldritch Transformation made the arcane environment of her kingdom more likely to birth them, and she was a loving parent to them all.
  • Healing Factor: As a goddess of Belief, she has a healing factor, though how strong it is depends on the strength of her beliefs.
  • Healing Hands: As a goddess of Belief, she has healing powers, though how strong they are is powered by the strength of her beliefs.
  • Heavenly Blue: She has a sky-blue streak in her hair, which became nebulous following her Eldritch Transformation. It represents her divinity and how otherworldly she is. It also represents her ties to her mentor and adoptive father, Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, an ancient Alicorn god who has a navy-blue pelt.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: She's an Ascendant heroine from the First Age, and her deeds included saving a Human kingdom from the treachery of an Evil Sorcerer, breaking a curse of perpetual grumpiness on Joypatch Isle, and helping the Human Prince Valiant rescue his girlfriend, Princess Rosabelle, from the Trolls living in the Castle of Darkness. Her main weapon is a divinely-made rapier, created by Magicum and named Majestic after Queen Majesty, which she can summon at will and channel certain spells through. It also counts as a Royal Rapier since she is a Queen.
  • The High Queen: She became Queen of her own kingdom, Kerajaan Kawan, after settling down in the Glimmering Isles in the Fourth Age. Her subjects love her greatly for her genuinely friendly and approachable personality, and she never lost that part of her after becoming an eldritch goddess. Notably, she let even Changelings, Dragons, and sapient Synthetic Automatons — races that were widely despised across the world for various reasons — live peacefully in her kingdom. She also became the adoptive mother of several Tulpas after her transformation made Kerajaan Kawan's arcane environment easier to spawn Tulpas in general.
  • Holy Halo: After Ascending to godhood, she gained a halo made of Belief energy.
  • Humans Are Bastards: Defied. Having had lived in a time when Humans as a race existed on Equus, she has seen both their best and worst traits, and was best friends with Prince Rudolph, a young Human, in her mortal youth. When negative perceptions of Humans rose with Grand Matron Hydia's return in the "Dark Ages Crisis", she countered them by bringing up the good things Humans did.
  • Humans Are Flawed: This is her view on Humans long after they've disappeared from Equus, though her view leans more on the Humans Are Good side — while there are evil and/or selfish Humans (Omar and Grand Matron Hydia), there are other humans who are genuinely helpful, kind, and benevolent (Prince/King Rudolph and Megan Williams). She even befriended Rudolph in her youth when he was still a Prince out of gratitude for him restoring her horn, and stayed friends with him until he died. When people started thinking badly about Humans with the return of Grand Matron Hydia from the dead in the "Dark Ages Crisis", she countered such negative beliefs by bringing up the good Humans did during their time on Equus.
  • Immortality Begins at Twenty: Subverted. While immortal due to being a goddess, her aging process is completely different from mortals. This shows in her developing eldritch physical traits like magical hair, a Holy Halo, and a magical wing gradient, as well as her power becoming incredibly strong to match her divine 'age'. As an Alicorn goddess who Ascended during Queen Majesty's reign, she's pretty ancient and powerful, though less so compared to the First Age's Six Dreamers, who are Known History's first set of heroes. Being turned into an eldritch goddess by Caelum Filum increases her age and power, but only a little bit.
  • Intergenerational Friendship:
    • Played with her friendship with Rarity/Princess Arcus. She's an ancient Alicorn from the First Age, where as Rarity/Arcus came from the Third Age and thus is much younger chronologically. However, after absorbing the entire Rainbow Nexus into herself during the Third Age's cataclysmic end, Rarity/Arcus' divine aging process was boosted drastically until she physically became a "Titan"-ranked goddess on par with Luminiferous. They became friends over their shared love for roller-skating.
    • Another one of her friends, Prince Shamrock Bloom, is from the Second Age and thus is thousands or tens of thousands of years younger than her. She befriended him via understanding the pain his asexuality caused him.
  • Interspecies Friendship:
    • Much like what happened in the children's read-along book My Little Pony: Glory the Magic Unicorn, she ends up befriending a young Human, Prince Rudolph, after accidentally teleporting herself to his kingdom. Their friendship ends up ruining Omar's ambitions for the throne when, thanks to Rudolph, she proves her sapience to the Humans there and gives solid evidence of Omar's wickedness. Although she goes back home afterwards, she never forgot about Rudolph and kept herself in frequent contact with him for years, even attending Rudolph's coronation when he succeeded his father, David, as King. Naturally, she was devastated when she ended up outliving him thanks to her divine immortality, but her immortal family and friends helped her get through it.
    • There's also her Earth Pony friends in the town she grew up in, though she didn't really appreciate them until after her adventure in Rudolph's kingdom. After moving to the Dream Kingdom to hone her Unicorn magic, she gained befriended more Dream Valley Ponies, most of them either Pegasi or Earth Ponies like Magic Star, Firefly, Parasol, Bow Tie, and the first Applejack.
    • Following her Eldritch Transformation, she is able to befriend Eldritch Abominations because her domain of Friendship now lets her comprehend their alien mindset on some level.
  • Jerkass Realization: After growing up feeling lonely for being a Unicorn in an Earth Pony-centric town, she ends up accidentally teleporting herself to a Human kingdom where many of its subjects had magical powers like her. Unfortunately, she is tricked and mutilated by Omar, an evil court wizard who wanted to use her horn to empower himself so he could overthrow the King. She gains a friend in Prince Rudolph and helps save the kingdom from Omar's treachery, but the whole experience makes her realize that in trying to seek acceptance from others, she drove away her own family and friends, who still loved her regardless of her tribe. After teleporting herself back home, she tearfully reunites with her loved ones and starts appreciating them more.
  • Karmic Jackpot:
    • For her role in helping save a Human kingdom from Omar's treachery, the residents offered her to stay with them as a citizen. However, she turned it down because she felt homesick and started missing the Earth Pony town she grew up in. On the flip side, her heroics earned her a personal visit from Queen Majesty herself and a place in one of the Dream Kingdom's magic schools, allowing her to finally and properly hone her Unicorn magic
    • Also invoked with Prince Rudolph, the Human she befriended in her mortal youth. Despite going back to her own home after helping save his kingdom, she never forgot Rudolph and continued being friends with him out of gratitude for his kindness until the day he died. She even attended his coronation when he succeeded his father as King.
    • Her heroic deeds, friendliness, and magical talents ended up attracting the attention of Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, then disguised as Professor Star Dreamer, who made her his personal student. Under his tutelage, she would eventually Ascend to godhood, though at the time she went by the name "Princess Magus"; it wouldn't be until four Ages later that she would become Queen.
  • Light Is Good: After turning into an eldritch goddess thanks to Caelum Filum, her body and wings turned into shining starlight with a starry wing gradient. She's also a benevolent, kind, and friendly goddess, and she never lost this part of her personality despite having developed a somewhat alien mindset since then.
  • Magic Hair: Her mane and tail became composed of Magic energy post-Ascension. After becoming an eldritch goddess, she gained a cosmic mane and tail showing constellations of various creatures with their friends (including her own) with a nebulous, sky-blue streak in her mane.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Friendly Queen", due to being a goddess of Friendship and a beloved Queen who cares very much for her subjects.
  • Meaningful Name:
    • Her birth name, Glory, refers to high renown or honor won by notable achievements, or one's magnificence and/or great beauty. Glory is a Dream Valley Unicorn whose heroic deed of saving a Human kingdom from a treacherous court wizard earned the attention of Queen Majesty herself, setting off a chain of events that turned her into a respected heroine and goddess. The "Cosmic Prophet Debacle" turned her into an eldritch goddess, but she never lost her heroism, kindness, or desire to make friends.
    • Her Alicorn name, Magus Kawan, translates to "mage" and "friend" in Latin and Malay, respectively. Magus refers to her status and power as an Alicorn goddess of Magic. Kawan refers to her friendly personality and the kingdom she rules over, Kerajaan Kawan, which is a cosmopolitan place populated by even Changelings, Dragons, and sapient Synthetic Automatons.
    • Her main weapon, a divinely-made rapier created by Magic Star/Magicum, is called Majestic. It was named in honor of the deceased Queen Majesty, who was The High Queen of the Dream Kingdom and partially responsible for turning her into the heroine and goddess she is today.
  • Meaningful Rename: Her birth name was Glory, but after Ascending to godhood, she was crowned as Princess Magus, which means "mage" in Latin. This refers to her status and power as an Alicorn goddess of Magic. After founding the kingdom of Kerajaan Kawan in the Glimmering Isles, she was crowned this time as Queen Magus Kawan in accordance to ancient Alicorn traditions regarding royalty. Kawan means "friend" in Malay, referring to her friendly personality and how her kingdom is a cosmopolitan place where members of all races live in peaceful coexistence.
  • Meteor-Summoning Attack: One thing she learned from Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya is a spell that summons meteors.
  • Mix-and-Match Critters: As an Alicorn, she has the chimeric traits of all mortal Pony tribes, but they've been made more eldritch with her Eldritch Transformation.
  • Oppose What You Suffered: Because Omar mutilated her by severing her horn from her head in her youth, she despises those who deliberately and maliciously rob others of their magic. This is a sentiment that many Filii Magicae members share in regards to magic, as doing so is a direct violation of Primeval Law.
  • Our Gods Are Different: She's an "Ascendant" deity, the rarest of the three main types of deities in the Codexverse. She's also an Alicorn, who represent all mortal Pony tribes and possess enhanced versions of their tribal magics. Following the "Cosmic Prophet Debacle", she became an eldritch Alicorn thanks to Caelum Filum's eldritch influence.
  • Outliving One's Offspring: Inverted; she's an Ascendant goddess whose parents were mortal Unicorns. When she outlived both of them, she was devastated, though her adoptive father, Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, and her Ascendant friends would help her with her grief.
  • Parental Substitute: Following her Eldritch Transformation, her sheer presence made Kerajaan Kawan's arcane environment more likely to birth Tulpas. Some of these Tulpas would become her adoptive children.
  • Personality Powers: Her domains of Magic, Belief, and Friendship come from her beliefs in friendship — the more she believes in her friends, the stronger they become, which translates to greater magical and physical power. Her beliefs in friendship ultimately stem from how, after initially pushing her Earth Pony friends away to seek acceptance others, she gained a new understanding of what friendship is and started treating her own friends better.
  • The Power of Friendship: As a goddess of Friendship, she has similar powers to Twilight/Amicitia, one thing being that she's at her strongest when near those she's friends with (and vice-versa). Though not a Love Goddess, her powers are similar to theirs, such as seeing and repairing friendship bonds, a form of precognition and retrocognition that shows both a person’s friendship history and potential friendships with others, and the ability to cast curses to punish those who break friendships and/or mistreat their own friends. Her domain comes with telepathic and empathic powers to sense and/or ease loneliness. Following her Eldritch Transformation, she can extend her powers to eldritch beings, as she now has the ability to comprehend their mindset on some level. Her domain comes from gaining a new understanding of friendship following a fillyhood teleporting accident.
  • Psychic Powers: As a goddess of Magic, one school of magic she can access is Psionic magic. As a goddess of Belief and Friendship, she has telepathic and empathic powers pertaining to the nature of her domains.
  • Psychoactive Powers: As a goddess of Belief, both her healing powers and Healing Factor are powered by the strength of her beliefs, particularly in friendship. If she were to somehow lose faith in friendship, her powers will become weak.
  • Purple Is Powerful: She has a dark blue-violet mane and tail, though her mane has a sky-blue streak. She's a powerful mage and heroine who later became an Alicorn goddess of Magic, though her entry describes her as The Red Mage compared to her friend, Magic Star/Magicum, who is the world's greatest enchantress and wand-maker. She's also a skilled swordsmare, her main weapon being a divinely-made rapier named Majestic. During the "Cosmic Prophet Debacle", she ends up turning into an more powerful eldritch goddess thanks to Caelum Filum's eldritch influence, though it was only a slight boost.
  • Rapid Aging: A positive example; thanks to Caelum Filum's eldritch influence, she ended up rapidly aging until she became physically older than her chronological age would suggest. As a deity, however, age only translates to strength, so she became magically powerful, too. It's ultimately downplayed as unlike Caelum Filum, who was turned back into Moon Ray Vaughoof and re-Ascended as an Empyrean-level god, she only grew a little bigger and powerful in comparison.
  • The Red Mage: Despite both of them being powerful mages, what separates her from her friend, Magic Star/Magicum, is that she a goddess of Magic in general and thus has access to various schools of magic like Enchantment, Psionic magic, Elemental magic, and celestial magic. This makes her powerful and more versatile, but she doesn't specialize in one school of magic, instead using spells from all schools. By contrast, Magicum embodies Enchantment and Wand-Making, but is an uncontested expert in those fields and is widely considered to be the greatest when it comes to enchanting and creating things.
  • Related in the Adaptation: Following Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya's marriage to Emperor Golden Scepter and Midday Messenger, she ends up becoming a sister of Queen Majesty (who was an estranged adoptive daughter of Golden Scepter's), which also makes her an aunt of Majesty's daughters, the Princess Ponies — including Princess Tiffany/Regina Maiestas Ponyland, the Sole Survivor of her sisters.
  • Royal Rapier: She's a Queen, and her main weapon is a divinely-made rapier, created by Magicum and named Majestic after the deceased Queen Majesty. She can summon it at will and channel certain spells through it.
  • Silver Has Mystic Powers: Subverted. While she wears silver divine regalia and a matching crown, they don't grant her any unique powers.
  • Spanner in the Works: Her friendship with Prince Rudolph ended up destroying Omar's ambitions for the throne when she proved her sapience to the Humans and gave solid evidence of Omar's wickedness. Rudolph's father, King David, had Omar imprisoned for his treachery after defeating the latter in a magical duel.
  • Spell Blade: She can channel spells through her divinely-made Royal Rapier, Majestic.
  • Super-Empowering: As a goddess of Belief and Friendship, she can empower her allies based on how much she believes in them and how strong their friendships are. This also applies to herself.
  • Telepathy: As a goddess of Belief and Friendship, she has telepathic powers to perceive other people's beliefs and sense/ease loneliness, respectively. This is also implied to be one of the powers accessible through her domain of Magic, as she can use Psionic magic. And through Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, she learned a cosmic version of telepathy that lets her communicate through celestial bodies like stars and planets.
  • Teleportation: Her most powerful and dangerous ability is Teleportation. Among other feats, she can use long-range teleportation and teleporting large objects to crush things. It's noted that even when she was a mortal filly, her teleportation abilities were powered by her belief, allowing her to save Tootsie from being carried away by Joypatch Isle, though she also accidentally teleported herself to a Human kingdom in another prt of the world. Becoming a goddess of Magic, Belief, and Friendship made her teleportation even stronger. However, it's not without flaws, as her teleportation can be interfered with.
  • Token Minority: Deconstructed and played for drama. She and her parents were the only Unicorns in a Earth Pony-centric town, but while her friends and neighbors accepted her for what she is, she still felt lonely because it. Soon, she started believing her friends, all of them Earth Ponies, only befriended her because they felt sorry for her. She ran away from home and wish herself away to a magical place that would accept her, but landed herself in a Human kingdom where she was duped and mutilated by Omar, an evil court wizard. Fortunately, Prince Rudolph befriended her and restored her horn, and together they exposed Omar's evil... but the experience made her realize she pushed her own family and friends away for the sake of being accepted. Thus, she started appreciating them more when she went back home and tearfully reunited with them.
  • Truly Single Parent: She's both asexual and aromantic, and thus never married. Her oldest daughter and child, Baby Glory, was created using the Foal-Making Mirror after seeing Firefly do the same thing. All of the children who came after Baby Glory were adopted.
  • Weaponized Teleportation: Her most powerful and dangerous ability is teleportation, and becoming a goddess of Magic, Belief, and Friendship made it even more powerful. Among other feats, she can teleport large objects to crush things. However, it's not without flaws, as her teleportation can be interfered with.
  • We Used to Be Friends: She punched her old friend, Magic Star/Magicum, in the face and estranged herself from her because the latter accused her of using friendship to enable sapientkind's evils. This is what contributed to Magicum's self-exile in the Sacred Darkness realm. But thanks to various deities like Twilight/Amicitia Sparkle and others, Magicum realized she acted like a "flank-hole" and apologized to her for her words, leading to their reconciliation.
  • Who Wants to Live Forever?: She discovered the hard way that divine immortality has its downsides when she ends up outliving not only her mortal parents, but also all her mortal friends, including Prince Rudolph and Queen Majesty. She is devastated by this, but her adoptive father, Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, and those of her friends who Ascended themselves would help her recover from her grief.
  • Winged Unicorn: After Ascending to godhood under Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya's tutelage, she became an Alicorn goddess with a mane and tail made of Magic energy, a magical wing gradient going from white to dark blue-violet, and a halo made of Belief energy. Following the "Cosmic Prophet Debacle", she became an eldritch Alicorn with traits like a cosmic mane showing constellations of various creatures with their friends (including her own) with a nebulous sky-blue streak, a shining body and wings made of starlight, a starry wing gradient, and a mutated Cutie Mark showing actual shooting stars moving across a dark patch on her flank. While quite huge due to coming from the early First Age, she only received a slight age and power boost compared to Moon Ray, who, after his stint as Caelum Filum, re-Ascended and rapidly grew into an Empyrean-level Alicorn.
  • Xenafication: In G1 canon, Glory was a young Unicorn who could teleport herself and others by "wishing", though one G1 comic depicted her using magic comet rays to save Sparkler after the latter was turned invisible by a flower necklace. Here, it's revealed her magic is fueled by belief — the stronger her beliefs are, the stronger her spells become, which explains how she ended up in a Human kingdom far away from home. After training under Prince Stella Fictor Cahaya, she Ascends to godhood and becomes the Alicorn goddess of Magic, Belief, and Friendship, though she goes further by turning an eldritch goddess during the "Cosmic Prophet Debacle" thanks to Caelum Filum's influence. She's also a swordsmare whose chosen weapon is a divinely-made rapier named Majestic, created by her friend, Magic Star/Magicum.
  • You Are Not Alone: Having experienced loneliness in her fillyhood for being the only Unicorn in her town, she understands what it's like to feel that way for whatever reason. Thus, she desires to help others find friends of their own or, failing that, be that friend herself.
