Find a Show:
Some children's book Literature
So in elementary school, there was this library book about these colorful and cat-like creatures (i think they were called emots or something but when I try to Google search can't find anything) and they each represent sort of an emoji or different personality something like that, and then there is this hovering robot character that has a face shaped like theirs. anyone know this
Edited by EmeraldDigimonWhat is this quote from?
"the unflappable [character name], all...flappy." I am trying to remember what this quote is from and it's killing me! Any ideas?
Unknown Western Animation
Hi. So, Im new here, but I understand you guys can help me find a cartoon show I used to watch when i was younger. The premise of the show is something about finding magical stone tablets and it centers on a boy from an ancient civilization, who was left in a sort of stasis pod underwater that is draged up in the pilot episode. I remember one episode had them finding a stone tablet in a water labirinth by the coast, while being chased by a gorgon. Also, the boy lives whit some old dude and a girl, both boy and girl bout 12y old. If anyopne knows what is the name of the show, please help. Thank you
Don't Let Me Down Music
All I remember of a song are the repeated lyrics "Don't let me down", but it's not the one by The Beatles or the Chainsmokers.
At one point it get all synth-pop ish and it sounds like "Don't let me down, royce"
Man Loses Immortality While Rest of World Becomes Immortal Literature
I had this on my Kindle, but I cannot find it. I do not recall it being a short story, but it might have been. I read this only about three or four years ago, but it was probably older than that. If I remember correctly, it involved a dystopian atmosphere, but I could be entirely wrong with that. Unfortunately, I do not remember much about the book, but all I remember is a man grows up, but cannot die, I cannot remember why. However, he gave up his immortality, so the rest of the world could be immortal, or something of that extent. The last part of the book had his daughter visiting the hospital to see him and he died happily. I think his name was Ralph, but as I said, it was a few years ago, probably quite hazy on the details. I think "time" was somewhere in the title, or had to do with the plot. I know this is not much to go on, but can anyone please help? Any help would truly be appreciated, thank you. I know some of my queries have been difficult to answer lately, but please, I want to know the title of this story.
Edited: I know I have been ignored much by other users here for being "impatient" with my queries, but I come here for help and I know judging from some of the replies others receive, posters are at their best helpful here. The queries might be perhaps more bumps than guesses or direct answers, but sometimes from what I notice anyway the queries are answered, or at least in an effort to be. I cannot make anyone answer, but I would appreciate any answer, even if it is merely a guess. I deserve help here too, and again, if I did not think well of this site, I would not post here. My queries might also be vague, but I think I provide more useful information than not. Look, for any past behavior, I truly apologize, but I know at least some of you are least quite knowledgeable with the queries. Just had to put this out there, and yes, I am still looking for the title.
Edited by thestormtrooperkid's show involving imaginary friends (SOLVED) Western Animation
from what i can remember, this show was episodic based with no real overarching plots, involving three kids and their imaginary friends that took the shape of animals. the art style was fully 2d and definitely not realistic whatsoever. if it helps, i saw it airing in the early 2010s, but i dont remember if it was released the same time i watched it. any help would be appreciated :)
Edited by cocohelloOld anime on AXN or Animax in the 90s or 2000 Anime
This was a very old and super generic heroes-trying-to-save-the-world show I watched sometime from the 90s to 2000.
The MC is a sword-fighting red haired boy and is said to often get mistaken as a girl. I mean I remember thinking that he looked feminine enough that he could pass as a girl. I know he's a guy because he and (maybe) some others had to swim across a river so he took off his shirt.
The heroes (MC included) each had a mystical ball of power with a kanji or something on it and travelled from planet to planet. They are not really special in any way; they were just selected to be heroes as they had the ball.
I remember they fought human-sized robots (which I guess was to lower the age rating as the MC cleaves his enemies into pieces). It was not a mecha anime.
The main(?)/last villain had a ball of mystical power too. I recall near the end (I know because the show ended soon after) that he killed his attendant with a sword to increase the power of his ball (The sword had a socket or place for the ball).
The villain’s ball was crushed in the end, and a blonde or brown haired girl was the only survivor of the heroes.
The world is saved.
P.S. I. I could have sworn the blond/brunette's name was Isabelle, Isabella or something similar. But Anime-Planet had nothing.
II. My sis recalled that the title of the anime was pretty long. She also found the show poor.

So I've watched this a while back, realizing the actress but not knowing her name, I saved the video and tried to search for her on the web, didn't find anything. In this specific scene she's helping her friend (I think?) against some suspicious guy luring on some girls in a bathroom. Then she chops his neck and knocks him out flat.
I think its French, but I saw it dubbed to English if I recall correctly.
Does any of you know her name? of the name of the show? Thanks.
YA book series with black and gold cover, about a trial/tournament? Literature
i remember seeing this book back in 2015/2016. the book was a gold foil hardcover with black and white text. i don't remember the description but the book seemed to be about a tournament or contest of some kind and there was a central number, i think it was 13? the book also had a sequel with a red foil hardcover and silver text. this is all i remember unfortunately.
Are there any other media that address this?
I'm wondering if there are any other fantasy stories that address astronomy in their lore, even if it's just minor acknowledgement?
Ex.
- Sofia the First establishes that they know astronomy and have their own solar system as well as constellations, Elena of Avalor also has their own constellations but has a Continuity Snarl/Retcon by showing that their solar system is Earth's.
- The Avatar: The Last Airbender shows show that they know enough about astronomy to know about things like how eclipses work, the ocean's tide is affected by the moon, comets, there are meteors, that they're in a solar system, etc.
- RWBY explains that Remnant hasn't achieved space travel yet because instead of oil/gas, their main power source is Dust, which turns out to be unusable once it exits the atmosphere.
Kids' book about two penguins and one doesn't eat
I need it for a TLP draft. There's these two baby penguin siblings (I think they're both boys; the one who isn't eating is definitely a boy), and one of them isn't eating his dinner, so his brother(?) eats it for him, which results in one being fat and the other being skinny. One other character observes them and doesn't like it, accusing the fat one of being greedy.
my childhood tv show where pets can turn into cans
i remember that there was different breeds and genders, they had weird short names and they had commercial breaks where they basically do kung fu, or makeup tutorials, i remember a episode where they painted a bunny and she got mad because somebody drew her wrong, really wish to find it since it was literally my whole childhood
STILL UNSOLVED Man jumps, son ceases to exist, short horror/sci fi story from a collection Literature
This is all I know:
1. Someone here said that they remember reading something like this. They cannot remember basically anything, except that the cover had a monochrome appearance, largely white with some design in the middle in darker color, covered about a quarter to a third of the cover, and was centered.
2. Someone on Yahoo answers said that Joe Hill (author of Dark Carousel) writes these type of stories.
3. I read this on a horror collection I downloaded in 2015-2017, it was fairly new then. I have tried searching on my Kindle and found nothing.
4. This occurs in the story. A man jumps off a building or balcony (quite possibly suicide), I think a father. The mother and son (how old he was I am not entirely sure) were watching news. Suddenly, the son's body slowly disappears, first I think his legs, then his arms, as this happens, his mother screams, "Eli (I think that was his name), look down at yourself ..." He was ceasing to exist. I cannot remember the ending, but knowing how these stories turn out, I think it was not a happy one.
5. I thought it was the collection, "the Seer of Possibilities - And Other Disturbing Tales" by Thomas O or "Choose Your Doom: Collected Short Stories - Picking Stories for the Apocalypse." Apocalypse seems quite familiar for some reason. Something is telling me that this is from one of the Twisted Endings books by author Timothy D Mclendon, but unfortunately, though I downloaded the entire volumes from Amazon, they were returned, for some reason, they are currently unavailable. I will check E-bay.
6. I asked this (of course here), Reedit, Booksleuth, Yahoo Answers, Do You Remember.co.uk, three horror forums, and I sent this in to my local library. The librarian who was probably the most helpful of anyone, asked this approximately to 500 librarians and not one knew.
Now, I know this is very vague, but I know this must seem familiar to at least someone here, I know tons read horror, and searching several of the queries, people here are quite helpful and have made tons of guesses, and half even led to correct answers, and the queries are even vague. Now, only TWO people have helped, and I wish more would, the majority of the responses are bumps. This is discouraging and I do not know who else to ask. I will find this out by myself if I have to, but as I said, I know several of you read horror, and this must ring bells for someone here. PLEASE HELP.
Edited by thestormtrooperAnime Style Hero RTS (Solved: Hundred Swords) Videogame
I remember a long time ago, probably in the mid to late 2000s playing a anime style RTS on PC, I believe it had a similar Hero system to Warcraft III. I bought physically at a retail store, so it's highly unlikely that it's a fan game of any kind.
Edited by LocustPorridgeStopmotion mouse that teaches maths. Western Animation
It was a learning segment in a show involving this mouse the teaches maths. It was set in a Spanish/Mexican town and the mouse was Senor something. It was on CBBC in the late 90's.
Book Report Shenanigans Film
There's a Rodney Dangerfield movie about a rich and lazy college student who pays the author of a certain book to ghostwrite a book report on it, and the teacher gives that book report an F. My parents wish they could recall its title, as that would make searching for a copy of the movie in the library a lot easier.
Edited by Miss_DesperadoDoctor Who Fan-Made PSA Web Original
Has any YouTuber ever spoofed the "don't drink and drive" public safety announcements, and all the times the titular character of Doctor Who wrecked the TARDIS by regenerating inside it, by making a Gallifreyan "don't fly and regenerate" public safety announcement?

Edited by Miss_DesperadoRock song, only have the chorus melody Music
I used to love this song, but now I can't remember the name nor any lyrics except for the start of the chorus ("Today we fall apart"), which didn't work in a Google Search.
I played a rough version of the chorus on the piano though, so maybe that'll help: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gFPme05ZpRZk1wNNmP_gNMuiw908SdIh/view?usp=sharing
horror web browser game series Videogame
I remember the games but not the name, it was heavily centered around darkness and the antagonist was something like an onryo, the first game was about escaping a house much like the "you are trapped on a room" and was first person perspective, the second was on an abandoned hospital and picked up directly from the end of the first game this time from a sidescrolling visual like an adventure game, I was told that there were other 2 games but i didnt play them and is one of the reasons I want to find the series before flash stops being supported. I also remember that it was on english but it seemed translated, so it could have be made from a non english speaking country.
Kingdom Hearts Fanfic Web Original
There are a couple Kingdom Hearts fanfics I’ve been looking for. I’ve tried searching different combinations of things I remember from the stories, but no luck so far.
The first one was a song fic where they’re all in highschool. Sora gets to school before everyone else and goes to the auditorium to play “Fireflies” by Owl City on the piano. The lyrics were all written out and everything. Then Roxas (I think) shows up with some other characters (who specifically I don’t remember) and they talk about something for a bit before Sora comes back crying and says “Kairi...she...she broke up with me!” And then Roxas sings a censored version of Greenday’s “American Idiot” to cheer him up. Like following him around the school singing.
The second fanfic is also a school au, probably not the same one since it seems to be more of a crack fic. I remember there was a running gag of Namine always wanting to burn things, until she creates a “Blade Key” in art class and accidentally drops it down a vent? A shaft? or something, where she yells for it to come back. Meanwhile, Adora is running a high fever and stumbling around the hallways looking for someone. Maybe it was her, but I can’t remember.
The last one is also a school au, where Roxas (I think) is autistic and gets bullied by a member of Organization XIII (which one I don’t remember, but he had two lackeys with him, one may have been Larxene?) who yells that “we just want to...have some FUN!” in Roxas’ face.
I think they were all on Fanfiction.net, but I could be wrong. I don’t remember them being particularly good. They could’ve been taken down for copyright reasons (especially the first one) but I don’t know. Has anyone heard of these fics?
Two teenagers and piggy bank Literature
In eighth grade, my class read a book about two teenagers who befriended a man after they prank call him. The man has a room in his house full of piggy banks, I think. The teenagers throw a party at his home and that results in the man having a heart attack.
Non-licensed GBA platformer? Videogame
So back when I was a teenager and playing gba games on the computer through less than legitimate means and coming across a not great platform game. I feel fairly certain it wasn't a movie or tv show tie-in, I think it had a fairly distinctive english title and it definitely featured a female protagonist. I also recall there being a level called Skyport or something similar, but memories are a bit hazy. So probably an original IP, could have been part of a series. EDIT: I also remember there being a very annoying Mammoth boss

A threatening, poorly-translated sign
It was a picture of a sign someone posted on a pole or something saying not to make noise outside of "my bungalow house" or else you'd be met with violence. I think I saw it on a listicle on Boredpanda or one of those sites around 2013.
